Great place with amazing food. The queso, aqua frescas, tacos, rice, and queso were ALL amazing. Free and easy parking were an added bonus when we were there.

Always amazing. The people are really nice. The queso is definitely worth getting and I am not a big dairy person. I usually get the hot cauliflower, hot chicken, or hot fish. It truly does not disappoint. It is also very light and does not leave you feeling sluggish and tired.

If you ever end up going here, do not leave without trying their Hot Cauliflower Taco 🌮. I liked it 10x more than my meat tacos 🌮 (shocking, I know! ). It’s really their best kept secret because most of the customers would be inclined to try the meat tacos on their first visit. The hot chicken taco 🌮 was good too. I wish the chicken pieces were slightly bigger though, as some fried batter pieces easily get included as well. Unfortunately, the pollo taco was below average for me. It wasn’t well-seasoned and I tried to compensate that with lime but didn’t help. They do have picked veggies next to their salsa station/fridge (self-served), and that adds a great deal of flavor to your tacos — so masterstroke there! I absolutely loved loved their Sopapillas (6 of them served with honey). It’s delicious and if you’re on the fence about it, it’s worth the try. The side of potatoes was good too. Parking situation is tricky, they only have a couple of spots in their lot, but you can find find street parking around. I found mine 4 blocks away in the rain, but if I looked around for 4-5 mins, I could have found a closer spot. They have a lot of seating options available and additional seating upstairs. I didn’t see any outdoor seating. This is their brand new location in East Nash, just opened a month back, and I was very excited to try them during their opening month. During my visit, I learned that they used to be a food truck and worked their way up and now have multiple locations available in Nashville. This is my local find of the month and I’m so proud of their journey and would love to keep visiting them in future and support the local business. The staff was extremely friendly. They kept the place super clean and were constantly trying to ensure our time there was enjoyable. They answered so many questions and recommended us their favorites and talked about the history of pie town tacos. I’m so thrilled to have found them and all my friends loved them too. I’ll be going there again.

Google
affordable and yummy taco spot with a very inviting seating space that spans two floors. staff was so sweet and brought my food to me since it was pretty empty when I went, thanks for making me feel so welcome!

Aww I like this place. It’s chill, very well laid out, fast, and the food is fresh. The prices are great and standard for street tacos. I like that they’re local and not a chain like bartaco but they still have the unique versions of tacos that make it specific to Nashville’s flavors. It’s a good nod to Nashville but then they use corn tortilla that aren’t dried out. I had the vegan tacos and one fish. They were all quite good and the surprising winner for me was the portabello. The agua Fresca was great too! Will be coming back now that I know it’s convenient, fast, fairly priced, fresh, and flavorful.

Google
Went for lunch tacos! They have Birria tacos on Tuesdays, def recommend. Have had the chips and queso 2x now. Staff has been super friendly both times I’ve been, service was quick, and food was great! 10/10 will go again.

We usually drive 45 minutes to an hour just to eat here—that’s how good it is. The tacos are amazing and truly the closest we’ve found to Mexico City flavors. We were also so happy to finally find Elotes made with real corn (not the sweet kind), topped with mayo, queso fresco, and just the right kick of chile piquín. And don’t skip the cauliflower tacos—they were such an unexpected (and delicious) surprise. Trust me, you’ll get hooked! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at this place. Highly recommend! 🌮🔥

Yelp
I usually Ubereat to get these tacos but I never can get a picture because I demolish every taco I've ever gotten from this place. I learned it was a woman owned business a few days ago and HAD to go in person!! The Co owner is so sweet and down to earth loved her. I recommend EVERYONE to try this place, the Steak tacos and Hot chicken tacos are to DIE for, also the way they made HOT CHICKEN into an authentic taco blows my mind. 10/10 experiences rather you Ubereat it or go in person ( the East Nashville location is so fun and bright inside)

Yelp
Had Pie town for lunch. Was very pleasantly impressed. Great Tacos! They had a Portobello mushroom taco on their daily specials menu. It was deliciously flavorful! I also had a chorizo taco, a hot fish taco , and a Al pastor. The Al pastor was my favorite. Great salsas for the tacos as well. If you live in Nashville you should treat yourself

Yelp
There are plenty of places to get tacos in this area, but Pie Town is my absolute first choice. I eat here at least once a week. My favorite taco has to be the al pastor.

Yelp
This new location served the same delicious tacos as the original site, but the decor and ambiance is definitely updated, more automated, and a bit more fancy. I visited for lunch and was pleased to find the same menu and the same great tasting food! When you walk into the restaurant, you immediately notice the clean, trim lines and the computer screens. At this location, you order your food at a kiosk that is simple and full of food pictures. Ordering was easy. Plus, there is a large menu on the front wall facing you to ensure you know all the offerings. I ordered 1 Hot Fish Taco, 1 Al Pastor Taco, 1 Carne Asada Taco, and a side of Cotija Potatoes. Everything was delicious! The chunks of perfectly fried fish were plentiful and tasty. The pineapple on the Al Pastor Taco takes the flavors over the top. And the Carne Asada was tender and perfectly seasoned. The potatoes are my favorite side, and I love that you have 2 sauces to choose from; Green is mild and Red is spicy. Staff were super friendly and all the food is delicious. This is a great place for tacos in East Nashville.

Yelp
I was immediately greeted by a super friendly woman behind the counter, who was generous with her knowledge of the menu and recommended the cotija potatoes to me, which were very yummy! I dined in their space which has a second floor for additional seating, the downstairs had a welcoming, light and airy vibe. I really appreciated the amount of vegetarian options on the menu! The tacos were good, just on the dry side. I did load up on sauce but then I had a ton of heat in addition to the dry meat. I prefer a more wet taco with juices from the meats, but that's personal preference!

Yelp
Pie town taco is delicious taco place. The tacos are delicious including the shrimp taco and hot chicken taco. I love how they have vegetarian, vegan options. I also thoroughly enjoyed their rice bowl which was vegan chorizo bowl, although one might associate vegan food with being bland, this bowl is a burst of flavor and comes with a large portion size. The chip and queso is also delicious. I was honestly taken away by surprise at how good this taco place is. It is located a little outside downtown. The service is very quick. The only challenge is the sitting is quite small, although when I visited Pie Town Taco, it was barely busy. Nevertheless, you don't want to miss Pie town Tacos.

Yelp
Portions were generous! Food arrived quickly via uber eats. They followed all instructions and everything was pretty tasty. If I'm being honest the meats and rice and potatoes lacked a lil flavor but luckily this was a delivery order so I used seasoning at home (my preference some people like not so seasoned) so idk if I would go sit down and eat but if I'm ordering to my house, I will 1000 percent order it again :) I got two different bowls. One with rice, beans, chicken, lime, pickled veggies, cheese, queso, & cilantro the other was steak, potatoes, beans, pickled veggies, cheese, queso, lime and cilantro. Once I dusted with my seasonings at home (didn't need ALOT) it was impeccable! Was a good amount of food too! I'll be back

Yelp
Another taco spot in east Nashville that is a must stop. First off support the local joints. Secondly the food here is stupid good and fresh. Order on the iPads and the food is brought out insanely fast. The queso is top tier and the hot chicken tacos are an absolute show stopper.

Yelp
The best tacos in Nashville! The hot cauliflower tacos are among the very best taco I've ever had! With legit queso and chips of course! We also tried the Al Pastor, which rocked charred pineapple and deliciousness. Support this business!

Yelp
Very good hot chicken and hot fish tacos. Carne asada was flavorful but a tad dry. Great outdoor seating and friendly service

Yelp
Easy, quick, good price for quality. I like their simpler tacos the best. Carne asada and chicken.
