Ordered halibut, wellfleet oysters and wild North Carolina Shrimp this week. Made the shrimp on Friday with garlic, butter and hot peppers- they were flavorful and fresh, ate the oysters yesterday, they were delicious and cooked the halibut as well. Fantastic product. First time buyer but will continue to re-order. Was very happy - delivery to Manhattan was on time and done properly.

Ordered oysters from here twice (July and December) and they were delicious! The schucking process is so much fun! Also ordered the cocktail sauce, also delicious! Definitely will order again in the near future!

Delicious fish and easy home delivery. I really appreciate the way the items are packaged in plastic containers with the airtight seal. Look forward to trying other items in the coming weeks.

Great seafood. Had my first delivery yesterday and everything was fresh. Nice thoughtful packaging to ensure quality. Ordered soft shell crabs and they took care to poke a hole in the package to make sure the crabs had air. Order was missing an item but company is responsive and takes care of it for me. Will definitely order again.

First time ordering home delivery from Pierless and although they forgot half my order I’m still giving them 4stars. Can’t blame anyone really since the driver had no where to pull over and other drivers are incredibly unforgiving at stopped vehicles pulled off on the street even it they’re making life saving deliveries during this time of crisis, people just suck sometimes. (Not saying my fish delivery was life saving just a general analogy). Pierless made it right and re-delivered my order the next day with fresh fish. The wild caught PEI mussels were fresh and nicely packed in tubs but did require extra cleaning vs what I normally get from the net bags at the monger. Not too many died, found some barnacles and rocks too but generally good quality. Frozen Salmon was incredibly fresh and vacuum packed. I think the frozen in vacuum pack is the way to go and also a great buy. Great for freezing/storing. We also purchased fresh halibut which was packed in a sealed plastic tub. Haven’t eaten yet. I frozen it. But I would opt for the frozen pack next time. Fresh Scallops were large didn’t shrink too much after cooking. The 16/20 wild caught NC shrimp however nicely packed and sealed in a plastic tub container was not our favorite. This is where I withdrew one star. Although really fresh, these shrimps are treated with STPP and tasted chemically and texture was crunchy after cooking. It was cooked to perfection btw and still tasted off. There was also considerable shrinking. To recap, I’d definitely recommend home delivery from Pierless Fish. Opt for frozen if possible, get the fresh scallops or mussels if you can stand to put in some elbow grease and forgo the 16/20 STPP shrimp.

I’ve been getting home delivery from Pierless for the past few months. The seafood is incredibly fresh & excellent quality. I highly recommend ordering from them. The website was clunky and difficult to use initially, but they’ve completely revamped it. It’s now a user friendly, pleasant experience. The only thing that could be improved is the delivery window is basically all day.

I own and operate a Meineke shop on Coney Island Ave in Brooklyn. I repair the delivery trucks for Pierless Fish Company. I have been in the repair industry for over 30 years. There trucks are the cleanest I have ever seen. They do not have any fish odor And are clean inside and out. We order online for home delivery - we always order the Ora King salmon - only once one of the packages had an issue but mostly very consistent- delivery was always on time and generally never had issues - Manhattan delivery seems to be free for order greater than $100 -

Pierless Fish Corp offers painless fish delivery to Brooklyn and Manhattan dwellers looking to receive restaurant quality seafood straight to their door for unbeatable prices. Of course I would prefer that we were not in the middle of a panorama but one silver lining is that businesses like Pierless whose products would've been inaccessible to plebeian folks like me pre-panorama, have now pivoted from wholesale to direct to consumer delivery. Their online ordering process is straight-forward and they actually delivered the fish in the window of time promised. They even sent over email and text updates when they were on their way to my home. I ordered three kinds of fish for poke-- salmon, tuna, and hamachi. They came already diced in large pieces and extremely fresh. This alone lasted me over 4 meals throughout the week and was well worth the $19 just for the poke fish. I also ordered an enormous sashimi grade tuna loin that I used to make a delicious tuna tataki, and have so much leftover that I'm freezing the rest. The 1 lb of cod I got made for an amazing miso cod that I ate with my lunch all week as well. The tobiko I got came in a little jar and added a touch of sweetness and texture to my poke. I really couldn't be happier with the value and freshness of the fish from Pierless. Everything was packaged neatly and the cuts were so clean it made making fish at home so approachable. Thanks to them I can feel like a seasoned sushi chef in my own home.

Free shipping for over $100- I was in their local delivery area tho so not sure if this changes if you are outside of queens. I imagine it is still free shipping over $100 but just fyi. Fish was really well packaged and the delivery was within the time slow. I got text updates as well. Great for fresh fish and sashimi!!! The crab meat is delicious as well- made wonderful crab toast with aioli. I had a huge sushi craving so I got a bunch of different fish- salmon, tuna, hamachi, uni. I also got some caviar to treat myself. 10/10 would recommend!

Pierless is a godsend during this pandemic! So far I have ordered twice and both times the seafood was incredibly fresh. All the seafood come in nice sealed packages and they even let you know via text when they are in the neighborhood with your delivery. First time I ordered trigger fish fillets, Carolina Shrimps and crawfish. Never made 2 of the 3 items before at home but with time on our hands, mighty as well experiment. The winner of this order was the trigger fish. I ordered 2lbs for 3 of us. We were able to get 2 meals out of it. First was easy pan fried filet. The second, blacked fish tacos. Both delicious, both devoured by the family. This week I ordered again and got fish for sashimi! Never done that before but after a few you tube videos we were off to experiment. Another Great meal and the fish was definitely sushi grade as advertised. Pierless has me eating much more seafood! Can't wait to order again.

The pandemic had all of us craving fish and the omega fatty acids that come with them. They had much better prices than, say, Our Harvest, and were very easy to get delivery to Manhattan. Our favorites: salmon, wild tuna, clams and shrimp.

So by know this review is over due. During lock down in May, we order sushi grade salmon and it was very good. Actually we knew about this place as restaurant order their sushi grade fish from them. Normally it would be expensive and they would not deliver small orders. Now post covid they need business and so the average consumer can buy from them and get it delivered home. There is a minimum charge of $60 + a delivery charge. If you can buy $100, then there is free delivery so its totally worth it. This is now the 2nd time we order the following: 1- Tuna loin A grade sushi 1.24 lbs 1- Hamachi collar 2.25 lbs fatty yellowtail collar, excellent for grilling! 1- Hamachi center cut 1lb 1- Madal filet 1lb 1- Ora King Salmon center cut filet 1- Tobikko red 3 oz 1- Scottish Salmon center cut filet 1lb We didnt order the sushi grade rice from them as we found it at a Korean market near my house for less. I also bought pickled ginger and wasabi from the korean markets. When we cut it everything down to bite size, i will post a picture. I can tell you the salmon was and is and excellent product, as I am not having it for the second time. The Hamachi will be grilled over charcoal to give it a nice smoky flavor. I never had Madai fish and if I did nobody told me.. lol Anyways, my family is looking forward to sushi night tomorrow so it should be a hot since we had to also learn how to slice and cut fish properly so it can be served in bite size pieces. Under normal circumstances, i would rather eat at Sushi Jin and watch the master sushi chef skillfully cut and serve the best Japan had to offer. However, now the entertainment happens in my house as we research what type of fish to buy and how to slice it. Although, the truth is we are light years away from becoming masters but we are lucky that we can still have sushi at home from our friends at Pierless.. By the way our order was placed Monday morning and it arrived today Tuesday by 11am. Normally we place the order in the afternoon and it gets here late in the evening but we got lucky today. we also included a generous tip for the driver as part of the bill, over all we spent about $165 and its well worth it, as the quality of the fish is important and we can trust their products 100%.

In fact, Pierless Fish Co is one of the limited number of suppliers charging accurately for their lobsters! Their products come in sealed packages and delivery is free over a certain amount (I believe over $60 to manhattan, brooklyn and some parts of queens...check their website). The lobsters were fresh and lively and polished off yesterday. The shrimp were fresh and fair-sized and taken care of today. The salmon are in the freezer scheduled for the weekend and the lobster pieces are being saved for sauces and bisques. Thank you Pierless Fish Co for improvising by selling to individuals during this challenging time, I hope your business survives this pandemic and that business comes back better than ever!

Pierless is such an amazing way to treat yourself during the quarantine. The delivery is free when you make an order above $100. The delivery crew is always on time, plus they packed the seafood very well. No leaking at all. The fish from the sushi trio is vets good quality. We made sashimi and hand roll from it. The scallop is also very good quality. We grilled and barely put any seasoning. The taste of it is extremely sweet and fresh. Better than one I had in any restaurant. Highly recommend this place. We will def place a order again.

I put an online order for some seafood on Dec 7th and haven't heard from them since then. The package should be delivered on Dec 11. It has been about two weeks now. And my credit is being charged. I tried to call their customer service at least 10 times, no one has answered yet. I also emailed them twice, no respond. I sent a message to their Facebook account, and the message was viewed but no respond. What happened here? Is this a scam?

Pierless Fish is one of the huge win/awesome discovery/gee I hope they don't stop delivering to homes businesses we've enjoyed during this period that shall remain nameless. We are fish snobs. I used to ride 2 1/2 miles each way to get great fish from the fish store 2 neighborhoods over rather than walk the one block to what seems to be the well-liked fish store nearby - we eat our fish mostly raw so it's really important to us that it be very high quality. Pierless is just that. Their sushi grade sea bream is a revelation. Tuna, hamachi, salmon...all excellent. Fantastic shrimp that takes like it was just netted in North Carolina. Excellent crab legs...everything we've had from Pierless is fabulous. If you can't make the $100 free delivery minimum, make friends with your neighbor and order together. Pierless will benefit from the extra business. Or order some extras for the freezer - if you go for the varieties that require cooking, they will be a delightful discovery next week when you need an easy and simple meal to throw together. Pierless is truly peerless. Tremendously high quality fish. I hope they will continue to deliver direct to consumers for years to come.

I was so pleased with my experience ordering from Pierless. Their website was very easy to navigate, and prices were reasonable. My order arrived the following day, with updates via text. The fish and shellfish that I ordered was all beautiful, fresh and tasty. My only complaint is that everything came in plastic tubs (other than some frozen fish that I also ordered), which is great for keeping the smells inside the packaging, but not so hot environmentally. I'd preferred paper wrapping. But that's a small complaint. I will definitely be ordering again, especially because they were out of the frozen shrimp! I hope that Pierless continues with home delivery even after the pandemic ends because I live in a neighborhood with no good fish monger.

The quality and prices can't be beat. I've never seen such delicious fish even in the most expensive fish stores in nyc It is expensive restaurant caliber fish at everyday low price. Packaged beautifully and delivered. What a find!!

Pierless is Peerless. The fish has been outstanding. In the midst of this pandemic they have delivered their fish on time. Great customer service. Thank you Is it the fish or my cooking? Last night I used their clams to make a clam sauce with linguine. Their fish is "off the hook". Fresh and delicious, I may become a pescatarian.

Amazing fresh seafood that's better than Wholefoods and local fish shops! The price is really reasonable and it's so easy to choose the day you want delivery. Everything from there has been great so if you love seafood, check this place out!

Their fish is some of the best available in NY. They have an online shop which I have not tried yet, because I buy their fish at the Park Slope Food Coop. The only thing the options available at the Food Coop are not many, so if you want to be more creative in the kitchen or try different types of fish, or simply because you are not a FC member. then the online shop is the answer! The fish I tried so far: - fish trio (scallops, baby Calamari, shrimps) - NZ Ora king salmon - Albacore Tuna - Yelowfin Tuna - Hake Except the salmon which comes from far away but it's the best I ever had, the rest is local and wild and pretty seasonal I think.

At a time when I've been disappointed in the service and products of many delivery services, Pierless Fish is a godsend. My delivery arrived early, the quality of the fish and seafood was impeccable and the prices were reasonable. Their website is easy to use and ordering is simple. So happy to have found them!

With us all in lockdown due to coronavirus, I am SO THANKFUL for Pierless Fish's new home delivery service. We (family of four) ordered 2 lbs of arctic char, 2 lbs of halibut, and 2 lbs of swordfish. It came the next day, nicely packaged. We froze the arctic char and halibut, and cooked the swordfish right away. it was sooo delicious!
