"This is an old-school Italian spot in every sense. It’s been open since 1932, and it’s one big room with big tables and white tablecloths - so it feels like the kind of place where you’d eat with some 1960s ad execs, or before catching Our Town or Hello, Dolly! on Broadway. The service is friendly, and while the menu is full of classics like a caesar salad and chicken, veal, and shrimp parmigiana, the steak happens to be very good, with a thick, crispy char on the outside. Get one the next time you have a group meal planned with your in-laws, or you need to eat alone at the bar after a long day in Midtown. (Pro tip: the bar has free peanuts.)" - Bryan Kim

Pietro’s was the absolute perfect place to hold my bridal shower! 👰 From the phenomenal food to the outstanding service, I wouldn’t change a thing! Angelo was fantastic- helping ensure the even went off without a hitch! He guided us to the right food & drinks, and even ensured that I felt like a princess on my special day! Words can’t describe the hospitality & genuine love that Angelo & his staff have to ensure that you have the best time at Pietro’s. It felt like family- from the details on the drinks to the flawless execution of service; I highly recommend Pietro’s for a date night, shower, or any event that you want that extra special touch! ✨

We recently hosted a baby shower at Pietro’s, and the restaurant’s beautiful space was the perfect setting for our celebration. The staff went above and beyond, providing a detailed tour of the venue, assisting with both event setup and breakdown, and ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the day. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety of options that all of our guests enjoyed. Additionally, the staff was accommodating to all dietary restrictions. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’re incredibly grateful to the Angelo and the team at Pietro’s for making this special day unforgettable. Highly recommend!

I just hosted a baby shower at Pietro's and I can't recommend this place enough! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The booking process was seamless and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Angelo, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He worked closely with me on every aspect of the setup, from planning the table arrangements and accommodating food adjustments, to coordinating the timing of the food service. The food was outstanding and incredibly fresh (they began cooking the moment we sat down). The risotto balls are an absolute must try—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. They allowed us to bring cakes as well! The attention to detail and level of service exceeded all expectations. The staff was friendly, attentive, and truly made our celebration feel special. If you're looking for a venue with exceptional service and a beautiful atmosphere, Pietro’s is the place to be!

We went during lunch hour. Service was fast. The food tasted really great and the portions were huge. I highly recommend. I ordered the salmon linguine and it was delicious

Google
We had our daughter’s baby shower at Pietro’s last Sunday. The food was delicious. Angelo and his staff were so welcoming and helpful. The service was excellent. As people were leaving they commented on how nice the day was. Many people contacted us again the next day to thank us for the invite and again express how much they enjoyed the venue, food, and service. Thanks, Angelo for all your help!

Google
One of my favorite weekday lunch stops. Excellent lunch specials with indoor and outdoor seating as weather may allow. Food is freshly prepared and delicious. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. Good menu selections.

We hosted our son’s birthday here and had a great experience throughout the entire process! The food, drinks and service were amazing. Angelo was a pleasure to work with, ensuring everything ran smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about anything. This venue is perfect for celebrations like birthdays, showers, and more. Highly recommend!

The booking process was seamless, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful…ANGELO was FANTASTIC!!!! He made everything so easy, so helpful, so accommodating, I had a lot going on during the planning process….and Angelo really took the time to help me make everything perfect!! I would definitely recommend Pietro’s for your next event.

Yelp
A perfect setting for a bridal shower! The people at Pietro's made sure our event was very special. We had 65 guests and the family style luncheon was fantastic!! I would highly recommend this venue!

Yelp
Loved the pear mule (just need better straws since mine disintegrated super quick and couldn't use to drink). The short rib pizza was fantastic. Chicken parm looked good but didn't try. The pasta with chicken and spinach was fantastic sauce. A lot of tomatoes if you like tomatoes. Service was so nice and on the ball. Food was reasonably priced and delicious and great portion sizes, we all had leftovers. Christmas themed restaurant for the holiday. Outdoor seating and free parking lot for parking. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Here is the lead; they arbitrarily overcharge.. Since November 2024 we have ordered to-go pizzas from pietros. We have Always ordered one or two large pepperoni pizzas. Always each pizza cost $24. On January 14, 2025, we ordered one large pepperoni pizza. This time $28 . When she was questioned about the price increase, she said "it's always been $28". I am going back to Paola's.

Polly B.

Yelp
My Margerita pizza this evening was a joke. Sadly, we picked up our pizzas to eat at home or I would have sent this back to the kitchen. The crust was paper thin. Almost no toppings. Tomato Sauce was waved in the direction of the pie but only the center. Cheese was a bare minimum. Basil was in a little pile in the corner of the box. All this for $18. Clearly no one cared about making this order right. Not going back.

Christopher S.

Yelp
The Gemelli Arugula pasta I got the other day was good as well! Pietro's impressed us yet again.

Suzanne C.

Yelp
Quick service and amazing food. The quality of the pizza is great, the mussels were huge and the broth was delicious.

Matt T.

Yelp
First time but won't be last! Ambiance is very nice and very comfortable. Not too noisy so able to enjoy great food and conversation. Was there for my birthday and it was great. White bean hummus to start was excellent and the main dishes were plentiful and tasteful. And the cannoli ended a perfect meal. Definitely recommend! Will be back!

Brooke D.

Yelp
Love this place! The chicken parm is great. It includes a large piece of chicken and fresh home made noodles. They can also put the sauce on the side upon request.

Christina R.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I went to Pietro's pizzeria in Radnor to celebrate a birthday. Boy, would I recommend this place! Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic. Three of us shared a giant Caesar salad, which had the most delicious dressing. We also shared the calamari which was light and crisp and I had the salmon entrée, and it was flaky and moist and served with delicious basil infused vegetables. I had a blood orange margarita, which was also delicious. For dessert, we shared a cannoli to celebrate my friend's birthday. We were very happy with our menu choices and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Amy E.

Yelp
Great casual location for a family dinner during my son's graduation. Service was great. We each really enjoyed our food! They offer a gluten-free cauliflower pizza crust substitution which was good, the salad was really fresh, and the house made ravioli was delicious. There was a nice ambiance as well and it's clearly a popular place.

J.R. R.

Yelp
I thought NJ has the best Italian restaurants. I was wrong. My family fell in love with their amazing home cooked and delicious pasta and more. Say goodbye to Maggiano's dish. This place rocks. From their house Salad to tiramau desert, we were absolutely satisfied. My dish was Gemelli Arugula Pollo to Benzino, we loved all of them. From prepareness to amazingly freshness, you will be satisfied.

Sue H.

Yelp
I normally order from the center city branch and thus didnt think twice to order for a pick up here at Radnor. Im sorry maybe they a bad day today but the Mario pizza was waaaay too salty and my all time favorite linguini cielo was unedible. Pasta was waaay too overcooked and the chicken & shrimp literally disintegrated into the sauce which in and of itself was overly salted. Unfortunately I dont think Ill be returning to this branch anytime soon... actually ever...

marsha p.

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite restaurant. Food and ambiance is fantastic! my favorite dish is the fruitti dI mare, it is so delicious. service is great and Angelo is the Best!

Lisa M.

Yelp
Good pizza. Large portions. Great Caesar salad we did take out but the service was good at the desk if a little busy.

Caroline K.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant if you want some amazing Italian food. The service was great as well as the food! No complaints and it was a beautiful evening. Sorry for the lack of photos, we also got a pizza but there were two Karens sitting next to us who somewhat ruined our dining experience by saying rude comments loud enough for me and my boyfriend to hear about me taking photos of my food. Sorry, I'm an avid yelper! Some people need to learn to mind their business and stop being miserable Definitely not Pietro's fault - I'd come again just might get takeout instead so the obnoxious ladies aren't there to criticize me while I'm trying to enjoy my food!

Liz B.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. Patio looked very pretty. Ordered short rib pasta (excellent), pizza (excellent), fettuccine Alfredo (wasn't in the menu - was ok) and bolognese (also ok). Prices were in line with the area. Waitress was very nice and owner stopped by to check on us which was appreciated. Will try again when in the area.

Joan L.

Yelp
Came here a couple of times. The ambience is nice, with decorations that are well-planned. There are families and friends, especially in large groups. As I am usually in a small group, I kind of felt neglected as the main focus seemed to be in other groups. The food is amazing!! I've gotten a variety of foods and drinks - cauliflower pizza, margherita pizza, smoked mozerella, fried cauliflower, prosecco with cotton candy, sangria, risotto and meatballs. Of these, I really recommend cauliflower pizza, fried cauliflower, and prosecco with cotton candy. The staff is friendly and nice.

Mike P.

Yelp
The wife and I met friends here for dinner. We had the truffle fries, and also got the short rib pizza that featured a truffle béchamel sauce. I am sad to say there was virtually zero truffle I could taste I either of these dishes. Very disappointing (our friends got the same pizza and said the same thing. That said, they have a solid draft beer and cocktail Menu and the service very friendly! We would probably come back to try again. Hopefully it was just an off night for the food

Michael D.

Yelp
We were there last week for Villanova Parents Weekend. A gentleman had a medical emergency and Angelo (the manager) went above and beyond to help the man and his family until paramedics arrived. It was one of the kindest acts I've seen in a long time. I sincerely hope the man was ok. I would go back to Pietros in a second knowing such a genuine person cares for his guests as much as Angelo does. While not important that evening given the circumstances, the food was delightful.

Joe L.

Yelp
Food was very good and all of our orders came out correct. Service was slow and our server never checked in until it was time for the check.

Eva C.

Yelp
Very good! This place was perfect for lunch before a meeting in Radnor. Located amongst a line of businesses including Estia, Sweetgreens and honeygrow, the wood trimmed exterior with hanging lights offers a welcoming first impression. Upon entering on this day, we were received at the host station, located directly inside the door. We had a short wait for a table to accommodate us, as we were informed that the far side of the restaurant was full with a large holiday gathering. The wood-forward interior within our view was well appointed with a wall of alcohol to the left and open kitchen/wait staff pickup area straight ahead. FOOD. All food portions were a healthy size. The chicken pesto (roasted red pepper, mozzarella, pesto) and chicken parm came with choice of fries or salad. I was told they were both delicious. The wood fire baked Pietro pizza (smoked mozzarella, arugula and prosciutto) was, similarly, described as very good, with a crispy crust, although a bit salty. I enjoyed the fettuccine alfredo with salmon and the Mista salad (grilled chicken, carrot, mixed greens, olives, house dressing) was reviewed as good, despite the chicken being a bit too salty. Would definitely dine here again, if I'm the area. You will definitely be able to enjoy two meals from each dish, and everything was pretty tasty.

Yelp
Last night having retrieved my wife at the train station- after she had worked for almost a week in NYC - I suggested pizza and a salad @ Pietro's. A once every 4 - 5 week thing for us. As always Caesar salad (hold the croutons) and a Valentina Pizza. "Yota" the waitress whom we had never seen before in the years that we having been going to Pietro's was lovely.. Water on the table ASAP.. Basket of Hot Rolls with Humus.. Have not been given that since before Covid...Why??? Huge Caesar and wonderful Valentina. Usually can be a 3.5 - 4.5 experience ----last night .. The best ever. Thank you Yota for a job really well done.

Frank S.

Yelp
Food was great, but on the more expensive side when compared to other similar local restaurants. Worth it if you want to dine in here as the ambience is pleasant, but you really need to think if you want to spend the extra money or use your local pizzeria if you're taking out. Plus, check your order. Two of our 5 entrees were incorrect and the order was missing rolls.

Jane S.

Yelp
Delicious food and great service. Took my family visiting from Boston and really enjoyed the restaurant. My only negative is that my chicken was burnt but they took the item off the bill. Will go go back again.

Veda C.

Yelp
I usually get the pizza. But the last two times it's been burned. It's disappointing.

Amanda O.

Yelp
Food was so good, service was lovely Definitely recommend giving Ambiance made me very comfortable

Jason V.

Yelp
Wow did this place go downhill! Did this by chance sell recently and is under new ownership? Such a poor experience literally every possible touch point was 0/10. Nobody to greet me at the door upon entering. Waited for someone to tell me my chicken was coming soon, and repeated that for 5 minutes+, while the order was already 10 minutes late. I eventually left with part of my order missing because I didn't have another 10 minutes. Not apologetic zero hospitality. Won't be returning.

Jeff F.

Yelp
Disappointed in the food last night. This use to be my favorite place for bolognese. Last night was a disaster. Who makes bolognese with linguine? Poor decision by the chef who redesigned the menu ...? It was like mush, inedible. I had to return but the second plate was also overcooked. This was the story for all the pasta served at the table. When spending $27 for pasta it needs to be perfectly prepared. The stuffed meatballs were also hard and overcooked . The server was polite and accommodating but the manager had to come over to receive a replacement Bolognese. We did receive a $10.00 curtsey discount, but I would have preferred a different pasta choice. (non-offered) and having it cooked correctly the first time around. It appeared and tasted like fresh pasta, which I suspect is the culprit of the issue. No excuses for overcooking meatballs or pasta. Maybe...Get it right or take it off the bill.

Vincent B.

Yelp
No olive oil at a Italian resteraunt at the table for bread there is only hummus otherwise pretty good food, came with big party and was very accommodating nice service and overall slightly loud atmosphere

Matt P.

Yelp
We ordered chicken parm and it was borderline edible. The sauce was worse then my high school cafeteria, no where near as good as the local diner. Portion was diminutive. Pick another place or just get some pizza

Samantha H.

Yelp
My husband wanted to try their pizza after seeing Barstool's review of the one in the city. We ordered two pizzas, a plain and a pepperoni and picked it up. So, this review is solely for the pizza. The pizza was very good. It is made in a wood fired oven and is more of a Margherita style. The ingredients tasted very fresh. If you have ever had Grimaldi's in NY, Pietro's pizza reminds me of that. The price is definitely high at $19 a pie, and it's not like they are huge either. But, overall I was happy with it. I would get it again.

Courtney M.

Yelp
Yum! I love Pietros! It is the perfect spot for a casual lunch or dinner date with friends and loved ones. The ultimate combo is to split a pizza and salad. The pizzas are awesome - especially the simple margarita. It has a thin, flavorful crust that is charred and bubbled perfectly. The cheese to sauce ratio is spot on, salty and delicious. To make it even more perfect it is topped with fresh basil leaves. The sciliana salad is salty and packed with great toppings. I love to eat it along with a bite of pizza crust. Yum! All the other salads are great too - especially the kale salad.

Adriana K.

Yelp
They have one of the best vegan pizzas. It comes with basil and pea pesto and it's just overall amazing.

Ken R.

Yelp
I only come to Pietro's for pizza and salad, but I think that most people would agree that their pizza is fantastic. I was staying in Malvern and was pleased to learn there is a Radnor outpost! I usually go to their Walnut Street location in CC, and love basically everything about that location, but Radnor was a pretty good second choice. We had a large pizza with eggplant, mushrooms and kalamata olives. After having MANY different combinations of toppings, have decided this is the best and the one I order 100% of the time I'm at Pietro's. As usual, pizza was great. I have to agree with some posts that the total bill is more than you'd pay at just about any other pizza place in the area. We had one large pizza and two glasses of Bogle red and the bill before tip was $51. That's really pricy for pizza and wine, but it is really good pizza and almost worth the cost. We both agreed that the Walnut Street location makes a better pie, but I just didn't feel like driving into the city on a rainy night. Next time, for $51, I'd drive into Center City just for the better pie. Of course there will be a next time, it's awesome pizza, right?

Brian H.

Yelp
So disappointed. Worst chicken parm in this world. Sucks when you go out to eat and wish you didn't cause even you make it better. Sad day. Waste your money if you like. Won't ever return.

Kerrianne O.

Yelp
I booked my Dad's surprise birthday party here and everything about this restaurant was fantastic. It was so fantastic that this is my first time ever even writing a review for a restaurant. The manager, Angelo was a gem and extremely accommodating when a couple of my guests had dietary restrictions. He checked in on my party multiple times to make sure we were having the best time. The food was also incredible (we had meatballs, risotto, and pizza). Everyone had a great time and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you to Angelo and his wonderful staff!

Karen S.

Yelp
We had another wonderful meal at Pietro's. Our server, Ebi, was very attentive and accommodating. Our food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. We shared the cauliflower appetizer which was delicious. Our salads and other entrees were also very tasty. We also got to see another server named Ray. We have had him in the past and he too was attentive and made us feel like our business mattered. We live in in New York and make it a point to stop at Pietro's when we are in town. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area. Kudos to Ebi and Ray for doing their utmost to make diners feel welcome and for a job well done.

Paula M.

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance were all fantastic! Best part was the hospitality shown by the owner, himself! Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating! We had a party of 10 and everyone loved their meals, which came in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Trish G.

Yelp
I just had my birthday party here, and it was so perfect! It's a very cute place and the food was so good! The staff was very kind and personable and attentive. I definitely will be back and I definitely recommend!

Michael D.

Yelp
Good Pizza and drinks is Radnor. The service is good and they do well with large parties. I highly recommend the short rib pizza.

Mel P.

Yelp
Dined here for a business lunch on Friday around Noon. It was my second time here, though it had been over a year since my last visit. We were seated immediately and promptly served beverages and fresh bread with butter, olive oil, and grated Parmesan cheese on the side. Their pizzas are different and exciting, and you can also customize your toppings. My coworkers enjoyed their salads and pastas, and while I enjoyed my specialty pizza, my favorite thing was the appetizers. Risotto balls were amazing! All the food was fresh, well presented, and the perfect temperature. Entree portions were generous! Service was good. Nice, spacious dining area -- however, they seated us right next to the door the servers use to go in and out of the outside seating, which was annoying (wind blew my hair in my food every time). Other than that, we had a positive experience overall. I will be back.

Psn P.

Yelp
I went here expecting excellent food and service. I was told by the manager on the phone that there were many gluten and dairy free option, but there weren't. I was told by the server that salad was included with the salmon. I received the bill with an $8 charge for a terrible salad where I only took 2 small bites. A 20 percent tip was mandatory already on my bill. I will not be back.

Tyneisha M.

Yelp
Joined some friends here for a birthday dinner. My husband and I shared a large create your own pizza with grilled chicken and onions. It was delicious. You can truly tell the ingredients are fresh and authentic. Service was friendly and we would return.

Lakendra R.

Yelp
We recently celebrated my grandma's 89th birthday. Are table was ready as soon as we arrived. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back

Steve R.

Yelp
I believe some time ago this restaurant changed ownership or management. I could tell this because the quality of the food took a noticeable turn for the worse. Anybody else have any thoughts on this?

Caitlin M.

Yelp
I will definitely be back to Pietro's Pizza. My husband and I were going to a local show at the Radnor High School that evening so we wanted to try something new and local. We have previously been to the Walnut Street in Philly location so we had high hopes that this location was going to be just as good. Ambiance: Can be quite noisy. The first room you enter is basically the kitchen because the space is all open so you can see what is going on "backstage". However most of the seating in that room is high tops which is not always comfortable for some customers. We had reservations fairly early in the evening so we were seated in the second larger room. First half of our meal the place was practically empty, but by the time we were finished it was packed. It was a Saturday night and a Villanova game was on, so that probably contributed to the customer amount and the loudness. But I would probably keep it on the safe side and get a reservation for weekend nights. Food: Loved the food! A bit pricy but that is typical for the Wayne/Radnor area. And the food quantity was fairly fitting for the price. My husband and I shared our food because we wanted to try both their pizza and a pasta. We went with the special pizza of the evening: crab. Extremely delightful and I would definitely have again. It is not a huge pizza but plenty if you are sharing with another person and having another dish. For pasta we ordered the GEMELLI ARUGULA: chicken sautéed with arugula in a Parmesan white wine sauce. The sauce was delicious and not too thick like a full on cream sauce. We had a little bit of leftovers and both the pizza and the pasta heated up well the next day. Usually we do not do desserts but we had some time to kill and ordered the chocolate mousse. Perfect portion to share between two people after a nice full meal. Drinks: Meh on the sangria especially the Rose choice. It basically looked like a glass of water with a hint of something - maybe fruit, maybe booze, not really sure. My husband enjoyed his beer choice but kind of a downer with the sangria. I am not really sure how they messed that one up. Service: Our server was very nice but not very attentive. And like I said earlier in the review when we first arrived the place was practically empty so he was not being pushed around to many tables at once. We were in no hurry because we had plenty of time before the show, but if we were it would have been frustrating. Overall food is great, sangria sucks, service could be better, and make a reservation with plenty of time before any further plans.

Nicole M.

Yelp
I came here for a beer during happy hour to kill some time before an appointment I had. The atmosphere is really nice and trendy and the restaurant smelled like delicious, warm pizza crust which made me want some! I got a seat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender who provided me with a regular menu and happy hour menu. I ordered a bottle of #Adulting by Evil Genius at $3. It's one of my favorite IPA's. The bartender prints a receipt and puts it in a glass in front of where you're sitting each time you add to your tab. It's great for those who want to keep track of what they're spending and to make sure nothing is on the bill that shouldn't be but IMO it's a huge waste of paper. All-in-all I had a great experience, great food and happy hour prices. The only reason for the four stars is because I was absolutely freezing sitting at the bar. The air vents were right above me blowing cold air down on me. Brrrrrrr!

Bill B.

Yelp
Having been here several times It's time for a review. I have found a few things to be a little salty but usually they have bacon or pancetta in them. The al a vodka is always a fabulous dish. Have had it with and without the chicken. I prefer it without the chicken as the chicken to me seems too heavily breaded. The chicken Parmesan is huge and a different prep from the chicken on the al a vodka. Much less breading and seems different in a good way. I found the meatballs to be spongy Others in the group liked them.

Rory M.

Yelp
This location of Pietro's can be very lively, and is great for small and large parties alike! This is one of the spots my family likes to visit when we all come together - there's always something for everyone on the menu, and the service is great. I'm always looking for a "big mama salad" aka just a biiiig salad for this salad-loving girl, and Pietro's never fails me. Their small salads are a huge portion, and perfect for ordering for your entree. While this location doesn't have the mediterranean salad I like from the Walnut Street location, they do have many others. My favorite is the ARUGULA SALAD - a heaping mound of peppery arugula, with a few slices of crunchy endive and radicchio to add some extra texture and color, fresh pieces of nutty shaved parmesan cheese, and sundried tomatoes, all tossed in a simple and sweet honey olive oil & balsamic dressing. I love adding on the grilled chicken, which comes with two thin, juicy, and moist chicken breasts with flavorful char marks. The caesar salad is another great option, with a delicious, creamy dressing! The drinks are served cold, and the service is top-notch. Our waiter was very friendly and willing to make any substitutions people in our party requested, and always did so with a smile. They also allow you to bring your own dessert if you're celebrating a birthday. Pietro's is an easy-going restaurant with simple, delicious food that will please anyone. I definitely recommend this location!
