Pier 70 Bar & Restaurant

Nice restaurant with amazing views. The team were really nice, a little long to clear the main because they were busy and it was a bit awkward because we didn't know if we could just leave or if we had to wait for our table to be cleared. Portion sizes were decent maybe a bit much of the fillers like mash, veggies etc but overall tasty, I'd consider the meals elevated pub food, hearty, piping hot and tasty. Decent drinks list. The fire place keeps it toasty warm and really cosy. No dessert menu if you were after a sweet treat.

What an absolutely gorgeous lunch was had with a lovely friend. We were greeted by the owner / Chef on arrival who seated us - we felt so special! The service was fabulous, staff are so attentive, food was excellent, delicious and the atmosphere was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for more, really!

This restaurant is magical as it’s right on the water in Paynesville. We sat outside (but inside is beautiful too) on a beautiful evening and watched the boats go by and the ferry go back and forth to Raymond Island. We intended to order Mains but we liked the Entrees so much that we got those instead. We ordered Peeled Prawns in Garlic with a small salad that was very good, Twice Cooked Pork Ribs served over really tasty tzatziki, Pumpkin and Sage Arancini served over whipped avocado and Garlic Bread. The food is absolutely beyond superb. They had a great drink menu which included some local wines and beers. All of the wait staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a restaurant you should not miss.

Thoroughly enjoyable meal at Pier 70. Not only is the venue stunning, right along the water but the staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had: - Pumpkin Arancini ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - Friend potato curry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - Garlic Bread ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - Thai dumplings in Red Curry sauce ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - Warm Brie and honey with walnuts and crackers ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Dog friendly on the deck. Enjoyed a lovely Seafood soup 🦞 Absolutely delicious, worth the drive from Melbourne. Service was excellent & I sat right by the window, looking out on all the boats. Definitely recommend.

Cannot recommend Pier 70 enough! Ian and the team went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. We ordered starters, mains and cocktails. Everything looked amazing and tasted delicious. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful. We started inside and then moved outside into the afternoon sun. It was a wonderful afternoon. We will be definitely coming back! Thanks so much Ian 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Absolutely the best restaurant we’ve been in the Gippsland area. Table service was outstanding, meals were sensational, restaurant position was bloody awesome. Can’t remember the last time we had this, totally recommend. Get down here and try it, wont be disappointed..5 stars all day long👌🏼

Pier 70 Bar and Restaurant For today we just came to this restaurant for a quick drink and i was just super impressed how friendly the bartender was to us. He was very kind and quick with service. The restaurant is a great location for breakfast lunch and dinner or even a quick drink with friends. It has a great view outside looking at the beautiful lake. This is a perfect place to dine at!
