The 17 Best Restaurants & Bars In Joshua Tree - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"It’s been a long day at the park and the last thing you want to do is stand in the kitchen for two hours to make dinner for everybody. Give the cutting board the night off and order takeout from Pie For The People. It’s easy to be skeptical of a NYC-style pizza place in the middle of the California desert, but after one pie your instincts will be proven wrong. The pizza is solid, and the menu is big enough to ensure everyone will be happy. The meat-heavy Hwy 62 Revisited is our favorite." - Brant Cox

Google
Definitely feels like you entered a hole in the wall, and you can tell it’s set up for takeout but once they finish setting that space up it’ll be a great location, well it has a lot of potential! The pizza on the other hand, is really really good. I got the David Bowie and I highly recommend it. Incredible pizza and very nice and helpful staff

Google
This is an easy 5-star food review! Highly recommended for lunch/dinner during a Joshua Tree National Park day, as it's near the West Park entrance. The toppings take center stage here, and they are WONDERFUL. The bell peppers are grilled, the onions are caramelized, the roasted garlic is whole fresh... on and on, read the menu. But the customer service put this over the top. I placed a custom order with instructions requesting an "extra crispy" crust. They delivered perfectly, and without extra charge. They were super cool about drinks and generous with condiments, too. Great people :) My girlfriend and I both ate this crunchy, oven-flamed pizza stuffed with exquisite toppings and a lovely white (Bianca) based sauce and our eyes POPPED 👀 Not too greasy, perfect. Can't wait to go back!

Google
I placed an order online for 2 pizzas and some fries with chicken and cheese. I can't remember the name. But it was all amazing, my 4 yr old got her own pizza and hasn't moved from her table. She loves the big slices, and the sauce is her absolute favorite part. The delivery guy was very nice and handed over our food. I can say that we have found our new pizza place. Thanks guys!!

Google
We are so delighted with our meal tonight! We got two small pizzas, the David Bowie and the Jonny Popper-- they were delicious!!! The flavors are an original blending of savory and sweet--it was wonderful! Ryon, the owner, is so kind and obviously loves his craft. He serves up pie at festivals and pop hopes all over the place. Hed definitely the type of business owner you want to support. We can't wait to eat here again!

Google
One free drink refill, large thin crust pizzas but inconsistent crust quality (sometimes crispy sometimes not), so-so service. Long wait for your pizza (20-30min). Good place to stop by if you're hungry and not in a rush. Close to $30 for a large pizza - good for 4 people (2 slices each). Recommended - David Bowe flavor, has a nice sweetness to it.

Google
I just ordered 2 of the best damn pizzas in Yucca Valley. Pie for the People pizza is worth EVERY dollar. I have attached photos of my order, along with the receipt so you know exactly what I ordered. I am a life long customer as long as I live in Yucca Valley and they remain in operation. One last thing, YOU WILL NOT REGRET ORDERING FROM THERE. You have to try it at least once but once you do you will feel the same as I do. I LOOOOVE Pie for the People!

Google
Great place for a delicious variety of vegetarian and meat lovers pizzas. Fresh dough, fresh ingredients and drinks. This place is super popular so expect to wait while they make it! Or get a big slice of over 6 different variety in their ready to heat showcase and dash away! Either way it's all good!

Google
This place is kind of a hidden gem; one of those hidden restauraunts that everyone just drives past without even noticing it's there. Well, those people who do that are missing out. We bought the margarita pizza, and 😚👌 it was delicious! It's great for the entire family -- or just for you to have to yourself... I won't judge you.

Yelp
I THINK THEYRE CLOSED!?! Drove by and this spot seems empty! Pie for the people(s), has me feeling nostalgic, like 8 years back nastalgia'. Well, Bada Bing, Bada Bang pizza be my thang so Let GO of the "Weso My Pesso"! The GO GREEN straight up stole my heart! I used to love the previous location and the outdoor, backyard seating but the location in Yucca Valley is cool without the aesthetic value and now that's closed down tooo??

Yelp
Best fire oven baked pizza in town!!!! This place has the best pizza with the best topping. We came from hiking the Joshua Tree and came here for a bite. We got the Casey Jones which had Bianca sauce. Toppings included chicken, pepperoncini, pepperoni, bell peppers, roasted garlic, gorgonzola cheese, bacon, carmelized onions, and pesto drizzle. They make their own dough and saw them stretching them out on our way in. They even gave us 2 free coke can. I mean you can't beat the best flavor in town along with great friendly service. Love this place!

Yelp
I ordered a medium pizza along with two cannoli's. It was pretty busy in the restaurant which we understood, and we were given about a 35-40 minute wait time. I submitted my phone number to be texted when the order was ready. I ended up waiting over 50 minutes to get no text message nor the order still not ready. I left and requested a refund for an order I never received. Not a place I would come back to nor recommend to someone

Yelp
It's gone. BUT if you want great pizza then go to Two Guys. If you want unique deluxe pizza then Giant Rock. You want really shitty pizza? Then dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Ceaser, etc etc. Sad to see the loss of yet another locally owned business. But no need to be sad, I'm sure there'll be a dollar general there before too long...

Yelp
Humongous size pizza at unbelievable price. Best of all, it's delicious. We also love their salad (sorry forgot what we ordered). Definitely a must go every time we head to Joshua Trees national park!

Yelp
Seems their reviews have been taking a beating lately but I had my first experience tonight and have nothing to complain about... I called at 8:50pm and got an answer right away from Jacob, who confirmed that they had pizza by the slices ready to go. When I arrived, there were pepperoni, plain, David Bowie, vegan and Greek pies ready. I went with a slice of plain (4/5), pepperoni (5/5) and Greek (10/5)...no kidding, the Greek slice was absolutely delicious with such fresh tasting veggies and generous portions of each topping plus plenty of yummy cheese with a well proportioned crust to hold it all. The establishment itself looks like it's under renovation or something so I don't know that dining in is an option and I can't speak for day time operations but I was in and out with my delicious slices to go in under 20 minutes for a total of $13 and a pleasant customer service experience. I feel a lot of locals are real harsh with their own local eateries rather than being appreciative of the few gems that exist in this area. Coming from the tri-state area, I came to get pizza and that's what I got. All the one star reviews over long waits and "poor customer service" are very exaggerated. If you're looking for solid handmade in-house pizzas with young employees that would much rather be elsewhere but are nice enough to be working at all in times where no one wants to work, this is the spot. If you want all the frills and thrills of an ~Italian eatery~ that'll wait on you hand and foot, go down the hill.

Yelp
Ambiance is severely lacking at the new pie for the people location. It doesn't make you want to stay and eat in. There isn't much choice for drinks, and the pizza can be hit and miss...if you happen to get this place when they're open! Is it me or are they entirely on their own schedule no matter what the hours say? If you do come, the David Bowie is good...otherwise it's a pass

Yelp
Why did they close permanently?! I am SO SAD! Hands down the best pizza in JT! The pies were super unique and delicious! We make three trips to JT every year for THIS place. Super depressing. Bye Pie for the People. You were the best! Please come back!

Yelp
Great pizza; I miss there good pizza pie. No other place in town as good. Reminds me of New York City where they have the best pizza in the world. So long Pie For the People. Mike Summers

Yelp
Pros: order the ricotta with the garlic rolls, you will be in heaven, next time I would forgo a pizza just for those rolled WOW! I also ordered the salad and it was delicious, my friends and hubby loved their pizza. Cons: they close early, but it is the middle of nowhere, so you can expect city times, so get there early!

Yelp
Don't judge a book by its cover. Stopped here to grab some pizza to take into Joshua Tree for a night of Stargazing. They allowed to order a 16 in pizza with half one pizza and half another (no extra charge). We ordered the David Bowie and KC Jones. Took about 15 minutes to prepare our pizza and upon first glance, I was a little nervous about our decision. We stopped at Walmart before heading into the park so by the time we finally got to eat our pizza about an hour had passed. Even with that the pizza we delicious. Unique and full of flavor. 5 out of 5 would recommend this place and I definitely plan on going back.

Yelp
Pie for the People is a local pizza spot that does some delicious pies. We swung by and fortunately not much of a line so we could order quickly at the cashier. There were only 2 indoor tables so it may be a bit tough in winter months, but there's more outdoor seating. We did a buffalo chicken pie and the David Bowie. The former has the good flavor of buffalo you may crave when you are looking for buffalo. David Bowie was a good mix of toppings that was pretty unique and tasty. We also got the deep-fried mushroom- would avoid it unless you want a bit of warm water in each bite. Overall good to get a decent pies in the area!

Yelp
We weren't sure if this was the right place and they didn't have the name on the sign hanging outside. There was plenty of parking. The pizza was big, the slices were huge and crust nice and thin. We order a large pepperoni pizza and paid under $30 for it. I asked if they had wings and they said no, not sure if they were out, or just didn't carry them? This is a great value for families, or large groups staying in the area.

Yelp
Pizza was AMAZING. Definitely New York style and cooked to perfection. The worker (don't know if he was the owner) was incredibly kind and helpful. Definitely will return when I'm in the area!

Yelp
Ordered pizza to go from this place for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered a "Go Westo" 16 inch which was super delicious and more than enough for two people. The crust is New York style, so fairly thin and crispy. Our order was ready for pickup in 30 minutes. We will definitely come again!

Yelp
I had been passing by this place while in Yucca Valley. It doesn't open until 3pm so at first I wasn't sure it was open for business. Later I saw people so I was curious. It was SO good! I love pizza it's my favorite "junk food" so I have had a lot. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. We had the KC Jones pie and I created a regular pepperoni with extra cheese. The garlic knots are huge. When we come back I am interested in exploring more of their vegetarian pizzas, especially the Greek. Service was friendly and quick! I placed my order through the slice app it was smooth and they listened to my notes.

Yelp
Good thin crust pizza. Inside the building is basic, and only two tables and a counter by the window. Very friendly stuff.

Yelp
Best vegan pizza I've had. We get a large every time we're in JT and eat it all weekend. Can't say much more other than it is a favorite place.

Yelp
We arrived a little after 5pm and asked for a table for two and apparently you order first and then you find a seat. Google tells you it's busier than normal, but when we arrived there weren't many people dining in. However, there were a ton of orders by phone on the wall. They told those that ordered to go that it will take about an hour, less if you didn't order the pizza and got other things like wings, pasta, and appetizers. So I figured it may take around an hour to get our food. Lindsey took our order for us. When we asked what she suggested for the wings she said she didn't know because it was only her third day. But hey, at least she was honest about it haha. So we ended up ordering the Bowie pizza 20inch ($30), one dozen black garlic parmesan chicken wings ($16) with a side of ranch ($3) and the Yelp check-in gets you a free zepoli. The wings we got were delicious and crispy. The flavor of the garlic and Parmesan were there. We didn't really need the ranch dip but it was a nice added touch. It was a safe choice but also more unique flavor that wasn't bbq. The Bowie pizza was pretty good. It did take awhile to make but we had the wings to keep us occupied. The pizza was a thin crust pizza. So thin that the crust barely raised above the layer of the pie itself. The caramelized onions mixed with the pineapple on top was a different twist. Plus the plum sauce drizzle on top was something I never expected to enjoy. FYI, the jalapeños in this pizza didn't seem very spicy at first, but it will hit you later! Especially if you have leftovers the next day. I was very surprised by this pizza in the best way. It has bacon on it and I'm not the biggest fan of bacon (I prefer sausage) but for bacon lovers out there this is for you. As for the zepoli, It was like a fried funnel cake except not in one piece but in many pieces. It had a little bit of powdered sugar on top with a caramel drizzle. Since it's crispy, I was worried that the leftovers wouldn't be as good. But just pop them in the toaster oven at 350 for a few minutes and it tastes just as good! Overall, pretty tasty. I don't know if I would have wanted to wait an hour for the pizza. Which is why I'm glad the wings came out fairly quick. If you order takeout they take your phone number and call you when it's ready for pick up. So you could easily go to the Walmart nearby and walk around until it's ready.

Yelp
We love to stop here every time we are in the area , The Caprieze Pizza will be found in no other pizza place. The have a great steady pace of customers for take out , but we love to sit and relax our sinfully delicious piz

Yelp
Never thought that I'd find some excellent New York pizza right smack in the middle of Joshua tree/Yucca valley! The inventiveness of the toppings matched with the quality of execution it's some thing rarely found at your typical West Coast pizzeria and it was exactly what we needed after a long day of climbing. Ordered over the phone on Valentine's Day and just beat the rush when I went to pick it up, since they were quoting people's new orders over an hour and a half! That said they got my pies to me perfectly hot and promptly and we were all enthralled with glorious cheesy rapture. We ordered the eloté and Buffalo soldier pizzas and though they were both incredible, the Buffalo solider was the winner for almost everyone. That being said, the eloté got extra points in my book for its ambitious flavor profile. Long story short, if you need a good pizza in or around JT, this is it!

Yelp
Absolute Garbage. I really hate leaving bad reviews and but this necessary. 1. After ordering, i was given a 1.5 hour wait which was then updated to 2 hours. 2. Nobody will answer the phone so.. you literally can't even cancel the order. No service whatsoever. Nobody answered for the entire wait of 2 hours. 3. On arrival, there was a line out the door, nobody had food, people had been waiting over 30 minutes just for a slice? There was a lady on the phone getting yelled at for good reason, you could tell she really didn't care at all. The mood was heavy in the room, everyone was frustrated and hungry. The pizza is garbage, it's gross. The bottom was black and burnt. I couldn't even eat it. The calzone, also burnt and also disgusting. It was like a bad old version of a stale flavorless costco pizza. Honestly, a slice of cardboard would have more flavor & I had to spit out a bite because it tasted so terrible. It's so disappointing. Please don't waste your time or money, this place honestly should be shut down. There's no reason for this to exist. I'm serious, it's actually gross. Not kidding, worst pizza experience i've EVER HAD. 40$ down the drain. Looks like the coyotes are eating pizza tonight.

Yelp
I've been away a few years, but just realized they no longer have that one corner spot anymore and that they moved. I always loved their pizza, the food is unique and tastes great. The vibe is good, service is never a problem. Soemtimes they can have such long waits though.
google avatar

Lucas D.

Yelp
Worst customer service and overall pizza in town. They will have you waiting over an hour for a greasy awful pizza. Go to any other place.
google avatar

Ayin E.

Yelp
Very complex rating here. BEST pie outside of NYC--hands down! You will not ever find NY pizza anywhere else on the West Coast. We think it's something in our water system here because we can't figure out their secret otherwise. However, the service staff can't get it together. It sucks because they have a multi-million-dollar product! Pizza well beyond 5 stars. But delivering their pizza is worse odds than hit-and-miss. You're average wait is no less than an hour. A weekend night? Forget it. If you want it for dinner, you might as well order it right when they open. Ha! Is it worth it? Well YES! Or it's that or Dominos.

Yelp
I have heard many things about this place prior to coming to Joshua tree so I was delighted to finally be able to have the opportunity to enjoy a nice pie! The process for ordering was pretty easy. I had to call back a few times as I was initially told there wasn't someone available to take my order. When I finally got someone, they put me on hold for about 10 minutes. Luckily, the operator was really nice and understanding and told us the food would be ready in an hour, but it ended up being closer to 45 minutes. After researching the online menu a bit, I decided to order the Go Westo Ma Pesto pizza as it had all the flavors I was looking for dinner. We decided to get the medium, but little did I know, it actually would be a large from other restaurants I am used too. I was surprised with all the flavors coming together in a single bite: the onions, pesto, and garlic really made the pizza pop! I will definitely be coming back here if I'm ever in the area again.

Yelp
Had the Ziggy star dust, it smacked. Pineapple, jalapeño, caramelized onions and plum sauce?? Mmmm

Yelp
this is one of the places where you should try it for yourself instead of judging it based on the overall rating! we came here to try their pizza and ended up using the free zepoli yelp coupon as well - the vegetarian pizza was very delicious and zepoli was hot and freshly made! this pizza place is located near the joshua tree sign so you can totally make a visit while you are visiting joshua tree. love that the two workers there were friendly too! i would visit again in the near future. food: 9/10 customer service: 9/10

Yelp
If I could do zero stars, I would. TLDR: horrible service. Waited two hours to be told our food was "given away," restaurant is run by people who "don't work here", despite seeing many people walk in/out the kitchen, and not a single table was cleared for new dine in customers. If you're really craving pizza, order to go, walk the entirety of Joshua tree National park, come back, and then your pizza might be ready (unless they forgot you). Tip: double check your food because they will mess up your order! Here's a breakdown of my night along with time stamped photos. 4:41pm- i take a pic of a dropped pizza outside. (This is how we kept track of what time we arrived) (photo attached) person at the counter seemed to keep a priority on to go orders instead of the line of people inside. we finally order our food. (One pizza, one salad, four garlic knots) Other tables are already seated inside, all waiting for pizza, some tables still have dirty dishes on them. Many people come in for to go orders. 6:00pm rolls around. We realize we had been waiting for our food for over an hour along with another family. We debate on leaving until we overhear an employee tell another customer that it usually takes around an hour and a half for pizza so we decided to wait a little longer. Yelp has some great reviews on this place so maybe it's worth the wait? And there's lots of people coming in for to go orders so this could be the best pizza despite the bad service. 6:32pm The family who ordered before us got their food, ate it, and left. Other than us and another customer, all other tables had eaten and left and now sits all the dirty dishes on them. Not one has been cleared since we got here. (Photo attached) 6:45pm we hold our breaths as employee comes out with pizza in hand and we're hoping it's ours. number five is called and it's not us. Nor is it the other table. Who's pizza is it??? Maybe ours is next? 7:00 it has officially been over two hours. boyfriend and I try to dispute the charge from the credit card- we can't. So we walk up to the register and wait for someone to come out of the kitchen. Someone finally comes out and says they'll refund us- no problem. They explain that they probably gave our food away to another table- terrible organization on their part. But where was our salad? Garlic knots? The line behind us asks the two employees to "divide and conquer the line and one of them goes "I don't even work here but I can help you at this register" Does this place have volunteers? That would explain the 8 different people walking in and out of the kitchen at various times and how not one of them could clear a table. 7:36 boyfriend and I are seated at another restaurant happily eating the food in front of us, trying to forget this pizza experience. We honestly deserved to cause a scene for the lack of service we had but we don't know their situation so we didn't. I'm surprised that there were no Karens in line that night and it's honestly mind blowing how many customers came by. "We aren't the best at what we do, we're the only one's who do what we do." - I'm glad they admit they aren't the best - and yes, you're the only ones with terrible service. But from here, there's only up!

Yelp
This wasn't our first pick of restaurants after leaving Joshua Tree Friday night but I was pleasantly surprised. We opted to dine in to help kill the time while we waited for our pizza and to enjoy the appetizers we ordered fresh. For appetizers we had the fried mozzarella and a garlic knot with the Bianca sauce. The appetizers were great, the Bianca sauce was interesting and cold- I mainly got it because I wanted to see what the Bianca sauce would have been like on a pizza but I'm still not quite sure. We ordered a large 1/2 and 1/2 pizza to share and it was huge! My 1/2 was the westo pizza and the other 1/2 was the plaza pizza with chicken instead of pepperoni or sausage. The pizza did take a bit to come out and the cook came out later and apologized- said the chicken threw him off? That's okay, we still enjoyed it and had plenty of leftovers for the rest of our weekend trip. Sitting inside did not provide us with any service so to speak and everything was ordered at the counter and no water refills ever came. I would come back and order to go next time I visit Joshua tree.

Yelp
Wanted some takeout pie to bring back to the campsite and grabbed the Casey Jones pie (minus the pepperocini). The pie itself was a thin crust and was delicious! The pie had BBQ, roasted chicken, bacon, red onion, and cheddar. The 12" was $18 and was decent for two people. We also shared the house made ricotta, which we would probably skip next time. It was a bunch of ricotta with garlic knots and hot honey, but overall unless you're a ricotta fanatic, I would skip. There was also a check in offer for some free fried dough (zuepoli). A nice touch! A+ for the pie.

Yelp
Ordered 4 large pizzas and 10 garlic knots for pick up for a group dinner. I was a bit anxious ordering with them since some of the reviewers how hard it was to get ahold of them. Also, the number listed on Yelp and their number on their website are different. I called their website number.... Two tries and it went to a voice mail line that I don't think you can leave voice mails....I'm starting to worry as this was for a group dinner and I had already taken my friends' orders.. that itself was a bit of an ordeal for 15 people. Later on the day, I tried again. Luckily, Krystal picked up. She took my pre order. I orederd Thursday for pick up Saturday evening. I voiced my concern about not being able to reach them. She personally gave me her cellphone number. On Saturday, my friends picked up the pizzas. I was able to add an additional pizza easily when I called the phone line and guess who it was Krystal.. :D Pick up was easy and pizzas were good. The garlic knotts were scrumptious too.... Yummy! The pies were huge! We had 9 adults and 6 kids. There were plenty of leftovers. Thank you so much Krystal.. you definitely deserve a bonus! But message to the owners, please invest in some type of online ordering system or get a beter system of answering your phones and voicemail.

Yelp
Our order ended up being a mixed bag of hits and misses. This is a cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating, you order at the counter and they'll give you a number. It's open seating so they'll bring the food out when it's ready. It's definitely one of the more promising looking spots in joshua tree. They have an array of pizzas, plus a few starters and salad options. They also have select slices available. It was PACKED from the moment we entered until the moment we left. The line to order was past the door the entire time. We were quoted about an hour and we were there pretty early for the evening. We decided to place the order to go and killed time walking around. Service was lacking any urgency but nice. As for our food, it was overall pretty decent. I know that ordering a salad at a pizza place is probably frowned upon but it was BAD. The garlic knots lacked much garlic flavor. The pizza was decent and the honey cinnamon knots were killer- the star of the meal. I'd rank our items individually: Cheese Pizza - 3 Garlic Knots - 2 Honey Cinnamon Knots - 5 Caeser Salad - 1 I'd return if the line wasn't so crazy and try some other pizzas.. but is it worth the craziness and the wait? Not sure.

Yelp
The people that work here are very nice and we're apologetic for being a little late with my order. No big deal so no harm no foul. The place was empty when I came in, big facility but all the rooms were blocked off by tables or tape. Kind of felt like if the lights started to flicker and then go out a horror movie would start. Maybe DEC is their off season? The pizza was better than Dominos but nothing to write home about, pizza is always good so relative to other pizza, maybe slightly above average. The BBQ chicken wings were from anorexic, crack head chickens. They were the skinniest, saddest little wings I've ever had the displeasure of eating. The sauce was a good, sweet BBQ but basically on a small chicken bone with skin on it.

Yelp
Upon the recommendation of the lovely lady tending the Ruddy's Museum in Palm Springs, we decided to give this place a try on our way back to Palm Springs from Joshua Tree Visitor Center. The shop is located right across the Joshua Tree Farmer's Market which we also visited. I read reviews of such a long wait here but I guess, we arrived in the right time when it wasn't busy. We were promptly greeted by the friendly guy in the counter. We browsed through the glass shelves to check what flavors they have for the day. Saw about 4 kinds but the guy showed us more pizzas that were underneath the counter. We decided on pepperoni pizza and strawberry mousse for dessert. What I liked about this place is that they only add cheese on top after it's been ordered. Then they put it to the oven to fully cook. This method prevents the pizza from being soggy and greasy while sitting in the counter. The mouse was perfect as dessert. It's smooth and not overly sweet which I hate in most desserts. Cold water available in the counter. Lots of inside and backyard seating. Free street parking.

Yelp
A midday meal during our Joshua Tree exploration. We'd packed lunches, but ended up leaving the park during the day to escape the sun and chill for a bit before heading back for sunset. Pie for the People is conveniently located close to the Joshua Tree Visitor Center along Hwy 62, near a bunch of shops. They have a lot of options, but we were starving and just wanted something quick and easy so opted for slices they had out already. Nothing special, but if you're in the area and need a quick bite, this is a good option. There's a cute patio in the back and it's right next to Joshua Tree Coffee Company if you need a caffeine pick-me-up.

Yelp
I make it a point to come here every single time I'm in Joshua Tree now. This was no exception. The pizza was just *chefs kiss* as ALWAYS. Introduced a couple of my pizza connoisseur friends and they all enjoyed it. Can I just say that this is probably the best tasting pizza in all of Southern California?

Yelp
They have a wide variety of freshly made New York style pizza. I was really craving this place after having walked by and smelling the delicious aroma, but I was a bit disappointed. The wait time was about an hour for our HWY 62 Revisited medium, but there wasn't enough spice/flavoring. They were generous with the toppings though! If I were to come back to JT, probably would not be my first choice. The wait is too long for mediocre pizza.

Yelp
We got the bowie pizza and chicken wings with black garlic and zuepoli. The Chicken wings where great 9/10 and I normally don't like wings but these had wonderful flavor and where done just right and they all had a fair amount of meat on them. Yummy The Zuepoli was great 8/10 not exactly sure how to describe it but the the bread was great and wish there was a little more powder on them but definitely worth it. The Bowie pizza was the star of the meal 9/10, the pizza is thin crust witch I'm not a fan but omg I'd order from here again even if it's a thin crust.

Yelp
Paid extra per topping and didn't get my pineapples They said about 20m wait - WE WAITED FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR ONE PIZZA! Nothing special about the inside. Cement Floors, little beaten down. Nothing special to say about the people or service... It's too bad because we live on the street this place is on.

Yelp
Life by garlic pizza cooked frida style in a cast iron pan. It was so good! The combination of different types of garlic with artichokes and sun dried tomatoes really hit the spot. We also tried pepperoni pizza Sicilian style. We ordered online and had pizza delivered. There was a delivery charge. But pizza arrived close to scheduled time.

Yelp
Not gonna lie- was a little concerned about ordering pizza here as it looked pretty sad as we drove by. Decided to give them a try one night and was pleasantly surprised! The pizza is really good! Good quality- thin crust and everything was fresh. They're in the process of building the restaurant out but you can order to go like we did. Give them a try! My picky kids loved it!

Yelp
The wait was longer than anticipated and the service was okay. I ordered a supreme pizza with everything on it. It was very plain. I was quite disappointed.

Yelp
Really good pizza. Super friendly service. We tried the buffalo chicken pizza and it was SO good. I wouldn't order the garlic knots again. We will definitely return to this spot when we're in the area and try some of the other pies. We were hoping to dine in and that wasn't possible because dining room was closed. Also no restroom for customers.

Yelp
So disappointed that this pizza was not good! I don't know if they normally cover their pizza in salt or if someone just messed up...but we got the large and are throwing it away. $27.00 tossed in the trash.

Yelp
We came here with high hopes given the high rating on yelp and was disappointed. Some food bloggers say that Joshua tree is a place for foodie and we haven't seen a trace of it since we arrived. We came around 8pm and the wait was 60 minutes because all of the delivery and take out order even though one can sit down right away. They can probably invest in a larger oven and do more business given the extensive wait here. The pizzas are disappointing even some people rave at the striking resemblance between New York pizza and this spot. I had a slice of the artichoke pizza because the wait was so long. It just tasted like late night pizza in lower east side of New York. Nothing special. The 14" gluten free "highway 62 revisited" pizza was even more disappointing. The dough was not fluffy (maybe the gluten free version made it even less appetizing). This particular version of pizza had way too much meat. The thick meatball on top was a bit nauseating in size that I had to remove it to make it a bit more pleasant looking. I like the pepper and mushroom but they didn't make up for the mediocre medley of meat and vegetables. Things just tasted dry. Note that the salad size is huge. Order the smaller size if it's just for 2 people. We ordered a Greek salad but it came out looking more like a green salad with iceberg lettuce with olives and sun dried tomatoes. The raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing was very sour so go light on them. Note: no wine served or allowed here. Just water or sodas served here.

Yelp
They moved recently, and are now just down the road in Yucca Valley, but still not very far from Joshua Tree. The pizza is still good, and the customer service is still friendly, but it's in a larger place now, which is still quite comfortable. I don't believe they have that a really great patio like before. It takes a while to get the pizza. It doesn't come flying out right away, but then again, they are making it from scratch, so just sit down, have a beer, and relax. It's not crazy slow either, so it's all good. I took home some of the pizza the next day, and it...well, this sounds weird, but some pizza warms up better than others? This tasted fantastic the next day. And hey, that's quite a bonus in a pizza, isn't it? The breakfast of champions.
