All The Christkindlmarket Food Stalls, Ranked - Chicago - The Infatuation

"These gummy potato-and-cheese dumplings from Pierogi House are not entirely unappealing, thanks to the heroic efforts of bacon bits, sauteed onions, and a hefty squirt of sour cream. One order won’t fill you up, but it will give you enough energy to battle the Sweet Castle line." - john ringor, veda kilaru, nick allen, adrian kane

This is a must try if you’re in or near the greater Cleveland area. Their food is amazing. Service is very good. And if your Eastern European it tastes like your grandmothers homemade cooking. This place deserves a 6 start rating and the staff deserves a 10.

The people are excellent. The food is awesome and plenty for the price. I usually get the corned beef but purchased the steak Philly today. The meat was so tender. They will make it any way you want.

I recently visited Pierogi House, and I can't stop raving about it! The pierogi were absolutely delicious - homemade and cooked to perfection. It's a charming family-owned spot is casual yet welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a hearty meal. If you're a fan of pierogi, this is definitely the best place to indulge. Highly recommend!

This was my first visit with my friend and we both enjoyed the experience. This is pretty much an owner run shop. Everything on the menu is homemade in house. Breakfast is served all day. The pierogi are plump and delicious. They do come in different flavors so check them out. We had the potato and cheese with eggs for our breakfast choice. This came with 3 good sized pierogi, 2 eggs and a large Texas toast. We also added an order of potato pancakes which were also delicious. The coffee was a cinnamon flavor in a help yourself carafe. Very good and not overpowering. We definitely got enough to eat and even bought more pierogi to go. They have been in business for only 6 months and could use some exposure. There are homemade soups and sandwiches to go. A few tables are available to dine in. You can't go wrong with anything you get here. Extensive hours so stop by anytime. Very friendly owner who is cooking your food.

Pierogi house is an amazing spot with an excellent menu to dine in and a great deli menu and grocery to shop for items to bring home. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and happy to speak with you about their offerings. Highly recommend checking it out. It’s places like this that make Cleveland special.

As I'm sitting here eating the leftover pierogis, figured I'd share my review 🥟😁 While I was in Parma snagging some tasty baked goods for Valentine's Day, I checked Maps for any thrift stores in the area. Two stores popped up in a plaza, but what caught my eye was a business named "Pierogi House" 👀 So I set my gps to head there... They DID NOT disappoint! The owners were working the kitchen - one peeling potatoes and the other working the grill. I ordered a chicken gyro and a 6 pack of potato & cheese pierogi. Wow 😳 The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned. I'm pretty sure that they add feta (and maybe red pepper?) to their tzatziki, because it was packed with all kinda flavors! Stuffed so full, it burst out the side of the pita 💥 They are served with fresh, seasoned potato wedges. I love the seasoning as it reminds me of what the Russian owner of the Italian restaurant in Hollywood Beach, sprinkles on his breakfast potatoes. The pierogies were massive - 6 pack weighed just under 2 lbs - served with fresh grilled onions and packed with a delicious cheesy mashed potato filling. Best part: Gyro combo was $10 and the 6 pack pierogi was only $7.99! They had said that they just recently switched over from a market to restaurant and business was ok but far from great. After eating their food, it can only be because ppl don't know about them... Cuz that ish was DELICIOUS 🤤 So go check em out and after you do, tell all your friends to do the same. I'm gonna be real salty if this place closes!!

Yelp
Nice, clean and welcoming newer restaurant. They serve breakfast starting at 7:00 am. I stopped by about 6:30 pm to check out their pierogi. Impressive size. I ordered 1/2 dozen of the potato and cheese pierogi served with butter and onions with a side of sour cream. The potatoes were perfect. I can't wait to stop for breakfast !!! And, I want to try their Corned Beef sandwich. Thanks for opening your restaurant in the Parma area (Parma Hts to be exact).

Yelp
We stopped in to get some handmade frozen pierogi, we chose the sweet cheese type since we have not had that flavor before. The owners were there making a fresh batch of potato filled pierogi since they were sold out. They have lots of pre made items, a deli meat case with all types of cured meats, and a small grocery store. Friendly staff. They have a small seating area, next time we would like to stop in for a meal or Sunday breakfast.

Yelp
Went for something different. Very good, large, stuffed pierogi's. The kielbasa was very good. The potato pancakes crispy and flavorful. We'll be back

Yelp
What a great new addition to Parma Hts. Take home meals as well as hot breakfast and lunch menus. The owners are very nice and will answer any questions. The place is immaculately clean. Hell, you could eat off of the floor, it's that clean. The food is amazing. I've had a gyro, potato pancakes, beef stroganoff, chicken paprikash w/ spatzels and pierogis. All were excellent,

Yelp
I loved the Pirogi breakfast- the potato cheese pirogis were double the size you would find anywhere else and delicious. Also they came with eggs which were the best tasting scrambled eggs ever. I wonder what their secret is. The place is very clean. They also have fresh packaged food items to buy and in an adjoining room large bags of pirogis to buy and take home. The place is very clean and spotless, they also serve lunch which I will be back to try.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this gem while on the hunt for the best paczki in Cleveland around Fat Tuesday. I'm obsessed with pierogi and any chance I can try and authentic, homemade one, I'm all in. Pierogi House did NOT disappoint. We got six potato and cheese pierogi and watched one of the owners cook them on the flat top right in front of us. The container had to have weighed 3-4 pounds and just six pierogi fed two of us. That's how BIG they are. The dough and filling were absolutely incredible. I travel for work often, and making a stop here on my way home from CLE is now an absolute must.

Yelp
The food was as good as my mother used to make. The owners are very helpful and friendly.
