America's Absolute Best Pie Shops

"From a tiny shop in Oklahoma City’s eclectic Plaza District, I found a retro-flair bakery run by two grandmother-taught bakers, Darcy Schein and Leslie Coale-Mossman, that turns out inventive, crave-worthy pies. Bestsellers like Drunken Turtle (fudgy chocolate filling topped with salted bourbon caramel and pecans), Bird Dog Buttermilk (with a splash of Bird Dog Blackberry Whiskey), and Pineapple Millionaire (pineapple and pecan filling with whipped buttercream) showcase both tradition and creativity; the shop produces about 20,000 handmade pies a year, including frozen pies and six-inch “cutie pies.”" - Veronica Stoddart

Love this new found dessert place. They have so many choices and even offer chicken pot pies although those are a little pricey. You get a delicious slice of pie for $6 and so many choices. Definitely a must try.

I’m not kidding when I tell you this is some of the best pie in the country. The shop itself is adorable and offers so many amazing take ‘n thaw or take n’ bake options including savory casseroles and pot pies! The slice assortment was very impressive and everything I’ve tried has been EXCELLENT. I grew up eating strawberry rhubarb pies that my grandma, my mom and I would make and Pie Junkie’s rendition with a crumb topping was the best version I’ve ever tasted. It was exceptional, truly something special. Honorable mention to the birthday cake pie which is as whimsical and vanilla-y as it sounds. So stinking good! A must try when in OKC or near the Plaza District, which is such a fun destination in itself. Pie Junkie, I understand why junkie is in your name now… your pie is crack and I am hooked.

Fast service and a variety of creative pie options! This was even better than my expectations. I highly recommend the peanut butter pie, one of the best bites I've ever had for sure. I can't wait until my trip to this place tontry something else. Overall, well done!

Wanted a tasty treat on our cross county road trip from California to Chicago this place was perfect and was in a little town with stunning murals. They offered the French silk my daughter was craving and a key lime for me. They also offer savory cook at home pot pies, cheesy hashbrown casserole... wish we brought a cooler. A must stop if you get the chance and you are a pie junkie.

Had some pie prior to our lunch. My buddy and I came in for a quick bite. I had the lemon cream...deliciousness! He tried a couple and liked them all (he's a sugar fiend anyway). Great location, and the decor is cute. Super friendly and helpful folks.

Pie Junkie is a must visit!! The only drawback is limited seating. Their pies are delicious and they are one of the best you’d want to eat. I purchased the Bird Dog & Coconut Cream. Their Coconut Cream is one of the best I’ve tasted. My wife preferred the Bird Dog and yes it was tasty just not for me! I would recommend trying this place!
