Last minute choice but no problem fitting us in for a quiet Wednesday lunch. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Outside every time if it's nice. Service a little slow but good. Food great though and would go back without a second thought.

We had a wonderful meal at pier 17. The service was really exceptional, we had such a polite, friendly and cheerful waiter. He definitely made the experience. The food was really lovely. The steak was cooked to perfection; it was my first time having lobster but it tasted great. All our food was served promptly and anything extra we needed was also retrieved with speed. We were rushed out just before 2 hours into our booking, luckily we had finished our dessert about 5 mins prior. We were told the next booking was waiting. The guy was quite apologetic though and we had finished so wasn’t too bad, but something to keep in mind if you’re going on a busy Saturday. It was empty at 6pm but really started to fill up by 7:30.

I recently dined at Pier 17 Restaurant in Guernsey and was thoroughly impressed. The food was impeccable, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. The stunning waterfront view from the restaurant only added to the overall ambiance. I highly recommend Pier 17 for anyone looking for a memorable and delicious meal in Guernsey.

Here on holiday for the week, picked this place on its reviews for good seafood. NOT Disappointed. Exceptional fish cooked to perfection . We could not recommend Pier 17 highly enough. Staff attentive but not pushy , time between courses perfect . A perfect evening. Many thanks Andy Bale.

Food was delicious, my only reason for not giving 5 stars is because we were waiting for SO long for them to take our dessert order, so long that i had to go and find the waitress! At least 45 mins, the table next to us even noticed. The dessert did arrive spectacularly quick, however and they were apologetic. It was also quite busy inside -typical summer Saturday night- and we were sat outside. The food really was yummy though and I wouldn't let this experience put me off at all. The staff were outstanding up until that point.. I'm sure I will be back in the future.

Yelp
There are not many restaurants where I want to order everything on the menu. This is one of them. First of all, they are Michelin rated. A Michelin Star is awarded to restaurants offering outstanding cooking. They take into account five universal criteria: the quality of the ingredients, the harmony of flavors, the mastery of techniques, the personality of the chef as expressed through their cuisine and, just as importantly, consistency both across the entire menu and over time. At the edge of Guernsey as you come off the ship Pier 17sets. The menu is mostly locally sourced seafood, vegetables, meats and dairy. The seafood is outstanding Started with a creamy lobster bisque. This was built up and served in a large bowl. Don't expect huge chunks of lobster meat. The bisque stands on its own and has all the flavor you could want without filling you up. A perfect starter. The bread was soft and warm and served with a nice aioli and fresh creamery butter. I still can't say which I preferred but both were divine For my main I decided on a full lobster Thermidor. Cooked to perfection in a creamy mustard and cheese sauce with cream and hints of white wine. I have had lobster from all over the world: Maine, Canada, South Africa, Mexico, Ireland, England, Hong Kong, Florida, etc. this local lobster and the chef's preparation may be the very best I've ever had. It was served with arugula and a lovely little salad My wife had the Seamus Scallops which were great in their own right and a side of hand cut chips. Both were perfect We finished with local ice cream and berries They had a good selection of wines. I wasn't too sure on the whiskey and bourbon flavors and we were here half an hour before they actually opened but I had just been hit by a car so they let us in to have drinks. I polished off a few cans of Guinness An amazing meal to top off an interesting day. If you find yourself in Guernsey and want an amazing meal; Pier 17 and their warm and friendly staff receives my highest recommendation!

Yelp
The best seafood in the Channel Islands. Quiet atmosphere and excellent service. I would eat there every night if I could!

Yelp
Delicious, delicious seafood! This is one of the two seafood restaurants in Guernsey that are known to have fantastic fare. It's expensive, but the quality of what they bring out to you is amazing. We were a little upset the last time we went as our plates from dinner were cleared and then we waited half an hour before we had to remind them that we were still here, we wanted dessert... but instead of ordering we just upped and left and complained. Still, they had a large party in attendance, and they explained this but said they were sorry for dropping the ball anyway. The service will probably be good when anyone else goes and the food doubly so, so don't let this put you off!

Yelp
Fantastic people here. We had an issue that required help with local authorities and they spent close to two hours helps.

Yelp
Quick glance: + good mains, especially seafood + nice selection of wine + great view + celebrate special occasion with small group I came here for a special birthday dinner on a wintry weeknight and really enjoyed the ambiance and the food. By booking ahead of time, you can request one of the tables right by the window that lets you party look out at the pier, a bonus in the summer time. I had the crab cake to start, followed by brill for mains. The crab cake was mediocre, but the brill was beautifully cooked and tasted fresh and succulent. The food is simply cooked to bring out the fresh flavours, plated aesthetically to please both the eyes and the stomach. It is a pricey restaurant but not particularly off the mark for Guernsey. It's definitely a great place for a romantic evening or to mark a special occasion with an intimate group.
