Pizza Brothers

These 2 Brothers have created some exceptional flavors with their pizzas. The jerk chicken pizza was AMAZING!!! And the buffalo chicken pizza was truly the best I've ever had. The Michael Jordan pizza lived up to the name and don't get me started on those lemon-pepper wings...10 out of 10 out of 10. The service was on par with the food and I will most definitely be back. I've already told at least a dozen people about the brand new PIZZA BROTHERS. I love what you guys are doing.

Amazing Caribbean food. The owners are welcoming & super hospitable, very passionate about their business. I tried almost all the patties, and I highly recommend the regular beef & salmon patties. The crust is perfection. Loved the jerk chicken, it has a bit of sweetness to it. And the oxtail was pretty solid! Can't wait to come back & try other menu items!

delicious delicious delicious! for the vegan vegetarian and meat lover in everyone! first time here and will definitely come back for more! had the oxtail platter. it came with rice and beans, stewed cabbage, and plantains! it was so delicious! it hit the spot. will have to try the jerk chicken next and also the vegan versions.

Recently, I visited Pigeon Peas with friends, all eager to indluge in Caribbean cuisine. The menu was brimming with mouthwatering choices, and made our decision-making process delightfully challenging. To kick things off, I ordered the Pumpkin Patty ($5), which was good but not outstanding. My friends enjoyed the Cauliflower Wings, although the $16 price tag for a dozen felt steep. The Vegan Jerk Kebab ($18) was the highlight. Bursting with flavor, feelings of love, and delightful textures, it was a winner. My friend wholeheartedly agreed. The rice, on the other hand, was just okay. The service was frustratingly slow, despite the minimal patrons. The delay was so significant that I had to rush and take the remainder of my dinner to-go. While the staff was friendly, there was a noticeable lack of communication and organization. Notably, pizza was unavailable during our visit. Also, Pigeon Peas does provide options for those who prefer fish and meat dishes. Despite the hiccups, I'm willing to give Pigeon Peas another try, opting for take-out. I'm rooting for them to reach its full potential as a local Caribbean gem with vegan offerings, and with a few adjustments, I believe they could achieve abundant success. 🌴 My true rating is 3.5

Wait time: 7/10 (take out at 10pm) Service: 8/10 Food: 4/10 Ambience: small, family, Caribbean Price point: 6/10 Would return: not sure/ probably not I was really hoping to like their food based on a review I saw however…… I got the oxtail and jerk chicken and Popeye juice. The oxtail was o and k. Nothing to call home about and the quantity for the amount paid was an insult. The rice and peas… well it’s honestly the worst we’ve ever had, which pains me to say. The jerk chicken wings (which was posted as a special, yet I paid the same price as the regular jerk chicken meal 🤷🏽‍♀️) was more of bbq chicken than jerk chicken. There was no jerk at all. But for bbq taste was o and k. The cabbage… it was not tasty at all. Idk what seasoning they used, but nah, definitely wasn’t it. The plantains were not that great either. The best thing was the Popeye purple juice. Perhaps their vegetarian options are better.

Tried the vegan oxtail and it was actually pretty good, especially paired with the vegan patty. The flavors were on point and satisfying. The only downside was the portion size it was a bit small for the price. Overall, though, it was a good experience and I’d try it again.

Just like most carribean spots the service was VERY sloooooow. I asked the lady for my smoothies while I waited for the food. She totally disregarded that and let them sit for 22 minutes while my food cooked. I asked her to remove the rice and give me double cabbage. I got my plate and there was only a spoonful of cabbage. They were crunchy. The salmon slice was about as long and as wide as two fingers..the plantain was hard and dried out. And the salmon patty was as flat as a pancake..they sprinkled the salmon into that patty like garnish on a salad. $7 for a flat patty $20 for a bite of salmon and a spoonful of cabbage. UMPH!! And the smoothies were almost sample size

I'm always looking for a restaurant that sells good chicken roti. So I had been waiting to check out Pigeon Peas. Today was the day. I understand each person cooks different from the next and cooking for many is different than cooking for your family. Knowing this I ordered chicken roti and jerk chicken. I waited almost a 1/2 hour for the order. Ok fresh food takes time to cook. When I arrived home less than 10 minutes away. I was surprised to find the food was not hot. Again no problem - I'll warm the jerk chicken up. So we began to eat the roti. The flavor was fine curried potatoes, cubed chicken breast, and chickpeas. The issue was the flavor was only on the outside of the chicken, potatoes and chickpeas. It had not infused into the roti. The roti skin was very good and flavorful. The jerk chicken was fine but it was not jerk chicken it was barbecued chicken. No taste of jerk seasoning. Everything was edible but it was lacking the Caribbean touch I was looking for. I also understand since COVID everyone has increased their prices but over $40 was too much. Also I realized when I got home the prices on the chart on their counter was not what I was charged. It was more plus tax. Everyone in the place was friendly and attentive. The place appeared to be very clean and the music playing was good. I wish Pigeon Peas the best of luck.
