Group Proposes Baja-Style Restaurant at Pier 33 1⁄2 Space | Eater SF

"An empty chunk of prime Embarcadero real estate managed by the Port of San Francisco, Pier 33 1/2 is the site under consideration for the new restaurant and is attractive to the developers because of nearby activity — a new cruise ship terminal, a new Alcatraz tour hub at Pier 33, and Levi’s expanding in nearby Levi’s Plaza — which Suverkrubbe believes will provide steady foot traffic." - Caleb Pershan

Love living here! The building is incredibly well-maintained, the apartments are beautiful, spacious, with considerate details, and the staff is out of this world. I’ll shout out to incredible staff members: Alison is incredible with maintenance, I put in a request and she was able to assist in under an hour, was charming, friendly, and personable with my pets, and a genuinely pleasant person to interact with. Maintenance request are tough, she made it very enjoyable and easy. Tara is simply A rockstar. Not only does she care about her tenants and genuinely connect, She’s fun, professional, and get stuff done. If you’re looking for a home where you can feel like a part of a community and enjoy beautiful Amenities on the Riverwalk, I highly recommend Pier 33.

Have lived at Pier33 for almost a year. Ideal location-restaurants, coffee shops, concerts all within walking distance. Office personnel in tune with community, active in planning resident events and responsive to resident needs. Walking the Riverwalk is my favorite morning ritual. Couldn’t have picked a better location!

Fabulous late night maintenance service by Ms. Allison last night when my refrigerator stopped working. She arrived promptly to my apartment (even though it was after 9:00pm). She was able to help me move my food to a refrigerator in a vacant apartment. She arrived on time today and a new refrigerator is installed and I am back up and "running"! Best service anywhere, ever!!

Honestly not worth the price. Beautiful idea and the apartments ARE nice! But the lady in the office ignores all your emails and there’s a bug problem. The other guy Luke is really nice and super helpful! Stars for him! The pool is nice! But I would only lease here if you are looking to engage in the apartment community otherwise it’s not worth the money. One things that I absolutely HATE is the unnecessary leaf blowing EVERY MORNING. Every morning I like to have a window or atleast my porch door open (likes it’s so nice! Why not?!) and there is leaf blowing or some kind of heavy machinery going on. Every single week if not every single day. Actually the worst part of living here I hateeeeee it.

We had a nice stay here at The Cove. The houseboat was very swanky - new and clean - and in a great location to walk into downtown Wilmington for all the things to do. Highly recommend The Cove. The staff is onsite and very attentive to anything you need. The construction on the Riverwalk is not disruptive.

We met Luke, who showed us around and secured our apartment. The location and amenities are great. Enjoying the pool, marina, river-walk, live music and theater, great restaurants, bars and shops, is all part of our routine. We don't even need a car. We've loved living here. It's clean, has great amenities, is very quiet between units, has open modern floorplans with excellent light, and private, secure parking. We had one maintenance issue in the past four months, and Scott was here in minutes to address it. Our unit is like new. Utilities are inexpensive compared to a house, and we have gained so much time without all the maintenance to worry about. Worth every penny! Thank you Pier 33.

We are so grateful for Allison! She responds quickly when we have an issue. Recently she replaced the bathroom fan and fixed our leaking toilet with great skill and efficiency. Allison is sooo friendly, kind, and professional. Her timely help makes living here so much more comfortable. Thank you, Allison!

Yelp
Ya know, I was really trying to leave it behind, but I just heard a verrry similar story to my own and after that? NO. "They said something about my check not going through and I only have a few days to give them a bank certified check." Saaaame here brother and they destroyed my ability to get a decent home for YEARS, even after I submitted a certified check for $200 more than rent of "other" fees. For what? So the billion dollar corporation can squeeze a few more bucks out of the working man in their overpriced bungalows with busted amenities? Even the judge was surprised that I had already given them a certified check over $1.5k for a 600 sqr/ft 1 bedroom with poorly finished counter tops and a lopsided balcony and a constantly breaking elevator a month earlier and three days BEFORE they even filed (as I later found out). They bold-faced lied on court documents that they had not received it when I showed up to appeal their fraudulent filing. Then they conveniently returned that check/evidence they withheld while I was in court with that judge. Unfortunately for me and verrrry conveniently for them, my information and money was stolen directly out of my bank account on the EXACT DAY I had to make a second appeal payment. Information that could've been sold byyy some sleazy slum lords with my banking info trying to cover their asses for instance. Anyways after this tore my family apart and a year of AirBnBs and a full 6 month lease downpayment I got them to email about yet ANOTHER fraudulent filing I didn't even know about that was "internally dismissed due to satisfactory payment." Because I gave them the check, they forgot, I went on vacation and then they lied that they were going to but did not file because they forgot I already paid. When I asked the regional manager of Drucker and Falk to sign her statement of fact that according to their own company records that filing was dismissed due to satisfactory payment because once filed, it cannot be removed from the court system for YEARS, I got a cease and desist. Now, because this manager had given zero indication of her unwillingness to perform this basic formality after her company ruined my life, I'm guessing her higher ups made that decision to once again cover their asses. All I have to say to that is just try me and prepare for scorched earth hellfire and brimstone because it sounds like you folks have a class action cooking already. I kept my receipts, how bout you guys for your residents' stolen money, honey? They took advantage of me because they knew I was already dealing with one scamming company, the guy my info was sold to has finally been tracked down across 3 states, who's next? NEVER let these people take advantage of you or your money, I for one, will never be letting that happen ever again.
