"There’s nothing more necessary in this exceptionally hot summer than a dragonfruit popsicle from Picole. Unless it’s the cotton candy or strawberries and cream pops. Maybe all three." - Courtney E. Smith

Where to Find the Chilliest Popsicles in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"What sets these Brazilian-style, creamy or fruit-based pops apart is that they are filled with concoctions like banana Nutella or Chamoy. Then the pops are dipped, drizzled, and/or sprinkled with even more toppings to complete the creation." - Rachel Pinn

Google
If you're a coconut lover, you have to try the toasted coconut pop with coconut topping at Picolé! 🌴🥥 It’s rich, creamy, and full of real coconut flavor. The toasted bits add a perfect crunch, and the topping takes it to the next level. What makes it even better? They make their products fresh in-house, so everything tastes authentic and high quality. Definitely worth a visit!

Google
Picolé Pops serves up homemade paletas that are truly one of a kind. Each one is packed with flavor, consistently delicious, and impossible to resist. They offer a variety of unique flavors and toppings that make every visit exciting. Plus, the portions are generous and priced just right. A perfect treat for anyone craving something sweet or refreshing.

Second time I've been here amd it's still the same great treats and service. We got to play some of the games while we waited for our order. The restroom is for paying customers only and is very clean.

Santiago

Google
Ordered a coconut paleta and a cookies and cream paleta. They both tasted very good. They have a nice variety of flavors. The shop was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They also have plenty of seating.

Google
This is the best icecream place in Dallas! They even have alcohol infused pops for the adventurous type. Delicious flavors and toppings for the whole family.

Google
Coworker recommended this place and I’m glad she did! Will definitely come back to try out different flavors

Google
It was a cute and interesting place! The flavors of the ice cream were really good & fresh! They have infused ones too! Must try! Definitely will return again!

Google
Picole, thank you so much for making my conference for Dallas College so successful. Excellent customer service, the Popsicles were absolutely delicious especially the pistachio pop, you guys were on time and we’re such a joy to work with. Can’t wait to work with you guys again!

Yelp
This place has the best ice cream and mangonados in Dallas, no question. The only things that could be better is for the staff to pickup the phone, they never do. I usually try calling ahead to see if they're out of the mango stuff since I don't live nearby but oh well, I go anyway. The other thing to improve is how fast the ice pops made with milk melt, I'm talking within one minute the popsicle is bending halfway to the point of breaking, makes it hard to eat it without a spoon. I love this place though and go at least once every other week if not more.

Yelp
Was having a hard day and ice cream usually makes things better so I decided to drop in and g e this place a try. Although not a traditional ice cream shop they have popsicles that you can add toppings to and make your own delicious creation. They also have alcohol infused popsicles so if you are having the type of day I was having, it can make you forget some of the day's frustrations. I went simple . . . The mai tai and I was thinking I'd get something hard that I couldn't but into but was pleasantly surprised when I realized it wasn't frozen solid so I could easily bite into it. This popsicle also packed a punch which was what I was looking for. As it's located in the bishop arts area and if you know anything about this area you know parking can be challenging however they have their own parking lot which makes it so much easier to get in and enjoy a treat. Will I be back? Definitely and next time I'm bringing folks with me!

Yelp
Melissa gave us amazing service. The paletas were all so yummy. The toppings and dark chocolate were the perfect touch! Get a desert and alcohol one. 1 is not enough!
google avatar

Yelp
Picolé is a great dessert spot to go to if you're looking for a quick and delicious frozen treat. The store always smells clean and is nice and cool inside. The service was fast and the employees were attentive and answered any questions we had. One of my favorite things was the homemade chamoy they used on the popsicles! You can definitely taste the freshness and it compliments the paleta so well! everything was so yummy and we'll definitely be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
Surprisingly good and I'm not a big fan of popsicles. I got the strawberry cheesecake with vanilla drizzle, pecans and graham crackers. I recommend just getting the whole thing dumped in the vanilla instead of a drizzle. Helps the toppings stay on. The service was phenomenal and the staff helped with recommendations

Yelp
The worst customer service ever! Im not sure if it was lack of English Language that It was missing or they didnt care what we were asking! They were looking each other and wondering! They told us they dont have nothing sour cups with the presentation in the picture!

Yelp
Very unique popsicle shop with delicious flavors! I bought 2 pops when I visited because I was so excited by the flavors that I saw :-D On this visit, I first tried the Banana Nutella and had it topped with graham cracker crumbs and more Nutella (after the fact I realized that the additional Nutella wasn't necessary and it came out really thick) but the popsicle itself was delightful! The 2nd popsicle that I purchased, about an hour after the above popsicle, was the Blackberry Mojito - also very good but the consistency of the popsicle was a little too ice-like; I was hoping it would have a somewhat creamy texture, similar to the Banana Nutella popsicle which was very soft. Overall, I was satisfied by both popsicles and will definitely return to this place whenever I'm in Dallas again!
google avatar

Adela G.

Yelp
This place is amazing. They have so many options and some even come with alcohol. It has a cute aesthetic inside and they popsicles are just what you need on a hot day!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Delicious popsicles with a variety of dips and toppings to add on top. The reason I took of a star is due to the price but I will say they were good.
google avatar

Tami P.

Yelp
The ice cream and toppings were good (3+ star) and staff was friendly, but the cleanliness of the place was just plain gross, thus the 1 star rating. If I return, I'd check for improved cleanliness first, then decide if I want to order. It's too bad because they are good. Hopefully, the owner/manager will see this and clean so the next people will have a better experience and review. It's not that they were too busy to clean either...3 workers were standing around talking behind the counter while we ate. I went to sit on the bench, saw all the stains and grime then opted for a chair with no cushion instead. The table was dirty, window areas next to the table were filthy. It doesn't take much to keep a place clean, especially a food place so I expect much better.

Yelp
Went to this place for the first time last month, it was soooo good! I got the s'mores and the cookie sandwich with extra chocolate drizzle. The lady up front was so kind and helpful in helping us pick out what we wanted. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Who doesn't like popsicles? Found this popsicle shop across the street from a donut shop that I wanted to check out. Yup, I ate a popsicle after eating donuts. I did not regret either. They have a good selection of popsicles. Their Pistachio popsicle was creamy yummyness. Their Cucumber Lime popsicle was delicious too. Definitely check this place out if you want to eat something cool.

Erin M.

Yelp
Delicious! Wonderful flavor and topping choices. Fun atmosphere and on site parking!!
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
Gonna be honest and say upfront that I wasn't expecting much, I mean it's just a popsicle, right? I was SO wrong! It was so good that I had actually purchased a slice of pie from another place and was planning on eating that while my friend ate his popsicle. Once I saw the menu and the ingredients you could add to it, I had to try it. It did not disappoint and I ate every bit of it (even though I was full from dinner and felt like I could explode!). Plan to go again and, by the way, I never ate the slice of pie, lol!
google avatar

Alexa T.

Yelp
This spot is super cute!! I got a strawberry popsicle without toppings. You can get cream-filled popsicles and alcohol infused popsicles. The popsicle I got was nothing special. But I'm sure if you got some more specialty ones it'd be yummy!
google avatar

Kelsey R.

Yelp
Popsicle 4/5 Location 5/5 +Good photo opportunities +Restrooms available I actually loved the variety of popsicles offered at this location. I had a mango flavored popsicle with chamoy/tajin goodness all over it! You can also enjoy some boozy popsicles if that's your kind of thing.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious live the ice cream and toppings would come again, 2nd visit and was not disappointed a wonderful birthday treat

Yelp
There are not many gourmet popsicle places you can find in Dallas or much of the DFW metroplex. This place has a blend of unique flavors and ideas with a beautiful upbeat inside decorum. The staff gives great recommendations curated to what you want if you ask them questions and they have great service flexibility to make sure you walk away with a flavor combination to your liking.
google avatar

Angela J.

Yelp
Really good flavors with good toppings in a beautiful area and opportunities to sit and watch television. Very good customer service experience too.
google avatar

Wilson L.

Yelp
Amazing popsicle spot. Very delicious dessert and the staff are so friendly. Super cute shop, definitely will come back again when I'm in Dallas next.

Yelp
Come day or night, this is the location I'm most comfortable at. Well lit, spacious, clean, private parking lot, and, choice of sitting inside or out. Yes, delicious are their artisan popsicles. With different flavors tried, my favorites includes their "Mango with Chamoy" and "Cookies 'n Cream". Friendly and patient is the staff. And with their recommendations, I have now drizzled my popsicles with chocolate and added toppings. CHEERS!
google avatar

Isa W.

Yelp
Definitely a great place to go if you're having a severe sweet tooth. Lots of options.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to go for a quick, taste for ice cream. The infused pops are great. You have the option for additions too

Earl C.

Yelp
My daughter's favorite spot after church service. Ice cream served here is well above par. Topping seem limitless although I'm sure there's a limit right. Nice kinda ice cream parlor vibes.
google avatar

Paula C.

Yelp
Every time I'm in the Bishop Arts area, I make sure to hit this place us. A large assortment of popsicles, smoothies, even mangonada. All kinds of dips/sprinkles/chocolates/nuts to amplify your popsicle! And alcohol infused pops are outstanding!
google avatar

Bunny B.

Yelp
Love the alcohol infused pops! Tequila Sunrise is the strongest and we really felt it after having it. And it tastes great - not the super sweet and artificial flavors. Yum!!'
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
Fun place for dessert on a hot day! They have lots of fun and creative pop seasonal flavors, and you can even see all their supplies for making them. \\ cucumber lime - got the pop by itself without toppings - loved how it had bits of cucumber in it--I'm convinced it's made of good, real stuff Service is quick but if there's a line because they're so popular, check out their story on the wall. Not much parking right outside. Some seating inside and outside.
google avatar

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Pretty good dessert spot in the Bishop Arts District! Got the Ferrero Rocher Pop and the Strawberries and Cream Pop - both tasted good. This place has great flavors and toppings. They have fruity pops, creamy pops, filled pops, alcohol pops, and they serve smoothies as well. Place is pretty clean, they have outdoor seating, and all the staff I've met so far have been super friendly. I've come here multiple times after I've tried some pretty disappointing restaurants nearby LOL and the pops have always put me in a much better mood.
google avatar

Justine H.

Yelp
Got a cookies and crème ice pop. It was good and didn't feel too heavy. If you're in the area drop by for a try, but a bit pricy.

Dirk S.

Yelp
Friendly staff and great ice cream! Would recommend to anyone in the area. I only wish they had a location closer to Lakewood.
google avatar

Han C.

Yelp
So delicious, and I've been thinking about the popsicle daily since I had it a few days ago! Had the Ferrero Rocher, which is a filled popsicle, dipped in dark chocolate and topped with the white and chocolate round crunchies, which I highly recommend if you're into sheer delight. The boy had the S'mores, which basically looks like an ice cream sandwich, with the vanilla popsicle sandwiched in between chocolate graham crackers. He also had his dipped in dark chocolate and topped with the white and chocolate round crunchies, b/c those are the best toppings. I think it's supposed to have marshmallows too, but they were out by 9pm on a Friday night, but it still tasted fine. The topping game is strong here, with beautiful smashed pistachios, all the types of sprinkles (rainbow rounds, chocolate jimmies), graham cracker dust, oreos and more. Both of our popsicles totaled $11 and change with the dip and toppings - seems pricey, but seriously worth it!

Yelp
We've been going to Picole Pops for about 3 years now. The pops are always perfect! The flavors are amazing and the customer service is outstanding. The cute shop is a whole vibe!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice trendy dessert shop in Bishop Arts. High end popsicle concept seems cool. Worth a try just for that. Ends up, its more than just concept. They have a wide variety of options in standard fruity and creamy form. But then take those a step further with filled popsicles and alcohol infused varieties. They can then magically coat these things in chocolates, Tamarindo chamoy/Tajin, and other toppings. End result is excellent. Well beyond what might be expected. We ended up hiring them for our welcome event before our wedding. The line that formed looked like it was at a Disney park. We had guests tell us they had 4 of them...

Yelp
This is a good place for grandkids, mamas, and a lot of fun enjoyed it. Stupid application. Wants me to finish the review. Why can't you say somethings just good and leave it at that Jesus

Yelp
Picole Pops literally deserves 5 stars just for the amazing customer service alone, and having some amazing ice pops is just icing on the cake. The staff we interacted with were super helpful and gave us great flavor descriptions and ideas on the appropriate pops to get for our palate. They are really personable and create an enjoyable customer experience. With their advice, my girlfriend and I ended up getting the Smore's pop and Mamey. The Smore's pop was great and was made from an ice cream sandwich drizzled with chocolate sauce and dusted with graham crackers. The ice cream sandwich filling was creamy and had the consistency of an ice pop. One of the coolest things they do with the Smore's pop is they briefly torch it to give you that Smores-like sensation. My GF got the Mamey, which had a subtlety sweet, fruity flavor kind of like a melon. She got it dipped with dark chocolate and topped with almonds and toasted coconut. The Mamey is a refreshing flavor to have on a hot Texas day, and it has a well-balanced level of sweetness. Overall, we were both very satisfied with our pops and we will be returning to try out more of Picole's unique pop wonders (and play their board games as well).

Mindy M.

Yelp
Yummy!! Fun to try different combos. I tried the cotton candy, my friend tried the ferror racher. She said it was the best treat she's ever had!
google avatar

Leah P.

Yelp
What a wonderful place! Great pops and service. It was so much fun putting together my delicious masterpiece. I got a waffle taco of sorts, a coconut paleta, Carmel sauce, almonds slices and because she asked milk chocolate drizzle. It was yummy. My husband got a ferrero rocher pop. On its own was so good. It's family owned which is the icing on the.... Pop.
google avatar

Misa P.

Yelp
This is by far one of our favorite pops places in Dallas ! Their pops was flavorful and unique. I got the strawberry with condensed milk filled in the middle ! It was so good! My husband got the avocado one and he said it was the best he ever had so far. The place is really cute and they have games for you to play there if you want to hang out! I would go every weekend if we didn't live so far up north!
google avatar

Chrystarie H.

Yelp
Love this place. So much variety and charm. Staff is super helpful and friendly. The shaded patio area is a great touch. Will be back again to try more flavors! Dragonfruit/Lemonade pop is a Winner!!

Justin V.

Yelp
Very unprofessional, waited 30+ minutes for two simple treats. Watched our order be given away to the wrong people twice while waiting.

Michaela S.

Yelp
The place is very nice and the people are extremely nice. The ice cream bars are really good. You need to come here anytime your in town.
google avatar

Yelp
A really lovely example of how I do in fact sometimes eat dessert first!! My friends and I were planning to get dinner nearby in the Bishop Arts District, and stopped by Picolé beforehand because our dinner place had a bit of wait. The first thing I noticed was that this pospicle shop is absolutely adorable. There is so many cute places to take a picture with your friends and your pospicles! Their menu has so many options from fruity pops to creamy, filled pops and even ones with alcohol! I got a creamy pop - the cookies and cream and my friend got a pineapple mojito pop. There's also an abundance of toppings. I dipped mine in milk chocolate and added oreo pieces. My friend added chamoy and tajin to her pineapple mojito pop. We ate our popsicles in the covered patio area out front. There is a small parking lot that had a few open spots when we stopped by on a Thursday evening.

Arla C.

Yelp
These gourmet popsicles are sooooo sinfully delicious. I tried the strawberry cheesecake dipped in white chocolate topped with sliced almonds. It was a recommendation from the lady who waited on us. Let's just say she knows her stuff! Omg! My mouth is watering as I write this. This place is a must try! This summer I will be a regular. Thank you!
google avatar

Diana K.

Yelp
O M G! Why haven't I ever tried this place until recently? The store is very IG worthy, with the backdrop at the entrance and then the whole art of making a dipped pop make for a great experience. Add to that the popsicle is delish!! I got the Nutella one with dark chocolate dipping and little chocolate balls. Hubby got the cucumber lime. Both just hit the spot in different ways. I like this location better than the Bishop Arts one - this one is more family oriented and a bigger space.
google avatar

Anthony L.

Yelp
Not sure how to rate this place. The pop I had was okay (3/5 stars). In hindsight I wish I would've ordered a booze pop. I ordered the vanilla bean popsicle. It was then drizzled with dark chocolate and sprinkles. Maybe it was just the kid in me, I'm not sure. I should've ordered something different. But I'm not going to punish this shop because of my inner child. I give this place 4 stars because the concept is cool and I think I could've made a better choice of pops. If nothing else, the nostalgia of buying a popsicle and the novelty of dressing it makes Picolé worth a visit!

Kristian W.

Yelp
Such a good and unique idea. Something you would expect to be overpriced, but actually very reasonable. Clean facility and tasty treats! 4/5 until they make their pina colada with alcohol in it too! Haha can't wait to return with friends and family.

Liz S.

Yelp
The girl told me the blender was dirty and could not be used but continued to use it for the next customer on top of tht they took forever to give me my order and half assed it. Tht same girl also looked annoyed and not very happy to attend my friends and me as we were trying to order . It was the short female, blonde hair , too much blush.
google avatar

Lupe J.

Yelp
I really enjoy this place I've been here 2xs so far, but the pops are simply delicious. First let me begin with saying that I'm thankful that parking hasn't been an issue here such as other ice cream places in Dallas. Second I love the prices as opposed to other ice cream businesses in the DFW area. I also absolutely love the family friendly seating. Although my kids are teens I like that the offer seating with picturesque scenery and games for all to enjoy. Lastly what I enjoy about this place and makes it worth my 25 minute drive is the staff, they are welcoming and always have a smile on their face!
google avatar

Amy J.

Yelp
This place was super good. I got strawberry cheesecake drizzled with milk chocolate and topped with graham crackers and Oreos. Highly recommend especially 9 months pregnant.
google avatar

Nicole B.

Yelp
Lots of flavors and toppings. A fairly big space for a popsicle shop. The staff was friendly on a Sunday afternoon, with perfect window seats for people watching on Davis. There were games to keep the younger kids occupied (Jenga, connect four, etc.) and everyone got to spruce up their popsicle to their hearts desire. What's unique were the filled popsicles, but I opted for a hibiscus with some delicious Tajin seasoning to spruce it up.
