Pierro’s Italian Restaurant holds a very special place in my heart. When my grandfather passed away, we were searching all over Fayetteville for a restaurant that could accommodate dinner arrangements for 20 people. After being turned away by multiple places—some even responding rudely—Pierro’s stood out for their kindness and willingness to help. They went above and beyond to make arrangements during such a difficult time, and for that, I will always be thankful. Recently, we returned to Pierro’s for a special night out, and once again, they did not disappoint. We started with the garlic butter bread knots, ravioli, and Caesar salads. The Caesar dressing has a strong anchovy flavor, which may not be for everyone, so I’d recommend choosing a different dressing if that’s not to your taste. For our entrées, we ordered the Rockefeller oysters, Chicken Leonard, Seafood Pierro’s, and a kid’s spaghetti and butter sauce. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The Chicken Leonard was especially tasty, though I personally would’ve liked a bit more of the creamy sauce. The variety of dishes on the menu offers something for everyone, and the atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Located in the heart of downtown Fayetteville on Hay Street, Pierro’s offers a warm and welcoming dining experience with a beautiful mix of historic brick charm and modern elegance. I truly hope they continue to grow and thrive—and would love to see them keep evolving their menu to offer fresh, diverse options for returning guests. I will always support Pierro’s and remain grateful for the compassion they showed my family. Highly recommend this gem to anyone in the area!

Google
Great spot to eat Italian cuisine. Good drinks and the food was amazing. The chefs don't like to change the dishes or provide substitutions. I ordered the braised short ribs, they were so tender and flavorful. The cocktails were good as well. The meatballs had too much ricotta cheese, they definitely could have used less and saved the waste. Jose was our waiter and he did a great job, making us feel welcome.

The place makes you feel like you’re in Europe. Good foods and good vibe. If you sit outside, just know that homeless will be asking you for cash or food. It’s hard not to ignore them. You can also choose to sit inside. I love the food here. I forgot what’s the name of the dish I got but it was great!

Google
Wonderful, warm service, and delicious food. We only got a photo of the knots because we devoured everything so quickly, but we got a second batch of these. Each dish was perfect! The white lasagna is to die for.

Google
Rob! He was so great! Kind, attentive, & he didn’t smell like Parmesan cheese despite being surrounded by it! And let’s talk about the food, delicious! My family & I enjoyed the garlic knots, wings, & shrimp scampi. We also dug into some amazing pastas and pizza. We all walked out full and happy! Five star experience!

I've lived in Fayetteville for years and I remember going to Pierros like 7 or 8 years ago when my sister got married. Whatever my husband and I ate that day wasn't memorable because we never went back. We decided to go today and had such an amazing experience. I ordered chicken parmigiana, and creamy risotto. My husband got Braised Short Rib with Cheesy Risotto. We ordered Shrimp Scampi as an appetizer and they bring garlic knots as well. Everything was great! My husband's Braised Short Rib was soooooo tender, it melted in your mouth. Savanah was our waitress and she was so sweet. She was the one who recommended the Braised Short Rib for my husband and he was not disappointed! Just an overall great experience.

Google
Sat at the Bar, and Rob was amazing. We chatted all evening while he made cocktails and gave us suggestions on everything we needed. Also, free garlic knots! I will definitely be back to visit Rob again

Braised Beef is totally delicious! Servers are amazing ( Mr. Derek). The bartender is top tier. Great place. Even the Brussels sprouts are amazing!

Yelp
This place is the BEST! Everything about this restaurant is a place not to be missed. Food is excellent. Service is exceptional. High tops by the bar is an added touch. Drinks are spot on. You will truly enjoy...

Maliya C.

Yelp
Bathroom smelled weird as well as the entrance other than that the food was delicious

Tom J.

Yelp
Friendly staff, great food and location. I'll definitely go back next time I'm hungry and I'm into Italian food.

Carree W.

Yelp
Came with my friends for dinner. My ravioli was delish and I also ordered a cocktail. Service was good. It was late so it wasn't so busy. The place was decent and clean.

Kate G.

Yelp
Spectacular lunch in Fayetville. Tasty, huge portions, and wonderful service from Savannah. A whole lotta bang for the buck. Chicken parm and stromboli. Brussel sprouts are the best on the planet!

Keith P.

Yelp
We chose to sit at the bar and had a wonderful view of beautiful decor. We were welcomed with a smile and a friendly hello from the bar server. Our food was excellent and the service was top notch. We were just spending an overnight in town and felt very fortunate that we happened upon Pierro' Italian Bistro!

Victoria N.

Yelp
Nice looking restaurant and they had a somewhat private area that was great for our large group. Our server took good care of us but got overwhelmed by the end. The food was not great. For the house salad, there are tiny pieces of lettuce that are mixed with the rest of the greens. Can't believe they served that-it made it look cheap. The majority of the group ordered pizza, which I think would be the most decent thing you can order here. But it was greasy. I had their chicken parmigiana and it's one of the worst I had. The chicken was so tough that I couldn't cut it. The sauce was just tangy and lacked flavor.

Matt T.

Yelp
Very solid pizza. Dropped in for a quick lunch, had the Tuscan pie. It was great! They even gave us some garlic knots on the house. The wait staff was very nice and the service very fast.

Pat B.

Yelp
We stopped for lunch and sat at the bar. The restaurant was not too busy at 1pm on a Saturday. We ordered two appetizers - Brussel sprouts and meatballs. Both were good. They have a limited wine menu. My husband was disappointed that they have no draught beer. The bar tender was friendly . While the reviews are not that great our food was very good. We would definitely visit again.

Katie M.

Yelp
Great little stop, but nothing amazing, just adequate. Very cute decor & atmosphere, probably a fun bar at night. Our lunch was good--the chicken ceasar wrap particularly. Service very nice & friendly.

Eliana S.

Yelp
I just had the lasagna at Pierro's, and wow, it's a total vibe. It's definitely one of the best I've ever had. The portion size is huge, so you're definitely getting your money's worth. It's the kind of lasagna that just hits the spot when you want something comforting and indulgent. If you haven't been to Pierro's yet, you need to try their lasagna. 100% recommend!

Anna B.

Yelp
Our server was wonderful. The Brussel Sprouts appetizer was delicious. Drinks (old fashioned, Tito's martini) were 2/5. Chicken Caesar was soggy with store bought dressing and tasteless croutons. Raised beef tasted like tenderizer and surprisingly very little red wine. Don't need to go back but will say our serious was next level.

Tianna W.

Yelp
Was in town and wanted to take my mother and grandmother out to lunch since I hadn't seen them in a while. The waitress that we had was rude, unfriendly and didn't show any hospitality at all, she didn't check on us we only seen her when she took out order and brought our food to the table. She didn't really explain anything when we asked her questions about the menu and our food came out wrong. Despite all those things happening as far as service wise I still love to dine in at Pierro's anytime I come to Fayetteville! The food is always great ! (Didn't really get to take many pics of the food this time because I was so upset with the service) Thank you Pierros!

Savannah E.

Yelp
What an incredible restaurant with all the service you should expect from a 5 star establishment. From the first interaction with the host staff it was clear this was a place that truly cared about their customer experience. Our server, James, was very attentive and was ready with wine pairings for any meal. Myself and other diners were also pleased with the music and lighting. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, and recommend it to any friends or family in Fayetteville wanting a curated experience.

Yelp
I took my dog sunday 6/2 my waitress was a tall man with the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER me and my dog was treated very well only thing I do not like is you have to ask them to clean up they do not clean off tables after each guest they keep it dirty until next guest arrive they dnt sweep or wipe tables off they just put menus and plates on table right after I guest left I carry Clorox wipes and sanitizer when I have my dog out food was good my dog loved it I give them a 8 I went bck Monday 6-3 for a second chance with my sister they have fans outside, and it' was horrible one short girl had a nasty attitude because I asked her can someone clean up outside she took her time collecting cups off of a table as we stood there waiting for a table she took her time on other tables, there was homeless men outside, one of the men was on the inside just standing around, there was bags pilled up at door, it was a mess, it was raining and it stopped, all I asked if it can be cleaned up a little, she was mad u can tell didn't ask for help, I wanted to sit outside me and my sister left after standing there for 5 mins because she stopped cleaning up we went some where else to spend our money, I will not go back or recommend

Yelp
Wow!!! We moved to NC last year and have been searching for a nice date night restaurant. We definitely found it. We appreciate reservations especially on a busy night. Our server Stephanie was awesome and helpful. We had such a nice dinner. The garlic bread things were SO good. The mozzarella sticks were AMAZING and our pastas dishes were phenomenal. Can't wait to go back. Next time we'd love to sit on the patio bit it was raining so we look forward to that. Such a cute area too!

Yelp
what a chance gem I found when traveling! the food was awesome, loved the decor & vibe.

Yelp
Love Pierro's! Their lunches are super affordable, with great portions. Their dinner entrees are also huge, I always end up having leftovers. My favorite appetizers are the Brussels sprouts or fried ravioli (yum!). For dinner, I love the Braised Beef or the Bistecca Roma. They also have discount martinis on Monday, their drinks are pretty strong without getting too much alcohol flavor, I love the champagne martini - not too sweet. For cons, I would say the atmosphere is lacking. The first time we visited, I could hardly hear my own table. I don't love the decor, and the women's bathroom is due for some upgrades. The stall door didn't shut, I had to lift the entire door to make it meet the lock. Otherwise, every server I've had has been great, and the manager was so friendly! This is a great spot on the downtown square, which is a treasure in itself.

Yelp
My first time at this location was tonight. 7:40pm today December 22, 2022. This restaurant came highly recommended by my extended family, who were hungrily awaiting our return home. Family is here from several states, gathering for Christmas. We passed many pizza restaurants to come here. My nephew and I walked inside to make large order to go. We asked for a menu and the hostess said we needed to get a menu from the bar. We went over to the bar and the bartender told us we needed to get a menu from the hostess. Alright... So we FINALLY get a menu and we're told the bartender will take our order. We go BACK to the bartender and were told THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO TAKE OUR ORDER. Wtf? When is a restaurant too busy to take an order? I've never heard of such foolishness. So despite how good the food MAY be, I will never know. Because customer service ranks higher to me and I will never waste my money coming to such a place again. I don't know who the owner or manager is, but I can't imagine a business prospering by turning away customers for no good reason. Note to management: HIRE BETTER EMPLOYEES. Ridiculous.

Pamela G.

Yelp
The service was awesome and the food was magnificent! I had a friend visiting and she was impressed as well! Let me just say the salmon with brown sugar rub was perfect! Not over cooked and dried out but JUST RIGHT! I'll be returning for sure!

Irene M.

Yelp
Food was very good and service excellent today. We had Rob and what a delite! Attentive and so nice. I've order to go many times but never sat down to eat. Great dining experience today.

Kristin B.

Yelp
Excellent service and excellent food. Large portions and decent quality for the price. Everything we had was delicious. Only gripe was that our salads came with our meals instead of before it so it was wasted more than anything. Food came out fast, hot and fresh. Great experience overall.

Damian J.

Yelp
Always a big fan of Italian food. Pierro's did not disappoint me. I had the homemade lasagne dish with a side of Italian sausage. The lasagne was absolutely divine, with layers of perfectly cooked pasta, rich tomato sauce, and a generous amount of gooey melted cheese. Each bite was a burst of flavors, blending together harmoniously. The sausage, grilled to perfection, added a delightful smoky and savory element to the meal. The lasagne was a family recipe passed down through generations, and it was evident in every mouthwatering bite. The pasta sheets were tender, effortlessly melting in my mouth, while the tomato sauce was bursting with the flavors of ripe tomatoes, fragrant herbs, and a hint of garlic. The cheese, golden and bubbly on top, created a luscious and irresistible layer that tied the whole dish together.

Yelp
Get the pizza! So good! Attentive customer service, not quiet but not loud, either; it's not Olive Garden!

S W.

Yelp
We are vegetarian. I specifically CALLED my order in so that I could make the proper adjustments without worrying about meat in the food. I asked twice for them to prepare the plate without putting meat in or on top because the sauce does not come with the meat, it is added. Soon as we pull the first plate out, there is a slab of chicken across it. My husband takes it in to let them know to please re-cook it without the meat because just taking it off would not suffice. The meat juices will still make us sick. When I got home, I could see where the chicken was sitting on the noodles, they just took it off in the back and made my husband wait for no reason. Also, the other dish was slap full of meatballs within the sauce, even though I asked for no meat in the marinara sauce.

Ray L.

Yelp
Service was top notch! The food was good but nothing spectacular. But definitely one of the better Italian restaurants in the area area. I do recommend and will be back:

Yelp
Piero's is one of the most well know restaurants in the city. Located in main street in downtown. Sophisticated look from the outside, nice interior atmosphere. Service is pretty standard, staff courteous but not friendly. What I found most disappointing is the substandard food. Dry chicken, over sweet marsala sauce and over cooked pasta. It is depressing and upsetting that an restaurant identifies itself as Italian for having pasta in their menu. If an Italian restaurant is not capable to cook pasta al dente then it should not be call Italian. We were a table of four people with different kinds of pastas and none of them were cooked properly nor coated with sauce correctly. In my humble opinion I place Piero's as an elegant version of Fazoli's. Overpriced and unsatisfactory. P.S. Shrimp carbonara is an abomination.

Zaneta R.

Yelp
Atmosphere : We went Sunday afternoon around 12 and it was empty! The hostess was nice and friendly and masked. She sat us immediately. The environment was well lit and clean ! Covid : very clean! No paper menus but their menu is easily accessible online. They say guess every other table. All staff wore mask. Food: complimentary garlic knots were hot and fresh ! Everything was flavorful enough. Decent wine and cocktail selection.

Susan Q.

Yelp
We popped in here during an event downtown and were seated immediately. The atmosphere is really great. We ordered, drinks and complimentary garlic bread was brought to the table. We had mozzarella fritters (a cute name for cheese sticks), the garlic bread and fritters were piping hot and delicious. This is where things went down hill. I ordered the lasagna, husband ordered a pizza. I will say that the pizza section on the menu does not indicate that you can build your own pizza but you can, I guess just ask what toppings are available. After a pretty long wait, our server came over to apologize and said this time frame wasn't acceptable to her. After a while longer my lasagna was delivered. It was luke warm and watery. It was pretty evident that it had been waiting for the pizza. The server came to the table two more times to apologize and then asked if we wanted to have the pizza boxed up. Husband asked if it was coming right now, and she didnt know..he said to just cancel it. Within moments the pizza came to the table not in a box. We asked for the check and a tiramisu to go. It seemed like they were all too eager to flip the table at that point and the pizza was slapped into a box and brought out. We want to try again because it seemed like before the snag with the pizza, this is a really promising restaurant. Stay tuned!

Yelp
Food was phenomenal. Best food I've had in a min. World wide. Amazing. And if y'all can ask for Robert. He is great. Such a nice server. Checked up and us so often and was very nice.

Yelp
Ok, here's the situation. I pull up to Fayetteville, NC around 8pm on Monday evening. I'm hungry. I'm always looking for top local places. Plug into Yelp and see what's open. In Fayetteville on a Monday night? Not a lot. The only reason for the star deduction was I spent more than 30 minutes on hold to place my order. That's a bit excessive. That said... I try not to eat Italian when I'm traveling for work. I was born in Brooklyn into an Italian family and now live in NJ by the shore. I have eaten a lifetime of pretty...pretty good Italian food. I look for new, locally inspired restaurants when I travel. But, this night, the most intriguing offering was an Italian restaurant. And they had an appetizing menu. I ordered a Caesar Salad, the braised beef with grilled asparagus and risotto, and a Tiramisu. This was comfort food for me. And they nailed it. Each dish. I will be returning to Fayetteville for work often till the end of the year and I will be back to Pierro's.

Leydis J.

Yelp
I ordered the shrimp carbonara that was supposed to come with prosciutto and got bacon instead. That being said, I wasn't very pleased. Carbonara is never done right in restaurants and I was expecting that much but it clearly stated prosciutto on the menu. Overall, flavor was ok. Wouldn't necessarily come back for a "foddie experience".

Jay M.

Yelp
I rarely give 5 stars because I'm really serious about the combination of food, service, ambiance and the overall experience. I give this restaurant a -1 on the host that greeted us and a 2 on the host who took her place. The first host was extremely rude and disrespectful to our party. We almost walked back out and went somewhere else. Ut it was a celebration for my wife's college graduation. Our waiter who came and collected us and went and got his manager to help seat us is the reason we went in at all.I give a 4 on appetizer's, a 3 1/2 on the taste of the entree's because we had to send one of the 2 cedar plank cooked blackened salmon back to be redone. We ordered 2 of the exact same entree and one came out blackened and the other one came out unfinished and unseasoned. When it was sent back our waiter brought back out the pasta that was part of the entree and stated the chef told him to bring in back out and eat it while waiting for the salmon to come out. So instead of sending out a completely different plate the chef sent out the same piece of salmon on the plank not even on a plate still under seasoned but cooked very dry. We chose not to stay for dessert. Our waiter was on top of his job and was the only reason we enjoyed some of the experience. Our waiter went above and beyond to make our dining experience as enjoyable as he could after seeing what we went through at the door with the hostess. Maybe it was an off day for the hostess and the chef but this restaurant shows serious promise and could be awesome. Love the menu choices. We will give it another try sometime so look for my next review on it.

Yelp
stopped in here in a whim looking for something open on xmas eve, domenique was our server she was very friendly and prompt, helped us with the menu as we're not from here.. food was alright, we're from NJ so our taste in italian is different. started with complimentary garlic gnots which were ok. a salad and I had chicken parm over spaghetti and my husband had lobster ravioli. both were not bad, but also not the best. over all nice atmosphere and again our server was lovely !

Alex T.

Yelp
Piero's Italian food is top notch for a low price. Very professional servers tho none of them seem to be Italian. Highly recommend

Vicki L.

Yelp
Our server Cassie was incredible- fun, attentive, friendly, on top of it. I like the rigatoni a la vodka without the meat. Great garlic knots. Not cool that the cook was screaming.

Jody R.

Yelp
We loved the atmosphere of this place! The Caesar salad was amazing. We also got the chicken carbonara, which was delicious. We also got the veggie calzone which was huge. The wait staff was super nice and helpful! Great value

Bert G.

Yelp
Don't visit Fayetteville without at least one meal taken at Pierro's on Hay Street. The restaurant is in an authentically old old building which has been lovingly repurposed as a modern restaurant. Great job. My order was the Half Chicken alla Carbona ($10.00), and it was outstanding. The portion was large, and the chicken was tender, spiced very nicely, prepared perfectly. Chloe gave us excellent service and is a true asset to this business.

Colleen H.

Yelp
The food was outstanding . Can't wait to go try all the rest . Von was our server and she was great !!! A must try

Holeigh H.

Yelp
We are doing the CT to FL drive and looking for a relaxing lunch not too far off the beaten path. My travel companion is a fan of Italian food and I have no arguments. It's a little off the highway but worth the trip. We sat outside. Promptly served yummy garlic knots. Friend ordered the baked ziti w meatballs. It looked great but all she said was "yum!" I ordered the Chicken Marsala with spinach instead of fettuccini. Yum is an understatement!! Best Marsala I've had in a while. Service was great too.

Jo-Ann B.

Yelp
Last night we ate ar Pierro's in Fayetteville NC. We were traveling south from NJ. We were pleasantly surprised as the venue, waitstaff, food and owner were so attentive. Excellent chicken parm and lobster ravioli with the house salad. Our server Madison was so happy and came by several times to ask how everything was. All the waitstaff were smiling and rushing to stay on point, lots of good vibes. I asked to speak to the owner Mike and thanked him for providing a festive well run restaurant. The Hendricks martini was a full pour! Pierro's will continue to be our stopping place when we travel again Thank you all for a very pleasant experince. Jo-Ann & Ken

K B.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Had a sangria to drink and that was fine. We were seated quickly and the server was very attentive and friendly. Good vibe, Would recommend!

Tj C.

Yelp
Seated right away on a Saturday for lunch. The waitress was phenomenal. Talked to us and let us order drinks and came back to take out appetizer order. After that we ordered our main dish, I had a question and she went and got it answered right away from the kitchen. Got the caprese salad for the app and the stuffed chicken breast for the main course. She also brought over garlic knots as well. The salad was so delicious, fresh mozzarella and balsamic. My main course was a bit to be desired. The chicken was dry and ended up just being to chicken breasts on too of fried potatoes. It was not stuffed at all like it was described. The menu has had an option of potatoes or vegetables but I was not given that option at all. It was a meal with ups and downs but I would be back to try something else.

Rebecca S.

Yelp
I got halfway through my salad and realized There was a bug in my salad. I pushed it to the side and then asked the waiter for the manager. A white female manager came out and said to me that the salad was complementary and she could not do anything like give me a discount or new salad.

Marissa D.

Yelp
This was our first time here and will not be our last. First let me say we don't go out to eat often because I love to cook and I'm very picky about Italian food. Well I'm so glad we went this night !! We were greeted by a friendly hostess and quickly seated. Our waiter was awesome ! He was funny and very friendly talking about the menu and joking around with us. He brought out these amazing garlic knots which come with your meal. I had to stop myself from eating all of them. I chose the house salad with their homemade ranch which was the good homemade ranch if you know you know l lol . I ordered the chicken carbonara which was delicious. The pasta had a nice bite to it not overly cooked. The carbonara sauce was perfect not too much just enough sauce with plenty of chicken and bacon. My husband chose the braised beef which the waiter told us was his favorite and let me tell you it is now our favorite this dish was to die for! The beef was cooked to perfection The risotto was so creamy !! It was everything you could ask for in a dish. It was a special but he said he thinks they might be keeping it on the menu and I hope they do!! This meal was by far the best Italian dish I've had in Fayetteville

Kellyann C.

Yelp
Great little Italian restaurant in the downtown area of Fayetteville. They have Amazing Pizza! We will be back.

Beverly K.

Yelp
The food was wonderful. We started with 2 appetizers - crab cakes with red pepper sauce and chicken parmesan flatbread along with complimentary the garlic knots. All 3 were very flavorful. The marinara that came with the flat bread was the best I have ever eaten. The garlic knots hit the spot. My husband ordered Chicken Parmesan with Caesar salad and loved it. The reason I did not give them a 5 was the service. My husband thought our waiter was new but I am not so sure!

Stan D.

Yelp
Each time I've visited Fayetteville for a few days, I've eaten at Pierro's. The food choices and taste have been excellent, along with outstanding service. The dining area is spacious with plenty of tables so it can get quite loud with a full crowd but I will be back!

Yelp
THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went there tonight... the staff was extremely attentive.. my order was perfect.. and we literally was amazed by the customer service we received.. After having such a HORRIBLE and FORBIDDEN experience with Antonella's Restaurant this was just what I needed.. The diversity I seen in this place a a far cry from what is usually seen in Antonella's. They desire great reviews but don't want to work to earn them.. I would say send you staff to Pierro's for training so they can know how to treat all people regardless of color or status.. I had an absolutely amazing time tonight.. thanks so much for making this a night to remember for both my husband and I.
