It was our 1st time going and my 40th birthday. We went when they just opened. The food was amazing. The crab was delicious and the Cajun fries were great. Downfalls: Music was terrible. More for a club. Server was non existent. We had to ask another Server for silverware. Food was delivered and on fire. We couldn't use our fingers on the king crab shells and whole potatoes. There was a kid running around. Maybe 3 yrs old. An employees son. Climbing on tables. The staff was watching him more than the customers it felt like.

The food was delicious! The passion fruit margarita is a MUST! Our server Josh was amazing, his attitude was incredible and made us feel welcome, despite it being busy he was attentive and made sure we were okay, highly recommend this place!

Google
SO MUCH SALT!! I got a special with shrimp crab, sausage, and egg and potato and corn. It was only $31 i think. Good price for what I received. I probably could have shared it with someone. It didn’t come with any lemon or butter the sauce was very salty nd the sausage with the sauce was almost too much salt. The host was great! I would probably go back and eat inside the restaurant. The wings were good.

Will never visit this location again. We have been going to this location since February of 2022. About every 4 to 6 weeks. Over the last year the service has degraded. To the point I will not be returning to this location. The the last straw was when I went in there today and I stood at the front counter for 15 minutes waiting to be seated while 2 servers saw us but did not acknowledge. Then I knocked on the kitchen door a woman came out walked past me to help with pick up order and then turned around and went back into kitchen. There were 3 tables occupied. And 4 empty trash covered tables. Right before we turned and left there was other people tired of waiting to be seated and walked out as well. It 2:00 pm. No wonder they have no business.

Google
Food was good, the atmosphere was good. My kids and I loves seafood and it was our first time there, we were looking for a place to eat because we just visited a family in the hospital, then we saw the pier 88 boiling seafood. We walk in and they seated us right away. Liz is our server and she is beyond helpful, nice and amazing server, 5 star for her! We'd recommend this place!

Google
Excellent place, we had the Country Seafood Boil. Tasted amazing and for $32 my wife and I shared it. We also had a couple of beers for $7 each. Our waitress was new to the place, but was excellent and very friendly, hats off to Caitlin and thanks for an amazing lunch too tip given. :-)

Google
I will tell you, this location is way better than the Spring Mountain location. All the food tastes the same but they don't skimp out on the portions here. The bags are so full that you have so many leftovers the next day. This place is new so it's way cleaner. The bathroom is super clean but the place also doesn't smell. Spring Mountain location smells like eggs sometimes, you know that gross sulfur smell. Anyways, I hope this place stays consistent with portions and the atmosphere because it's our new go to spot. We'll even drive the extra time to come here even tho Spring Mountain is closer.

I like everything about this place, maybe because I love seafood. We dine here with my family and we had fun. Good food, great service.

Yelp
We frequent the original location in Chinatown, so while being excited to have a new location closer to home, we were also apprehensive that it may not measure up...Boy, were we wrong. We took friends from out of town and they were so pleased with the freshness of the seafood, the flavor of the sauces and the attentiveness of the staff. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Extra points for being so super clean! The walls haven't been completely tagged up yet like most seafood boil joints. As far as the food, the shrimp was plump and fresh. No squishy-ness or fishy flavor to indicate that it was old and had been frozen. Seriously fresh shrimp. The sausage was incredibly flavorful, potatoes and corn were cooked just right...and quite honestly, I wish I had gotten my own bag and not shared with the husband because it was so good that I could have keep eating. Yum. Will be back again and again and again.

Yelp
Went in today(Saturday) around 2:30pm, there was already a line but we put our name in the waitlist anyway because we wanted crawfish and we haven't had it for a while. Reason for the 1 star are: 1. We got skipped, lady at the front called 2 party that was behind us. I asked and she did not apologize but sat us to a booth right away. 2. They have NO CRAWFISH!!!!!! and we waited 35 minutes just to be told that there are no crawfish that day. There was no sign at the front or the menu did not say no crawfish. There has to be a communication between the cook, server, front desk, and floor managers about everything that happens in the restaurant. I walked past atleast 15 people who are waiting and have no clue that they might be waiting for nothing.

Yelp
My friends and I love pier 88 but unfortunately we left today with a bad taste on our tongue from staff.... There was 3 of us and we had a service charge. We paid for our bill but sat confused about tipping because of this charge. I was taking examining the check and saw that it said number of guest 6. I know in most places service charge is given for groups of usually 6 or more. When we brought this up, at first we were going to be charged again then refunded for the first payment which made sense to process through the bank. The server ended up just giving us $20 to walk away with. This all felt very suspicious. The problem was resolved in a way but I just couldn't help but wonder if this has happened to other people and they walked away without paying close attention to the check. Be careful!

Yelp
Such bad service, 18% gratitude when it was 2 kids under 4 & just 4 adults. Ridiculous

Yelp
Sunday night , 8pm. Restaurant was semi packed with a few large party's waiting. Had a bad experience at this location (Lake Mead) about 2 years ago and vowed to never return. But decided to give them another shot. I primarily dine at the Craig Rd or Spring Mtn locations. They were short staffed which is no fault of the server as he did what he could while waiting several tables including a party of about 12. He was running around like crazy but was very friendly and apologetic. Food took about 30 min to come out, fountain drinks were flat. Restaurant is not as well kept as the other locations. They forgot my rice. I had finished my food by the time it was brought out. Overall not pleased with this location and this sealed the deal that I will stick to the other two locations for better service overall. Manager even took 10% off the bill (we didn't ask or even complain, it was voluntary given due to the long wait for food and drinks).

Melly G.

Yelp
Food is salty as helll , the service was horrible the girl never paid attention and would run away when trying to call over. was there for 2 1/2 hrs never got a refill , they charged 2 adults and 2 kids with 2 BABIES a 8 party forced gratitude of $44 . I was okay with tipping regardless but that's just stupid never coming back.

Kenneth B.

Yelp
Food is always great and great service. Always friendly staff ready to assist even when they are busy.

Ashley B.

Yelp
I tried Pier 88 for the first time, the food was delicious and full of flavor! I loved the quirky, fun decor. Gabriela, our server, was awesome--very sweet and efficient. Definitely planning to come back soon!

Stephanie A.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I meet up to do a dinner once a month and one friend decided on Pier 88 on Rainbow. Upon arriving, I realized this is the old Sweet Tomato location. The inside was remodeled beautifully, we were welcomed in and sat down. Our server was absolutely amazing and checked on us multiple times to ensure our drinks were refilled and that we had everything we needed. Had a wonderful time and great seafood! would recommend and return.

Flemming M.

Yelp
I had a take order and when I got home, my order was fry catfish was fried so hard. The batter had no seasoning, I called in the order and they said it would take 15 minutes when I got there after 15 minutes, I had to wait at least 28 minutes. it's not a place. I will be visiting anytime soon.

Bruce S.

Yelp
Love love love Pier 88. We normally go to the one in China town, but due to time restraints we decided to go to the Northwest location closer to home. The food was just as great as the location we are used to. The sauce is on point, seafood fresh and servers were great. Lot of space at this restaurant and it's clean. So why 4 stars? My friend ordered a beer and the server advised us that the bar was closed. It was 11:30am and we are in Vegas. We went with it and not a big deal, but still not sure why a bottle of beer could not be brought to the table and charged on our bill without a bartender present. Beer and the food at pier 88 are a match made in heaven.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill fast. We visited on Saturday for lunch with a party of 5 adults and 2 small children, and it could have gone better. We arrived in 2 cars, with 4 of us 5 minutes after the first group. They would not seat the first group without all of us being there. I've seen this before, in fine dining or AYCE situations, this place is neither and it was practically empty. We were seated and ordered drinks, only to find out that the bar did not open until 2 PM, that was advertised nowhere. I believe that this location is suffering severe staffing shortages. All the drinks were served in disposable paper cups. When we asked for plates, we were given Styrofoam to-go containers. There were no nut crackers for the crab, all the utensils were plastic,...etc. I would guess they are trying to not hire dishwashers, it all made the place feel cheap. The food was pretty good, but took a while. The waiter, Uree I believe, was very good and provided the best service he could. It was evident he wasn't pleased handing out to-go boxes instead of actual plates. Be advised that they add 18% for parties of 6 or more. It is on a sign on the entrance, but not highlighted on the bill. They do, however, have recommended tip percentages on the bill that do not point to the service charge. Overall, not a fan of paper cups, no plates, and no bar, probably won't be back,

Jessica G.

Yelp
This place is amazing and the staff has always been super attentive and nice! Love the food its super good and affordable! They have plenty of seating and never have had long wait times.

Miriam P.

Yelp
Ordered for delivery 1 pound shrimp and 1 pound white clams. Cajun sauce and all mixed together. Barely any sauce in the bags and they were just HIGH in salt. Like I was liking a bag of salt. No other flavors so I'm very disappointed. Probably won't try again.

Vanessa T.

Yelp
Wow. I was excited to bring my husband after a great experience at the Craig location. But I was met with disappointment. Our food, despite being busy, was served in 10 minutes at the Craig location for a party of 4. We were regularly checked on and given refills. This spot was the total opposite. We were promptly sat, but did not see our server for 15 minutes. No drinks, no orders. After FINALLY ordering, we waited another 15-20 minutes for our food. Only 2 meals. The food was okay. The Cajun Garlic sauce was more watery and less buttery than the Craig location. I was also expecting a cocktail menu, but given the wait for water alone, I gave up on the idea. Horrible experience, will not be back.

Maya T.

Yelp
Uree was such an amazing server! Super kind and friendly. He told us to take our time and not rush, even though we were there pretty late. Food was amazing! A bunch of us got the Famous Low Country Boil and we all loved it. It was full of crab and shrimp and a ton of sausage, and the best part was; it was only $32!!! What a deal. I also loved that the table was preset for my party when we arrived. There were gloves, bibs, trash buckets and lemons waiting for us. Uree checked on us a bunch throughout the night, and made sure our drinks were full and food was tasting good. The ambiance is a little cliche, very typical of a seafood spot, but I loved it. The silly decorations everywhere ended up being a talking point for my friends and I at one point. Super cute. I think we will definitely be back!

Mariah D.

Yelp
Charizard was my server and he was very polite and friendly... Great food great time! A +

Karen C.

Yelp
My husband and I had lunch and the food was awesome. The service was excellent. I had the fried shrimp basket which had perfectly fried shrimp, light and crispy. My husband had the steamed clams and steamed headless shrimp in a garlic butter sauce. They were delicious. Nice and tender and perfectly cooked.

Rechelle F.

Yelp
This location is disgusting and dirty! I mean everything was dirty! We came at 12:30; only an hour after opening and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 6 months, tables were sticky, chairs had sticky soda all over them, the bathrooms were missing toilet paper and toilet seat covers. The place smelt like sewer, the kitchen was sooo dirty, it was so bad that us as a party of 8 walked right out because can you imagine how they would cook their food if they can't manage to clean their business, no thank you!

Jackie G.

Yelp
This place is close by so it's convenient. The shrimp are always so plump and sweet! The sauce is good, I tend to order it on the side nowadays. The sauce is slightly greasier than other places, I wish that they wouldn't heat the butter so high, it turns to clarified butter. Nonetheless, it is still very delicious. I can't order shrimp without rice. The cashier was very nice and made sure i had all that I needed when I did a pickup order. Inside is very mellow and chill. Would definitely come back.

Emily C.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst seafood place in Las Vegas. 10000000 % do not recommend. I ordered from here through door dash and got 3 of their special seafood boils. The food came watery and the sauce was just butter and lemon . The manager Yumi told me I have to drive it back to the restaurant (25 min) to bring the food back and no compensation will be given . But she would remake it. Unfortunately there was no apology or anything to make my first experience here better. I feel bad for the staff who do show up because of the service provided by the manager/ owner

Maria T.

Yelp
Was double charged for my pickup order , when called they said to never order online b/c it goes through a 3rd party company. I have never been told about this, so payment was collected online and in store. when i called the restaurant spoke to Yuri who said they take no accountability and there is nothing they can do to refund my money or help in any way and I have to contact doordash even though i don't have an account with them. Was told there policy is to always collect payment when picking up food , even if payment has been taken online. Disappointing and no type of responsibility was taken.

Christina R.

Yelp
This location is the worst the food be old you ordered to pick up. You still have to wait 30 minutes to get your food. It's ridiculous. I'm never going back here again. The manager is an idiot. She don't know what's going on. She went in the back never came back out. The Dumb girl in the front brought me my food. I'm just gonna keep going back to scream Mountain because the rainbow location is horrible.

Lili G.

Yelp
Food quality was really good. The price was excellent. The service was outstanding for a party of 15. We forgot a gift and I called and they had it safe waiting for us to pick it up.

Omar v.

Yelp
First time coming here trying something different from Hot & Juicy , Came at 8:55 on a Friday , "Open" neon sign was on ,door was locked tried the door the workers didn't even look up. Bad service will not try this company or this location waste of time.

Raymundo M.

Yelp
I've been to this place twice and both times no one is waiting in front. Today I came in at 6:25 for happy hour we told Kassidy we were there for happy hour she said no problem a table would open up. We were seated at 7:06 when I asked Shakira if we can order from the happy hour menu she said no it's 7:06 I told her we waited for 40min she said the system wouldn't accept happy hour orders we decided to leave she smiled as if pleased she didn't have to do more work. Both times I've been employees were wack and possibly overworked get some staff in here you're making a killing selling over priced seafood. Won't return will spread the word for no one to go there.

Aimee B.

Yelp
I will tell you, this location is way better than the Spring Mountain location. All the food tastes the same but they don't skimp out on the portions here. Yelp
Bring your own utensils if you want to be sure to eat!!!! We got there at 4:30pm, well before the dinner rush. After ordering crab at $70/lb, we received our dinner with no utensils for cracking and eating the crab. We were then informed that the servers have to buy their own utensils for service, and there were no utensils available at the moment. So we had to wait until they brought over one set of utensils for a party of 4 people to share. And they only brought those after we waited a while and finally asked for a manager. The food was tasty enough, but that was one of the most ridiculous situations we'd ever encountered. We won't be returning.

Julie L.

Yelp
Ok why the fuck do you have online ordering? When you don't make the food until you go pick it up? Whats the point of having an online ordering if I still have to wait when I get there? And why do you not explain this anywhere on your website? Don't fucking take online ordering if it doesn't go through until the person goes in to pay for it. Or just pay a little more money to add pay online system! So you won't lose money and the customer doesnt have to wait when they get there? Fucking ridiculous! Just a stupid system!

Lisa S.

Yelp
After ordering 27 dollars worth of fish, got home it was raw on inside. I called & I was told no refund. Manager wouldn't be in for 4 more days.

Maggz J.

Yelp
This was our first time coming here and it was great! Garrett was amazing, efficient and fast! We will def come back!

Melissa L.

Yelp
I have never had a seafood boil before. I am now hooked! Oh my gracious. Whatever they use as their seasoning it is off the chart good! I could drink the butter. An explosion of flavor in every bite. The pricing is pretty reasonable for the portions and all the extras in the bag (corn, potatoes, and sausage). The restaraunt is decorated really cute. The employees are super helpful. Like I said I had never had a boil before so was clueless as to how to get the meat out of a crawfish. One of the employees was super sweet came over and explained step by step and made sure I had the hang of it. I'm good to eat all the crawfish I want now. The service was great, food was amazing and I love the fact they have homemade sweet tea. It is so good too. It's so hard to get sweet tea in vegas for some reason.

Breanna W.

Yelp
Super neat place! The amount of food you got in each bag was a lot. My family all did the Country Boil, was like 1lb crab leg, 1/2lb shrimp, corn, potato, egg. I decided to do 1/2lb shrimp and 1/2lb mussels, because I didn't think I could eat all the Country Boil, and I ended up with just as much food. It came with 2 potato's and 2 corns and I only got garlic butter and it was amazing. Everyone at our table agreed we would come back, but maybe try another restaurant just to see a difference. For the price and food, great! The worst part was it was 105 degrees outside. I came in with my mom and 84 year old grandma. We said there was 7 of us and the rest of the party on the way. They wouldn't seat us until the entire party arrived. I totally understand this concept, but the restaurant was empty... it wasn't like they were going to fill our table with another party. The 3 of us asked to just sit down so we could get water, grandma was hot and thirsty, and they said no not until our party arrived. Really made no sense why we couldn't sit when the place wasn't busy anyways...

TaRonda S.

Yelp
Your average seafood boil. Their crawfish aren't live but their crablegs, shrimp, and eggs are tasty. And my stomach didn't hurt afterwards so that's a major plus.

Alijah H.

Yelp
Waited an hour for my food. Mostly just fried food appetizer. Service terrible. Needs more servers and runners. Greeted 1 time the whole hour I sat and waited. All soda products out of order only tap water. Nice restaurant, just needs help serving Wasn't busy at all and still took forever.

Candace G.

Yelp
I want to start off by first saying that I usually only leave good reviews. I come from a family of entrepreneurs and business owners & understand that things can be busy. I also understand coming from a customer service background that you can't be everywhere all at once. In this instance though, I have to say something because the experience we had was that bad. When we arrived, we were seated pretty quickly, but once at the table we waited about 10 to 12 minutes for our server Gabriella to even come over and acknowledge us. When it came time to order and understand how the ordering process worked, She proceeded to tell us that the amount of food that we were ordering was too much... We are a tall family of six and all of our children are above 5 ft tall (5th, 6th and 10th grade) except for the 1 yr old baby. We eat a lot of food. In that instance, I already had a bad taste in my mouth and she made it worse. Not to mention it felt a little bit judgy. Prior to our food arriving, she came out to tell us that she wasn't going to be able to bring our food out on the appropriate platters because a larger group that came in after us needed them... Something about not having enough. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy and there were a ton of empty tables. What kind of service is that though? You're telling us a party of six that a bigger party gets more priority because they had more people in their group??? Make it make sense. I think she could tell I was irritated by that and they figured out a way to get us some platters when she brought the food out. As we got our food and began to eat, We didn't have any type of silverware. The only thing we had was the waste bucket and bibs. Now yes, you could say well, "This is a crab boil restaurant. You don't really need a lot of utensils" and I agree. When you order crab though it's kind of standard to at least offer some type of crab cracking tool for those tough pieces that are hard to open & napkins for the table... We had neither. The kicker though is that she was so MIA that we couldn't find her at all throughout the meal. Not even to ask if we could get some. I literally had to get up and go to another table to grab a container of napkins because we had zero napkins to clean our hands. She literally checked on us one time at the beginning of the meal the entire time we were there until it was time for us to get our bill. There were several opportunities for other servers to see if we were okay as well, as I locked eyes with just about all of them looking for her. We then waited about 10 minutes after we finished our meal for her to bring us the check. I'm sorry I'm not one to rant, I'm not one to be a jerk, and I genuinely try to look at things from a place of respect and empathy. I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews but in this case it is definitely warranted. We ordered 4 lbs of snow crab, of 2 lbs of clams, 3 lbs of shrimp, 2 lobster tails, 2 lbs of sausage and a side of fries with the butter garlic seasoning. The fries were flavoring was not that great either. In summary, the service was neglectful, and the meal was mid. We paid $363 dollars for food truck service. Please do better!

Larry F.

Yelp
This place does not have their act together. I've eaten here a couple of times, and the food is pretty good. However, the last few times I've come here, there's been an issue. Once they were late opening because some of the help didn't show up. Another time they were out of shrimp. Another time, the dining room was nasty because they hadn't cleaned it up from the night before. Today, I got there at 11:47. They open at 11:30. The dude at the counter said they weren't ready to serve customers yet because they were still prepping. If you open at 11:30, you should come in earlier and prep and be ready to start serving customers at 11:30. Unless you enjoy aggravation, I cannot recommend eating here as they seem to have a serious staff and management issue

Erica L.

Yelp
My friend and I ordered delivery from here for girls night. We order a variety of things to try. We did a boil bag, hush puppies, catfish and fries. Overall taste was good for franchised cajun food. The hush pups were really good but the catfish was kind disappointing was more like beer batter fried not traditional Southern style fry batter. Overall was a good experience can't account for in store experience bc we ordered in but would go back. To try more things from them.

Frankie S.

Yelp
We arrive to an empty restaurant and told it would be a 25-30 minute wait. The hostess told us that they only had 2 servers. She told us that we could sit at the bar but there was a sign that said the bar was closed. When asked about the sign, she told us that it's always there. When she asked the bar tender, he told her that he wasn't taking customers. ??????

Aiyana R.

Yelp
As of recently the customer service has tanked and it's disappointing. The food is typically good however it's been really lackluster. The staff is rude. Even when the restaurant is not busy, trying to get an order take so long. And when asked to speak with a manager, they claimed they do not have one.

Cynthia V.

Yelp
We just had the most amazing service! This is our first time coming to this restaurant normally we go to hot and juicy but wow this restaurant was absolutely amazing. The food was great , seasoning on point, cheap beers, affordable yet amazing seafood. We came on a Saturday afternoon and they played nothing but old r&b.

Leticia V.

Yelp
We had a great time !! Juan was great!! We will definitely be back... his service was great! He was on top of everything. The food was also amazing !! Love the ambience too !!

Camille D.

Yelp
Great service and the food is always great. Nice atmosphere and the staff is the best. I come in here almost every time I'm in Vegas.

Sharon C.

Yelp
During our last visit, the wait time was pretty lengthy so we decided to dine at the bar. Josh gave us exceptional customer service. During this visit, We were blessed to have Liz. She was also exceptional. She was very attentive and provided service with a smile. We definitely will return to the establishment.

Nica T.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for crab boil! The have various options options, and a wide selection of fried baskets as well. Service is great, one of my favorite places to come. Seating is spacious and airy.

Monte R.

Yelp
We were met at the door by a guy on the phone. It got worse from there. We waited a few minutes until he hung up. He grabbed menus for my wife and me, and then answered the phone again. This time he led us to a table, while talking on the phone, motioned for us to sit, and walked away. A young woman appeared quickly, to probably take our drink orders, but was called by the guy on the phone! Meanwhile, at least four other employees ignored us completely. The ambiance was big and open with lots of room for the staff to ignore you. So, not wanting to wait until next month to get our food, we decided to leave. Next time, if I lose my mind, I'll call. Callers get more attention than customers in the store...

Yuliana Q.

Yelp
The waiter was very kind and loving I was starting to really enjoy my night .. As I was getting ready to eat my crab leg as there was mold on it and my bf told me not to eat it so I sat it down waiting till the waiter came across and told her about it and she was really helpful and gave 50 percent off the tab but it is very gross and took away my appetite ! I feel this place needs to be checked out by the health department

Yelp
We did not eat there last Saturday night due to their system being down. Their staff had a difficult time handling the situation. The front of house staff was running around trying to resolve the issue. Several other parties left before and after us.

Yelp
Came for a late lunch and enjoyed the low country boil with an extra pound of snow crab legs. We got the mild 88 special sauce and a side of garlic butter as well. The seafood was plump delicious and fresh. Loved the juicy shrimp and the snow crab. We got sides of rice as well, and let me tell you that special sauce on that rice with some crab is divine! The service was a bit slow but our server Josh did his best to keep us taken care of. The place was busy so we understand. Definitely coming back for happy hour one day soon!
