Absolutely one of the top Italian dining experiences in the entire DMV area. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is inviting—elegant yet cozy—with attentive staff that truly elevate the experience. The menu is outstanding across the board. We’ve tried their soups, pizzas, pastas, and wines—and everything is consistently exceptional. The soups are rich and flavorful, perfect starters that set the tone for the meal. Their pizzas are some of the best we’ve had—thin, crisp, wood-fired crusts with perfectly balanced toppings. They also offer gluten-free options that don’t compromise on taste or texture, which is a rare find. The pasta is simply outstanding—freshly made, cooked al dente, and served with sauces that are clearly crafted with care and quality ingredients. Whether it’s a classic marinara, a creamy truffle, or a spicy arrabbiata, they’ll happily adjust the spice level to your preference, which shows their attention to guest satisfaction. Their wine selection is thoughtfully curated, with options to pair beautifully with every dish on the menu. Ask for recommendations—the staff knows their list well and won’t steer you wrong. What really seals the experience is the service. The team is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely hospitable. Every visit feels personal and welcoming. Whether you're going for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or just craving good Italian food, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend—this restaurant has definitely earned a spot on my go-to list.

Known of this place a while ago but never go a chance to visit til today. I’m glad I did! The food is amazing! The carbonara is rich, noodles are soft and slightly chewy, plenty of pancetta! It’s heaven on a plate! The spaghetti cince terre was good and reminiscing of the seafood pasta in Venice! If you like good Italian, Piero’s corner is where it it!

We hired Chef Piero to host a private event at our J&L Interiors showroom for an Italian wine tasting. We worked with Gian Piero to help curate a menu that would pair with the wines being served. Gian was creative in his recommendations to create the perfect menu. Not only was the food delicious, but it was beautifully plated. The night was perfect! Thank you for your culinary expertise and excellent service!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piero's Corner, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The **America pizza** was a masterpiece, with perfectly crispy crust and a delectable combination of toppings that made each bite a joy. The **garlic bread** was wonderfully buttery and bursting with flavor, an ideal complement to the pizza. Paired with a crisp, refreshing **white wine**, the meal was elevated to another level of enjoyment. To top it all off, the **pecan pie** was a sweet ending that left my taste buds wanting more. The customer service was impeccable. Paul my waiter went above and beyond to ensure I had everything we needed, and co-owner Rachel's warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome and appreciated. Their dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience is evident in every detail. The restaurant and bathrooms were very mod and impeccably clean! Piero's Corner continues to be my go-to spot for an authentic and thoroughly enjoyable Italian meal. Highly recommended! 🌟🍕🍷🥧 PS- they have an amazing Thanksgiving meal catering option this year! Very cool!

Google
What a great find! I happened across this while searching for Italian food and was blown away. Such a cozy place, great service, and most importantly great food! Very reasonable prices for the NOVA area. The owner even stopped by to say hi. Will definitely be returning!

Google
Amazing Italian place for dine in. There pasta’s are damn delicious. They have huge collection wines and they sell their own made wines too. The compliment bread was so warm and fresh that we can’t resist. It came with a dip of olive oil and pesto and was so delicious. The margheritta pizza was good but not a win win when compared with their pastas. I tried their mushroom sauce no meat for cheese raviolis pasta and was so so good. Even I’m having a watery mouth imagine that. Must try it.

Fresh pasta!!! Truly Italian place!!! Great atmosphere!!!! The owner was here and she is Italian. Spoke fluently and is so kind to her staff too. This was my second time here and she is something for other business owners to take note from. Authentic, genuine, and quality over quantity. Impressive. And got to see one of her children working too… love the family vibe and how the passion runs deep in this place. And it shows in the food. Drink: pictured- Tinta Sangria : this was amazing. I can taste my fav, the grand marnier! Well blended pinot noir and really refreshing. For my second drink I went with a recommended house ciante (sorry for my spelling) and it was very pleasant. Food: bucitini carbonara -pictured : fresh pasta made daily. And it really was. I added shrimp to mine. I know it’s non traditional but I was curious. Been in a seafood vibe lately. Shrimp cooked to perfection. Great sear. Well seasoned. And pasta cooked delicious. Sauce traditional. Side: The bread was insanely good. Seriously fresh. I was impressed. Had to peel myself away from devouring it. Prices worth it. I’ll have to come back for more!!!!

Yelp
Back again for a lunch. This is clearly the "local" for many patrons. We were first here many years ago. Good to see a restaurant that has survived and has a loyal following. The service was friendly and good. The portions are lunch time were large and I took home half of the entree. The lemon cello cake was fantastic; nice presentation and a wonderful finish to the meal.

Yelp
Definitely some of the best, if not the best, Italian in Fairfax!! Great place for rare dishes, many specials and a great bar!! This restaurant works for a date night or a family dinner - the staff is great and the space is always busy!! You'll love it!!

Yelp
I have lived by this place for YEARS and I had never tried it for some reason but ever since I've been back from Italy I've been craving vongole pasta and went with a friend. There is plenty of parking and it is a very cute place and decorated well. It was crowded on a Thursday night so you know it's good. We ordered the grilled octopus salad which was delicious ! And the vongole pasta was so good. I personally would have liked the pasta a little more al dente but the taste and the clams weee excellent. The price is not crazy either so I will be back!

Yelp
I can't believe we came here for the very first time after living in Herndon for years. We have gone to almost every establishment in the shopping center and was always curious of this one as it was always busy on a Friday night and the weekends. This is definitely a place where the locals gather to eat delicious Italian food and see their friends and buddies for a fun evening out. The servers are so friendly and attentive and they know their patrons as many of them seem to be regulars. The hostess graciously fitted us in on a Saturday evening and service was spectacular. We like the variety of options in the kids menu and the affordable prices. Our kids enjoyed their butter pasta and rainbow pizza (in the shape of rainbow fish). My husband's bucatini carbonara was the favorite dish of the evening. The noodles were cooked al dente and the sauce was creamy, flavorful, and just absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed their seafood pasta where each piece of seafood was fresh and not tough to chew, including the calamari and mussels. This is easily our new favorite spot for Italian food in the area.

Yelp
We shared a meal of linguine with white clamp sauce and it was excellent best I've had in a long time. We also got the side dish of portobello mushrooms, which we were able to blend with the clams and it was wonderful. The service was great that people were friendly. I really recommend it.

Yelp
Honestly, I was surprised at how yummy the pasta was! We made a reservation, I'm glad we did. This little hole in the wall gets packed!!! The food takes a while to make once ordered, but very worth the wait. For starters we got the complimentary bread 4/10 - basic Greek salad 6/10 For main course we ordered the Carbonara 10/10 pasta al forno 7/10 Dessert Tiramisu 6/10 Overall, I'd come back for the Carbonara.

Yelp
Food and service was great. Food came out hot and every dish was so tasty. Even the bread basket was delicious. We had to stop ourselves so we wouldn't get full off the bread. I thoroughly enjoyed the flounder special. The fish had a nice crisp top with spinach and thin noodles. I finished the entire dish, so good. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their dish and spoke about coming again. I've gone here before for lunch and had their pizzas which were also delicious.

Chris R.

Yelp
Food and service was excellent. Located in a strip shopping center so a very nice surprise.

Yelp
Came here with a friend to catch up. The staff was very nice and helpful; they checked up on us frequently. It wasn't too busy on a Wednesday evening, and it has a much more intimate vibe to it. The Carciofi Fritti was a delightful, light appetizer to start with and the accompanying tartar sauce helped cut the oiliness and the touch of arugula helped balance the oiliness of the fried artichoke. Ravioli Croccanti had so much cheese, the cheese pull was chefs kiss. It also came with warm bread and the herbal oil mixture was light. Overall, a pretty good, relaxing dinner.

Yelp
Hidden in an ordinary strip mall is this charming, family run gem.Huge portions, hot fresh bread, homemade pasta, delicious meatballs and rockfish. Our server Evie was helpful with suggestions and questions. We lingered over wine but never felt rushed. For a casual meal out of spaghetti and meatballs to a memorable family gathering over seafood- This is a reliably good choice.

Yelp
Made reservations here last October for a special birthday celebration, party of 6. Food was ok, nothing special, but service was awful. We waited almost an hour to get 5 of the meals that were ordered. The 6th meal (a pizza) did not arrive for another half hour, long after the rest of us were finished eating!! (Not much fun for the person who had to watch everyone else eat & then eat alone!) Also very disappointing -- not so much as a birthday cupcake was offered to the person who was celebrating the special birthday, (when almost every restaurant offers at least something small with a candle to any patron celebrating any year birthday). Definitely was not a good choice of restaurant for a special celebration!

Yelp
The food was delicious and we are regular diners here. One note: we ordered mussels (we always Dias they are fabulous). However, they have completely changed the size of the order. In the past, we couldn't finish the mussels. There were so many. Not tonight. They didn't raise the price, but they changed the portion size. And that was a disappointment.

Yelp
Piero's is a favorite amongst myself, my family and my friends. It's one of those places that feels like home when you walk in, even if you're just popping in to pick up a pizza, and I'm not even local! Not to mention, the food is great too! I love coming by for a light lunch, sitting down for a hearty Italian dinner, or ordering a Piero's pizza for rainy movie night in.

Charles B.

Yelp
We tried Piero's previously and had a less than great experience. We tried again and it was great. Excellent service and food. Nice atmosphere too. Get the homemade ravioli and the lasagna. Well done guys.

Yelp
Decided to try out Piero's with a few friends of mine, since we always pass by this place on the way home. Well, I can't believe we haven't heard of this place sooner! The Food: The food was incredibly delicious! Piero's definitely shot up to one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area so far. The quality of the homemade pasta, the freshness of the seafood and how the overall dishes were so well built. All the dishes we had were perfect. I went with the "Bucatini Carbonara", and man was it incredibly. From the creamy sauce, to the pasta itself. It was to die for. All dishes well portioned out as well! Notable mentions are the fried calamari, absolutely amazing. From the light batter that is fried perfectly. It was one of the best apps there. The Service: Service was absolutely great! The staff were so welcoming and patient with our big group. Everyone was so friendly and it really felt like a nice family restaurant. Water refills and occasional check ups were consistent as well. Amazing service. The Atmosphere: Italian aesthetic that is tastefully decorated. very spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Definitely gives off that homey and family feel. Overall, a 5/5! My friends and I had such a great experience here! From the amazing food to such a warm/welcoming group of staff members. I'll be back again for sure!

Yelp
My girlfriend was feeling like having pasta so we decided on Piero's. We had never been here so it was nice to find somewhere new. We started with the free bread which doesn't come with butter but rather a pesto & oil mixture. She didn't care for it but I liked it. We then shared a Greek salad as an appetizer but my one complaint is that it was far too drenched in dressing. It left an almost overly salty taste with each bite. For main courses I ordered the carbonara and added chicken and my girlfriend ordered the pasta along with forno which is essentially a baked ziti. We both agreed that the carbonara was the better of the two. The pasta tasted better and had a different consistency. Highly recommend the carbonara. The Al forno was very good as well, it just was in an unfair fight from the beginning. We finished with a tiramisu. It was a very large slice for the price. It was fluffy and light but still quite delicious. The service was good. Our waitress was busy but still made sure to stop by for refills and to check on us. For a Friday night, a reservation is recommended. It was quite busy when we got there at 8:20 so thankfully we had an 8:30 reservation. The ambiance definitely feels cozy. There's a local feel to it that's hard to describe but it's nice. The bar top overlooks the pizza oven as well as a chalk board with drink specials on it. There's also a private dining area you can reserve for special events! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I would happily go back. They also have lunch deals M-F so if you don't want a large serving, that could be the move for you.

Yelp
Excellent Italian comfort food at a reasonable price in a neighborhood strip mall. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Had a great Father's Day brunch with my family. We always need outdoor seating bc we bring our fur babies along. I called 20 mins before their opening and I was so thrilled that they were able to accommodate our request to seat us 5 adults and a baby. Service was awesome and I'd say the food was mostly good. I'd take off half a star for the amount of grease/oil I had in the shrimp fra diavolo. I honestly chose it bc it was on the gf healthy menu- the pasta was subbed for spaghetti squash which I was so excited to try bc I love healthier options when provided. I was disappointed when my dish came out looking the oiliest - maybe it's bc I asked to add spicy sausage? Even then- I did see another dish on that same part of the menu (Jerry) mentioned spicy sausage- so I thought it'd be good to add it to this dish. I maybe finished half that dish but everyone else was quite content with the meal. The vongole was fresh clams- not the canned ones I've seen be served at other restaurants. Making the trip from McLean was worth it (20 mins is a long time to hear a baby screaming in a packed car). Also, the hospitality was par. I'd go again.

Yelp
Great portions for delicious food at an affordable price !! We got various dishes ranging from pasta, pizza, risotto, etc. Everything was delicious and it was a great portion to share among people. We got all the dishes below for 7 people and left full plus some leftovers for tomorrow. Service was good. Food came out fast and we were checked up on pretty often. Note: I guess it was relatively busy but it did take us awhile to get menus but regardless, overall service was good! Overall, would recommend to come. Also, bring an appetite as you will have lots of foods to eat!

Yelp
One of the best run restaurants in the area, Piero's operates like a well oiled machine. All of the servers and runners are really good at their jobs and they know the menu through and through. The food is excellent and the portions will not leave you hungry, that's for sure. The bread is outstanding as well. We have been to Piero's Corner several times lately and each time we have a better experience than the last. I've had the fettucine alfredo, the chicken marsala, and the last time we were there the waiter started telling me about a seafood linguini with clams, shrimp, mussels...and that's as far as he got before I said "I'll take it" and it was fantastic. I almost couldn't finish it, but I gutted it out because I'm not a quitter. My wife always gets the chicken parmigiana, refuses to try anything else (bad for her) and even though it's fantastic, she can never finish it (good for me!). Also, I really like the minestrone to start off and the Caesar salads are always fresh and tasty. When it comes to service and quality, any restaurant owner who is struggling should call Piero and ask how to run a restaurant.

Yelp
Great bread, nice wine, the soup was great and the lasagna phenomenal. Excretion was pleased. Others enjoyed ravioli and spicy sausage.

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing service, and wonderful homey atmosphere! Came here Friday night for a quaint dinner date and we were pleased from the get go. We were sat almost immediately even though they were busy, and greeted shortly after. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu, and we didn't wait long at all for our orders. He did a great job on checking on us every now and then, and the food overall was amazing. What sent their service above and beyond was when the owner himself came to check on us, and he was just as kind! I'm not one to always enjoy family friendly places but there was something about this place that really made it feel just so comforting and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Iren V.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ended up here because we were starving early on a Friday evening and were able to get a reservation. When we drove to the place we were skeptical since it's in a strip mall but oh were we mistaken. This place has great ambience and we were fortunate to have gotten a table. The place was completely packed by the time we left and I can absolutely see why. This is a hidden gem that we will continue to visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, service and ambiance. Piero's is a perfect place to meet my clients for lunch or dinner.
google avatar

Meredith B.

Yelp
Lovely little place, and worth the drive from across town to eat here, without question. The staff are unfailingly sweet and very attentive to just how much you are enjoying your meal, too. They have a sixth sense for knowing if something is slightly off, and will sweep in and fix anything they can. Not that there is often a great deal to fix. The food is pretty immaculate, and I'm extremely fond. As someone who really goes to the same place twice because I feel compelled to try all the variety, this one is definitely a repeat, more than once. I particularly enjoyed the pasta al funghi I had, and was quite pleased with the wine pairing they suggested.
google avatar

Nicholas R.

Yelp
Some of the best Italian cuisine I've tasted and I'm a very picky eater! Superb service as well and fairly priced. Highly recommend. We ate here two nights this week and I can't heap enough praise on the chef and entire staff! They accommodated my elderly father immediately with seating and satisfied an off the menu request without hesitation. This is an outstanding restaurant in every sense of the word! I do recommend reservations on wknds especially.

Sharon D.

Yelp
Homemade noodles LOVE! Make a reservation. Everyone is a VIP. Great wine selection. Cozy.

Yelp
Love their Eggplant Rollantino and Gnocchi alla Gorgonzola. They are the best I've tasted in the DC area.

Yelp
First I want to say I am truly surprised at the recent below par reviews of Piero's Corner. I have been dining in and ordering takeout for years and trust me, it takes a lot for me to leave a 5 star review. I would also kindly advise others to be a bit more understanding during the holidays. Many businesses are understaffed during this time and it's very common. It also shows that the owner is compassionate and allows his employees time off to see family etc even at a cost to the restaurant. Anyway, I'm my opinion, this is the best Italian restaurant in the area. Anytime I have dined in they have had amazing customer service. The owner will also stop by the table to check in which is appreciated. I have never had a bad or bland tasting dish from this restaurant. The sauce they use for their spaghetti is literally the best tasting sauce I've ever had. It's so good that I'm actually going to be checking if they sell jars of it. Last night I called to place a pickup order. I think I spoke with the owner because he was so enthusiastic and so helpful. We ordered the meatball appetizer, sunday sausage appetizer, carbonara( owner suggested to add blackened chicken to it and we loved it), as well as Campanelle alla russa which I asked to have with angel hair pasta. Everything turned out fantastic and we will continue to come back to Piero's :)

Vivian W.

Yelp
Live in this area for decades, never stopped by at this restaurant before. For some reason, I don't believe the good reviews, until I ordered something for carry out today. Surprisingly, simple food like pasta and pizza can be so delicious. Will be back for sure!

Debora M.

Yelp
Piero's Corner is our favorite Italian restaurant! We consistently enjoy a delicious meal and look forward to coming back each time. The staff is always friendly and ensures we have everything we need. I usually lock in on a delicious meal and with Piero, I have tried a new meal each time. Now I have a selection to choose from. Thank you!

Elmer E H.

Yelp
Rachel is always a smiling face who greets us. Great happy hour specials at the bar. Our favorite local "mom & pop" Italian Restraunt that makes everything fresh from scratch!!!!

Sonia M.

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant! Great food and service. Lovely ambiance. Manager and staff are caring and always attentive. AAA+

Savanna R.

Yelp
Piero's has quickly become my favorite restaurant in the area. The pizza is the best around, the ambiance is intimate and warm, and the service is always 10 out of 10. We were served by Evelyn tonight and she was great. Perfect amount of attentiveness and warmness. The owner or management is also great. Also great prices on wine which is getting expensive in many restaurants in the area.

Lupe B.

Yelp
I had pasta with meat sauce and a small Greek salad. Both were delicious. Staff is very friendly. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Parking: absolutely not a problem! It is located in Franklin farms shopping center (with Giant), so there is a ton of free parking. Seating: they have a lot of seats inside. They can also seat large parties. They also take reservations for big parties or any size parties. I went one hot summer day, and their air condition was very weak, so my table was sweating while we were eating. We had to asked for cups of ice just to drink ice water. Food: the food was not the best. It was very bland and everyone at my table had to add more salt or pepper. I think the food could have been better for how much the prices were. Bathroom: the restrooms are clean! Price: it is quite pricey. I personally did not think the food was worth the price. It was way more expensive than the actual quality of the food. Service: our server was very helpful and patient. At the end of our meal, the manager came to our table and checked in to make sure everything was good too! Their service is very good!

Yelp
What a fabulous gem! Make sure to request Michael as he is incredible at service! He has 30 years under his belt and serves with a smile! What an incredible light! The ambiance is super cute too! Yummmmmmyyyyyyyy food Jill Vaca

Yelp
Such a nice restaurant. Cozy, beautiful, nice atmosphere. The chef definitely has the high standard for Italian food. All of the food's presentation is so beautiful, the taste is fantastic, the staffs are so nice and friendly.

Yelp
Piero's Corner is a good Italian restaurant. Good food, good service and nice ambiance. An ok by the glass wine selection with an ok bottle selection. You'll find a glass or bottle that should satisfy your palate. They were out of a couple of wines by the glass when I went so I had a substitute wine that I did not finish. The food was good and portions were sufficient. Overall I liked my experience at Piero's and will be a repeat customer when I'm in town. Piero's is a recommend.

Hafsa M.

Yelp
In celebrating my son's graduation from prek, he wanted some Italian food, and this is what we chose. The host and server were both great and welcoming and seated us right away. We started with the calamari. It was perfectly fried, not too much breading paired with the dipping sauce. The kids spaghetti and meatball was a generous portion, he had enough to take home. My shrimp scampi came with jumbo sized shrimp and was delicious. To end our celebration we opted for the tiramisu, which was made in house. It was decadent and very flavorful and ended our meal with the perfect sweet note. Overall I would definitely recommend this Italian restaurant.

Yelp
The food is amazing, great neopolitan style pizza. Servers are attentive and the decor is great.

Yelp
Great neighborhood restaurant that has wonderful food. We go on a regular basis or their great food and this week with a neighborhood friend to celebrate her birthday. Food and service has been consistently good. Thank you.

Yelp
The food was very typical Italian dishes that you see in most restaurant. We all had pasta and dishes, didn't try the pizza. The place was busy that food came out slow (on a Saturday), but servers were friendly. It is good for "i don't want to cook nights"
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
UPDATE: Tried the spaghetti with garlic and oil without the peppers and LOVED it. Best I've had in a long time. Fried calamari was great, too.

Jack F.

Yelp
We go to Piero's Corner for dinner most Saturday evenings because the food is wonderful and the service is Top Notch. We have NEVER been disappointed!!

Yelp
Amazing dinner at Piero's. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Loved the house made pasta. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back to try other dishes.

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff, one of our family all-time favorite spots. Strongly recommend Pieros for an awesome time!

Yelp
I love coming to Piero's with the family for an authentic Italian meal. Their pasta is homemade and I've enjoyed all of the dishes I've tried. They offer free bread with an herbed oil dip. The service is top notch and very friendly.

Yelp
Delicious food and excellent service, even though we had a slight wait for a table with a reservation. The hostess bent over backward even though we had to wait, and one of the managers walking around was super helpful and super friendly. Made for a great meal and a pleasant atmosphere! The Sea Bass with seafood and spaghetti in a light tomato sauce was delicious and a fantastic special for the night. My friend got spaghetti with a giant meatball, and it looked excellent. We split a huge and wonderful Tiramisu for dessert. Luckily our server said it was huge, and it was--an excellent way to end the meal. Highly recommend a visit to Piero's Corner. I will be back soon.
