Aw, man - I really wanted to like Pie Time, but, unfortunately, our experience was super lackluster...
Pie Time offers both sweet and savory pies, and there seems to be a traditional fruit, dessert, and savory hand pies that could appease anyone's taste. We actually got there a few minutes until closing and almost cried, as we were told that they were closed. However, the employee seemed to have changed their mind and stated that we could purchase frozen pies to go.
There were some inaccurate information and confusion, since we were led to believe only frozen pies were available; however, we pointed out that there were some behind the case. The employee quickly backtracked and stated that those were the last remaining ones, which ended up being the Old Fashioned Apple and the Oat Slam.
We asked if they were warm still, and the response was yes - however, they were actually cold and seemed like they were refrigerated, so I'm sure they could have been better if we had heated them up?
I'm thinking that it's best to call ahead and reserve pies or go earlier in the day to make sure you get some choices.
I am curious about their savory pies, such their Traditional Chicken Pot Pie and the Beef Bourguignon. Maybe next time?
