Cool atmosphere, great vibes, yummy food and amazing views! What more can you ask for? Friendly service, drinks and food came in a timely manner! Great spot to come with friends! Loved the live music and beach area with a bunch of activities to do as well as plenty of seating and a DJ! Absolutely loved, definitely will be back!

WILDWOOD: One of the most unique spots we have visited, PigDog Beach Bar is a must-try restaurant and bar tucked along the beach side of Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Parks, the iconic boardwalk amusement park. Finding PigDog can be a little tricky, so here is the scoop: you will need to walk through Morey’s Piers all the way to the end, past the waterpark, and across a few scenic ramps until you arrive at this hidden oasis. The walk itself is part of the fun, with awesome views of the Ferris wheel and rides along the way. Just keep in mind, it can get crowded and noisy, so pups that are sensitive to hustle and bustle might need some extra care. Pig Dog is a seasonal tiki-style bar and restaurant where leashed, friendly dogs are welcome. Expect good vibes, ocean breezes, and plenty of American-style eats and drinks. There is even a dog menu and Brie was treated to ice cream (thanks, Madison!). The indoor area is spacious, fully covered, and has wind barriers for cooler days. Outside, you will find flat sandy ground that is easy to walk on, with extra seating, swings, and games right on the beach. The PigDog was okay—excellent location and views, drinks were good, and the service was great. Very nice people. The only thing that missed the mark was the food, which came out fast but didn’t taste fresh. I ordered a BBQ burger with brisket from the lunch menu but the burger tasted pre-cooked, cheese was packaged cheese, and the brisket was fatty and dry. Nothing seems to come with BBQ sauce but if you ask for it they will give you a small rack with 3-4 different types which were really good. For $18 I expected more than literally a bag of plain Lays chips as a side; they could at least give kettle chips if they’re not going to make their own, or offer fries. A little more effort on the food could make this place great. Specifically with the drinks: the pina colada’s were awesome. I’ll give them a try again in the future.

PigDog was a fantastic experience. You get the great ocean breeze, the beautiful view, along with some pretty great food as well! I got the PigDog Wings (Buffalo), Cuban Fries, and the Wild Wooder margarita.. that drink was out of this world, I ended up getting two!!

Great atmosphere within the pier at Moreys. It’s nice having the beach views as well as the water park views. They always seem to have live music which is a huge plus!

Renter the beach elevated cabana. So worth the money great views of the ocean. Close to walking back and forth the water park. Bean bags and stuff for the kids. Right on the beach. Our private server OLIVIA was absolutely fantastic. She was on it the best around. Drinks were great and food was amazing. Highly recommend.

I recently visited and ordered the BBQ Beach Burger. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was disappointing. The burger patty was comparable to fast food and lacked freshness, while the brisket on top was overly fatty and without much flavor. Overall, the food quality fell far below expectations. This is unfortunate, because the location has potential to be a great spot to gather with friends. With an investment in higher-quality ingredients and more attention to preparation, the experience here could be significantly improved. The drinks were enjoyable, but the poor food quality ultimately led my party of six to decide we won’t be returning for a meal. I hope management takes this feedback, along with similar reviews, into consideration as an opportunity to elevate the dining experience

Very very very overpriced .. and I HATE when items don't come with fries. Having said that the beach spot is very cute. Great ambiance. Good frozen mixed drinks. The fries were EXCELLENT. Shrimp tacos were good. Didn't love sitting on a bench, but it's on the beach.

This place is always a lively and fun atmosphere. The food is decent, the view of the beach is nice, the staff is always friendly, and the crowd is fun. But...THE PRICES! YOWZA! I get it that it is the location, but some of the food is definitely not worth the cost.

The food is so so, the service is decent, the view is great, but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. Almost $15 for two crappy shrimp tacos? 9.50 for a beer? Moreys are greedy. It's a shame. Shrimp tacos - 2.5 Nachos. - 3.5 Prices - 0.0

First time coming to PigDog for dinner with my cousin. It's both our first time here, so I was curious what was on the menu. Really great options to choose from, descriptive and tasty. We did go 30 minutes before closing on a Monday night, so it was a little dead, however, the service was still good. Our waiter was very nice. The hostess, Ava, also was very kind when seating us even with the slow day. Drinks and appetizers came out fast, and there were even extra barbecue sauces that came out with my sandwich. Prices for the food may be a little high, but I believe it was worth it. The meat was tender and flavorful, it was very delicious. PigDog is a nice little bar any family or couple can enjoy. Also near the beach, get a view of the waves as you eat. 7.8/10!

Great experience all around. Food was good, our waitress was very knowledgeable and super helpful with our food allergies. Kids loved that corn hole was an option, as did dad and I. All in all definitely recommend.

Shrimp taco and watermelon mojito, tacos were so good, pricey but what u expect for boardwalk beach bar. Tacos were soooo good wish there was more or a side. Old man bartender was kinda rude - came at 11:30 (opens at 11) and the bartenders seemed annoyed ppl were there when they were open. He was very snippy really just why i gave three stars. The atmosphere is amazing tho so cool

What a great atmosphere. Tons of cool games in the sand. We stopped in for lunch since we were at the water park. Promptly seated The staff was friendly Fries were tasty. Buffalo chicken dip was good Kids tenders were good My burger was way undercooked. By the time the waiter returned my family finished eating so I stuck to fries and chips. It was ok. Not sure I'll be back.

What a huge disappointment! What a waste of a location! Food was horrible and everything came out cold! Thrash can nachos was exactly that! We got brisket, burnt ends, and mac and cheese and all was horrible. Too bad because the location on the beach is the best. Just don't eat any food!!!

Conveniently located on wildwood beach, the ambiance is very nice especially later in the evening with a nice ocean breeze. Food portions are generous & tasty. Service is always great.

We consistently have the best experience here every summer. The drinks are soooo yummy, the vibes are so great with the live music and beach just steps away, and the staff are so attentive. A business that's managed very well. Can't pass up the trash can nachos, cheese fries or buff chicken dip. We always leave full, tipsy and happy - lol. Wildwood needs one on every pier. Wish it was bigger.

My friend and I haven't seen eachother in many years and we decided to stop by PigDog for a simple drink. Laman was our server and she was so patient and professional that we decided to make it our dinner as well. She carefully explained what items would work with my friend's food allergies and made sure we were good without being too overbearing. So glad to have stopped in, props to Laman! Hope to be back real soon.

Good food and the service from our waiter was fantastic. Was informed they "can't" split checks (or as the manager stated, "don't like to") which is pretty odd considering every other place on the pier has no problem with doing so. He actually wanted us to Venmo it rather than learn how to use a simple POS system. Seems like the manager should step down and let someone who knows how to use today's technology manage the restaurant.

This is the best place to enjoy the beach in Wildwood. The drinks are amazing. I recommend the Jersey Shore. & the food is delicious. If you do not get the trash can nachos then you are missing out. We took our drinks down to the beach chairs after eating and it made for such a great afternoon. The servers are very friendly, but sometimes are in a bit of a rush. Live music, drinks, beach, and nachos make for a perfect day.

Food and service is better than some may expect at a Wildwood Beach Bar/Restaurant. Prices are fair considering its an resort location. Myself, my wife and our kids haven't ever been disappointed with anything we've ordered. We are Morey's Season Pass holders so weve eaten here often. We've had Ceasar Salad with Grilled shrimp, Burgers, Chicken Tenders, Tacos, Cheesesteaks, and more! A favorite of ours is the Trashcan Nachos! They have a full service bar with Beer, Liquor and so good frozen drinks. They also have live music, the musicians are always pretty good and preform songs most everyone knows. My only complaint is in my opinion that some of them could turn the volume down 3 or 4 levels. Yes, they sing and play well, just for me, it's hard to have a conversation when they are playing. Again, that's my personal opinion, not an attack on the talent of the performer.

This a fantastic beach bar with the BEST views and the friendliest staff. I visited twice during my trip and on the second visit the hostess greeted my dogs by their names! The food is exceptional. The ambiance is unmatched. Live music every night I visited. Easily accessible from the boardwalk or street. The Pigdog is now a staple of my trips to Wildwood/Cape May.

The good, It's a really nice setting to eat dinner, The staff is friendly, it's a bit pricy but not terrible.

Food was not great. Rushed serviced, was still eating and they came and said can we take that. Before i could answer my plate had hands on it. Way overpriced. One drink 3 apps with tip $100 AWFUL

Atmosphere is unbeatable. Confusing to get to. Only got drink and apps, but the fry app was really good.

I'm sorry but what a bad experience, service and food quality. Started out with waitress taking orders and we confirmed twice what we wanted. Food comes to the tables: *3 orders of the brisket sandwich and they are dry as hell, with no gravy or bbq sauce on them *2 orders of the fried shrimp po boy, again with no Cajun aioli sauce and 3 over fried small shrimp on a huge bun with a pound of lettuce and no tomatoes *Buffalo chicken dip, taste like pure tuna fish and no type of spice *shrimp tacos, asked for just lettuce and tomatoes on it, they bring it with coleslaw and 3 overcooked rubbery shrimps Then we can't find our waitress and she doesn't come back to the table for about 30 minutes, I give her back the tacos and I don't want to order anything else because I'm already disgusted. Then she walks away with no care and doesn't even ask if we need anything or gives anyone else at the table a chance to express their feelings about their food. She disappears again, no refills on our drinks and when we ask another waitress if she can find our waitress, she smiles and says, she's busy...like wtf there's only 6 other tables booked in the entire restaurant and you have about 15 employees just walking around cleaning tables and we couldn't even find a manager! I wish we had pictures of all the food we left on the table because it was just sad. Definitely not worth my trip!

This is one of the smartest, well thought out, friendly, feel like home stops on the way to the beach! The trashcan nachos will feed four easy for the price. The drinks, well lets just say, we stayed an extra hour before we hit the beach! I highly recommend the Pina Colada and Bushwhacker! Ask for Amanda! She's the best!!!

Today was our third time to pig dog and it was such a disappointment. Our first experience in September 2020 was the best, last June 2022 bad, and this year the worst. But we came back thinking it was just an off night. Our server was very kind. But she kept disappearing. At one point she was off cleaning a cabana while we waited and waited for her to come bring us the check for over 20 minutes. She seemed a bit scattered and when she would come over she was very loud and quick to walk away. It was strange. Also, she never offered us another drink (even though we were clearly out or low). The food is really where pig dog struggled, though. We got the nachos and I'm sorry but what a waste! First of all, they were slopped together with stale chips, and queso and salsa from a can. The cheese sauce wasn't even warm and it barely covered the chips. We opted not to get meat since we were getting meals too, but it definitely needed some. The kicker - the plain nachos cost $21 - and it would've been another $6.50 to add meat. Which is absurd for what you get. Don't waste your money on these! Chicken salad sandwich and pulled pork sandwich were both alright. However, the shrimp tacos lacked flavor. The shrimp itself was just plain and then the taco had undressed cabbage, and was supposed to have a sauce and pineapple jicama salsa - but both were in such small quantity you could barely taste them. It was all way too bland - so unless you like that, another skip. All in all, it's pretty disappointing because this could be a great spot with the atmosphere and cool beach views. The games are great too. But the food and service really need to step it up.

This was our best find in Wildwood New Jersey! Great addition to this amazing beach town. Great live music, highly recommend the Cuban fries, but everything we had on the menu was spectacular. Staff went above and beyond to make this fun and friendly. We ate there after spending the day in the water park great way to relax and unwind after. Upon our visit we realized they had the cabanas we will totally rent one of those our next trip to Wildwood

First time here and won't be my last. The only place I know of nearby where you can sit right on the beach by the ocean and have dinner. Great live music and the Trash Can nachos are so good (with pulled pork)! People were so nice. And completely dog friendly. Loved it!

a little expensive but not unreasonable for a restaurant directly on the beach! the food was absolutely delicious and the daquiri was to die for.

I went here to get some dinner on a trip down the shore with friends over Labor Day Weekend. We chose this spot because it was dog friendly and right next to the beach. They even took a picture of my friend's dog and added it to their collection of Instax pictures of dogs in the dining area. It was sort of tricky to get here from the boardwalk but we figured it out -- you have to walk all the way to the end of Morey's Pier towards a water park and then there are signs that lead to the restaurant. It was a nice, big open space and was also very family-friendly. There was a musician playing live music near where we were sitting as well. There are also options to sit on the beach for the beer garden portion of this spot, and it looked like there are small cabanas to rent out as well. The service was also amazing, our server came around to ask if we needed anything during our meal multiple times. In terms of drinks, I ordered a Jersey Shore frozen drink and my friends all ordered watermelon mojitos. I enjoyed my frozen drink a lot, but only ordered 1 since the drink menu was more on the expensive side for Wildwood. I got the shrimp tacos and my friends ordered the chicken tacos, veggie quesadilla, and brisket quesadilla. My friends really liked the quesadillas but me and my friend that ordered the tacos agreed that they were pretty bland and not well-seasoned. They were also not very filling since only 2 tacos came with each order. Overall, my impression was that I would come back here for the great service, dog friendly, family friendly, and beach vibes, but maybe only grab some drinks and skip out on the food.

these tacos where very tasty and delicious. they are loaded with fresh and tasty ingredients. the service was quick and rapid. The scenery is shore themed with a huge beach area where you can play cornhole.

Came here looking for shade on the beach and this place was awesome! Live music, good drinks and even better food! We ordered the fries with cilantro dip, the fried fish hoagie and the black tea carafe. Everything was delicious and fresh. The bread for the hoagie was soft and great all on its own but the fried cod was the star of the show here! The place is right on the beach so you can opt for on the sand seating if you'd like. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in wildwood and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice spot to hang and eat good food with friends.

Excellent ambiance! After a day at the beach, walked over here for drinks and appetizers. Excellent service, no wait, games, hammocks, live music and Covid friendly outdoor area to eat. The Buffalo Chicken dip was one of the best I've ever had!!! The Cuban Fries are tasty. Excellent view!!!

Honestly so many people recommended this place and it was truly disappointing. We started with the trash can nachos and they were ice cold. The place was dead and food took forever. The nachos were $26!!! My husband ordered the brisket $26 for four small pieces. Our server was stoned out of his mind. The prices for food were outrageous. There are definitely better places. And their restrooms are NOT ADA accessible as it's a porta potty on the beach. The only star i gave it was for the view.....so unfortunate

Yesterday my husband and I went to Pigdog for the first time. We got the pulled pork sandwich and two drinks. The sandwich came out cold, our drinks took 30 mins and the bathrooms were disgusting. It's is extremely unfortunate this place isn't being run correctly. Great location, great staff. Our waitress Lidia was witty and charming. She did warn us when we ordered that the bar was "backed up" however I didn't realize that meant 30 minutes for 2 drinks!! I wish I could recommend this place but unfortunately it was a massive let down.

They're super friendly, and very accommodating. Recommended us the frozen margarita when we were indecisive of what should we get, even though there was a crowd behind us in line the bartender was attentive and spoke nicely. The margarita was good!

Great location on the wildwood boardwalk. Tons of staff on 4th of July weekend. Tasty drinks and good beer selection. We had the canned nachos. They were good but could have used a bit more chicken. Enjoyed chatting with the staff and looking T the beach while we hung out

Going downhill quickly. The last time I was there the food was horrible and the place was dirty. There was actually poop on the seat of the picnic table we were sitting. I wanted to throw up. I would not recommend it. Great location, but they need to invest in a better type of table that they can clean. Get rid of the wood.

Great place to bring the kids. Entertainment, decent food and great service. Right on the beach. Probably the best restaurant on this strip.

Just to start our server V is amazing he is so nice and even took our picture. We got the trash can nachos they where amazing. Then the main food I got the bbq beach burger. And fries. Amazing The view is awesome of the beach. Also they have games on the sand. A great thursday night meal. Thanks V

How is this place not packed all of the time?! probably because it's kind of hidhen behind the rides and water park on Morey's pier.. and we were even sure we were aloud to go there but when we did find it.. literally on the beach, the food was yummy, cold drinks, great service...and the family games and hammocks on the beach made for a perfect summer day.. wish I coud spend every day here

You can't beat the views here! Located at the end of Morey's Mariners Landing Pier there are seats on the beach or deck. They offer a menu with something for everyone and a full bar. Dogs are welcome and there is a stage and live music throughout the day. A great choice when spending the day at the beach or water park. The staff are friendly and offer a discount if you have a Morey's season pass if 10% off your total. The bbq pork sandwich is full and packed with flavor! Go relax and have a good day staring out at the ocean with your favorite drink in hand, and forget all your worries.

Nice atmosphere and right on the beach. Drinks were okay, nothing special. If you just want drinks you can not sit at a table, only bar seating which was limited and tiny. We were there about an hour before closing and dozens of tables were open. After a couple of drinks we probably spent more on drinks than some do on food. It's was unfortunate we couldn't sit at a table. Drinks were mediocre. Some of the drinks I had: pina colada (ok, but rather tasteless), rum runner (disgusting. I could not even drink it), margarita (it seemed like it was in slushy form but melted by the time the bartender gave it to me. Probably the better tasting of the 3 drinks but nothing worth remembering).

We been there few times, we love the ambiance and their friendly servers, we will be back for sure, this is one of my favorite place in wildwood.

Pig Dog is a really cool addition to the Wildwood beach and boardwalk! I only wish I lived closer so I could stop in for drinks off the beach! They have a good selection of drinks and beers (including two different sized draft cups) and both our server and bartender were really friendly. There was also live music which was cool. My boyfriend and I shared the loaded fries, which were pretty good, though I didn't like the chili sauce on them. They were also huge and way too much alongside our sandwiches. I had a pulled pork Sandwich which was really delicious and not dry at all. My boyfriend had the smoked turkey sandwich and especially enjoyed the sauce. My only wish is that their menu had a few more options-- I would like to bring my mom here, though she is not much of a BBQ fan. I think they could use a few more chicken/seafood options.

Went here after spending time at the water park s. Got a burger and the trash can nachos. Pricing was good for the boardwalk, good food, and the server Bre was wonderful. Live music was nice. Would recommend

I wanted to give this more stars. The seating situation sucked real bad for us. They claimed they didn't have any seating upstairs but it looked like they did. They sat us at a pretty bad table in the heat and sun if that was it - it wouldn't be that bad - however we kept catching a whiff of something incredibly putrid during our meal. The food was delicious we had shrimp tacos and a pina colada! It just made it a very bad experience we thought we were sitting next to the garbage but realized it was a dog poo bin!!!! Why put a table next to that!!!! They really lived up to the name Pig Dog! The stench really ruined our dining experience and I actually felt nauseous. I had a feeling it was a bad idea when my husband mentioned the name and that he wanted to go there. Hot humid sun eating while sweaty and smelling dog poo - just be warned tell the waitress to sit you elsewhere if you see this. It was too late in our meal to tell the waitress! But come on the restaurant should have not put a table there.

Food was delicious! Portions were great. Got any bbq platter, plenty of leftover for a snack the next day. Staff was friendly and attentive despite the wind storm around us.

Food was amazing and drinks were pretty good as well. Typical beach prices. Service was a bit slow to wait on us but once we got a waiter she was great.

Great environment once you navigate through the crowded ride area and wander the path (it's behind the water park tucked away). Tables socially distanced and wait staff were friendly and masked. My mom bad the pulled pork platter and enjoyed it, a smidge dry at points but overall good. Excellent cole slaw. My Brisket Quesadilla was average but hot and fresh so I was happy. We shared fries and my daughter enjoyed her chicken tenders. Excellent drinks (pina colada and lemon shakeup) that came out cold and fast. Overall enjoyed our dinner and recommend for the laid back atmosphere and ambience.

I had one beer here, it was good but was enjoyed with a great view. Expect to pay resort / beach prices for everything. I recommend you go on a Sat or Sun because the musicians are really good and entertaining. Full bar, probably 4-5 draft choices. Food looked good. Cant beat the views.

I was at the PigDog Beach Bar yesterday. I loved the view of the beach and the waitress was great. The food was horrible I ordered chicken fingers and French fries they came out soggy and barely warm so I sent them back. The waitress apologized and got me a new order which was not any better. The chicken fingers tasted like they threw them back into the grease for a few minutes just terrible. I sent them back and ordered a cheeseburger it came out lukewarm, stale bun and the meat didn't taste very good. I gave up after that I paid for the cheese burger and gave the waitress a generous tip because it was not her fault the food was terrible.
