The lechon kawali and pancit [ from pop up event] were outstanding! The lechon was nicely crisp, yet tender & moist-- I thought the accompanying tomato/onion salad was perfect. Also, ordering and pick-up were a breeze, food was brought out by Chef Roel himself! I look forward to their next pop-up!

pig & fire catered our wedding reception in September 2021, and everyone at our reception agreed that the food was the highlight of the wedding! Jen and Roel not only were lovely to work with, but went above and beyond - they roasted a delicious lechon for the occasion :) We highly recommend their food and can't wait to eat more of their stuff another time!

I’ve left several messages to inquire about catering & no call back. But yet their message states they’re really good at answering text messages & returning phone calls. Thus far, poor customer service. Hopefully can get a person to communicate with to place an order to actually try the food.

I had the burger which was INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend! The quality was 5 stars and particularly during these times it's nice knowing it's a small family owned business!!

Two of my favorite things! Pig and fire!!!! How could I go wrong? That's right...I can't! I recently ordered some delicious eats from their weekend popup and it did not disappoint!!! They specialize in catering and pop ups! The pop ups are available for pickup and delivery...and need to be pre-ordered in advance during this time. Follow them on their FB and IG for their latest schedule and menu drops. Ordering was very easy as it was through the tock app and once I arrived at The Hatchery (commercial/communal kitchen complex). I texted and received my order in a matter of minutes at my selected pick up time. I had the chicken insanal skewer with garlic rice; the pancit palabok; lumpia; ube chocolate chip cookies! EVERYTHING was so flavorful and made hot and fresh! I would definitely order all of these again in a heartbeat! Chef Roel and his wife Jen are the sweetest! Make sure you give them a try! Continue to support local small businesses, wash your hands, and be kind yelpy friends!

Hot damn! What a lunch. We were able to get a couple of their Longanisa burgers brought in for lunch at work and it was mind blowing. The pork chorizo burger reminded me of something very similar I've had in lots of Vietnamese dishes. There's a sweetness to the meat that marries well with the richness from the burger. The vegetable slaw and pickles brings a great acidity to balance the wonderful mouthful of flavors. Last but not least, the garlic aioli brings a fantastic creaminess and kick of garlic. Also, love that the buns they use are from a local bakery! The only thing I wish is for a bit of heat, but even despite that, one of the best burgers by far. Pretty sure I ate that burger within five minutes. That ube chocolate chip cookie was a great addition to the meal. I love ending the meal with a sweet treat and this perfectly met that expectation. Highly looking forward to being able to visit their restaurant once we regain normalcy. Definitely will be one of the first places I go to once we can start dining out again. In the mean time, I'm keeping an eye out on their social media to order one of their pop up meals. I've noticed the meals go quickly, so make sure to be on top of it to take part!

Pig & fire catered our Christmas family dinner and the food was a hit. We ordered the chicken Inasal, lechon belly and lumpia. This was enough to feed 7 people and have a lot of leftovers for the next couple of days. The lechon skin was so crispy and marinated perfectly. The chicken inasal was different but was a hit with our Caucasian family members. Lumpia was also good. I'd like to try more of their dishes. The only thing is I think the place was a little hard to find when picking it up...just look for a gray block building and do not cross the 4 way stop if your on Albany. It's between Albany and lake.

Got the lechon kawali and pancit through the pop-up event today. Oh wow-- lechon was super crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tender on the inside! The accompanying lechon sarsa and the tomato salad were perfect. The pancit tasted freshly made. On-line ordering and curbside pickup were super-efficient. I was thrilled that Chef Roel even brought the food out himself! I look forward to their next event.

I really enjoyed my Superbowl platter. Everything was fresh and had nice flavors. I could tell that time and care went into the preparation. My wife and my daughter also loved everything, especially the ube chocolate chip cookies! The customer service was also fast and friendly.

Best small business around! Top tier service going above and beyond. Always delicious, hot food. Have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend if looking for a delicious, unique catered meal or if you're lucky enough to get a meal from one of their pop ups before they sell out!
