15 Fabulous Cocktail Bars to Try in Phoenix

"Discerning drinkers love slinky, dimly lit Pigtails, an intimate hideaway with a hard-to-find, speakeasy-style entrance. Cleverly-named cocktails are arranged in categories such as bold n’ boozy, fun n’ fresh, and cool n’ nerdy. Consider the signature cold brew shot or, for a splurge, the $100 VIPig made with Macallan 18-year-old scotch and Hennessy VSOP. There’s a second location in Desert Ridge." - Nikki Buchanan, Jamie Killin

We stopped here after the Diamondbacks game and made it just in time for their Happy Hour. We were seated immediately. Our servers were super quick and processed. The cocktails are always fun and unique. The oysters were fresh and delicious! The atmosphere was fun, and it was a lovely experience.

Google
I’m only giving 2 stars as this review mainly pertains to the poor service we received. The drinks are fantastic and we had many! Highly recommend the espresso and dirty martini. The porkbelly nachos are also to DIE for! We were a large walk in party of 7, the hostess was extremely friendly and sat us right away at the booth in the back which was amazing. The ambiance is extremely inviting. Now for the not so great part, our server Carly S. Carly was extremely hostile and slow with service. We felt like she was avoiding us and that we were inconveniencing her. Maybe she was having a bad day but it was a very negative experience. It was such a negative experience we ended up, after multiple attempts to find her, closing out and just going to a different bar. Would have been 5 stars had we just had a better server or sat at the bar.

Google
This place is such a vibe! Good music, atmosphere, and Francisca is an amazing mixologist! Tell her your favorite spirit if you like something sweet or not and her brain takes off 🤩!

Google
This place was on our bar crawl list, and although they probably didn't know they were part of a bar crawl, they accommodated 7 of us fairly quickly. The atmosphere was really cool. Dark, fun, and mysterious. Everyone was friendly. The only dislike was this witches brew drink they recommended. It was not good at all. It looked cool, but it was not good. Other than that, everything else was awesome! Especially the nachos! They were delicious!

Google
This speakeasy was a bit hard to find at first as they tend to be but we finally found it. The drinks were spot on good with a pretty presentation, the food 👌🏽tasty, our waiter was cool, loved the decor. (Next time I’ll take photos of that part) I would describe the atmosphere like Boho mixed with a late night chill NYC bar vibes if that makes any sense 😆

Google
Pigtails is by far my favorite cocktail spot downtown. Carley, our usual bartender continues to be a reason we come back, she’s friendly with great customer service and people skills! All around amazing place with an even better staff.

Ivonne Reyes

Google
The place was very small, and the service was disappointing. We had to get up and find a staff member to take our order. On top of that, they don’t validate parking, which was frustrating. The food was underwhelming and definitely not worth the price.

Google
This is a nice intimate place to have a drink with a couple of friends. The lighting is perfect for the atmosphere and it is not very noisy. There is an excellent selection of drinks (shaken and stirred) as well as cocktails. The last two times I visited, there have been tables/booths available. Servers are there to help right away, the team is always on top of drinks. The one downside is this place is a little pricey.

Yelp
Cool bar that was hard to find. It's marked on the outside, but you kind of walk through a kitchen then into the quaint little bar. You enter the bar from Central Ave just south of the hot dog place. There were about 8 of us and some weren't drinking and it had a nice mix of cocktails and mocktails. I had the Mezcal Cocktail (I can't remember the name) and it was delicious. We stayed about 45 mins or so and enjoyed the back corner booth. Service was great as he kept checking on us. It was fairly busy, but not overly packed on a Friday night. We walked right in and got the last table. I'd go again and try some more unique cocktails. Fun spot!

Yelp
This is a great downtown Phoenix speakeasy. You know you're there when you see the a-frame sign with a pig drawn on it--no words, just the pig--on the sidewalk out front. Just go through the little room with the kitchen counter, and through the door. It's a great atmosphere, dark and cozy. There are tables along the wall and a larger booth in the corner. The bar walls have plants on either side of the shelves, which I love the look of. At the top of the liquor shelves is a pigs head. I can't decide if it's creepy or not--he is a little scary. We did not order food this time, but we have ordered the nachos before. They are gigantic--enough for us to share and not need dinner afterward. The cocktails are great, and the mixologists are very talented. Hubs ordered the mystery punch. He was daring and it paid off. It was delicious! We love sitting at the bar where we can see the bartenders doing their thing.

Yelp
Despite being a cool little spot, Pigtails can be deceiving with its waitlist, especially for our second visit. I added our name to the list and was advised that the wait was about 25 minutes. Upon observing others being seated, my husband inquired about our wait and was informed it would still be 40 minutes. He questioned the hostess and made it known that I was told about 25. She responded by denying that she would never have told us that. After waiting for about 40 minutes, we were eventually able to get a table. Overall in the end the drinks were tasty and the service was fast equaling a decent experience !

Yelp
Cute little spot! It's beautiful when you get past being confused by walking into the kitchen basically lol their menu is small but there are lots of great options to choose from. The staff was really nice and service was good. My friend and I were really bouncing from place to place trying out things so we only had one drink each here. The drink was good. I got the started from the bottom and I cannot remember what she got. Both were delicious though.

Yelp
if you're looking for a quiet but vibrant bar I recommend checking out this cute little speakeasy! I love taking friends here, with its secret entrance, phenomenal staff and delicious cocktails it's a must-visit! I always love trying new cocktails here, the Bone Apple Tea was a super fun apple rum drink I've never tasted the like of. I will say, the only downside is their limited food menu. I wouldn't dock stars for it since it's a busy bar and I get not wanting to slow things down by serving a full menu but, be prepared. I'd suggest eating before hand or planning on somewhere else for nosh. They do offer oysters for $3.50 which is nice along with a food special. Last visit was humus and naan which we passed on but we tried their bbq pork sliders a couple months back and they were fantastic!

Yelp
What appears to be a kitchen front is actually a great speakeasy cocktail bar in downtown Phoenix. Beautiful decor, clean, and great service. We went on a Saturday night for a quick drink before dinner reservations and we were easily able to get seated right away. We ordered the knotty by nature to munch on and it was a delicious pretzel appetizer. Comes with cheese sauce, marinara, mustard, and charred jalapeños. The pretzels were warm, soft, and really good flavor. Not too salty. Cocktails were good. Even though I only got 0% proof options, my friends and I enjoyed our drinks. I really like how the menu has them separated by categories to make the selection process easier for your taste.

Yelp
I love this place. We went with friends who've been there before, thankfully! Nondescript door, next to a Cuban restaurant with a small chalkboard with a pig drawn on it. Enter. You will be greeted by a guy washing dishes? He welcomes you and tells you to go on in. Once your eyes adjust to the low light, you will be amazed. Full living wall behind the bar and very nice bartenders. Tell the bartender what you like and they will make it for you. I told him I liked Manhattan's and not very sweet. He concocted an amazing cocktail with whiskey, several different kinds of bitters and I'm not sure what else. It was sooo good, I had two. My friend had a spicy margarita, not too sweet and she said it was amazing. Hubs and hers had craft beers and they really liked them. Pigtails has food. The oysters are so fresh and good (for a landlocked state) and the Fun-guy flat bread was fabulous. When you leave, the door has a sign that reads "employees only". I don't think you'll want to leave anyway. Cheers!!

Yelp
The whole experience took a long time to buy. It's very hidden. We were on our little scavenger hunt for the pigtail bar, cocktails and only you'll never find them anywhere anywhere else!!

Yelp
This place was tricky to find, classic speakeasy, but absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the drinks were super tasty. The music was so fun as well as the ambiance. It was dreamy, lots of seating, and the staff was so friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Denise M.

Yelp
First, the ambience here is pretty cool. I love all the live plants on the walls. The drinks are great, and you should go ahead and let the bartender surprise you! The nachos are humongous, and you can't go wrong for the reasonable price!
google avatar

Brenna D.

Yelp
Love this little hidden place! The decor is nice and it feels like an oasis in downtown. The drinks and service were phenomenal and the loaded spuds were awesome too! Fresh toppings and crispy fries! Just stop in!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great little cocktail bar that is tucked away and hard to find unless you've been there before. The street view looks like a one person prep area but you go through two doors and are immersed into a moody plant filled bar with sassy cocktails and fun presentations. The drinks are about the same price as most restaurants downtown so they aren't inexpensive but they are part of the experience. We tried several drinks: My Friends Call Me Peaches, Mystery Punch, femme Fatale, the O.G., and the Rum Around. Everyone liked their drinks and some had a Smokey surprise.

Yelp
We were attending a DOD conference in downtown Phoenix and were looking for a place to have drinks. We saw pigtails and thought it looked like a fun place. We went in to meet another group and immediately the bartender (male, blond ish brown hair) came up to us with a terrible attitude asking "How many more people are in your group? We have limits to how many people we can let in here" in an incredibly snobbish way. WTH? It was so incredibly rude. Sorry we came into a public bar to spend money?! Weirdest vibes ever. We left and went somewhere more military friendly. Won't patronize this place again. Steer clear if you are a big diverse group; they def don't care about your business.

Yelp
Beautiful bar! There's no sign outside- it is an unmarked door next to the Cuban bar. Once you enter, it feels like you are transported into an oasis. There was no wait on a Thursday night for 3 people. We had the option of sitting at the bar or a table- we chose table since we wanted to order some food. Food 4/5 Nachos- huge portion, delicious toppings Buffalo chicken quesadilla- tasted good, but prob wouldn't order again since it wasn't special Korean chicken wings- sweet and spicy, we liked it but hard to eat without getting your hands sticky Shrimp cocktail- bit pricey for each piece of shrimp but the shrimp were very large and fresh Drinks 5/5 It's hard for me to find a good cocktail bar these days, coming from SF. More often then not they are usually too sweet, too expensive, or very simple. Not the cocktails here! Bring on the creative infusions, smoke, and well- balanced drinks! Honestly we wished we could have tried more drinks. Candy shop- easy to drink hibiscus infused vodka, slightly sweet cocktail with a gummy bear on top Femme fatale- almost every table was getting this drink. Private label bourbon with a cool smoke show! Spirit forward but perfect balance Rum-eo and Juliet- spirit forward with a nice hazelnut blend Violet tendencies- really liked this one, tasted like a light dessert to end the night Overall the waitress was very attentive and friendly. She gave us great recs based on the types of drinks we each liked. It did take a bit longer to get our drinks but I noticed there was only one bartender for 30+ people! It didn't matter to us because we were eating our food. We would definitely come back here if we are back in Phoenix!

Yelp
Such an inviting atmosphere! A small bar which is suited for a small group evening out, although there was seating in the back that looked like it would accommodate a bit of a larger group. Mixed feelings about the PBJ shot, doesn't take like alcohol though! Service was fantastic and really enjoyed the time there.

Yelp
Amazing little speakeasy with delicious drinks and top-tier service. We came across Pigtails on Yelp and managed to find the entrance quickly. Even on a Friday afternoon at 5pm we got a table right away. Our server spent time giving us great drink recommendations and making us feel welcomed. We each had two different drinks and we really enjoyed all of them. Highly recommend and will be back!

Yelp
Amazing experience - super cool hidden bar with expert bartenders. Drop by, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Austin... was... amazing. A little bummed that the host buzzed our phone 5 minutes early because I was trying to order food at the place next door before last call which was about 5 minutes the host says... really was sad. We were so hungry :/ We left because we got called to pigtails only to find out that we couldn't order cause it was past 10:45. We did not have enough time to go back to the other place.
google avatar

Zach H.

Yelp
Always fun to take people to this place for the 1st time. I really like the décor in the place. Drinks and service were all good. Boulevard of broken dreams was quite tasty if you like whiskey. Espresso martini was also delicious. We will come back for sure.
google avatar

Brianna C.

Yelp
Great service and wonderful ambience. I went here for a date night and had a lovely time. The drink was a very nice size and the presentation of the Smokey drink was so cool.
google avatar

Yelp
Pigtails is a wonderful place to pop in after a game, concert, dinner, or whatever event brings you to the downtown area. I LIVE for the live wall which adds such a wonderful vibe to the bar, and watching the bartenders/mixologists create these wonderful drinks is entertainment in itself. They have multitudes of drink options all with very creative names. I have been here with a max of 5 total people, and due to limited seating, I would not suggest a party of any bigger size.
google avatar

Troy A.

Yelp
We stumbled on this as we seen it from inside of the Coabana. We wanted to continue our evening by trying a new place so we came over. First impressions usually are true. Cool way to enter as you come through the kitchen. Seems like a hidden bar almost. Upon entering it wasn't overly crowded and seemed chill. Bar wasn't full and a table was open. A couple ahead of us was turned away and told it would be a 30 minute wait. We were next and asked for seating for 2 or the bar would suffice...as there were multiple seats available. The hostess didn't seem interested or didn't turn her head to look around and also told us 30 minute wait...a bit confusing. We decided to use the bathroom before departing. Upon our exit from the bathroom we viewed even more available seats at the bar. The party of 3 that came in after us was sat at one the available tables as there were a few. The hostess seen us walking up "it's one way in and one way out" right passed the open seating at the bar and just remained quiet. Sooo we didn't wait around for her or the 30 minutes as they're plenty of places wanting business at the bar on a Friday night...maybe next time it looks cool...

Yelp
Lovely speakeasy bar in Downtown Phoenix! I've been here twice already in the last few months. It was always late at night so we missed the happy hour deals. However, I had the chance to taste a number of the drinks including: usual suspects, ol razzle dazzle, violet tendencies and started from the bottom. I like drinks to be fruity and sweet and the usual suspects and ol razzle dazzle definitely satisfied that. The service was incredible. One of my friends did not enjoy the drink they picked and they were able to make changes to it. Also, it's great for groups because there's plenty of space especially on weekdays.

Kymbre D.

Yelp
Sexy, discreet, perfect for a catch up with friends or a first date if you want to impress someone. The atmosphere is so eclectic and the staff and bartenders are so attentive, skilled, and lovely to socialize with. From the sneaky entrance, to the dark and low lit space, Pigtails really is a fun experience for the senses. It's really something to take in as it is a small space, but it's packed with personality and style. The crowd is usually a nice blend of locals and a few folks visiting from out of town who have heard about the space, and can't wait to check it out for themselves. I know because I run my mouth to anyone who will listen. I mean, this cool bar layout is made just for that - meeting new and interesting people.. They make all types of great drinks, the bartenders will listen to your sorrows, joys, your likes, dislikes, and will curate you a special something to temp your tastebuds. I try to pop in and pop out quickly every time I come here, and I end up staying for hours. Their dirty martinis are just about perfect, and it's actually quite fun to watch them take the time to make your drink the right way, shaken or stirred ;) . This is a perfect stop on your way through downtown to have a quick drink and try something different. Squeeze it in next time you're around.

Yelp
This was my first time at this bar and I definitely enjoyed it a lot! The great thing about downtown is that there are so many bars and all have very different vibes. This is a much more calm and far less crowded bar (at least on the Saturday night that I went). I had a couple of Sally in the Valleys, which is a very refreshing drink with a nice hint of Serrano pepper. Definitely recommend if you're into that kind of pallet!
google avatar

Brittany W.

Yelp
JT and Kendrick are amazing!!! Drinks are awesome. Great atmosphere. Love it!! Don't miss!
google avatar

Rob J.

Yelp
Booth seats were trashed, drinks are too expensive, would only take 1 credit card for a party of 4. We couldn't even split the bill. Where is the last place you've been that made you use 1 card? Get outta here! There are way too many good places downtown to waste time here. Snooooze!!!
google avatar

Tracy P.

Yelp
Super cute hidden speakeasy! Nice for small groups or even bigger groups. There is a large booth in the back area. Probably would fit 10 people comfortably. They have cool drinks decor! If you happen to order a drink that can be smoked... and they asked if you want it smoked.... definitely do it! Presentation is on point! We were there on a Wednesday night so we were able to get a table for 9. I heard they have long lines on the weekends so be sure to go early!
google avatar

Nikita F.

Yelp
Brenda is Awesome! Great energy & the vibes were excellent. Great service and awesome drinks.Love her! BIG Smile
google avatar

Jamie M.

Yelp
Excellent speakeasy hidden downtown Phoenix! They have a large cocktail menu, but I'd like to see some more gin options available. Definitely recommend getting Started From The Bottom as well as the Mystery Shot! As far as food goes, I recommend happy hour! They have great oysters. The bruschetta three ways was okay. The best part was the crispy bread. The artichoke flatbread was also just okay. It needs something salty... maybe bacon? Overall great speakeasy! Also the plant wall is super cool as well as the playlist.
google avatar

Ryen B.

Yelp
Deeply appreciate that more bars are offering low and no-alcohol drink options that don't taste like kid's juice box. Though not noted on the menu, pigtails has a few options and staff are happy to make something off menu if you ask. "I'll Be Your Cocoberry" was light, refreshing, not too sweet. Recommend and will be back again.
google avatar

Dennis F.

Yelp
What more can I say about this place outside that I just enjoy being here any day of the week and each time is a different experience you have to always try something new on the menu and the drinks are just phenomenal it's phenomenal I can say that I've tried at least the 1st 5 drinks on the happy hour menu and then the 1st 6 drinks on the regular menu each time that I come here. Came with a CO worker and we have the nachos the artichoke spinach dip and a civic which was excellent try and come down and try something new each and every time didn't want the wasters because we missed a happy hour but knew that they probably would be good

Yelp
This place satisfies all the senses and intrigue of a speak easy that I love! We ended up having to ask for directions on the street because it's a speak easy and not noticeably marked (duh!). It's located right next to Coabana (same owners). You walk past the oyster bar and that's when you see the neon "cocktails" sign. We went on a Friday night so there was a little bit of a wait. We were then sat at the bar which is so beautiful! You could smell the creation of these unique mixology ingredients which was instantly exciting. Our bartender was so awesome and knowledgeable. We took his suggestions and were so impressed with the complex flavors and how well balanced the cocktails were. I got the "Ice Cream Paint Job" and could have drank several more of them but was trying to "be good" (boring, I know). My friend got the drink with Mezcal, Apple, and Prosecco (can't remember the name) which was also delicious. I can't wait to come back with more friends!!! If you're in downtown Phoenix, this is a must-go to bar!
google avatar

Ava G.

Yelp
SO CUTE! This was my favorite downtown Phoenix speakeasy. It had the most hidden vibe, and was fun to find. Look for the door that says "cocktails" above it with a pink neon sign. I really enjoyed the ambiance inside here. The wall of the bar is covered in plants. They have a library style ladder that goes across the bar to reach those plants and bottles high up on the shelves. All of the drinks on the menu looked good, lots of fun drinks that I want to come back and try. The music was super fun, and I had a great time. I will most definitely be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Bidi bidi bom bom and key lime high cocktail! Tasty and unique drinks for my 1 year anniversary with the mans!

Yelp
Service was good and drinks were better. This place has a great vibe and if you walk too fast around the corner could miss it! That made it a fun find.
google avatar

Yael G.

Yelp
Really nice ambience, amazing drinks made to order, and the charcuterie was great. Loved how it was quiet on a Monday night.
google avatar

Mandy T.

Yelp
We came here Saturday night before dinner and it was pretty busy. The bar seats were full so we sat at a table. Ben ordered Autumn in AZ and he loved it. After saying I don't like sweet drinks, our server recommended Unusual Occurrences. It was really good but way too sweet. She then suggested Delicate like a Bomb. It tasted like warm rubbing alcohol. I was going to try something else but she never came back. I had to find her to grab the check after 20mins. She definitely acted annoyed when I didn't like the drinks. It was just the polar opposite experience as we had at Garden Bar. At Garden Bar they helped me figure out what drinks I would actually love and I will now be a lifetime customer there and spread the word. I wish we had sat at the bar, maybe we would have had a more positive experience with the bartender.
google avatar

Candice M.

Yelp
Everything about this place was an immediate win! The location was great! Drinks were delicious! The customer service by the barstaff was amazing The ambiance... it's plants... like, duh, I love it! Lastly, they also had drink specials... Like Arnold schwarzenegger said," I'll be back!"
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
We went for happy hour, the drink on the left was pretty strong in my opinion but drinkable. The drink on the right was very tasty and sweet. This is a super chill place to drink casually & to have a nice conversation. It is not a big area so seats are limited. The host was very amazing ! He was always checking up on us and making sure we had something to drink at all times. I wanted to try an oyster for the first time & it was pretty delicious.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
What a beautiful secret spot. I say this because the bar is intimate and lush with greenery. Also, not what you expect from the outside. The exterior door doesn't look like much. Inside you will find both classic and creative cocktails. We stopped in for just one drink and left having two. The bartenders are friendly and willing to please their customers. Be prepared to share what kind of drink or flavor you're in the mood for and prepare to be impressed. I had a tiki-esque drink with coconut milk and several others liquors. They have happy hour too. Don't take a large crowd here because it's pretty small.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not much of a drinker but when I am, I go for cocktails; might as well enjoy the alcohol, right? I've been to one other cocktail bar in Phoenix (yes, the one you're thinking of) but I wanted to try somewhere new, especially because there are so many new cocktail bars! We originally wanted to go to Pigtails for New Year's but decided against the New Year's crowd. We went on a Monday evening (MLK Day) around 9PM and were able to walk in and get seated in a booth. We were lucky there was no crowd as Pigtails does not do reservations. We loved the interior and the live plant wall. It is a bit dimmer inside and for the most aesthetic pictures you will have to use flash. Yes, the drinks are pricier, but that's to be expected with any cocktail bar. We enjoyed the cute names of the different drinks and the decently sized menu. All of the drinks are served in regular cocktail glasses as in not cute-or-aesthetic cups (ie no tiki cups, pineapples, etc) so the aestheticness will really come down to the drink or the ones that are on fire or smoked. Our bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. Between the five of us we basically tried every drink on the menu, cause that's the way to do it! Favorites: -Ghosted: If you're looking for an aesthetic, cool drink to post on social media this is the one. It's a tropical, sweet (but not too sweet) drink that is lit on fire. Yes, you read that correctly. The orange slice presented in the drink is lit on fire and makes for a pleasing Instagram story. -Omg it's my birthdayyyyy (shot): Also an aesthetic drink (technically a shot) for your socials; it is lit on fire. Taste wise, it's strong because it's 151. -Eye of the Thai-ger: Alcoholic Thai Tea. Yes. -Tinkerbell: The little clothespin holding the lemon cut out to look like Tinkerbell's dress is adorable. Not to mention the foam with a green swirl and if you turn on your camera flashlight you'll notice GLITTER! Beware: it will make your lips glittery. -Livin' the Dreamsicle: This was probably my favorite just because of how easy it was to drink! Tasted like a delicious orange dreamsicle; what more can you ask for? We enjoyed our evening at Pigtails and will definitely be back!

Yelp
I would love to hide in the corner booth towards rhe end of the bar and work there with some of these cocktails. It's about work-life balance, right? Pigtails does a great job of maintaining the speakeasy vibe. The interior decor - with self watering plants, might i add - was nice and even had ornaments strung in a festive spirit. Drink-wise, Delicate like a bomb and Unusual Occurrences are my recommendations. Bartenders were great.
google avatar

Deedee W.

Yelp
Came here as a ssuprise for my birthday and how fun it is! It is one of the "secret" bars in the city so you walk through a sushi kitchen into this tropical paradise. We had great service and the ambience/setting is so fun! The cocktails were incredible as well. When looking for a craft cocktail and fun time head over to Washington and Central to the door that has "Cocktails" over the top and enter for a fun time!
google avatar

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Such a great spot to have some of the most unique cocktails! The outside is currently under construction so it is not as aesthetically pleasing and very hard to miss but I can imagine that adds to the hidden aspect. It is a small place with less than 10 tables but definitely worth it. We ordered quite a few different drinks: the Prickly Pear Collins, Banana! at the Disco, Fresa than a Muh Fucka, Hail Rosemary, and Ocean Avenue. All were very tasty and were all Instagram-worthy. For food, we ordered the Meat Lover's Flatbread, Shrimp and the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. All were really good to just have at the table to pick at while we were there. The shrimp is sold by the piece but they are a decent size and is a great finger food. The service was great, they serviced us when we needed it but also didn't come around every 2 minutes giving us time in between to eat and chat at our pace. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I was looking for a bar downtown that was walkable distance from my hotel. I wanted cute cocktails and a date night vibe. Saw this spot on yelp and decided to go after dinner. I didn't realize this was a speak easy. I walked right past it and walked in a square trying to find this spot. Then I go on yelp and read everyone's reviews. They do not take rsvps so the wait for 2 was 30 minutes. If you're looking for cute girly drinks especially with smoke coming out or even a classic old fashion this spot is cool! They also serve food. It all seemed like snacks but the portions are huge! The only thing we ordered was the vanilla bean crepe brûlée and that was good.

Yelp
I was at a conference in Phoenix and my friend mentioned a speakeasy so of course I had to check this place out. I would have never known this place was there unless somebody mentioned it to me. They have this so well hidden. You walk by a door that looks very unassuming with no labeling. It looks like a small kitchen and then you walk in and the magic happens. The place is beautiful inside it was a hot day out and it felt good. It's dimly lit inside and they had some great music playing, fabulous bartenders, excellent service we had the charcuterie board it it was yummy. This is one of the better speakeasies that I've been to and definitely is something worth checking out while you're in Phoenix. I would make a return trip here for the ambience, drinks and service

Yelp
I love this cool speakeasy in downtown Phx. You enter through a small kitchen space that just has the word "cocktails" in neon above the door. Inside is a fun vibrate but laid-back atmosphere. The first thing you will notice is a long bar with green plant wall behind it. The plants are real and there is a pig's head at the top of the wall that stares down at you. The booths are leather and cozy. This is the second Pigtails location and the brainchild of the guys behind The Whining Pig. The menu consists of a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine. You have four categories for cocktails: Light & Citrusy, Cool & Nerdy, Refreshing & Fun, and Bold & Boozy. We ordered the The Crawford Cartel "Smoked" for the fun smoke effect to post on our IG story page. They also have oysters, a shrimp cocktail, punch bowls, boilermakers, and some appetizers on their menu. The staff is super friendly and were helpful when we were figuring out what to drink. Pigtails is a great concept and makes for a fun relaxing evening out.

Yelp
Good foods and unique drinks! All our drinks and food were good, cold brew shots were strong. Nachos were a large portion. Service was okay/good. Bathroom could have been cleaner for a not busy night.

Yelp
This is a super cool little spot downtown. Maybe not the place you want to hang out all night, but a "couple of cocktails then go check out some other places, then come back for last call" kinda place. The drinks are very nicely done. It's a downloadable menu and it's fairly busy list of imbibement (it's a word, Autocheck!). I'd recommend checking it out before you go so you can change your mind at the last minute. The Whistle Pig OF w/smoke was worth the price of admission, for the spectacle alone. Creative cocktails, well made. Also, we're grateful to the young lady who burst out of the door on Central and said "you gotta check out this bar!". Made it easier to find.
