Wonderful family owned pizza place. Location is a tad difficult with it being on College Ave and traffic/drivers suck depending on the time of day, so I recommend parking on the same side of the road as Pierri’s if it’s possible. Either way, once you are inside You will be glad you went! Pizzas made as you order. Reasonable pricing. Great friendly helpful smiling staff! Clean and family friendly atmosphere. Take out frozen pizzas are extremely popular as well as dining in. Special, handmade, fresh, delicious, and your business is appreciated- it shows! Great place!

I came to Pierri Pizza expecting to have another halfway decent pie that seems ubiquitous in this area in other pizzerias… I was shocked to discover what is undoubtedly the best tasting pizza I’ve had in the fox valley area to date. Food 5/5: The pizza came out hot enough to have to wait a minute or so to be able to eat, which is perfect, I had seen previous pictures of their Pierri Special which is double sausage and double mushroom and I did not want a mountain of mushroom on my pizza so I ordered mine with double sausage and single mushroom. It came out perfectly portioned with sausage and mushroom in every single bite I had. The mushrooms were cooked down to perfection and had a very good flavor. The sausage is the part that surprised me the most, other places I’ve looked describe it as home made and I have to say it is the best sausage I’ve had on a pizza in a long time. The texture is perfectly uniform and it’s salted just right. The sauce isn’t over powering and compliments the toppings perfectly without being over applied. Crust is thin and can be very browned verging on burnt in some places but the bitterness compliments the pizza when you get to it. Service 4/5: This pizzeria is set up to cater to what I imagine is a younger crowd with customers ordering at a counter and the only time you interact with any staff after ordering is when they bring the cooked pizza to your table. This is great if you want to avoid a traditional service experience where you feel the need to tip 20% but leaves you deciding what to drink and grabbing something from their VERY limited selection at the counter. For example I had to decide how much Coke I would drink with my pizza and pay for my two cans of it at the counter when paying for my pizza to avoid another transaction. Their drink selection is limited to a small open air cooler sparsely stocked with some cans of pop and bottles of beer or bottled water. A self serve soda fountain would do wonders here both for aesthetic and customer comfort. Atmosphere 4/5: Don’t get me wrong, the food is what matters most and it was delicious. But you can tell that the glory days of Pierri Pizza were left somewhere in the 90’s/00’s as of 3/2025. That isn’t to say it’s ugly, it’s oddly comforting in a very liminal way, sort of like a sit down Pizza Hut that was never renovated. But seeing the unused salad bar setup in the corner reminds you that it used to be a much more lively place and that gives you a touch of melancholy. The seating is spread out and comfortable and the atmosphere is laid back and I didn’t feel like my toddler was being a bother at any point during the meal which I can’t say at 85% of sit downs in this town. Overall great spot, going to be coming back often. Glad I gave it a shot. 👍🏽

We’ve been a customer for as long as I can remember. This is the best pizza in the state. The thin crust Franks special pizza is AMAZING! The garlic bread is also quite good. (My only ask is that they bring back shrimp as a topping option)

New to the area in the last few years but this is now my favorite pizza place, after only one visit! Super simple menu, beautiful and clean location, and the pizza was to die for! Very thin and crispy with a lot of toppings. If you don’t live close and choose to pick-up, it may be soggy when you get home but my wife and I were so happy with our order! Will be coming back as much as possible!

Pierri Pizza is outstanding—ultra-thin crust, amazing sauce, the perfect amount of cheese, and perfectly balanced toppings. Best of all, they’re always consistent. Every slice hits the mark.

This place has history in Appleton, and their brick oven puts out a mouth watering pizza pie, thin crust is my fave, and just tried the Pierri special with double sausage and mushroom . Omg that's alot of mushrooms! Definitely not skimpy on the toppings. They do carry out and also eat in. I have done both. Love the atmosphere! I feel like I'm in a mobster movie and Al Pacino is gonna sit down with us, lol!! I would even say that this place is an 'experience' worth checking out....

This is the best pizza I've ever eaten. No one anywhere is even close. The place used to be called Frank's Pizza Palace but that was long ago. I've eaten from over 100 pizza places all over the place and they can't touch the quality here. Now that I am back in Appleton I will never eat pizza anywhere else.

Best pizza in Appleton! The only downside is it isn’t ideal for takeout. It is super thin crust, so it’s soggy very quickly. I recommend getting fewer toppings to prevent soggy crust. Their menu is very simple, but everything is delicious.

Best pizza in Appleton, in my opinion. No sweetened pizza sauce. Tasty sausage and other ingredients. And the best part, the very thin cracker-like crust. Yum! The special is always one of my go-to choices, piled high with fresh mushrooms and sausage.

It's the best pizza in Wisconsin we always have a pizza every 2 weeks and I'll tell you everyone in the family is excited when we order pizza we always get a extra pizza for later to snack on

Excellent!! Been a fan for multiple generations. We never miss chance to stop in for a pizza and get more to go. It's simply as good as NYC - John's on Bleecher St. (SOHO)!

It is a walk up and order at the counter place. Pizza was good little limited menu but delicious! Can get frozen ones to go! Limited hours so make sure they are open before going!

We had a team at Pierce manufacturing to pick up a fire truck and ordered out pizza from Pierre's. We ordered three pizzas. One deep dish pie and two thin crust pies. All three were pretty darn good for a small town. The pizza was ordered and was delivered pretty fast, hot and tasty. You wouldn't expect a small town delivering such big flavor. The sauce must be a secret recipe because I haven't tasted that flavor before. Well done Pierre! Keep delivering great pies.

We're pizza tourists. There are many great pizzas in Wisconsin -- but this is one of the best! Thin, crisp crust, delicious sauce with a hint of basil -- perfect amount of cheese. They also offer frozen pizzas that -- on a pizza steel at 500 degrees for 10 minutes -- are terrific for nights you don't want to go out. Always a treat to visit this place.

Solid pizza and good service. I was the last customer of the night and they didn't rush me and made a good pie.

We ordered take out. Hadn't been since the ownership/name change. We were very happy! Some of the best things crust you'll find. Plenty of topping, crispy crust, delicious sauce and plenty of cheese. Absolutely my favorite thing crust!

Ultra thin and crispy crust classic pizza. Fresh sausage that has great flavor. I recommend eating in so it doesn't get soggy. Definitely the best pizza in Appleton. You order at the counter, but there are tables to sit at.

Delicious food, made me very nostalgic going there. The decoration is a little sparse, but it's still the classic pizza place it used to be!

This place has great pizza. But the operating hours are apparently determined by how the owner feels when he gets up in the morning. Try calling. The phone just rings. A business in need of an operations person I'd say.

OMG! Loved it! Just like Frank's, but I think it's even better! Will definitely get pizza there again. My only hope is that you are able to bring back More of the old Frank's stuff like spaghetti and salads. I'm only guessing it didn't happen because you have only been open during Covid.

Pizza is good but that's where it ends. They don't have any prices on the menu or elsewhere. There is no atmosphere at all. Walls are empty and old outdated Franks Pizza decor. They don't wait on your table. You order at the counter, but they do bring you the pizza and plates. You get your own water, soda or beer. That's not so bad but for what they charge you would think they would provide.

Pizza is great. That's if you can get one. Who knows when/if they're open? Called 3 times to order a carry out, no answer. Then drove to their restaurant, they were open, said they always shut the phones off for an hour because it gets too busy. Really?! The restaurant was not that busy. No apology, poor attitude, poor service. Pizza was great however. They need a lesson in customer service. Aren't customers the reason they have a business???!

Wow! Their pizza is simply amazing! Pizza is my go to food, and I have been eating it for 51 years now (hopefully for a lot more years?) Chain pizza does not cut it for me - dude (and dudettes) get one of these! Wanted Franks after not having it for a while and found out they closed. That really sucks. Frank, if you are reading this, hope you are basking in Florida chillin' with a margarita right now, you deserve it with all the pizza happiness you have spread throughout the times bro! Don't understand the full story but it is reopened and it is TRULY just as good.... if not better (sorry Frank, no disrespect, your pizza was truly the bomb!) I live in Darboy, so I can't get places far away that don't do take and bake (Jet's, take a friendly hint you chowderheads). And hey! These guys do take and bake too! Aaaaaaahhhh - why are you still reading this??? Go! Go now!! 5 star! 5 star! 5 star! Only because it doesn't go to eleven! seriously? It's pizza and it is calling you. This is like movie after credit scene. But with pizza... and stuff. Go home.... it's over.

Apparently the new owner or manager turns off their phones when it gets too busy. I called 9 times trying to order a pizza so I don't have to wait for it and then made the suggestion when I got here to at least put something on their voicemail saying that they're that busy but are still open and his response was "I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and turning the phones off at 6:00". So extremely rude I most definitely would not order a pizza from here ever again. Had to tonight cuz this was my husbands birthday request and we have a sick child at home so we couldn't go out like we had planned. I will never frequent here again. The pizza is great but the customer service is horrible and they don't deserve my hard work armed money.

Riley is a true steward of this delightful pizzeria his grandfather started in downtown Appleton, WI. He truly cares for his craft and this is felt in the quality of his Za!

Is this place a joke? This is the actual pizza we received. This is absolutely disgusting.

Riley, Frank's grandson and current owner, was so kind as to stay after closing to make us a pizza as our plane was three hours late from Chicago. The food was the best pizza we have had in years since we moved to Pine Island, Florida from Green Bay. He was very hospitable and we chatted about Frank, old times, and the pizza business. The location is the same and was clean and welcoming. The smells were delicious. Customers we met leaving on our arrival said they came from Green Bay to try it and it was the best pizza they ever had. Keep up the good work Riley. Same family, same recipe! The Legendary Franks pizza lives on! Made famous for pizza, (which is awesome) but have you tried the steak sandwich!? If not you're missing out on half the joy, trust me.
