Pier 6 Rooftop

This place has a great view! Love the vibe up there. The servers were great, checked on us plenty. They had a nice selection of cocktails and small bites. We got the charcuterie board. It was pretty standard. But I enjoyed picking at it and sipping our drinks and looking at the sun down.

Recommended drinks, appetizers and things to do in the area. She even gave us a little history about the area. Thank you again. They are already planning to comeback on their trip ❤️

We couldn't have asked for a more breathtaking venue for our ceremony and cocktail hour. The ocean views at Pier 6 Rooftop created the perfect backdrop for our vows and first dance. Valerie Utrera was responsive, kind, and made the planning process smooth and stress-free. Everything ran on time, the setup was flawless, and the ambiance felt like a dream. Highly recommend for a beachy yet elegant celebration!

If you want to sit perched high in the sky and look out over the Atlantic, pier 6 is the place to go. The menu is simple, but the food is good. We ordered flat breads and they didn’t disappoint. The drink selection is middle of the road, but you can’t beat the view and atmosphere. They have theme nights throughout the week, and specials that add to the ambience. Would recommend once if you are visiting for a week.

We had a 10:30 PM reservation at Pier 66 Rooftop and were seated right away. Justin, the host, was amazing — warm, professional, and truly manager material. Chad was also super helpful and attentive. Some menu items were sold out, and since we’re not big drinkers, we almost left, but Justin made us feel so welcome that we stayed — and had a great time. We left after 90 minutes, spent $177 before tip, and felt it was worth it. The DJ was just okay, and the actual manager seemed disengaged, which stood out given how excellent the rest of the staff was. Overall, great service, great vibes, and we’d come back!

Didn’t eat, but had drinks. Alex was It was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is a whole vibe and you will definitely have a good time up here.

A great place to chill with a view and a light meal or beverage. Views of the ocean and pier, fun staff, cozy fire pits and seating on the rooftop of the Tru by Hilton hotel. Not just for hotel guests; locals are welcome! Plenty of parking nearby. Just take the elevator up to the rooftop and enjoy!

Love this place. You can see the water from the rooftop the drinks were good and the service was better. Love the rooftop fire pit. I'd you want to overlook the beach this is the spot.

Fun, lovely little rooftop bar that I don't have to go all the way south to downtown Fort Lauderdale for, conveniently up in Pompano by the pier. Had absolutely excellent service this evening from a gentleman whose name I regrettably did not catch, but he made great conversation and was very attentive. Food was decently good, bit pricey but it's a rooftop bar so not unexpected and not a deterrent. Drinks were good as well, the key lime martini had all the lovely elements of a key lime pie. Charcuterie board definitely came with more volume than expected, a pleasant surprise. Nice spot, great views over the pier. Will need to come back to try lunch.

Beautiful ocean views!! You don't have to be a tourist- locals welcome to drop in to the Tru by Hilton, take the elevator up to the top, and relax with a beverage and enjoy the view of the ocean. At sunset, you can see that too from one side of the roof! Service is great, the team is fun and appear to enjoy their jobs. They offer nice spreads for groups, as well as various small meals and appetizers. Pier 6 is outdoors, but there are a couple covered areas and some umbrellas. There's several seating areas with gas fire pits as well. Clean restrooms located just inside.

Best view of the beach in Pompano! This rooftop bar is above the Tru Hotel. There is a parking garage within walking distance. The handcrafted cocktails were reasonably priced and the menu had lots of options for food. Besides plenty of seating at the bar, there were small tables and comfortable couches with a fantastic view.

The only good thing about this place is the ambiance and the location, however it was empty inside and I can see why. The bartenders were rude and unfriendly when we first got there and drinks were not made correctly.Not a big deal just will not go there again.

First time here to Pier 6 upstairs at the bar yes it's lovely and a beautiful view my husband and I each had white russian very small and an order of artichoke dip with chips and the bill with the tip came to $72 which in my opinion is a bit ridiculous and we probably won't be back.

Melissa and Stan are amazing! Chicken tacos wee great and the views are amazing! I'll be on the rooftop every night that I'm here.

This place has a lot of potential because the rooftop views are absolutely beautiful. You get such a good view of the beach, and Pompano as a city. However, they are very sneaky about tacking on a service charge and don't even mention it to you when they present your bill. If I had noticed that, we would've ended up leaving double the tip on an already overpriced tab. The bartenders were a mess. The place was empty, and I can see why. On top of it all, there was someone doing cocaine in the bathroom stall next to me, and when I came out, I was surprised to see that it was one of the bartenders that was serving me! Avoid this place !

I enjoyed my time at the rooftop. The views of the ocean is extraordinary; it's a very nice large, open space. I had the shrimp tacos which I enjoyed. They have happy hour specials as well; and all day Thursday happy hour pricing. I will go back. The service was fine.

I heard there was a nice rooftop bar in Pompano and I could never figure out where it was. Tonight, while My husband and I were walking on the pier, 2 nice girls asked if we wanted free drinks. Well that's a no brainer! It's on the roof of the Home2Suite Hilton Hotel which is a block off the beach on NE 2nd and A1A. There's a big parking garage right next door and you don't need to be a hotel guest to go upstairs. The rooftop is big with 2 bars and plenty of seating. Some seating areas have fireplaces and the views are beautiful. A nice place to watch the sunset. I see people complaining about prices, but I have to admit... that's the cost of a cocktail these days. Happy hour is every day from 3-6 and some nights after 6 there's live music. Service is great. We met Kel and Rachel who went out of their way to make sure we had great drinks and a great time. It's a nice place to relax, chill and take in the beautiful ocean view.

It was a beautiful space that looked out into the water. It was pretty pricey honestly and didn't have a lot of good food choices for them to be that pricey! The service was okay. It was one bartender who acted like I didn't exist but everyone else was cool!

Margaritas were not my favorite. The tacos were fine. Desserts are delicious. Service is good. I did write 3 stars at first but the view I will say made it an easy 4 stars.

Immaculate vibes. Beautiful view, heavenly spot. Open tables available on both days that we visited. Great live music, delicious drinks and food. When I return to Pompano this spot is number one on my list. Piña Colada, flat breads and artichoke dip was delicious. Would recommend. Service was friendly and good.

I stayed here in June of 2024 for a body positive event. The staff, particualry the staff on the roof top bar were very rude. It was clear they did not welcome bigger people. I was charged $63.75 for one drink. I was 3 mins late to close out my tab and was told "it's closed already" I was not provided a receipt nor did I sign for this. I have been fighting with the event manager, Maria to take care of this all while she told me it hand been handled but what she meant is the charges stand. I completley feel disregarded and disrespected due to my size.

Great views and food. It's on the top floor of the Hilton with self seating all over. Overlooks the entire boardwalk and you can see the sunset.

Small and intimate rooftop for a perfect view of the sunset. * Casual attire or you can dress up * Appetizers only * Drinks were pretty good * Views were breathtaking at sunset * Appetizers were really good. I personally enjoyed the spinach dip very much. The BBQ pizza was a big hit as well. I couldn't stop the boys before my photo lol (sorry) will be coming back, very happy this is in my neighborhood, pricing was also very reasonable. * I don't recall hearing music, that's be a good touch * I wasn't impressed by the food, drinks or staff. The view impressed me and the set up of the rooftop

It's free to visit and enjoy the ocean view and sunset breezes. It's on top of Home2Suite Hotel. Pros: parking garage, open to public, great views Cons: expensive drinks filled over full glass of ice and little alcohol. Music was only turned up when it got dark. Beautiful date spot.

Drinks were good and bartenders attentive. One thing to note is that a service charge is added to the price of the already pricy drinks. Yes, it does indicate in small print at the bottom of the menu that an 18% gratuity is added to each check--but if you are not looking at a menu for a drink, you wouldn't know that. I feel like that is a disservice to both the bartender and the customer. The view is fantastic and the ambience is lovely. Didn't try the food but didn't hear anyone complain. Would definitely go back.

Pompano Beach is definitely up and coming on the scene. They're making a lot of additions and wanting to pull people in. Parking is available pretty easy next door in the parking garage. I came here with some friends a little before sunset for a birthday. Plenty of seating available and we were able to snag chairs around a fire pit which one of the staff turned on for us. The servers was all very nice and helpful. They knew their stuff. I ordered the painkiller drink which had rum, coconut, pineapple, and a little nutmeg. It was good but nothing to rave about. It did feel like a strong pour though which I can appreciate. I wished there a little bit more of the coconut flavor to it but I'd probably still order it again if I were to go back. My husband and I also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. I'm currently not able to eat gluten and was advised at the time of ordering that the tortilla chips, even though they are corn, we're not gluten free. So they were able to bring me out some carrots and celery for me. The dip was pretty standard. Overall, I'd say you don't come to Pier 6 for the food, you come here for the view and drinks. It is a great view and we don't have anything quite like this in the area.

Great location. Had happy hour Sunday. The band playwd and it was a gorgeous day to be uptop. I highly recommend this spot for drinks, snacks, and just fun date. Park in the hotel and take elevator to rooftop.

I don't recommend. Way overpriced. Menu is very limited. Food is mediocre. Kids all over the dance floor.

The roof top is great and provides a nice view. The prices were very high and the music made conversation impossible...even in the section completely away from the band. It was the sort of place I would want to love but just couldn't. The beach bar across the street is a much better option...better food, better prices, and a better view. I would only recommend if you are staying in the hotel and don't want to leave the property.

A cozy spot for a late night drink or a sunset dinner. The service and bartenders made you feel at home! I would definitely go back

We came solely for happy hour and it was pretty busy. It took sometime for the bartender to get to us so we ordered two mojitos right away. They were ok. Looking at the menu the food all seemed pricey and portioned really small. We wouldn't exactly say we are in a rush to go back there. But the ambiance and view were nice.

This was my second trip to Pompano Beach, and one of the reasons for the return visit was Pier 6 Rooftop Bar/Restaurant. The ambiance is amazing, beautiful views, firepits, great small plates, and wonderful service. They aren't open past 10pm during the week, 11pm on weekends I believe - I'd love a little later, for when you are on vacation, you don't typically need to make an early night of it. There are other places around that are open later if need be. The servers were amazing, and we enjoyed our 4 day trip there that we visited here 3 separate times.

Uhm... ok. It's a really nice idea. The view is beautiful for sure. The prices for a drink are ridiculous. We came here last night for the first time to try it out. Very disappointed. We felt like we walked into a retirement nursing home. The music SUCKED. They had a live band playing which was HORRIBLE! The location is very nice but management definitely needs to change a few things if they wish to bring in more people. It was pretty empty to be a rooftop bar. Definitely nothing like Miami or Fort Lauderdale rooftop bars. So if you are looking to listen to upbeat music while enjoying the view and a younger crowd this is not the place. We will definitely not return for night outings. Save yourself the trip and take the extra drive to Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Pompano Beach is constructing so much which is great. I was excited but it seems they are aiming all these locations for geriatrics (grandma/grandpa) not a younger crowd (30s/40s). Very disappointing.

I have friends in Pompano Beach so I sometimes hang out here. My friends took me here yesterday. I'm a big fan of the pompano beach, lauderdale by the sea area as I think it's super chill. This is on the top floor of a hotel and it was constructed in a certain way where you can enjoy the view from like 4 different directions. This place has huge potential for socializing, events, chilling out etc. I only had a diet coke and a pinata colada which was inexpensive for South Florida at like $10 to $12 if I recall correctly. It was busy at 6pm and the staff was great and fast. Pretty good crowd upscale crowd too. Next time I go I'll spend more time and actually drink a few glasses of wine. Random observation: the area is rife with tiki bars that have some of the same crowd every night ...here it's a different group of people who are people who live nearby, some people on vacation and people checking it out from 10 miles away. I know this from talking to the people who are there

What a fantastic space on the rooftop of the Home2 suites hotel! Incredible views of the ocean, great bar and wonderful seating areas.

Beautiful new spot with a scenic ocean view! We stopped in on a Friday evening. The drinks were grade A and fairly priced (around $10 each) and the views were brilliant! Im only giving 4/5 stars because the ambiance could definitely be kicked up a notch (I'd love some background music & fairy lights!) Nonetheless, there was ample parking at the beach and I always appreciate a well made "Skinny Margarita"!

If you're staying at the hotel it's totally worth it. They make good drinks but honestly the stars are so low because literally the service is awful. We sat there for like 30 minutes waiting for a server to even address us - this happened BOTH times we went. We ended up just getting up and going to the bar each time so we could get drinks.

Beautiful views of the ocean from this rooftop. I was surprised at the size of the space; there's tons of seating, so I can't imagine this place ever being completely packed. Last night, it was crowded, but there was lots of room to move around. We just enjoyed drinks, which are reasonably priced for both a hotel and a rooftop. The food menu looked okay, but I had already eaten. This is probably a place where I'd stick to guacamole or a similar app. They do have happy hour, so check it out during the week!

Rooftops are the new night life . Great spot to chill, hang out, without being too pretentious. The views are great here right by the beach only a walk away , parking is in the garage so it would've been nice to have parking onsite at the hotel. The rooftop is much more spacious than I thought with lots of seating both high tops tables, booths and reserved areas . There was an event going on so it only consumed a quarter of the space and you could here music playing . I wish on weekend here was music line up at least on Friday and Saturday as I know they have music playing Wednesday's & Sundays . The drinks were great I recommend the blood orange sunset margarita although it could be a tad stronger , and the pier 6 tropical mule very tasty drinks all around $11 each . We only ordered the pretzel bites and they were pretty tasty and the cheese dipping sauce was pretty hot . Overall would come back here again if you want a laid back vibe, some drinks, talk and chill with company .

Service from the bar tenders and waitresses (especially Astoria!) was amazing! The rooftop is truly a vibe with perfect views. The only negative thing I have to say is how the manager Joel handles/speaks to customers. He's very rude towards customers and there was no need to be speaking to us like that and treating us in that manner. The rooftop is a vibe but definitely won't be coming back.

Just went there for happy hour, female bartender said that there was no happy hour anymore, yet the have the advertisement on the elevator. Very disappointed

Was given a "drinks on us" voucher from the front desk when I checked into into the hotel so my wife and I went to this bar. For starters, I had to go to the bar to ask for a waiter, then I gave our waiter the vouchers and ordered two cocktails and an appetizer. My wife and I ordered another round of drinks because we thought the first round was covered by the voucher. When trying to leave, the waiter disappeared and stopped checking on us. So I had to go to the bar to cash out, the bill was $74. The bill comprised of 4 drinks, 1 appetizer, and a $10 "service fee". Come to find out the vouchers don't cover alcohol, just soda which would have been nice to know when I handed them to the waiter after ordering cocktails. Overall, the view was really nice, great atmosphere and the area was clean. I would go back, but just for the views.

Totally overpriced. Check out the views but that's about it. Corona and a mixed drink $43!! They throw in service charges, tip, tax etc etc. Horrible!

I will start with saying I definitely will be back! Pompano has a rooftop bar with amazing views! Lots of sitting around the rooftop. The bar is standard size with sitting. The drinks were good. The staff was pleasant, friendly & professional. The food was good. The cheesecake I thought had Caramel listed on the menu but I didn't snap a pic of the menu to confirm & it tasted pretty good so no complaints. The flatbread was good. Not a lot of chicken on it, if they diced the chicken just a little smaller & spread it out it would be A++ but lots of spinach/artichoke so it was still delicious to me. They have happy hour on the weekdays expect for Friday so I will definitely be back.

Came here for a few drinks and some apps. Can't say I was impressed by much other than the view. The food seems like cheap hotel food but comes with a much bigger price. The guacamole seemed like it was whipped and the flat bread was just dry. The place was plenty busy with a mixed crowd of younger and older groups. Our order was taken and food and drinks were brought out in a normal time frame. Can't say it's worth coming here if it's not happy hour.

The place is lovely. The view beautiful. Every type of seating arrangement you could want, couches, love seats, chairs, table seating. The menu is mainly appetizers, frozen drinks, beer, wine. The food we ordered was good, we had spinach and artichoke dip, hot pretzel with cheese dip and a charcuterie board. I had a strawberry daiquiri and my sister ordered a mango daiquiri. She did not like the drink and sent it back and got something different. When the bill came they had it as a mango marguerita which is why she didn't like it and was charged for it. He said he didn't charge her for the replacement drink but it was on the bill. He argued she had 2 of them....she did not. He told her he was going to charge her card a second time and credit first one. Mind you the bill was $117. She insisted on a credit for the price of the drink only....what an ordeal. So it was lovely and however it took forever to get this rectified so that put a little damper on the evening

The ambiance was really nice and the views are awesome! Our bartender tended to us wonderfully and the food we had was delicious. Definitely recommend the spinach artichoke flatbread!

I was really excited to visit this place, great location, rooftop on the beach, how could it be not great? Well, starting with the service, very slow, a bit unresposnive bartenders. There were two events on Wednesday evening, one of them blocking off 1/3 of the space, seats empty and people not allowed to sit in them all evening because they are "off limits". A joke! Then, they have happy hour, but nowhere can you see the specials, they are just "there", had to ask the bartender. They have a drink of the month but no mention of it on the menu or at least a loose flyer advertising it. I actually got it and it was decent. Then we order off the menu and honestly the cocktails were not good, looked good though. And that is all this place has going for it, it looks good and it has a great view. Oh and then, they charge automatically 18% tip, no wonder the bartenders were not in a rush to help anyone, haha. Not going back there, sticking to rooftops in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.

My husband, son (9), and I were going to eat at Lucky Fish across the street when I spotted people standing on the roof over at Pier 6. Someone in line told us what it was and that there were good views. So we decided to check it out. It was so-so...They could have a really nice place here, but they don't. The staff was blah, and the decor was lacking. We sat at a nice couch area with a firepit...come to find out the firepit was broken. It was super dark, they need more ambient lighting. The thing that annoyed me the most, was Karen at the bar. I think maybe she was the manager as well? I asked our server about the happy hour food specials (I saw the sign in the elevator). He wasn't sure so he asked Karen. He came back and told us there weren't any. A few minutes later, I went up to the bar and showed Karen the photo I had taken in the elevator. She looked at me like I had 3 heads and then went off to ask someone else. Came back and told me the specials are only offered "sporadically". Strange because the sign clearly states they offer happy hour 7 days a week and there are food and drink specials. She was so short and seemed annoyed that I questioned her AND showed her a photo. She could have handled this situation differently, but instead was rude. The food was decent, the view was nice, but we won't be coming back here.

6 stars just because of JOEL !!!!! Amazing service, entertainment, drinks & a view (of the ocean & drinks....not of Joel) just kidding he's fantastic and so is everything else. Tyler is also incredible so friendly & fun to talk to, I love this place for so many reasons
