Google
Stopped by here because we wanted to try and find another place with good seasoned sea food to add to our rotation. Service was ok, nothing too special but not bad. Place just kinda had an odd vibe. I'm not sure if it was all the graffiti on the walls or what, but it's definitely different. We didn't have to wait long on our food and when it arrived it was cooked fine. There's nothing like a good backyard boil but not bad non the less. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, and I would have no issues going back sometime. I would caution if you have small children that some of the graffiti can be a bit off color

Was greeted as I walked in, and taken to my table. Shawna greeted me and made some suggestions. I love a good seafood boil and while traveling I found this location on Google. It was a little out of my way, but definitely worth it. The seafood was delicious. Probably some of the best crab I’ve had in a long time. Which is shocking because this date is totally landlocked. I definitely recommend stopping here.

They have a fantastic happy hour daily from 3 to 7pm and all day Sunday. No happy hour on Saturday. The food is excellent. The catfish is amazing their boils are good. I suggest trying the 88 seasoning for the boil as well as the wings which you can even get in 3 levels of heat. They have a bbq shrimp and a buffalo shrimp that is really good. Their salmon is good. So far everything I've eaten there has not disappointed any of my crowd. It's a def must

My husband and I went here for lunch. The food was good. A bit overcooked as the crab legs were breaking apart. After ordering we noticed that our extra eggs were missing wasn’t a big deal until we told our sever which then informed his manager. The manager came over and was extremely rude. She was basically accusing my husband and I of eating the eggs. Like seriously ma’am😒 Anyway Our server was very very nice. His manager didn’t stop me from leaving a decent tip.

Upon opening the door I first noticed it’s not very clean. Straw wrappers and napkins on the floor. The women’s restroom was very dirty. It smelled like maybe cigarettes. The sink may have mold around the faucet . The soap dispenser was a little sour. The server was nice and attentive. The sauce was a little watery and some of the shrimp and crab legs were in the water too long the shells were sticking to the meat. Besides that not too bad. Everyone ate their bags but I’ve definitely seen and had better.

Google
It was great. Diane, my server is wonderful, pleasant, and has great customer service. I also had lbs of crab legs with the black mussels. I wasn't thinking about taking a picture when that came to the table lol

Second time here.. just way to cold to est here. The waitress was soooo amazing, though! The boil had a good amount, but the flavor on the 88 Seasoning blend just was not there - was just like a bag of liquid and some paprika for color - the flavor just was missing. Like dipping into red unsalted butter.

I would like to start and say this has been really disappointing. On October 22 I placed an online order for pick up. I ordered from the pier 88 website. I ordered the Royal shrimp combo with extra potatoes and eggs so the total for one meal was $60! I picked it up from the Britton location. I checked the receipt and it looked all correct. I drove home 30 minutes! When I got home so excited to eat my food I was met with disappointment. Once the bag was open it was clearly wrong. Not the royal shrimp combo at all but a whole pound of sausage and maybe a half pound of shrimp. Clearly not our $60 order. I immediately call the Britton location to ask for a refund. The guy on the phone said he was getting the manager and then hung up on me. I call back again and all I hear is chaos and they hung up again. I call back a third time and the boy said he will tell the manager and I’ll get a call back. I wait one day and call back the next practically had to beg for a manager. Josh is who took my information he told me he will contact the general manager at the I240 location Margret and I should expect a call back from her. Lo and behold I never got a call back. I spent days calling asking if I could talk to Margret and every time they said she was busy waiting tables. But as this is important I was upset she wasn’t giving us the time. Mine you its Halloween at this point. I call the I 240 location and finally get her on the phone. I have to explain the situation again to her because Josh at the other location never shared my info. Margret said she will have to contact her boss and that she would contact me in a couple of days. Wouldn’t you believe I haven’t got any more contact from either location. I have even gone on my online receipt and gone through the online portal to claim my order was wrong. It’s been almost three weeks and I have received a refund or gift card. The Britton location messed up our order and hasn’t taken responsibility the general manager is to busy waiting tables to resolve our issue. In the time we are in now $60 is a lot of money on one meal and what we received was not worth our money. It’s a shame that pier 88 won’t take accountability or give us a refund when we have been in constant contact as soon as it was wrong

Yelp
My first time ever going to this type of restaurant and I loved it (except for a couple of hiccups) The restaurant has graffiti all over the walls which some may think is cool but for me that vibe would be more for a pub. As a restaurant it kind of gave me the ick. The service was fine. Everyone was friendly and our waitress was very helpful. The cocktails are WEAK! I suggest u Order straight shots or beer instead. I had a long island and it tasted like juice. The food was delicious!! I ordered lobster and shrimp boil and it was so good. Only bummer was They ran out of rice! Overall the food and service were good, I would definitely go back!

Yelp
We ordered the seafood boil, fried shrimp and chicken wing basket. Food came out quickly, but the seafood boil sauce seemed like it'd been watered down. The ambience was casual/pub-like.

Yelp
Nice Pier88 location serving boiled crab and fried fish dishes as well as fries and beverages like alcohol. Great service and somewhat spacious inside with multiple tables - recommended!

Lacey H.

Yelp
waited 15 min for host when it was not busy, then taken to a dirty table just to be told to go back to the front and wait longer. left won't be back

Yelp
Great service, very flavorful crab boils, and oysters on the half shelf. Casual fun, dining experience. Get ready to put on a bib and dig in to great seafood.

Yelp
I was a bit concerned about all the graffiti that was everywhere but the food was excellent. We got the $32 boil and man was it good. Wait staff was very attentive but not overbearing. Definitely will go there again.

Yelp
Food is delicious! One of our go to spots for seafood boil in the OKC metro area! Live that they have Happy Hour even on Sundays!

Yelp
Pier 88 is soooo good! My personal favorite the snow and king crab legs in the pier 88 sauce medium spice level. Add a pound of shrimp to that and I'm the happiest girl alive. I always ask for the boil to have just corn as the potatoes are bland and bleh. I have been to this location and the Nichol Hills location and this one is so much better. The crab legs are much bigger, sweeter, and flavor of the sauce is better. I don't know why as they're both the same restaurants. If I had gone to the Nichol Hills location first I would have never went back. I have been to Pier 88 three times now in the last three weeks. They do have a bar so get a cold one with your seafood. I read a review where it says the onion rings are really good here. They're not. Do not waste your money. Maybe my opinion is an unpopular opinion but yeah, I don't think they're good. Besides snow crab legs, king crab legs, and shrimp, that is all I've had here and that's all I'll continue to eat. The corn is a must try. It's so flavorful with the sauce. I would highly recommend asking for a cup of lemon wedges and butter. The lemon cleans your pallet, gives it a little tang, and the butter adds a little extra to the food. If you're going to eat and indulge, might as well clog your arteries. I'm counting down the days to go back for the fourth time hopefully before or on Father's Day. Oh yeah I'm not a father, but I get to enjoy the food and day too right. I saw a man sit at the bar by himself and eat and that is something that is so cool and I'd totally do cause finding a seafood lover to dine with is hard! Luckily I'm married to one so we have been able to go a lot. I tried their chocolate molten lava cake and it's awful. Don't waste your money on that. Otherwise, go ahead and try everything for yourself!

Joi S.

Yelp
We had boil with crab, crawfish and shrimp. The shrimp was overcooked, crawfish was terrible. We notified the waiter who just brushed it off like we never said anything. He wasn't very attentive at all. The shrimp was decent and the crab legs were nothing to rave about.
google avatar

Janee' T.

Yelp
I got fired catfish basket, popcorn crawfish, the pier 88 drink. Everything was mid. Service was okay. We go there cuz the seafood boil is better than seafood party but again all that is kid.

Jason A.

Yelp
Yes, Margaret the lady running the place gets a little stressed out and has a short tolerance for rude people and insignificant problems. Try to walk into this place on a Friday or Saturday night and you'll be waiting for 30 to 60 minutes because this place is good. So when you're good, you're busy. Overall, the food consists of what I believe is the best boiling king crab kind of place this side of the Red River. I have had better at some of the other bigger cities in the United States, but for Oklahoma this one's not too shabby.

Aire T.

Yelp
I've been to this location multiple with no issues. However today I was greeted by a host that seemed annoyed I was there, then when the server greeted me she did not seem happy to have a customer or even be there. My meal had already started off negative. Thought it could only go up from here. Sort of. The food was amazing. However, after getting side eyed by the host and server multiple times, and the server just seemed annoyed that I was there I've decided I may not be back anytime soon. Hopefully something can change about the atmosphere and climate of this restaurant.

Chelsey J.

Yelp
Boils are amazing! Hands down best around. Extremely surprised when I ordered fried catfish and fries and that was better than the boil. All around great food, service, and atmosphere! Cool place to go in a date night, solo night, or family night. 10/10 recommend

Yelp
The food was SO good. I've been craving crab legs for SO long and this hit the SPOTTT. The music is SO diverse, there's a little bit of everything, it was entertaining, haha. The service? Awesome. My server was attentive and SO funny. She had such a warm personality, was so kind, and was a great at her job. I wish I had remembered her name to give her more credit. The floors were kinda dirty with plastic silverware BUT the table turn over time was so quick, I didn't even mind it. You will get dirty BUT they provide a bib, gloves, and sanitary wipes as soon as you get there. 10/10, WILL BE RETURNING. we got the Low Country Boil!

Edil R.

Yelp
I walked in to the establishment and met by a young hostes, handed me the menu and then I asked her what's next? I asked her if I should seat myself or what? She said I can go find a table or a booth if I want. Hmmmm! The waitress was friendly and the food was okay. I was served with this boil see food in a plastic bag that looks like seafood soup. I figured, if I want to spend over $36 for a seafood meal, they need to at least act like professionals. This place is not my cup of tea.

Yelp
Be ready to het your hand dirty The food here is great and the service is good as well.

Yelp
I'd highly recommend not visiting this restaurant. As most of you know I drink a lot of lemon Drops! Unfortunately today I had the worse bitter, sour lemon drop. It wasn't even drinkable, the manger insisted we pay an up charge for the Tito's we sent back. Why would I pay for an up charge on a drink SETH the bartender made. That drink was disgusting, I insisted we go to the bar and have the bartender make it again. Once I got to the bar, SETH was already talking about the table who sent the drinks back. He was obviously upset about the drink sent back. When the reality of the story is, every day is a learning experience. You can't live your life not being able to learn. If I made a mistake, I'd be more than open to fix or try.. Now that I'm at this bar, some person with absolute no affiliation tells me to calm down. This is where it gets out of control, the bartender SETH threatened to call the police on me. I don't have the right to send a drink back? I don't have the right to ask why I'm being charged for something I didn't drink? Why is this even a topic. So SETH the bartender and some random person gangs up on me threatening me with the police. With the severity of police in America nobody in any restaurant should be using them as a tool. Nobody should feel that comfortable to put our police men and women in danger. Calling the police with lies can turn out to be super dangerous! This isn't something that should be ignored, it needs to END! SETH!!!! STOP USING THE POLICE AS A TOOL! It is unfair to them and the many people who've lost lives because of improper use of calling the police! I'm highly disappointed

Yelp
Great food, amazing service and a lively atmosphere!! Drinks never ran dry! If you leaved unsatisfied you were definitely not one of Ryan's customers!

Yelp
Pier 88 was really good. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere even though we sat close to the door where the cold air kept coming in as people entered and exited. We got catfish, buffalo shrimp and some crawfish. The Buffalo shrimp stood out above the rest of them. The catfish was average, but I didn't like the crawfish, mainly because of the old bay seasoning. I'll try another seasoning next time.

Yelp
I was craving some oysters and this was the closest location that had some. They were pretty good it just wasn't the cleanest place to eat. Took my two boys and wife and we all ate and had a good time. Just next time I'm sure we'll look around somewhere else but that doesn't mean we wouldn't go back.

Yelp
Food and drinks are great!! Host and waiters do an amazing job however, their manager Margaret is the so unprofessional and should not be managing this place. She gives out free beer and food to a specific man that is a regular there. She has a short temper with staff and starts problems with guest. I was banned bc the young man who she gives free beer to spoke to me. I'm guessing it's her boyfriend or she's in love bc shes wayyy older than him. Idk but shes very unprofessional!!

Yelp
This is a strange atmosphere. I almost felt like they decided to give in to the southside vibe. But let's talk food. The menu was very simple, which is good. We had the hush puppies as appetizer. The entrees were catfish and the shrimp and crab leg boil. It was great. Everything was cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes. I am giving a 3 due to the atmosphere. All the graffiti writing was distracting to the meal experience. It's literally everywhere. Maybe that's just not my thing. But the food is pretty good. I'll take my order to go next time.

Ann R.

Yelp
This place has a horrible smell and the food is terrible. The service was acceptable, although they could get more help that isn't so crazy. Cheers to getting better food, better service, and better help. And someone please call a decorator- my eyes are sore from looking at their walls.

Yelp
We ordered Alaskan King Crab. And they brought a snow crab and was overcooked and soggy. We waited 30 minutes for food and drinks. And nobody followed up with us when the girl that came on. She asked what we ordered. After 45 minutes. I will never eat here again. T.Wellman

Becky R.

Yelp
The place was busy and had alot of people in the line waiting ti be seated but they were seating you fast. The atmosphere was more of sports bar feel than a restaurant feel but we enjoyed the place. The food was flavorful and just how we asked for it. We had more than enough food for 2 people. We took leftovers home and still had enough for dinner. If you like a good seafood boil. This is the place to go!

Danielle C.

Yelp
The food is good here! So my boyfriend and I just visited this place, around dinner time so they were busy, and we were seated quickly but then sat there for 15 minutes while we watched 3 other tables after us get waited on. So on the way on out my boyfriend spoke with the manager on duty(wearing glasses) outside smoking a cigarette and she apologized profusely and offered to wait on us but we were on our way somewhere. I get they were busy but come on.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Pier 88 and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. We visited on Saturday evening, it was a bit crowded, but it didn't take very long to get seated. Our food was amazing and came out very quickly, I highly recommend adding the king crab to the seafood boil, it was an amazing addition. You may choose your seasoning and heat level for the boil, we chose Old Bay seasoning and a medium heat level, the flavors were perfect. My only issue was our server wasn't as attentive as I liked, We had to wait on our drink refills and it took over 15 minutes for him to pick up our check and credit card. Even with the average service, I highly recommend Pier 88 if you enjoy seafood, especially crab legs.

Erica E.

Yelp
Mark is one of the best bartenders I have ever had. He is very intentive. Very nice and he is so super funny. I love sitting at the bar with him.

Yelp
Great Service Fantastic food. We enjoyed it! Oh and they give the birthday person a slice of cheese cake. Yum! Our server was Zack . Thank Yiu !

We love Pier 88. Always a great time! Great service and great food every time!! Never been disappointed.

Yelp
I was craving crablegs and went to my favorite seafood boil spot Pier 88. I ordered 1/2 pound snow crablegs with 1/2 pound of sausage and potatoes and corn. I chose the 88 special medium and a watermelon margarita that was only $4.50 btw. The drink was tasty and strong just like I like them. Then I received my meal without a long wait. I opened the bag and it was one crableg cluster. I asked the waitress if they included the corn and potatoes in to get the half pound weight. She chuckled and said no ma'am they weigh the meat by itself. Y'all no matter how many times that I have eaten here over the years it's always 1 cluster, not a cluster and an extra leg or two, not a cluster minus a leg or two. It's always 1 cluster, so either every crab in the ocean and their legs all weigh exactly the same or we aren't getting an accurate amount of crab. I am now on a quest to find out the answer. I am going to Amazon to get a scale delivered and the next time I will be weighing my legs. I think I will go to all the boil places in Okc.......to be continued Btw: the food was delicious Pros:great drinks and service Cons: I don't believe that they weigh the food

Yelp
I don't know what restaurant this used to be but it was different with the writing on the windows. We started with wings and wow they wee hot and delish the calamari was ok. We all got the crab boil. I got mild and garlic. We all enjoy it

Yelp
Don't ever come here. I love seafood but it shouldn't smell this much like the ocean...

Yelp
My favorite crab place! The food always comes out quickly and the flavor is consistent :)

Yelp
I was in Pier 88 tonight on I240.  Your manager Margaret is extremely rude. A guy sat next to me and my friend and walked his tab.  I was discussing this with my friend. Margaret walks by and tells us to stop talking about him.  I tried to speak with her and she ignored me. Here is some history Ive been going there for years. The bathroom is always filthy and Margaret always wears the same clothes and has dirty finger nails.  She gets drunk with her employees and she has a thing for black males. She will personally make them drinks and will not charge them for it. If you have any doubts please send a mystery diner to this location. I will probably not be returning.

Yelp
We've tried a lot of different, seafood and crab, and this place is the best every time!!

Yelp
I had high hopes for this joint but it did not deliver on my first trip. I arrived shortly after noon. The place was about half full, and I was seated immediately near the bar. The tables have the requisite butcher paper which you see at most (all?) boiling seafood joints. There were a couple of TVs within view from my seat. The restaurant is clean and comfortable enough. Service was spotty during my visit. The guy was friendly, but I had to wait for sauces (which were ordered with the meal) and the check. I don't know if they had him overworked that day or what, but it was a bit frustrating to eat there on a work day and not be able to get the check in a reasonable amount of time. i went with the fried catfish and shrimp basket with fries. The meal is a good size, containing 2 healthy (in size) pieces of catfish and 4 shrimp. Everything was hot, so room temperature is not an issue. The fries were crispy but needed salt. They were fine, not great but I have had worse as well. The catfish was the better part of the meal, it was cooked well in that it was not overdone or greasy, but it needed seasoning as well. I would say the catfish was worth 3 stars, but the shrimp was not. The shrimp to breading ratio was off, and the cocktail sauce had an odd taste I cannot place but it was off putting. The shrimp was also greasier than the other items. Had I just gotten the catfish this would be a 3 star review. While my first visit left a lot to be desired, I would definitely come back to try the boiled items, as that appears to be the specialty of the house. So, hopefully I am writing an update of this review in the future.

Yelp
Outstanding!!! I've been wondering about this place for awhile now and finally got to check it out. Outstanding fried seafood. Nice light batter. Oysters were amazing, shrimp was the best I've had in a long time... Food was plentiful and piping hot. The only complaint was the didn't offer enough boiled combo options. Would have loved a boil of shrimp, crawfish, blue crab, crab legs and mussels. They only offer 3 combo books and that with only Shrimp, crawfish or shrimp, crawfish ands snow crab. All in all food is great. Servers were nice, building clean. Nice place to eat.

Yelp
Came here with my grandparents today. My grandma loves this place. Came here during lunch hour. Vanessa was serving us. She actually come in and check on us about a good 2-4 times. We order fried shrimped, snow crabs, clams, and craw fish. All the season came with a corn and potato. The season is pretty good for Oklahoma. Service was wonderful too. I would definitely come back here for sure. When we paid Vanessa even ask if we wanted our drinks togo. I said no thank. Her service was on above and beyond my expectations.

Yelp
This place is so meh. (I think this word needs to be added to the dictionary). My friend ordered fried crawfish and the temperature of the oil wasn't hot enough because they were waaaay too greasy IMO. My friend ordered oysters. Even they were meh. We ordered a boil they have on special, which includes crab, shrimp, sausage, potato, corn and an egg with the lemon pepper seasoning. We also ordered a pound of crawfish with Cajun seasoning, which also came with a potato and a piece of corn. I said to make the heat mild to medium and that was uber not spicy at all. Their wine list was okay; just a chain restaurant meh list of wines. Meh.

Yelp
This place was hands down one of the BEST seafood boil spots we've ever had. First off, We had calamari as an appetizer and it was so fresh and tender absolutely delicious! We also had the fried crawfish bites and they were so good. Everything was delicious here and we will most definitely come to this place every time we are in Oklahoma.

P H.

Yelp
I was a faithful customer for the longest time. They gave me the greatest service but I can't justify having hair wrapped around my crab legs. That's absolutely disgusting and it's very important that whoever is in making the food in the back uses a hairnet. No I wasn't offered a refund. I will not be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Man, I hate to be this way, but that was not a great dining experience. The food was good, I really didn't have any complaints there, but the environment...yikes. The A/C was only partially working - which was certainly not the staff's fault - but for August in Oklahoma, it made for a tough dining experience. Where we were seated was cooler then the foyer and restrooms, but we were still pretty sweaty by the end of the meal, which took a while to reach because the service was pretty slow. The food took a while to get. Our server was very nice, but she dropped the food and disappeared. The real ick issue was the cleanliness, or lack thereof. Everything's written on, and that's an aesthetic that doesn't lend itself to looking clean, but it was also actually not clean. There was sticky on our table, and the windows in the atrium area were permanently foggy and grimy looking. I was glad the eating utensils and plates were all disposable or plastic wrapped because that made me feel better. We'll be finding crab boils elsewhere in the future even though the taste of the food was good.

Yelp
I'm already not a huge fan of Pretty sure they didn't change anything from the previous decor of Old Chicago. Wouldn't write home about this place. If I ever really feel like cajun, I might come back here. Might. There are other places I haven't tried yet. It's rare I do a seafood joint besides sushi. I did enjoy the fried calamari basket and would order it during happy hour again. The fried catfish basket and the fried shrimp baskets were pretty good and we finished all of our fish and took home about half the fries. We ended up not eating them and throwing them out.

Yelp
Took a wack at Pier 88 on southwest 74th today for lunch. Everybody in our party ordered the fried shrimp basket. Now I'm a sucker for shrimp baskets, and there are plenty around Oklahoma city so this would be a hard sell. The shrimp came out (8 count) piping hot with a nice golden crust. The cocktail sauce can make or break any basket and while not great was up to the task. The flavor was good but missing that extra something to put it over the top. I place Pier 88' s shrimp basket a touch over middle of the pack. What really got my attention was a side order of hush puppies. Subtle flavor, not to large, definitely not greasy and I found myself eating most of the order before I caught on to what was happening. Prices were reasonable. Service was a bit off but it was busy so I overlooked that. I plan on coming back and trying one of the seafood boiled items on the menu.

Audessa R.

Yelp
Super delicious foods are served here, if you love seafood . The manger's seafood boil is my best recommendation and the shrimp basket, with f

Yelp
This is my first time at Pier 88. I am a boiling crab Fanatic. This is up my ally ! Today, i ordered: 1/2 shrimp (head on) 1/2 crawfish 2 lb snow crabs I tried both cajun original and Pier 88 sauce with medium and hot level of spicy. I honestly love the Pier 88 sauce and hot level spicy. It was absolutely comparable to the boiling crab. The cajun sauce is a bit lead toward salty for me. The service is good, definitely have more room for improvement. One of the lady, who probably a manager, was really nice and come check on us frequently. But our server seem to be bit busy and come check at us may be 3 times with that being said She might be a bit more busy than usually since it is their first week of opening, not everything settle just yet ! The manager also suppose to look at the review to get 10% off, but she was too busy, and we decide to just leave and come to get our 10% next time. The food is definitely AMAZING in every way ! My must-try is snow-crab with Pier 88 sauce !!!

Yelp
Loud, dirty booths and terrible tilapia. The fried shrimp were the only edible food. Skip the way overcooked corn!
