This was our first time eating inside the restaurant, usually pick up the to go order. Very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The server Yvana was excellent and very attentive. The atmosphere was bright and open and the food was delicious. We always order an extra dish to take home and this time we ordered Shrimp Scampi. Haven't tasted yet, but we've had it before so I know it's good. Plenty of parking.

I love Pietro's. My wife and I stop here regularly when heading to a Giants game in SF. The pizza is just incredible, perfectly cooked, nice thick crust. Bring a cooler cause you are going to have leftovers! Sometimes they have live music in the evenings on the weekends.

A richer emulsion would better capture and elevate the shrimp's natural sweetness. This restaurant is strongly committed to Italian authenticity, especially in its pizza. With a few refinements to their seafood dishes, this spot could become a local favorite for lovers of true Italian fare.

We needed Italian. Specialty drinks , plus home style foods. Lovely wait staff & friendly service. Another place to stop on a return trip.

Came here on a weekday evening for dinner We ordered cheese bread, calamari, zucchini sticks, shrimp + chicken Alfredo, margarita pizza, tortellini with red sauce, and eggplant parm. Pros: -our waitress was amazing! Very friendly and efficient -food came out hot and with large portion sizes! We all needed to go boxes for pasta Cons: -We didn’t enjoy the calamari it was pounded thing then breaded and fries and we prefer a more traditional method of smaller pieces that are lightly breaded. -All of the dishes came out hot & fresh but could’ve used more seasoning, we had to add basics like salt and pepper to everything and it still felt like seasoning was missing Overall I’d come back again and give it another try!

Came last week with my boss and a group of coworkers. It was his treat so I was happy with what they ordered. It was a half veggie & half marg pizza, garlic olive oil bread, Alfredo pasta, spaghetti, and a fresh salad. It was all very good. It was my first time dining here and I’ll definitely come back with my family. The service was great and attentive.

Had my baby shower here and they were so accommodating! With extra tables and chairs, helping clear tables, keeping the water and teas filled. Food was excellent, everyone was very happy! Theresa is amazing and very welcoming

The food here is delightful and I had a wonderful experience with Michelle's service. The meat ravioli is a must-try and the pizza crust is simply delicious. The Margarita pizza was particularly fresh-tasting and overall, everything was simply yummy.

Five stars for the great Tuesday/Wednesday special and the fantastic service we received! The special includes a 4 topping pizza, medium or large, family sized salad and spaghetti, and garlic bread, all for the super low price of $55 or $60 depending upon the pizza size. What a screamin' deal! The place has been around since I was a little kid, and the pizza has remained remarkably delicious! The pasta and salad are still great, and they've kept the place in good repair. They have updated the decor a bit over the years, lightening things up and making more space for patrons to feel more comfortable. Overall, I think this is a great choice for a simple family style dinner on Tuesday or Wednesday, or they have a great family pasta deal on Sunday! I should say, the food is good enough to visit on any day of the week... give 'em a try.

We went in on a week night for dinner and got some salad and appetizers. We sat in the bar area in a booth. The decor was very different in that area than the other side but it was nice. The vaulted ceilings were nice but it meant that we could hear everyone's conversations. I couldn't hear my husband at all. The customer service was good. The food came out quickly. The Caesar salad was good, lots of cheese and the dressing was good. We got the mozzarella sticks and the buffalo wings as well. The mozzarella sticks were just ok. The buffalo wings were pretty good. I wouldn't sit in that area again but over all the experience was pretty good.

We still love coming here. You always see Mama Pietro's smile greeting you as you walk inside. Food is still great! We keep coming back for their spaghetti with meatballs and a side of meatballs. They just renovated their old banquet room to have extra seating and a beautifully stocked bar.

Ambience is cozy. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. I had pizza. It was delicious. Service was awesome. The owner was there too and was very nice.

5 Stars Pietro's 2 is hands down the best family-owned Italian restaurant in the area! The lasagna is absolutely incredible--easily the best I've ever had from any restaurant!! I had the pleasure of meeting Theresa, the owner, and she was so sweet and wonderful to talk to. She let me know they just added a beautiful new bar (see photo!) and I can't wait to come back and enjoy it with a great meal. Friends and family. The staff are always warm and welcoming, greeting you with a big smile and great attitude. It really feels like you're part of the family when you're here. One thing I loved is that Theresa personally planted beautiful roses/plants around the patio and front entrance--they caught my eye right away. The patio is peaceful, quaint, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying a great meal. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, a friendly atmosphere, and a place that clearly takes pride in everything they do, Pietro's is it. Highly recommend!

Several visits here! Always good! Service is friendly like a family :) The food is delicious. Get the lasagne- if you can't decide. Yum. Nice clean and beautiful. Easy parking too

This place is amazing. I'm an Italian foodie who loves to cook and I get so excited when I go to an Italian restaurant that surpasses my expectations. Pietro does this every time. You can get full just on their meatball appetizer cause it's big and that good. I had the lasagna and it was amazing. I'd like to go back and try other things so you may find me there. Go give him a try if you haven't.

Retirement dinner party - only one server for the group of 16 and overwhelmed as she has other tables as well - food was ok - tiramisu was horrible - they must've forgot to soak the ladyfingers in coffee - - temperature inside restaurant was very cold and uncomfortable

Good, nothing to rave about. Toppings are fresh and a fair amount of them. About 1/3 of the crust was burnt-I do mean actually black and crunchy. I don't like that at all. And fair warning-it was $68. for one large pizza and two sodas. Given that, I just can't go back.

The food was meh and the bill was outrageous. Waaay too much for what you get. I think when you're stuck with few options to have a sit down meal in Vacaville people go here - and I think the restaurant knows that and charge ridiculous prices. Also the dining area is LOUD so the "sit down" meal is more like a large cavernous area with screaming children, people screaming over the children to be heard, and clanking dishes.

I've been here sooooo many times, not by my own choice. The pasta is just not good. I've tried several dishes and none of them have been good. Please, please, please fix your Alfredo sauce! It seems to be mostly flour based and no cream or butter. The tortellinis are also very subpar. For $30, I am so disappointed and threw away 3/4 of my pasta! The mixed drinks, meatballs, salads, garlic bread are good!

Went to grab lunch and let me tell you HOW HORRIBLE IT WAS. food was awful and the service was even worst. Felt like my money was wasted. For starters the bread was Cold. Food had no flavor at all. Service was awful. Please save your money and don't go there. Waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive and when it arrived the waitress forgot one of our dishes so had to wait another 15 minutes.JUST AWFU

This is the only place to go for pizza!! We got a half super special and half pepperoni with sausage. The crust is hands down best all around and the bar & dining areas are so beautiful. Crystal was our server and she took care of everything beginning to end. We always have a great time there with friends and family.

Amazing Meat Balls today , light crust sausage medium .. excellent. Angelo has waited on us a few times and very attentive .. very pleased as usual .. thank you for a lovely birthday dinner for the hubby

Pietro's is my go to from Italian food. Growing up on every birthday my family went there for the best pizza in town. It is still my favorite.

One of the reasons I love Pietro's No.2 is because their Italian-style restaurant looks like a cozy villa and is very welcoming. Their customer service is amazing too, the waiters are nice and polite, and the wait for your meal is not long. The tidiness of the restaurant is also wonderful. It's clean, decorated, and filled with the scent of delicious Italian food. They have a small patio with some tables if you prefer to be outside on a nice day. Finally, the food is so good! There are lots of mouth-watering dishes like pasta, pizza, gnocchi, and delightful sweets like gelato, mud pie, and affogato. The price is not bad either. For a family of five, you can get a delicious meal for a good price. Pietro's is a great place for a delicious, comforting, and memorable dinner, date, or just a good hang-out spot.- By Ryker age 11

We ordered the Tuesday spaghetti pizza and salad special for $55 and it was worth every penny. It's so generous we have leftovers for a few days! The pizza was absolutely spectacular and I loved the fresh salad with all the yummy trimmings. The beets were particularly delicious. The ranch dressing was good too. The service was terrific. I can't say enough nice about it. Job well done and I'll be back.

Ambiance and service was great here. The ambiance here is more modern and fancy compared to Pietros #1, and I loved that there was an outdoor dining area. In comparison to the food at Pietros #1, they're not exactly the same. For example, the white clam pasta here came with clams in shell and it had a more lemony flavor. The white clam at Pietros #1 did not have the clam shell and tasted more like a normal Alfredo (which I preferred). Pizza and ravioli at both places were about the same.

If you're ever in the area go try Pietros #2. They have outside seating if you prefer to sit outside and they are going to have a bar area soon. Can't wait to see that open. We ordered the Tuesday/Wednesday special. If you're feeding a family of 5 or more this is the deal for you or if you want leftovers. The special is only $50 that's not including tax but in my opinion it's still an awesome deal. You get a huge salad, medium, pizza, pasta, and garlic bread. We also appreciate our server Krystal. Thank you for being awesome at your job. We appreciate that.

I ate here today with my family and our server Sophia was so sweet. We never had to ask for anything, she always came up to our table and provided everything. Someone please give this girl a raise. Also the cheese tortellini was good too! :p

The pizza here was fantastic! We ordered a family salad and pizza which was plenty of food for the two of us. The wait staff was friendly but spread thin. We saw three different tables, walk up to the double doors to ask their waiter for some thing because they weren't walking around and checking on their tables.

Met friends at the new bar last week for a celebration. Beautiful remodel! Friendly staff and delicious steak sammies and Pizza!

You cannot beat the Tues/Weds family special... you just can't. It was too much food for 4 full grown adults, and one was even preggo! Service is always good and the interior is nice and clean. Food is always good. Just prepare some antacids for the tomato heartburn after :)

Ordered a medium pepperoni well done to go. Unfortunately it wasnt well done and the pizza itself was okay but nothing spectacular. Probably wouldnt order from there again. Service was alright and you pick up from a pickup section of the restaurant which i did think was cool. Decent service decent ambiance. Just okay pizza.

Came for a private lunch party out on the patio. Ample parking. Tables and umbrellas for the outside. Pizza, garlic bread, garden salad; chicken Alfredo, egg plant pasta was our set up. I pretty much devoured my food. Loved their pizza and pastas. Too bad it was ridiculously hot for our lunch on the patio would've liked to enjoy the food more. They don't really have a system to set up food outside for larger groups. It was pretty much try to put the food under any shade you can find. The ladies there were super nice and tried their best to keep everyone happy despite the heat.

Drinks weee delicious but food was not. I ordered the chicken scallopini. Pasta was over cooked, chicken was chewy and mushrooms were gross. I told the waitress and her response was I never had anyone complain about that dish. Either way I ordered something else

Incredible experience last Sunday at Pietro's. I had my family in town and it was a party of 8. Excellent service and all the food was perfect. The Caprese, salads and all the entrees were extremely fresh and amazing. The helpings are huge so everyone had leftovers to go and my pizza/pasta the next day was just as good if not better! lol. Thanks guys for a great lunch after my baptism that day. My girlfriend and I will be back soon. A++++

I came into eat and while the food and service were nice this review is about a different experience I had there. While eating we could hear a man screaming from the back from the dining room and then we could hear him when he was in the front lobby also screaming. I have never heard or seen someone treat there employees so horribly. I had gotten up to use the restroom and I saw this man belittling an employee so horrendously that I felt horrible for the employee, it made me lose my appetite. You could tell this man is very comfortable screaming at the people that work for him so you could assume this happens daily. His employees should know that that kind of treatment is illegal and they do not have to put up with it. Horrible way to run a business, we will not be back.

After having a bad experience at Pietros 1 we made sure to take our business back to Pietros 2. We were greeted by Theresa as usual, had wonderful conversation while waiting on our food, and most importantly the food was amazing!

Just moved here and this is my favorite restaurant so far! The food was so good, service was great and the beer was cold! I sat in the bar area and the TVs are nice! I can't wait to come back when it's warmer to enjoy the patio!!

This was our first time at Pietro's No. 2 and we will definitely be coming back! I will say our waitress had a huge impact on our experience. Josie was accommodating, friendly, attentive and helpful. She seemed like she genuinely enjoyed her job and enjoys her customers. Let's move on to the food. We ordered the Tuesday family special, which included a Medium pizza (or a Large for $5 extra) with up to 4 toppings, large spaghetti w/meat sauce, a basket of garlic bread and a family salad. We also added a mini pepperoni pizza for my picky eater. Everything was HUGE! The pictures I added, do not accurately show how much food you get. We literally took home so much food we could eat it for 2 days, and we are a family of 4! Everything tasted hot and fresh. The pizza was super good, and we really enjoyed the salad. The spaghetti was okay, but just a bit plain. The garlic bread seemed to need a little something more, but was pretty good. Either way, we will definitely be going back again, and may just have to bring more people to eat it all with us!

We ordered a pizza with artichokes, bell peppers, mushrooms, and olives. When it was delivered it had anchovies on it but no artichokes. What a putrid smell!!! After calling Petro's and explaining the problem, the person on the phone couldn't locate our order. He kept telling me they didn't take the order but DoorDash did. My wife and DoorDash both insisted it was ordered through Petro's. The employee was finally able to find our order, but then wanted to argue that we ordered anchovies. Gee, let's see... out of four of us, three are allergic to seafood. I have a hard time believing we would order anchovies. Any decent company would apologize (regardless of where the miscommunication lay) and send the correct order out ASAP! Find someplace else. Anyplace. Especially if you gave food allergies!

Italian food isn't on the top of my list when choosing somewhere to dine. But i was being treated so I obliged. I had no expectations. Just there enjoying the company. I ordered from the lunch section, which included bread and soup or salad. So I got the calamari and pasta with caesar salad. Incredible! I was full and completely satisfied with the salad and bread. I intended to pack up my entrée and eat it later for dinner. It looked so good, i had to taste it. A taste turned into devouring half the meal. I was in full glutton mode! I definitely recommend this restaurant. The portions were large. The food was delish and the service was good.

Very disappointed, had some family come in from out of town and they wanted some Italian food ! I had a couple people tell me to try this place .... So we went in for lunch , we ordered the Steak Sandwich , Prawn Scampi , Seafood Past ... The Steak Sandwich was so o er cooked it couldn't be eaten , also they charged us $3 extra for cheese on the sandwich! The Prawn scampi was cold and the prawns were very small . The seafood pasta was decent but for the price I would never order again . Now for the good , very nice place , clean and the service was decent . I would probably go back and give the pizza a try ,,, definitely won't order the food again ... Hopefully I can come back and update my review with better news on the pizza.

Pietro's No 2 has been our family's go to spot for years! The food is always amazing, the service is always on point and the ambiance is wonderful! With the renovated patio and the brand new bar & lounge, Pietro's has it all. We love to come here for the family night specials and also enjoy celebrating our special occasions here. It is family owned and operated and Theresa & Joseph always make you feel welcome. We love this place! Try the special combo pizza and don't forget the delicious garlic bread!

Good eats, price is a little high but worth the price. Very flavorful, went randomly and was very surprised.

Best Italian in Bay Area! By far We have been here 4 times and plan to go much more often Sweetest owners and best quick service Chicken Piccata full of flavor and beyond Hubby had Ravioli. Homemade everything!!

UPDATE: within a few minutes of posting this review, apparently the owner had a change of heart. They called back and they are now delivering our salad, and remaking our gnocchi and delivering it to us. We have been coming here for 20 plus years and it has SEVERELY gone down hill. We placed an order online and went and picked it up. First, they forgot our chef salad. Second, asked for ranch with the side salads and they forgot that too. Asked for the pizza double cut, and guess what they didn't do it. The Gnocchi was cold and tough. It's supposed to be light and melt in your mouth and you really had to chew it. AWFUL! When I called about the chef salad, I was not given any option other than a refund. I asked if they could deliver it. He comes back on the phone and says that the owner said no. Awesome customer service

The service was great, very attentive without being intrusive. Our drinks came promptly and were perfectly mixed. The food was excellent. (Cannelloni and lasagna got a chef's kiss from all of us!) We all ordered different things and got to taste a little of each. The prices have gone up, but that's no surprise. The new bar area is airy and bright, very welcoming. Great place!

Great family style Italian. Portions were huge. Food was delicious. Great staff! Don't know why we haven't tried it sooner. We will definitely be back.

The service was great, we were sat right away in the patio as requested, they checked on us frequently made sure our drinks were full made sure everything tasted right. The food was good and was served in a timely manner if anything it came out pretty fast with how much we ordered. The vibes are nice it's a very calm atmosphere, would definitely recommend it and go again.
