Chamblee Creates a Downtown Entertainment District with an Open Container Policy for To-Go Cocktails | Eater Atlanta

"Included in Chamblee’s downtown entertainment district that took effect July 1, this establishment may participate in the city’s open-container area between Ingersoll Rand Drive and McGaw Drive, allowing patrons to consume off-premise alcoholic beverages within the designated boundaries under strict rules: drinks must be served in clear plastic cups bearing the establishment’s logo and an authorized city sticker, and open containers must be disposed of by 10:00 p.m. Possession of open beverages outside the district, after 10:00 p.m., or in unauthorized containers can result in citations or fines. The district is intended to promote local businesses, walkability, and community gathering; state rules on to-go cocktails (SB 236) still apply where municipalities permit them, including limits on quantity, container type, alcohol content, and purchaser identification." - Beth McKibben

Google
Great food and friendly service. We come here regularly. Love the extensive choices; I had the tacos for the first time recently and they were great. Lots of variety

Google
I LOVE this place!!! The food is delicious and the service is unmatched! I’m a creature of habit, I find something I like and then I order it every time. The staff are awesome! They’re super friendly and they know my order. Plus, when I order wings I always order all flats and they don’t up-charge me for that. They have pride in their food and they genuinely want their customers to enjoy their meal. This place feels like the restaurants I grew up with. A real community gem!

Tried Pig-N-Chik at 5071 Peachtree Blvd and was pleasantly surprised. Had the pulled pork platter and wife had beef brisket. Both were very tender and juicy. All meats are smoked. The BBQ stew with corn and lima beans was terrific. I was told this is a Georgia classic at BBQ places. Happen to meet the owner, nice fellow, who said the new condo and apt dwellers tend to eat more upscale. But this is a real local biz with a solid hometown vibe. I've tried the place down the street and the taste, portions and service are much better at Pig-N-Chik. Small BBQ serving is always 5 oz. Anyhow, give Pig-N-Chik a go. They deliver too!

Me and my brother live less than 2 miles from here and love this place! We actually JUST ordered and ate a full rack and 3 medium sides. And banana pudding.. glorious

Google
Finally tried Pig N Chik after passing by for many years when I heard about their unlimited wings special on Mondays (all you can eat for $20). I love brisket, so I started with that and it was subpar. It was very dry (wasn’t asked if I wanted lean or fatty) and the collards needed salt. The Texas toast served with it was cold and not even buttered or toasted, just a plain piece of sandwich toast. The wings were great though and I would definitely come back for those. The restaurant itself is a bit of a dive bar feel. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the ice for drinks you scoop yourself out of a Coleman travel cooler on the counter, but it is what it is. Bring your own drinks.

Google
I worked today so no cookout food for me but I still wanted some good home cooked side dishes and decided to stop by. We ordered the green beans, potato salad and the BBQ beef brisket. We also decided to get some collards and mac/cheese. How have I gone this long and not stopped by and tried Pig N Chik BBQ? Awesomely, friendly service and really good food! Thanks!

Dustin V.

Google
If you're not going here to get food when you're in the area, what are you doing? The catfish is off the chain and the wings make you want to slap somebody. Stew had more veggies then I would typically prefer but the taste was so good that I didn't even care.

Monica V.

Google
Just got food here and I feel like we were cheated. The price was $61.30 for this. The Brisket looks like roast and the ribs were cooked in the oven. Don't go here ever. Also, they didn't have the prices on the website or the store, so I don't know how much I paid individually. I want my money back!!!

Yelp
The Smoked Turkey was AMAZING!! I ordered their smoked turkey this year for Thanksgiving and what a pleasant surprise. It really shouldn't be though... I love their bbq pork and Pig n Chik is one of my favorite spots. I arrived just before my 2:00pm scheduled pick up time on the Wednesday before. They had it bagged and ready. It comes cold with reheat instructions. I got the drippings too. Followed the instructions and it was perfect!! Full of flavor, moist and tender. Would definitely do it again.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite BBQ spots, but now that they switched to frying things in beef tallow, all their fried food tastes like garbage. The fried okra and catfish I used to enjoy so much are inedible now. Please switch back to vegetable oil! Picture of boring steamed broccoli, which really is not a susbtitute for proper fried okra. The manager's response doubled down on anti-scientific nonsense from Fox News and cluelesss crunchy moms on the internet that no medical doctor in their right mind would ever recommend. He is lying to the public about beef tallow being healthier than vegetable oil. He's also lying about the response from customers because I have heard others complain too. I'll be spending my money elsewhere.

Yelp
I am glad I came back. My meal this time was very good and the staff are still as friendly as ever. I ordered the Combo 1. I got to try their pulled pork, sliced brisket, pulled chicken, fried okra, and Mac. The pulled pork is very tender with flavor. The sliced brisket has the most flavor but it is pretty tough. The chicken has decent flavor but better texture. The fried okra was extremely good. I would come here just for that. The Mac is decent. I like their assortment of BBQ sauces. I mix the sweet with the heat.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried PnC BBQ today. Being from Texas, we decided not to try their brisket, but if it's as good as their pulled pork, then it's gotta be good! Fried okra seemed to only have a light flour batter and I found it much better than a batter with cornmeal. Also had the Brunswick stew and it was great! The gentleman that took care of us was very nice and attentive taking note and care of one of us who had dietary restrictions. Well come back next time in ATL!
google avatar

Chandrika R.

Yelp
Came here Memorial Day weekend for some bbq. The combo plate is the way to go! I couldn't decide on what sides I wanted so I got a rib combo plate and a veggie plate. So good! The ribs have a smoky flavor to them and fall off the bone. The Brunswick stew has Lima beans in it and is the perfect mix of sweet and sour. The other star was the fried okra, which was perfectly crispy, well seasoned, and not oily! I only liked the traditional and spicy bbq sauces, but had to try all of them so I know. Will def be back and so glad they're close by!

Yelp
Kewanna has unbelievable customer service! She was very proactive with educating me on the me and helping me choose a meal based on samples. Not all food is good but this place is amazing. I was heading to five guys when the fresh grill smell hit my nose and i couldnt resist!! A must try if your in the area. 9/10

Yelp
I like good stable BBQ and my chicken plate hit the mark. The serving of the plate are good. I had the chicken plate, slice, baked beans and fried okra. The chicken was moist and tender. The baked beans were amazing, not to sweet but the taste of rich molasse base. The fried okra was great. Lots of okra. The BBQ sauce was on the side cup. The sauce and chicken was amazing. My meal had carolina hot sauce and I dipped my okra on the it. Texas Toast was not toasted but I dipped the toast in the hot sauce and it was good. BBQ is suppose to taste good and not give you indigestion. This BBQ place serves good tasting meals and never a dry meat meal that is covered with lots of sauce. The price is good and the food is good. They have nice table settings and I will next time take the time and enjoy my meal in the restaurant.

Yelp
Old school Georgia BBQ spot. They have several locations around town and seem to be very consistent, but this review is for the Chamblee location. Nostalgia, that's the biggest reason I come in here. If it weren't for the prices you could walk in here and think it was 1985. The menu, the decoration, the employees, the customers. It is very comforting. I have eaten here a few times. The bbq is good as is the stew. The smoked wings are really good. Today was Friday so I got the AYCE fish fry. It was pretty good. This is no "fine dining" experience but the food is good and the atmosphere comfortable. Yes the prices are higher than they used to be. Look around the neighborhood, everything is higher than it used to be. The staff is very good and I will be back soon.

Yelp
Its been awhile(staind reference) since I've been here. The brunswick stew was great! The chopped pork sandwich was good but a bit dry. Three sauces to choose from the sweet was my choice. Ambiance is a touch of retro Atlanta with memrobillia on the walls. Service was fast. A good place for Bbq in Chamblee.
google avatar

Yelp
Always good. Love the potato salad. Pulled chicken is excellent. Pulled pork is also excellent. Usually get it to go, and the pack the product really well.

Brandon G.

Yelp
Ate a chopped pork sandwich woke up with food poisoning or something. Not sure if someone wasn't clean enough and touched the food with bacteria or if the food was bad. Stomach been hurting all day though.

Vanessa L.

Yelp
First time at this location. Ordered a pound of pulled chicken and received chicken scraps as seen in pic. Will never eat here again. (Have ordered the same at other locations and always received white meat pulled chicken).
google avatar

Yelp
Better than average but a couple things that were glaringly obvious were that the meal was served on paper which instantly becomes soggy and ripped as you eat the meat so by the time your done eating the plastic basket underneath is showing which I'm sure is not washed like a regular plate. Also the liquidy eastern Carolina style sauce they provide has too much black pepper in it. And that's coming from someone that loves spicy food. Also, I never received part of my order, then when I went to the counter to tell them they didn't believe me and asked me to show them the receipt. As if I'm trying to scam food off them.

Yelp
We had the chopped chicken. I chose to pay an extra 1$ to have all wait meat. The meat was very good quality! There were 3 sauce options - spicy, vinegar and sweet. We had sweet and it was delicious! Sides-- the Mac and cheese was okay, just a little bland. Fries were to be expected. Fried okra was very good. Baked beans were cooked nice and soft. Overall- the meat was above average but the sides were average, rating this place a four. The food came out quick, the portions were good sized, the restaurant was clean and the service was good.

Yelp
Excellent and delicious. Old school atlanta bbq. Quality food. Affordable. Brunswick stew is great

Yelp
A homey place for the Atlanta area, the service was fast and helpful, and the food was tasty.

Yelp
I was in town for business. My colleagues have talked about this place for years. I finally made it here this time. There were 13 of us. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out. Almost everyone got the pull pork sandwich or plate with various different sides. The pull pork was delicious and there are different sauces on the table for you to add. I tried 2 of the 3 and both were flavorful. I also order collard greens and sweet tots. Both were huge portions. The collard green had a slight kick to it. Overall a great experience and looking forward to the next time.

Yelp
Consistency is why I come here.. the menu hadn't changed nor has that taste. And this location always has warm friendly service!! I highly recommend the Brisket...

Yelp
One of my favorite BBQ joints in the metro area. Their chopped brisket is moist and melts in your mouth. Great Mac and cheese along with all sorts of pork goodness. Their prices are reasonable too. Family owned they are great for lunch, dinner or carry out.

Yelp
I'm usually not the person to go to a restaurant that is closing in an hour. Because honestly the staff is only thinking about going home. That's understandable. But yesterday I had to run in to grab something to eat because my meetings ran over. This review isn't really about the food. There was nothing special about the food. This review is about an exchange that I had with the cook. I ordered a side of French fries after I received my meal. I realized that the fries were taking a little longer than normal . Because the staff was shutting the place down. The cook saw me walking up to the counter and pulled the fries for me. I could tell the fries were over done. Maybe it's the grease I thought because I knew he wasn't handing me burnt fries. It wasn't the grease. The fries were burnt. I saw the cook at the counter while I was exiting. I asked him why did he give me those burnt fries. He asked me why I didn't tell him they were burnt. This is why sir. I don't cook in this restaurant. I'm sure you know ( because this is what you do) what color French fries are supposed to be. That's not my job You served them burnt because you were distracted . I'm finished eating Lesson learned

Yelp
Wings and coleslaw, can't go wrong. Good stuff! I heard from my friend that the ribs are good and smoked.

Yelp
Just solid BBQ. Pig-N-Chik has been in Atlanta for many years. There are three locations (Roswell Rd, Peachtree Industrial, and Briarcliff). This location on Peachtree Industrial can be found in an old, small brick building. It's a classic family-style BBQ joint, popular with locals including the Chamblee Police Department. You order and pay upfront. Pick-up and takeout orders are common. Drinks such as water and sweet tea are self-serve out of large metal canisters. Disposable silverware, napkins, and condiments such as Texas Pete Pepper Sauce (the vinegar sauce with green peppers, a favorite of mine) are also self-serve. Like other BBQ restaurants, assorted BBQ sauces and a roll of paper towels are provided at each table. If dining in, food is served to your table on disposable plates, which you throw away yourself once you're done eating. There are three BBQ sauces: a traditional sweet red sauce, a peppery, vinegary red sauce, and a mustard-based sauce. The traditional sauce is inside a squeeze bottle. The latter two sauces are inside glass bottles with screw tops. I prefer the traditional sauce. It's in line with the standard BBQ sauces you find on most Georgia BBQ. Try all the sauces and see which one(s) you like best. Pig-N-Chik has everything you'd expect of a typical BBQ joint: pork, chicken, beef brisket, pork ribs, turkey, even salmon and tilapia. Beef ribs are available on Tuesday and Thursday. The meats are available in sandwich form, on plates with side items, and by the pound. They also have wings. Sandwiches run about $6-7 each and you can add sides for about a couple dollars more per side. Plates start around $9. I always like to order plates when I go to BBQ restaurants. Pig-N-Chik offers three different plate sizes: small (5 oz meat), medium (8 oz meat), and large (11 oz meat). That's interesting because most BBQ restaurants do not offer different sizes. It's nice they give you the option here. The small size should suit most folks just fine. It's comparable to standard-sized plates elsewhere. Something Pig-N-Chik is known for are its "Redneck Nachos." There are fries smothered in cheese and topped with pork and BBQ sauce. I'm not a fan, but lots of people seem to love it. I like the chopped pork and pork ribs. You can have the pork pulled or chopped. I've noticed the definition of "pulled" and "chopped" pork can vary from restaurant to restaurant. At Pig-N-Chik, pulled pork means thick, chunky strands. Chopped is more "shredded," smaller pieces. I prefer chopped in this case. Both the pulled/chopped pork and pork ribs have consistent smoky flavor. When it comes to BBQ, I normally prefer pulled pork over all else (even beef brisket), but I think I like the pork ribs at Pig-N-Chik the best. They are delicious. The pulled/chopped pork can be tough and dry at times. Still not bad though. In general, the sides are good and comforting. I've tried the mac and cheese, Brunswick stew, baked beans, fried okra, and collard greens. There's nothing outstanding, but nothing bad either. Simply no surprises and if anything, they've got that home-cooked feel. My favorites are the fried okra and collard greens. The collards are prepared the traditional way with bits of pork, making the greens a bit more savory. I like to load Texas Pete vinegar-pepper sauce on my greens. Service is good. Orders are filled quickly. Sometimes, the kitchen runs out of particular items (e.g. beef brisket). Overall, Pig-N-Chik BBQ is A-OK BBQ. Miscellaneous note: The restaurant has TVs inside so you can watch news and sports.

Yelp
We just landed in Georgia what feels like a second ago. I am in a temp place and haven't unpacked everything but still wanted something special for Christmas. I found this place. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We ordered some turkey for Christmas and some pulled chicken for a trial. It is spectacular. It is a bit pricey. But the meats are perfect and getting good labor is hard to come by these days. I will be back.

Yelp
How to lose a customer who ordered once a month for at least 10 years One price on wall menu Another price on paper menu Small piece of scrap paper on wall 4" by 4" 10% up charge on all orders No indication that there is a wings split charge or up charge for flats 10% add on the everything including tax. I think not Think they are passing add on tax to IRS ... no way They should take my $40 increase and buy a new wall menu and put correct prices Up Lost me as customer To bad good barbecue $69 order turned into $100 order

Yelp
Awesome I went years ago when I worked for GM. I moved to KC. Their BBQ can't compare. Also, they have no Brunswick stew in KC.

Yelp
SewwwwwwWee!!! A strong 3 stars is all I could mustard .. .. It does deserve a better score, but I think some products are being effected by Covid-19. First let me say that the meat...good. Solid flavor. Moist. Good smokey points. Ribs came right off the bone (dog gobbled the carcasses). The okra, which can go one of two ways, and this little spot knocked it out the park. The mac n cheese .. fair, but needed a little more creamy. What killed it for me, which is a small part, but is the carrier for all the TASTY!!! The BUN! COLD, STALE, NO soakability! Maybe they're getting through old stock, but if this is vendor related..time to talk to the vendor. We will be back for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
Is this great barbeque? I guess it depends on your definition - I usually favor the heavily smoked Q you get at places like JRs - and I wouldn't place Pig-N-Chik in the same category. Pig-N-Chik's Q doesn't have that rich smokey flavor - however the tenderness of the meats, the portion sizes and the sides all make this joint a cut above most. Large pulled pork on a plate with two sides (I usually get the fresh sauted broccoli and Brunswick stew) at a medium or large portion that comes with a thick slice of bread - heavenly. I also especially like their vinegary "hot" sauce - something you don't usually see locally (the sauces at most places around here are thick and sweet). If you're looking for Q that is a bit different from the normal fare, that's tastey, fresh and juicy, this is the place for you. I usually stop by on my way to Lowes or Walmart in Chamblee.

Yelp
I went here through a recommendation so me and my sidekick , fellow yelper and sister, jettison to this fine establishment. You can see they have alot of regulars because the staff knew most of the customers. The price is fair and the staff is super friendly. The place is very clean and kept up. The food is not good for the price but not excellent. For example; if you advertise Texas toast I would think the bread would be toasted. I ask for dark BBQ chicken I got shredded chicken. We both ordered coleslaw but it was sooooooooooooooo dry that we both left it alone. She ordered a pecan pie that nearly took her teeth out because it was like eating candied tar. But the tea was good and also the BBQ sauces.
google avatar

Patric G.

Yelp
The meats are the stars here, so be prepared to be completely underwhelmed with the fried okra (it's frozen) and the mac and cheese (overcooked pasta and Velveeta-ish sauce). But you're there for the meat, remember that. Top of the list is the brisket, then the chicken, and my husband has always liked the pulled pork. Ribs are, in her opinion, "okay, too." (I don't eat pork and can't comment.) The Brunswick Stew also got a thumbs-up from him, but it's been several years since he's had it, so unless they've changed it (which would be doubtful), it's probably a good bet, too. Oh, and their sweet tea is the real deal. AND they give you thick, soft, fluffy slices of Texas toast with every meal. Bottom Line: way better and way less pretentious and WAY less crowded than Fox Bros.

Yelp
Pulled pork and hush puppies with Mac and cheese!!! Super tender and moist pork, super tasty and far from bland, awesome customer service and the perfect atmosphere.!!

Yelp
Satisfied! This BBQ was good, service was great! I had the rib plate with baked beans and macaroni and cheese. The mustard sauce was awesome!!! Most definitely will be adding to my fav bbq spots

Yelp
Had catering yesterday for a whole pig plus sides.. and we were VERY pleased with the service and quality of food! We will definitely cater here again in the near future!

Yelp
The smoked salmon and smoke turkey hot is so amazing!!! Can't wait to try all the other items on the menu !! The okra is golden and fried to perfection and the greens and baked beans aren't too shabby either!!!the meat is what I come for and will go back for !! CARNIVORES RULL!!!
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
I went because my work was across the street. I got the smoked bbq salmon (hot) and the coleslaw and the sweet potato tots. The tots were amazing. So amazing with just a touch of sweetness, so the regular bbq sauce was amazing with it. The smoked salmon was also really tasty and great with the mustard sauce on the texas toast. And the cole slaw is my achilles heel. I also finished off my coworkers baked beans, they were also very tasty. Order the sweet potato tots every time. Seriously.

Yelp
Just arrived to pick up my order, which I placed online and paid for, just to find that the restaurant is CLOSED. Doors locked, lights out, no one inside. Why are they taking orders and people's money if they're closed ?!

Yelp
Arrived in Georgia in Nov 18, looking for good BBQ... We found it! Pleasant Sunday, warm weather, cold beer ,sweet tea. Tater salad, ribs and blues playing in the background. We'll be back! Oh, one more to go. Thanks
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Every time I come here the food is great. I still haven't tried everything on the menu but the pulled pork, beef brisket, tater salad and ribs are some of my favorites. The only slight downside is the prices are a little high, but I guess they make up for it in quality and taste. Overall a good spot for tasty bbq.

Carl C.

Yelp
Ordered the #2 combo with a drink. Lady working night taking orders charges me for the 2 sides that should be included with the meal. $32 and some change she declares. I call her our for the heist and she refuses to admit any wrong and just babbles 10% increase. Will not be going back as long as that scam artist is around.
google avatar

Quiana E.

Yelp
I order takeout here all the time. I usually get the wings which are great IMO. They have great customer service. I know that this is a BBQ spot but I have yet to try the BBQ.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
My family comes here nearly weekly lately. We come for the consistent quality of food, the friendly service and the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I default to the chopped beef brisket and vary my sides. Everything that all of us have tried ha been good so far from the baked beans to the beef ribs to the corn dogs for the kids to the fried okra that's as addictive as crack cocaine....maybe not that addictive but close. One of my favorite parts is the Carolina style "dip" or sauce. I lived in Lexington, NC for a while and this "dip" is the closest thing I've found to the original stuff in NC in Atlanta. I strongly recommend this place for whatever kind of BBQ you're searching for.

Yelp
Delivery? Check! Every kind of chicken (BBQ, pulled meat, all white...), pork, beef, ribs, fingers, even corn dogs for the kiddies (or big kids!)?? Yep! A plethora of side choices, from steamed broccoli to fries to stew? Of course. Half or whole pigs available too, plus catering and large take-out orders?? You bet. I am now an official fan of the locally famous Pig-N-Chik. This is GOOD stuff. Last night's delivery pretty much overwhelmed me, mostly due to the amount of meat I got with the two - yes, TWO - sandwiches I was silly enough to order. I couldn't decide between the all-white pulled chicken on Texas toast and the pulled pork on the same, both with lots of lettuce and tomato, so I ordered both. I was already thinking "what a deal!" at $5.00 alone or $6.10 with one side but when they arrived and there was about a whole chicken and pig per sammy, well, let's just say if I'd ordered more bread I'd be able to have at least two more sandwiches today!! My friend got the medium pulled pork plate, and thought the brunswick stew was good but didn't love the mac and cheese. My steamed broccoli was good but we both agreed that our best pick was the large size order of perfectly cooked crinkle fries we got - somehow they were still totally hot and crispy after delivery! Yum. My only question now is whether to have that pork sandwich I didn't eat yesterday for "brunch" now . . . or to use the rest of my chicken leftover and make a tasty omelette . . . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A Post-Script: Just had the Pork . . . Soo-Weeee!! I don't know if that's the appropriate "call" here, but what the heck, the meat was THAT good. Seriously, I may never get P-N-C's chicken again!! Moist even the day after, and I loved the BBQ sauce. A must-order, hands-down.

Yelp
Good food and friendly service! First time here. The ribs fall right off the bone. The Brunswick stew was awesome. The fried okra is also extremely satisfying. I would definitely visit again and recommend. The place is very southern and comfortable nothing too over the top.

Yelp
I visited a friend in Brookhaven a couple weeks ago and we ordeded from here. To my surprise it was the best dang bbq I have had in a while. I didnt even need sauce the ribs where so tender and juicy. I live in Athens Ga and i have ate at all the bbq joints out here and y'all have them beat by 10 miles. If y'all ever decide to make a Athens location in sure your business will flourish. Until next time thanks.

Yelp
Dependably, reliably delicious barbecue joint, especially for pulled pork. Unfortunately, this location has been closed for roughly the past month. Anyone know what's going on here? My lunchtime crew and I have been jonesing for the pig and this is our closest favorite. The management has a sign up saying other locations are still open. There are piles of furniture and boxes inside. (**Update: Re-opened March 23. Still tasty.) When it re-opens, a few comments: - I don't agree that this is a good place for groups. The max you can probably get in here on a typical lunch day is four people, unless you split up. Tables go fast from 11:30 a.m. till about 1:30 p.m. - This is not my favorite mac-and-cheese, if you want that as a side. Go with the veggies instead, or just a barbecue sandwich and fries. Brunswick stew is tasty, too. - Some of the 'cue servings come in portions of either "small," "medium" or "large." It took me a few tries to understand that "small" barely fills me up and "large" is almost too much to eat. If you're at all hungry, get a "large" portion. - As noted elsewhere, I'm a veteran BBQ fan and prefer my 'cue chopped or chipped, not sliced or pulled. That said, I still endorse this joint.

Yelp
Didn't realize you weren't supposed to fill the customer's cup up when they order a drink to go.... ‍

Yelp
Listen, this place is the best definition of don't judge a book by its cover. The food is good, The environment is chill, and ordering is simple. This is good for lunch, or the evening.

Yelp
This is the 2nd Pig-N-Chik I've experienced. They provide a reliably good selection of standard barbecue fare. Folks are friendly, and service is quick. The food is what I've come to expect from the Pig-N-Chiks elsewhere: prepared by someone who really gets into their barbecue. This is a solid place to get a 'cue fix. Holler if you want some company.

Yelp
Just spent nearly 200.00 and was charged a 3.9% non cash adjustment. It was a card present transaction and the fee should be no more than 3%. Unfortunately I didn't tip because of it. Been buying from these guys since they opened but will try someplace new next time. Greedy business practices.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday at lunch time. Walked up to the counter only to stand there for well over 5 minutes waiting to order, while four employees were chatting in the corner at the other end of the counter. No one said hello, or even looked at us. Walked right past another employee sitting down texting on the way out. They were not busy. Hypothetical benefit of the doubt; let's say they were having an impromptu meeting, at least say hello be right with you... Very weird experience. Walked right out the door.
