15 Places to Buy To-Go Pie Around D.C. | Eater DC

"Open for more than 30 years in Vienna, this bakery has sweet and savory cravings covered, and it ships nationwide. Choose a whole fruit pie (French apple, peach, berry) or pick from a large selection of savory options like chicken pot pie, shepherd’s pie, and a variety of quiches."

Google
Ordered 3 pies from here because we were told that this shop is a local favorite but we were extremely disappointed with the execution of the pies. The shepherd’s pie was bland. The recipe itself was alright but it needed salt. The French apple pie was almost underbaked yet the crumble topping was already brown. Despite us baking it twice to reheat before serving, the crumble and crust were almost slimy and doughy. Additionally, we got apple core, with seeds, and the stems of the apple in our pie. Glad to see that real whole apples were used but there was absolutely no quality control. Overall flavor was alright. The key lime pie was the best of the 3 but still underwhelming. The crust was not made from graham crackers like it’s supposed to but that’s okay, I was willing to look past that. But yet again the crust was flavorless and reeked of a taste as if it was old. The “key lime” filling was a standard lime custard but it was clear that actual key limes were not used. (I am a little picky when it comes to key lime pie since I grew up in the Florida keys) I understand that purchasing pies during the holiday season would be difficult due to high demand but every single pie we got had issues and the service was not any better. I did not order from the holiday menu but rather the regular menu. When I got there to pick it up the food, the lady was extremely annoyed and aggressive towards me telling me, not once but twice, that I needed to have ordered off of the holiday menu during the holiday time… like okay…then maybe don’t have the regular menu/shop button open as an option too. How was I supposed to know that it was a requirement to order from a specific menu. Needless to say we won’t be returning. I wanted to love this local pie shop and I had high hopes but am extremely disappointed.

Google
Stopped by on Christmas Eve to grab a quiche for Christmas breakfast and a shepherds pie for Xmas dinner. Went to heat up the quiche Lorraine and there was I’m guessing a pumpkin pie. Annoyed would be an understatement

Google
Got a chocolate pie from them and it was great. Filling was good and the crust was impressive. Exactly what we were looking for!

Google
A small shop that serves pies and some other baked goods. The price point is on the higher side; however, they do sell a quality product. The two slices are key lime and peach blackberry and the tow pies are lemon chess and apple. The total for all of these was about $80.

Google
Chicken pot pie is an old school guilty pleasure that I don’t normally seek out. But I decided to go high end for my birthday dinner and order one from Pie Gourmet. It was expensive, but I thought it was worth it to get a quality pie. The recipe was very good, but the pie was all filling and almost no chicken. I had 2 fairly large slices with no chicken in it at all. For that price, I felt ripped off. There should have been 3 times the amount of meat. I paid over $30 for a gravy pie. You have a great recipe, but your frugalness rips off customers for the price you charge. Totally not worth the money.

Google
I have visited twice in the past couple of months to get fruit pies to take to family. I ordered a small apple pie the first time and a small cherry pie and a small apple pie the second time. I actually got a large apple when I picked up my pies since they ran out of small apple pies for whatever reason (my gain — the large had a filling three inches high). Both pies have a flaky crust that were not overly buttery or salty for my taste. Both pies had fillings that were true to the fruit without being overly sweet similar to other reviews. I would be curious to try other flavors like blackberry peach in the summer and maybe even a couple of savory pies like the chicken and shepherd’s. Staff struck me as efficient and helpful in both of my experiences. Prices seem consistent with bakeries in the Vienna area. I would return if I had a bakery pie fix that needed satisfying.

Daniel L.

Google
Got a Peach Apple and a Turkey Pot Pie. Both were excellent! The crusts are delicate and flakey, not greasy. We enjoyed them both too quickly to think about pictures, but will be back!

Google
Order here every year without an issue. This year I called ahead of time to order two pies and was told they can’t do special orders and to just walk in the day before thanksgiving to get the pie I want. “We’ll have plenty of pies” is what I was told. I walked in and they did NOT have the pie I had asked for available and told me all of that type of pie were ordered in advance. Why was I told otherwise then? Extremely frustrating experience.

James G.

Yelp
Consistent for years. Chicken pot pie is awesome. Peach and raspberry a go to for fruit pies Trie the rugelach.

Yelp
Cute little pies here. I ordered the silk pie for a work event, it was pretty good but definitely needs to stay refrigerated at all times or else it turns into a mushy mess. It was pretty much pudding inside of a pie crust, topped with whipped cream.

Yelp
This is my second bad experience with Pie Gourmet, and I can't in good conscience recommend them. If you deal with them, even in writing, there is a high chance they will mess up your order. The first time, I ordered a gluten free pecan pie and stopped in to pick it up on the way to a holiday party. I was hugely pregnant and they said they had no gluten free pies even though they had my order. They did t make it and couldn't find it. I left in tears. Now I am in with an order. They did not have what I placed online due to the holiday menu - totally fine. When I spoke to an employee on the phone, I switched my order to pumpkin and made sure the pickup date was today. Well, nothing got changed on the order. And they are taking walk in orders but refused to sell me a pecan or pumpkin pie even though I already paid for it. So again leaving empty handed despite paying for pies. Honestly, go anywhere else. It's not worth it. The owner will blame you and refuse to help. There are great pies elsewhere in the area. No desire to help customers or admit that maybe someone on their team made a mistake. I can't believe I'm walking away again with no pies. And I do have the email showing no pickup date listed, so convenient for them to blame the customer when their system is wrong.

Yelp
Now, I'm not one of these folks who write lots of reviews, you either have to really screw up or do really well. In this case it was the latter, and let me explain the situation. My wife's birthday was fast approaching and I knew she loved carrot cake, we had come to Pie Gourmet before for other goodies and I wanted to have them make her cake. You may have astutely noticed that cake and pie are different. So, I asked if they made carrot cake, and they did but not all the time. So I begged if they would for her birthday and they agreed. I picked the cake up and it was perfect. Well, perfect is an understatement. Let me explain the depth and complexity of this cake. It's heavy, but right below that line where it becomes too dense and in that sweet spot when you know it's going to be amazing but not that it will form into a 50lb lead weight in your stomach. It was incredibly moist, and decadent. The carrot and spices were in perfect balance, leaving that little bit of crunch from the carrot and the little bit of nuts included added just that little extra crunch. The base of the cake had this perfect little crisp too it, not too crispy but just a nice light caramelization of the sugar forming into a subtle crunchy texture, just amazing. The icing on carrot cake can often be too sweet or too rich, not here, it was a perfect balance. If I am lucky enough to know the day of my death, then I will request this cake, so that I can experience heaven prior to passing. 10000/10 would try again(daily)..... I'm actually glad they don't make it daily or I'd be broke outside of the store asking for change to get another hit of the cake, homeless, and strung out on carrot cake.

Yelp
I ordered two gluten free pies for an event last week. The order process was easy (they just needed 24+ hrs notice), pies were ready on time, and they were tasty pies. The apple pie was good, but the chocolate pecan pie was raved about by many that night. I will definitely order more pies from Pie Gourmet.

Yelp
There is a huge assortment of fruit pies, cream pies, savory pies in refrigerated case, fruit breads, cookies. And they deliver. Parking can be an issue

Yelp
Definitely is not my go to pie shop. We typically will drive out to mom's apple pies in Leesburg. My partner loves pie so much, anytime he sees a pie shop he will stop in and try it out. The first time he went here was two weeks ago. He brought me home their chocolate pie and also their Nutella donuts. The donuts were actuallly really good but the chocolate pie was the worst chocolate pie I've had and I think it's pretty hard to mess up chocolate pie. The pie crust was good but the chocolate filling and whipped cream on top were awful. Today he stopped by again to give them another try and I declined when he asked if I wanted anything. He did bring home a pot pie for dinner and I was curious to try it. He made it in the oven and told me the one I make is better. This pie was almost $30 so I think we both had higher expectations. The chicken inside was touch and hard to chew. I think again the pie crust was good but inside lacked flavor.

Yelp
Great selection of wonderful pastries at a reasonable price. Banana cream and the French silk is amazing.

Alex L.

Yelp
This place has terrible service. It can't even deliver an order to the correct address.
google avatar

Maitrayee D.

Yelp
Had ordered two types of pie Banana and Pecan pie. Both were tasty .Banana cream crust was underbaked. Banana cream had too much of cream. It was tasty . Loved the pecan pie too . Generous amount of pecans . If you heat it up it tastes very good.

Yelp
This place was recommended on a FB group that we frequent so thought we'd give it a shot. Drove 30 minutes to Vienna. We were underwhelmed by the shop itself. Inside is well stocked with products. The young man who helped us was very attentive. We ordered a whole French Silk pie. To say this pie was awful is an understatement. The whipped cream was flavorless, the filling tasted odd and the crust had weird chunks in it. All 3 people in our family thought this pie was terrible. The worst part was we paid $35. ‍ Ridiculously overpriced and so disappointing. We learned 2 things today... don't trust FB recommendations and don't get the French Silk pie from The Pie Gourmet. The Marie Calendar frozen pie from Giant is phenomenally better and half the price.

Yelp
I ordered an apple pie online for pick-up the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. There's only one line, regardless if you're picking up or ordering at the counter, and it moves slowly. It took me about 25-30 minutes to pick up my order, which was longer than expected, but they had a bunch of people working so I didn't mind! As for the pie, it was pretty good. The pie crust is buttery and not sweet. The filling is also not too sweet and the apple chunks are large, which makes heating it up in the oven take forever. I would come back since there are so many options!

Yelp
Maybe they had a bad day but we got another cherry pie yesterday and the filling is very tight and gelatinous. So sad because the cherries are tart and delicious but it's so dry I won't eat it.

Yelp
Love this place!! I had a slice of the blackberry peach and it was amazing. Will definitely be bringing it to my next dinner party

Esther W.

Yelp
This place isn't what it used to be. I visited today to get a couple of pies. The service was mediocre at best. The staff wasn't rude, but they did not seem inclined to be helpful. I got a chocolate cream pie and it doesn't taste any different than the chocolate cream pie from Walmart. The difference is I paid $7.95 for one slice from Pie Gourmet.

Yelp
It's been around 20 years since the last time I stepped into Pie Gourmet. Based off a recommendation from a friend of a friend I had to try to French Silk Pie. The result was a pretty solid pie, the filling is nice and not too heavy. Crust is flaky and good, the whipped topping is a bit of a miss, but I appreciate that it's not too sugary. Also ordered a Chicken Pot Pie for takeaway which I just ate. Would absolutely recommend the Chicken or Turkey pot pie for a quick dinner. It's seasoned very nicely and very filling. A little on the expensive side (same with the French Silk) but it fed two people with enough for leftovers. Next time I'm in Vienna I'm probably going to drop by to try the Key Lime.

Yelp
My mother in law special ordered 2 pies for thanksgiving- one spinach cheese pie and one zucchini mushroom pie. The reason I'm knocking off two stars is because they put chicken in the spinach pie. Not only is this not the one from the website the package said it was regular spinach pie. I was so bummed bc I gave up land animals for climate change and health concerns 5 years ago and was looking forward to this I still gave a 3 bc the zucchini mushroom pie that's the rest of the family ordered was delicious. It's a big mistake to put meat in a pie that someone ordered without it hence the low star rating. Would recommend but they need to be more careful with their orders.

Yelp
Excellent pie with tons of options. Ordering online was easy. I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
OMG....our wonderful neighbors gifted us an apple peach crumble pie for Christmas. Don't know what we did do deserve such a delicious treat, but we're fans! Less than 24 hours and my husband and I haven't stopped eating from this huge baked dessert. I love the light crumble toppings with the toasted almonds. It's the right amount of sweetness. They're getting 5-stars purely on taste. I can't say much about anything else as we have yet to experience their customer service or ambience of the place. When we stop by and try out other pies, I'll send an updated review.

Yelp
I have tried to like this place, which is convenient for me, but it's just too inconsistent. An apples & peaches pie was just fine (if expensive). A pecan pie was entirely forgettable. And a lemon chess pie I bought was just bad--it had a weird artificial after-taste, to the point that I threw the whole thing into the trash, and at twenty-seven bucks for a small pie, I wasn't happy about that. The place always looks messy and not very clean; more like the back room of a bakery. I will not be going back.

Michelle W.

Yelp
I'd give 3.5 stars. My husband and I tried the chocolate pie and the pecan pie today. The pecan pie is not overly sweet which is great for me, but it tasted a tad dried out. The chocolate pie was ok, not too sweet. The crust on both pies crumbled instead of flaking, not sure if it was overworked. I'd like to try some other pies but they don't always sell pie by the slice. They have some miscellaneous cookies and other baked goods for sale as well, the peanut butter chocolate kiss cookies were pretty good.

Yelp
Delicious gourmet pies, quiche, and lasagna - bursting with flavor! While my hubby and I aren't big on pies, we licked the trays clean! The Spinach Artichoke Quiche is quite creamy and reminds me of a Spinach Artichoke dip with a nice flaky crispy crust. It has a spicy red pepper kick! The Veggie Lasagna is hands-down my favorite loaded up with veggies - broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, red peppers, zucchini, onions, tomatoes oozing with creamy mozzarella and rich ricotta cheese. Your daily serving of veggies wrapped up in a delicious meal! The Chicken Pot Pie is finger-lickin' good will take my hubby's word on it! The plain Cheesecake is so rich, creamy, and a bit dense! The Small pies are surprisingly quite large and filling, while the Large is more like XL. Perfect for sharing! The pies aren't always available in both sizes, there's usually more variety on the weekdays. The cozy shop gets crowded on Fridays late afternoons/evenings and over the weekends, so weekdays are your safest best and to get your pick of the pies! My biggest qualm, hence 4 stars is the highly disorganized and cavalier staff. The workers at the store are a bit snippy and curt, not the friendliest. They carelessly forgot to engrave my hubby's Father's Day cake even after I reminded them to make a note of it. Delivery is super inconvenient with no advance notice. If you're not glued to your phone, you'll miss your order! The delivery guy left when I didn't pick-up my phone. After a round of phone tag, he returned with the unengraved cheesecake. I don't understand why there's an email or text notification or a window to schedule the delivery. Delivery was disappointing and not worth the inconvenience! If you're looking for a night off or two from cooking and craving scrumptious pies, Pie Gourmet truly delivers on its name! Just skip the delivery!

Yelp
NO STARS to Pie Gourmet's proprietor at 507 Maple Ave W. Vienna, VA 22180. I have spent decades in the Vienna region and have had pies at your place before. Due to my active military status, I relocated out of state approximately three years ago. I had the good fortune to come back here. I wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving with my church friends by buying the pecan pie and apple cranberry pie for our church's Thanksgiving dinner on November 24. To order some pies for pick-up on November 24, I stopped by the store on November 3, 2024. After taking my order, a young man told me he didn't know how to apply the military discount and informed me that he would call me back the next day. Fast forward to this morning, 11-24-24. I went with my son to pick up my order around 1030 a.m. The store was bustling with employees and customers alike. I waited in line until an employee called me up to the counter. I gave her my name. She looked at a pad of paper and said that there were three pies and that I did not pay for them. I informed this employee (a Hispanic woman) that I paid by credit for my order. She looked perplexed and asked whom I spoke with on 11-4-2024. I recalled it was a woman, not the name. She proceeded to ask me for the credit card that I used to make the purchase. She found the charge that was placed on 11-4-2024 for two pies. She said that this did not match the paper order on 11-3-2024. I explained what happened when I came into the store on 11-3-2024 and spoke to the young man working then. She stated that she remembered talking to the young man and instructed him not to apply the military discount. This Hispanic woman kept on arguing with me that the order taken on 11-3-2024 by the young man was different from the order taken on 11-4-2024 (charged to my credit card/paid). I repeatedly asked for the two pies that I was charged. She said that she could not provide a refund as well. Twenty minutes had passed since I entered the store, and I was late to my church service. By now, I was the only customer, and there were many employees in the back and staring/listening to the discussion that became heated between myself and the Hispanic woman. She found out that the employee who assisted me on 11-4-2024 was named Agnes. I asked for the Hispanic woman's name, and she adamantly refused to provide that to me multiple times. I also asked for the owner's name, and she again refused to provide this information and told me to go to the website. A Hispanic gentleman employee was stepping into assisting me, and the Hispanic woman instructed him not to help me. While he was trying to resolve the situation by providing me the pies that I was charged, she accused me of stealing pies, as she claimed that I already picked up the pies that I ordered for pick today, 11-24-24. On numerous occasions, I responded that they had not picked up my order as I scheduled this morning, 11/24/24, for pick up. She further insulted me by saying that I should go to church and find repentance for stealing. The accusations kept on coming. She further threatened me that I would not be welcomed back in the store to purchase any items, as she would remember my face. No other employee from Pie Gourmet seemed to help, except for the young Spanish gentleman. When I asked for the receipt from the Spanish gentleman, the Spanish woman employee had the audacity to order him not to print it out for me. Her toxic attitude and ill manners seem to affect your other employees there. For instance, she even got Agnes to tell me that I should pray to God for forgiveness when I got to my church (shaking her head as to say "shame on me"). Your store's complete lack of respect, let alone customer service, disgusted me. I support small, local businesses, so it's a shame that you no longer have my business. I'm not going to be able to say anything good about your store. It goes beyond pie. Having someone treat me badly in front of my own son made me feel incredibly sad and disappointed. She openly called me a liar and a thief. This employee should at least apologize to me. Her actions are very unacceptable. It seems that your whole workforce, in collusion, exhibits the same disregard for human decency and dignity. Her behavior is absolutely unacceptable. It appears that your entire staff, by complicity, bears the same neglect for proper decency and respect for individuals. I submitted this to shop@pie.gourmet.com on 11.24.24 and have yet to receive a response or hearback from the owner. Given this, it appears that they do not really care about such things as customer service, as they are still making profits and still selling their pies. They fail to comprehend that it is beyond the pecan, apple, and banana pies during the holiday season, if you will, but it is more about the human spirit and service to building up the community of Vienna with respect, dignity, and kindness. Hope you do not experience type of abusive treatment at your next visit there.

Yelp
Can't speak on the savory pies (yet!) but highly recommend their fruit pies. We had their French Apple, Cherry, Peach-Raspberry served in place of cake at our wedding. Everyone raved about how delicious they were. Perfectly tart and not overly sweet. The crumble on the French Apple and Peach-Raspberry is the perfect crunchy bit of each bite. Excellent with a hot cup of coffee or tea.

Yelp
For my family Thanksgiving dinner, we decided to try their Pumpkin Pie for the first time. I was sent to Pie Gourmet early morning of day before Thanksgiving to pick up a pie. When I got there a little before 8am, there were already 20 people waiting in line outside the store. I waited for 10 minutes or so, and when I got inside, I saw so many boxes of pies stick up everywhere in the small space. There were many boxes with "Pecan" and "Pump" written on them and I felt I should buy not only "Pump" but also "Pecan". So I bought one of each. As a result, my family really enjoyed the Pecan Pie. The Pumpkin Pie was really really good, but the Pecan was great. I will probably not wait to eat those again until the next Thanksgiving. No wonder there was a long line.

Yelp
If there's one shop for whom I have pies only for, which leaves me with a warm filling inside, and occu-pies my thoughts and whom I crust will bring me comfort in these trying times, it's The Pie Gourmet. I'm partial to the fruit pies (especially the raspberry peach) but both the sweet and savory options are surefire crowd pleasers at any potluck or holiday meal.

Yelp
Home made. Everyday. It's worth it. Get this pie! They have a variety of pies and other selections to choose from, meaning not just pies! Check this place out!!

Garth C.

Yelp
Amazing pies!!!! Fruit is so fresh and tasty. Crust is buttery and flaky.....you will not taste a better pie.

Yelp
The Pie Gourmet is lacking in the warm, cozy grandma aesthetic that I would expect from a local pie shop but DANG do they know how to make a pie! First off savory. We stopped in searching for a St. Patrick's Day shepherds pie but they were completely sold out. We settled for a chicken pot pie instead and have no regrets at all. This pie was stuffed to the brim with tender all-white meat chicken, veggies and a delicious and flavorful roux to hold it all together. It definitely throws Marie Callender out of water. Since it was St. Patrick's Day, my daughter and I couldn't resist picking up a green banana cream pie as well. The crust was flaky, the puddingy insides satisfying and it was all around a great way to end our meal. For comfort food, look no further than Pie Gourmet! I am going to keep this in my back pocket as a gift to drop off to new parents or neighbors. Pro-Tip: They ship nationwide Pro-Tip #2: If you are lucky enough to catch one of their frozen pies, they sell them at 50% off the regular sticker price.

Yelp
The pies here are on the pricier side but well worth it. I've tried pecan and apple pies - both were delicious. I'd recommend try a slice or even getting a whole pie to share with loved ones.
google avatar

Puria D.

Yelp
Pies and customer service are great. I get that it's the holiday season but why would I order pies in advance just to stand in line for 2 hrs? I bought two pies a week before Thanksgiving for pickup and didn't expect a mile long line when I arrived. Assuming it was for those last minute holiday procrastinators I drove by and walked in just to ask if the line was for pickup or for orders. Was screamed "you can't cut in line" by some elderly Vienna natives who attempted to keep order. Unfortunately, it's true: even if you order in advance you still have to wait in line over an hour to pickup your pie. One thing I don't do is wait in a line so my order was cancelled....

Yelp
Got a couple of their pies from a friend and we absolutely loved them! We had the vegetarian vegetable pie and the apple pie and enjoyed it very much. It took us a couple of weeks to finish the apple pie but I'm happy to report that it's preserved well in the fridge for at least 2 weeks.

Yelp
Very nice pies but they are a bit too sweet for me. Loved their banana pie - it's our traditional party pie.

Yelp
Excellent excellent pies!!! I found this place when looking for something different from Korean bakeries (which I love). I have ordered the apple pie and key lime a couple times and both are excellent! I have also ordered the turkey and chicken pot pies that were both lovely, my family really enjoyed them. You will easily spend $$$ on items here. That's the only downside. Great taste though.

Yelp
Wow. I wouldn't consider myself a pie person but I think I am official converted by Pie Gourmet. During times of covid, I can totally justify getting a pie for my husband and I. I can also totally justify getting a large pie to share with two friends for our first socially distanced dinner al fresco so I knew I had to up my dessert game. As we were going to be traveling across state lines for the great city of Baltimore, I knew our dessert had to be chosen wisely for the journey ahead and I am proud of myself for thinking of a pie. My oh my, what a pie. I got a strawberry rhubarb, as it's summer time and in season, and wow. The pie was delicious and dare I say, I couldn't get over how much I loved the pie crust! It was perfectly flaky, buttery, and served as a loyal vehicle for shoveling the delicious medley of strawberry and rhubarb pieces straight into my mouth. I thought fell in love with pie... and then I got home. I had gotten a banana cream pie for my husband and left it at home. I had a slice and... I knew I was in love with pie. The banana cream was fantastic and even though it seems so simple, it was perfection. I'm looking for another excuse to get a whole pie and may just have to stop by tomorrow. Don't wait on picking up a pie for yourself, yours to share if you care or not ;)

Yelp
SO disappointed! Pie Gourmet has always been my "go to" for pies. I called last Friday to order a pie for pickup Sunday. I was told I needed to "custom" order a Small Peach pie. So I did (or so I was told). They made a Large and when I arrived to pickup was told "no we only make large!". Why allow a custom order for small then? Too bad for me- had to pay for and take large which I did not want! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. There was no apology. And no offer to make me feel better - could have offered discount or to make the small pie I offered. Nothing! I will not be back!

Yelp
I love the Pie Gourmet. Delicious pies, and desserts. Awesome customer service. I sometimes give these as gifts and everyone loves them. They deliver too! Highly recommend The Pie Gourmet.

Ria P.

Yelp
I tried a slice of their apple pie, it was pretty steep at $8 a slice. I would have liked some custard served with it. It wasn't too sweet which was good, but I wasn't that impressed, staff were nice.
google avatar

Melanie W.

Yelp
No soggy bottoms here! Wow. I've tried sweet and savory and it's all good. The other thing I love is that the sweet pies aren't too sweet, so the flavor shines through.

Anita T.

Yelp
Everything from Pie Gourmet is amazing! You can never go wrong! A chicken pot pie is my go- to when I want to bring a get well meal. Just add bread and salad. Yum!

Yelp
I needed to find apple pie for my boyfriends dads birthday so, thank you yelp, found this place. I got a slice of key lime and a small apple pie, toTal came out to $28 or $29.. can't remember. I will say originally looking at the key lime i was a little unsure but the flavor of the custard is on point! I will say i am not a huge whip cream fan so that layer on top was a little too much for me. I would've liked a little less whip and maybe some grated lime rind to give it some color. Apple pie was great! Hearty slices of apple, perfect amount of filling and a good thickness of crust and flavor!

Yelp
I have gone to this bakery occasionally over the last few years. Today I bought 2 sliced cream pies. This is what I was given below. The woman who cut the pies didn't even apologize or warn me she had difficulty slicing them! I didn't see what a mess she gave me until after I left the store as they were secure in a bag.

Yelp
Food is delicious. Not too small of a bakery, but filled with a freezer full of quiches and lasagnas. The display case had so many different pies and other pastries, and bread items. I really enjoyed their coconut cream pie so good!

Yelp
What I purchased Savory and Fruit Pies. We loved the Turkey Pot and the Mixed Fruit pies but not the Zucchini & Mushroom not so much. They are very accommodating.

Yelp
Great pie shop with a variety of delicious options. We got the marble cheesecake and it was delicious. The Oreo crust was so good. Also had some banana cream pie - this was a banana lovers heaven. Would definitely return for something more savory like the chicken pot pie. Staff were nice.

Yelp
Hubby loves pies and requested a dessert table for his 40th birthday. Picked up a peach Apple and small cherry (his favorite) pies on Sunday. I was the solo customer so I was able to ask questions and the lady was so nice helping me choose the best pies to bring home. The flavors are great, cherry is not overwhelmingly tart. Apple and peach made for a hardy filling. The crusts and crumbles are also flaky and thick. Took one star off for price, 53.00 for 2 boxes is a bit much for me.

Yelp
Customer Service stinks! On some occasions, when I have called, no one answers the phone. I have been put into a 15-minute automated "hold", with no eventual answer. On subsequent calls, the person answering the phone has been discourteous, rude, and appeared to be unhappy that I called. Management needs to train the staff about how to be courteous and respectful, when interacting with PAYING customers, whether in person, or on the telephone!
