Google
We stopped by for its happy hour where one can find $5 drafts and $5 burgers. Naturally I tried both and added an order of garlic fries (unfortunately, it didn’t have ranch dressing). The blond ale was excellent and the food was pretty good. The mango soft serve was good and big. The service was great and there were both indoor and outdoor seating areas. We walked to this place, but there was a sign that said they have validation that gives a discount for 2-hour parking.

Google
Every bite is INCREDIBLE! Our favorite is the mouthwatering Pork Belly Bao Bun; we dream about that dish and keep coming back for it over and over. Their burgers and salads are fantastic as well, but, oh, those fluffy, flavor-filled bao buns! And the Happy Hour prices (only $5 for either 2 bao buns or 1 burger!) and hours (2-6PM!) are phenomenal! Always seated immediately. Consistently strong service. Wildly talented chefs. It’s become a regular, recurring date for us! (We keep increasing our number of bao bun orders every time - haha! They are SOOOOO good!!!)

Diana

Google
Dropped by during happy hour from 2-4pm and glad I did! Servers were really nice and food was delicious. I thought the $5 baos was just 1pc but it’s actually 2pc and the burger was filling and appears to be the full size. Happy Hour includes a few types of draft beers, baos and burgers. Most people ordered a beer and burger. Amazing deal for Hawaii. Easily feed yourself for $10!

Google
Do not miss this happy hour 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Insanely good garlic lemon french fries (not on the HH) complimented their $5 HH burger and $5 HH pork belly bao like nothing else. The burger has kimchi and cheese, which I wouldn't have chosen on a dare, but after being told it was SO good by a friend (and $5) I tried it, and it was definitely tasty. Sounds strange but really a winner. The pork belly bau (TWO FOR $5) was so good. Fat hunk of pork belly with sauce and a soft wrap, totally delicious. The same thing is $14 for dinner, and worth every penny. Literally the best value (so far) on my trip to Waikiki and we're eating in a lot of places. Oh yeah, $5 HH beers too. My suggestion would be to come here at 2:00 or 2:30, so that you don't spoil your dinner and miss a meal ;)

Google
We came here for breakfast and had a good time. The space is beautiful and the waitstaff are pleasant. I had the iced matcha and it was delicious! The puffed rice “cereal” milk made it a little special. I had the potato and egg hash and it was very delicious! The potatoes were shredded, though a little burnt. But the flavors were great - the marinated tomato and fresh avocado was a nice touch.

Jane L.

Google
Food and service were excellent. I got the garlic soba noodles, fried mushrooms, and shandy with pog juice, and everything was delish and shockingly very affordable for the area. The bartender Chad is a pro and very nice to chat with. Highly recommend giving Piko a visit!

Justin H.

Google
This became our favourite lunch spot on our trip. The happy hour menu offered $5 burger, bao buns and beer. All the $5 food was flavourful and filling. The garlic fries were tasty and all the staff are very friendly. They also had a nice turkey dinner for thanksgiving for a reasonable price!

Rachel

Google
Great service, food was a bit salty. Highly recommend the fried mushrooms, pork baos, and walnut shrimp.

Yelp
My fav barista working!!!! woo woo! Today's menu item I sampled: Chicken Long Rice Gyoza. Should have asked for a bit more ginger in my broth but that is my personal preference so can't ding the place on that! I will scold the third gyoza for DARING to fall apart on me as I'm trying to take a bite! I'm disappointed in gyoza!!! I'm supposed to end yer lil morsel life!!!! How ruuuude!!! Your guts did taste splendid in the broth however. So I guess I can forgive you. Round 2: Crispy Potato Poke Home fries on steroids. Nuff Said. Just think of all they use in a dynamite poke dish and there ya go, with the sweet creaminess of the avocado - and it sure isn't yer traditional haas avocado...... me thinks they used those giant melon ball sized avocados - don't know the formal name but I call them the butter cream avocados- and I loooooove that they are using those well over the haas (let's be real folks - haas avocados are really overrated!) Now if yer testing my palate of kiiiind of potato they use - well I do believe it yer traditional versatile Idaho version. But that would truly be an educated guess. Happy taste buds is all I can say! And now to be healthy - final course da Salad!!!! Gotta have those green

Yelp
Came for happy hour around 5pm ordered the Kalbi burger and garlic noodles with egg. The kalbi burger was only $5 and we each got one thinking they'd be small but they were actually bigger than a McDonald's cheeseburger. The patty was cooked medium and the addition of kimchi on the burger as it added this acidity and tang to the overall flavor profile. The garlic noodles with egg were not on the HH menu but totally worth it for $12. The soft boiled egg gave the noodles this rich creaminess and I enjoyed the texture of the noodles. The dish had some heat to it and I liked how spicy it was, it was at an enjoyable spice level. My husband got a yuzu cocktail and said it was really tart and yummy as well!

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED this place. The food was a fusion of American, Hawaiian, and Japanese which made for quite an enjoyable meal. We tried a number of the items as they are all small plates. We enjoyed each and every thing we tried. We didn't even take time to take food pics as it looked so good and wanted to get to eating right away. The service was phenomenal and we truly felt well taken care of. We sat outside and enjoyed it but they all have a cute indoors section as well. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a more affordable meal that doesn't lack on any of the above!

Yelp
Looking for an amazing place to chill, has bar bites, and validated parking? Piko can be your place. They have two amazing and delicious bites that I crave for: Pork bao- fatty, oily, applewood, braise pork 5/5 Kalbi burger - juicy and would have been better without the Kim Chee. 4/5 Service is good, on point, and with smiles. Seating is available inside and outside. Take your pick.

Yelp
$5 burger and bao are so worth it!!!! I hope they never stop it. Our go-to when in Waikiki always. Servers are wonderful. You can people watch on Kuhio. The sampler was not that great and forgot that since last year. Putting this here so we remember each year we visit.

Yelp
As I searched for dinner options on my first night in Honolulu, I walked past Piko Kithchen & Bar and was immediately intrigued. The large, open-air space on Kuhio Ave., beneath Waikiki Market, is stylish, comfortable, and inviting, especially for someone dining solo. As I sat down at the bar, I was immediately greeted by a friendly bartender/server. I chose a great spot for my first Hawaiian meal! My first order of business was to order a world-famous Blue Hawaiian, which was delicious, (albeit looking more like a Green Hawaiian than a blue one!). For dinner, I decided to sample three of their signature dishes. Their PuPu Sampler is a menu option featuring three 'tapas' from their menu: Kalua Pork Spring Roll, Chicken Long Rice Gyoza, and Hawaiian Beef Jerky. All I can say is wow! These dishes are packed with such amazing flavor, I'm sure that any of the three would make for a great dinner choice all on their own. While there are so many dining options yet to explore here on Oahu, I'm definitely going to return to Piko before I go home! Nice spot, great, quality food!

Yelp
Ambiance Restaurant Piko has a fun, casual atmosphere with a half-indoor, half-outdoor setup that provides shade while keeping an open-air feel. The space feels upscale yet remains surprisingly affordable for Waikīkī. Service was fine but they seemed pretty understaffed. Food Garlic Fries ($8) Fluffy and well-fried, these North Shore-style garlic fries were rich and satisfying. The garlic topping was generous and flavorful and crunchy, though the butter richness might be best enjoyed in portions--ideal to save some for leftovers. $5 Burger (Happy Hour ends at 6pm) A solid burger with a noticeable kimchi slaw flavor that was well-balanced and not overpowering. While the patty seemed uniform enough to suggest it was likely premade or frozen, it still tasted good and was excellent value at $5. The pickles were good Asian style pickles. The slaw stayed crisp without dripping or soaking the bun.

Yelp
We just walking nearby the International Market Place, and saw the $5 sign, so we walked in. The $5 Kalbi Burger was great as it had kimchi in it. The $5 Bao Buns were delicious too. The pork belly in it was cooked perfectly. Our server Myckaela was very friendly and welcoming! I hope their management sees this and recognizes her. I also noticed their entire staff smiled at every customer, and they all worked well together. While seating outside, you get a good view for people watching. The food and service were so great we came back again a few days later! I highly recommend.

Yelp
We tried out Piko for their happy hour and it was delicious! They have $5 burgers, baos and beers! Service was fast and it wasn't super crowded at the start of the happy hour. Food was delicious and the cocktails were really good too! They also have some specials, like mango soft serve and it was really good and refreshing too! They have some specialty cocktails too, so definitely try it out. Happy hour starts at 2-6pm and live music starts at 6pm! Will come back for their dinner menu!

Yelp
I love this restaurant. I've eaten here many times. It is a great place if you just want a snack in the afternoon. The breakfasts are fantastic. They have a creative local spin on traditional food. In the afternoon I love the hamburger special with Wagyu beef. It's juicy and tasty. They have other food specials. It's a fun place for dinner as they have live music. I always sit outside but they also have seating indoors. They have a full bar and the staff are always attentive. You can't go wrong eating here.

Yelp
- Best happy hour in Waikiki - Best for value and overall quality, their happy hour runs from 2-6pm. Burgers, Bao bun and beer are all $5 each! The burger isn't small either and is full of flavor. The beers are always from the tap and never flat. Service is always great and they also have live music to elevate the vibe. Check it out, your wallet will thank you!

Yelp
We've been checking out happy hours around town and Piko's caught our attention because of their $5 Burgers and Baos. The burger is a kalbi flavored burger with kim chee slaw, sauce and Japanese pickles. It's about one of the best $5 burgers I've had. It's a generous size and flavored well, very tasty. The $5 bao is good but different since the meat is bacon. It's also complemented with cilantro and hoisin sauce. In addition to these two main attractions, we had the pupu sampler; Chicken long rice gyoza, kalua pork spring rolls, and Hawaiian beef jerky. We also ordered the fried maitake mushrooms, watercress namul, crispy potato poke, and garlic chicken wings. My favorites were the gyoza, spring rolls, watercress, and chicken wings. The other items were okay but I wouldn't order them again. Service was very good and the outdoor dining area was breezy and comfortable. There was also live entertainment and they are pet friendly, which was nice. I would definitely come back to this happy hour for the $5 burgers, baos, and live entertainment!

Yelp
Fact: Everything in Waikiki is expensive... but Piko Kitchen + Bar said, "Hold my beer, we got $5 specials during Happy Hour." Located on Kūhiō Street with breezy open-air vibes, this spot drops a serious cheat code every Monday through Friday from 2pm to 6pm. And get this: three Happy Hour heavy hitters, all just $5 each. Not "Waikiki $5" where you get two fries and a wink... actual, satisfying, flavor-packed eats. You've got options: A Kalbi cheeseburger that's not baby-sized--it's thick, juicy, and comes stacked with kim chee lettuce on a warm bun Pork belly bao buns served in pairs, each hugging a slab of flavorful meat between pillowy-soft buns And beer, full pours, with an actual list to choose from. Yes, choices. Too good to be true? I thought so too. But this isn't a tourist trap, it's a hidden gem with real portions and real flavor, all without breaking the bank. If you're ballin' on a vacation budget, Piko's Happy Hour is the move.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by here for dinner on a whim and was seated right away for a Saturday night around 7pm. It is like small plates so you can order multiple plates to share with friends and family. My husband and I ordered the North Shore garlic fries, Pupu Steak, Calamari and Bao Buns. We both ordered drink as well which were good. Our ratings: North Shore Garlic Fries - 7/10 (lots of oil at the bottom of bowl) Pupu Steak (8/10) - cooked to a good medium Calamari - (8.5/10) - crispy and big pieces of calamari Bao Buns (8/10) - good portion of pork They had a live person singing which was a nice ambiance, there is also seating inside.

Yelp
It means belly button in Hawaiian so it's located right in the center of all the stores. We went for happy hour where they have the feature of $5 baos, burgers, and beer. Their baos were our favorite! 2 big pork belly hoisin sauce baos with the super soft fluffy buns! The kalbi burger came with Korean kimchi and pickles which was a fun touch. The burger was a good size too for $5, bigger than a slider but not as big as a regular burger. The draft beers are all local beers so take your pick from light to dark! Happy hour is from 2-6pm so check it out! I also got the yuzu collins which is a refreshing yuzu citrus and gin drink - loved it but the alcohol sneaks up on you! We also got the kid/keiki menu fried rice - they have a good amount of kid options and I wish he had tried the Michiko chicken which sounded delish! We also tried the mango soft serve because my kid wanted it and it was quite large - we couldn't even finish it with the 3 of us so worth $6 if you're looking for dessert! I have to say it wasn't my fav mango ice cream ever but I really liked the crispy bits on top as well as fresh mango pieces. It looked super pretty! The staff was wonderful and this is part of my must try eats in Waikiki Youtube video!

Yelp
Piko Kitchen + Bar is part of the Foodland family. Opened last year, Piko showcases a mix of local flavors to Waikiki. Situated on the ground floor of the former Food Pantry Waikiki, Piko is joined by Waikiki Market, the only supermarket in Waikiki and Olili, an upscale local eatery that will be opening in the summer. Helmed by Chef de Cuisine Adam Kamahele, previously of Gordon Biersch and Flour & Barley, Piko's concept of dishes reflects the multi ethnic makeup of Hawaii. On the food menu, guests can indulge in shareable dishes such as Garlic noodles, or even small bites as their bao bun bites.

Yelp
Tip #1 : Parking in the Lilia Waikiki was a hard pass for us. Would not recommend.. Limited space, elevators don't work, we don't live in the building so to access the structure was hard without a key.. We had to walk up the garage ramp just to get back to our car on the 2nd floor.. They do validate parking 2hrs for $4 - leaving the structure the machine wasn't working either so we had to call the attendant which questions us on why we can't go out.. First of all sir.. We ate at the restaurant, your elevators aren't working, the doors are all key access only and your machine to leave is not working either. We had a reservation for 6:30PM but thankfully got seated earlier by the host. OUTSIDE Seating only - lots of foot traffic and bus sounds since it's on the main road of Kuhio. There was indoor seating but the vent is not working so they only sat people outside. BUSY for Happy hour so definitely get there earlier. The service was great! Our server was fast & friendly. Drinks and food tasted amazing and worth its price. Highly recommend getting the mango ice cream, we most definitely will be back for that. Live music on a Friday Night was great! Kamaaina don't forget to show your ID for 10% discount.

Yelp
Everything was delicious, especially the fried mushrooms, YUM !! The service was good and friendly. We were there on a Wednesday evening and they had live music, outside !! I was so Hungry and it was so good, I forgot to take photos !!

Yelp
Airy and modern, this welcoming restaurant beckons with incredible happy hour deals. My husband went for the $5 Piko burger a couple of times and enjoyed the juicy patty and island inspired fixings. There are not too many options (if any) for pescatarian or vegetarian dishes with the happy hour discount, but the regular menu offers some winners. I loved the noodles with egg. Our waitress Cindy was very friendly and had great recommendations on the food and drinks. Sit at the bar facing out to Kuhio for some of the most entertaining people watching in Waikiki!
google avatar

Terrysue T.

Yelp
Came here to try their Strawberry Guava Pancakes. It was huge, and tasted so good! The pancakes were nice and fluffy! The sauce wasn't too sweet. I loved the strawberry shortbread crumble on top! Service was good too! Very nice people! Loved that the restaurant was open-aired. It was nice eating breakfast, enjoying the Hawaiian atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
what a Waikīkī gem! In a city of tourist traps and over priced food, this spot definitely stands out for its extremely affordable happy hour prices! My burger was only $5 and was a standard hefty portion that definitely left me filled. They also have other stuff on their happy hour menu too. Service was super nice as well and the restaurant is clean and beautiful. Give this place a try!
google avatar

Yelp
Piko Kitchen and Bar in Waikiki was such a good find. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual perfect for Hawaii. The service friendly and fast. The food came out hot and quick, and everything tasted fresh and well-done. You can tell they care about what they serve. No complaints. I'd definitely go back.
google avatar

Carrie G.

Yelp
The best happy hour burger and price in all the land... well at least for Waikīkī! A $5 full sized freshly chargrilled burger?! Say what and when (are we going back?!). Our friend, a self proclaimed burger connoisseur raves about it so we went on a Sunday afternoon and I had high expectations and they were surpassed! You get a thick patty of grilled meat (cooked done to order, my medium rare was actually cooked correctly). It has a slice of American cheese and a kimchee slaw on a fluffy brioche bun with Jo made pickled cucumbers. Flavors all work very well and the meat is tender. We also got the $5 pork belly bao and it comes 2 piece to one order and that was filling, HOT and also very tender. I'd definitely order it again (and again). Their HH drinks are $10 for a cocktail, $9 wine and $5 beers. The downsides- They don't have a large drink menu. The ambiance is loud (it's open air on kuhio near a bus stop) There's flies and birds bc you're outdoors but the restaurant is clean. Service was great!
google avatar

AJ L.

Yelp
They have a $5 happy hour from 2-6pm daily with $5 burgers and beers and 2 bao buns. Although the food is not amazing it's still only $5 about the cheapest thing besides a spam musubi you can get in Waikiki. The burger was cooked perfectly and the kimchi slaw was a good spin on it. I didn't really like the baos even though the bun was good the sauce was too strong and pork belly bacon was thick. Good size glass of beer for $5
google avatar

Nat W.

Yelp
This place looked cute on pics and the food looked promising. The service was great and the price is reasonable for Waikiki, however the food was just okay. I wanted to try their garlic noodle but they did not have on the menu when I visited. So I had their fried rice....very bland. Even their signiture mango soft serve was so so. Pork bun is the best thing they have. I am not sure where all these 5 stars are coming from, but let's just hope I came in on their off day.
google avatar

Mia S.

Yelp
Food 3/5 My order was somewhat customized based on what was on the menu and what I desired, but not a specific dish. I enjoyed it. However, the noodles were a little greasy for my liking. Service 5/5 The server was great. He made recommendations, was willing to accommodate the request of my order and double check with the kitchen. I dined at the bar. Ambiance 3/5 Basic. Easily accessible from the street. Table and bar seating available. Casual atmosphere.
google avatar

Erin A.

Yelp
Waikiki had stifling weather after a hurricane miss, this happy hour improved my mood tremendously. Both the kalbi burger & bao were truly outstanding, even more so factoring in the value of the $5 price of each (I went back a few times). None of the drink specials really wowed me, but the margarita was my favorite one; I'd probably skip the cocktails next trip & get more of the scrumptious food.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Because this is in Waikiki and we are not tourists I was unsure of how the quality would be, but this is legit. We loved everything we got. Spice levels were perfect. Unique tastes and flavors. We are vegetarian and worried there wouldn't be enough options but we shared the potato poke, noodles, fried rice, green beans, salad and mango soft serve for dessert. Everything was spot on. I also found the price and serving size very reasonable. Will definitely return! Inside is a little cold so we requested to moved outside and they were very nice about it. Service was quick and attentive, no complaints.

Leeza D.

Yelp
We came here for happy hour before catching sunset and it was so fun. We sat outside and saw Waikiki life past by. We ordered a pupu platter consisting of chicken long rice gyoza, Hawaiian beef jerky, and Kalua pig eggroll. We also took advantage of the $5.00 galbi burger and bacon bao. My girls ordered a hochicha old fashion. Wonderful experience and nice treat before a beach walk. Casual. Great service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Yelp
Great food and bevy's! Good prices especially for Waikiki! Quality of food is worth the trip into Waikiki for locals, happy hour is solid! The bartenders are really friendly and make good recommendations- Chad is the best! Try the Hōjicha Old Fashion and Potato Poke! I really hope the main restaurant reopens!

Yelp
Ambiance: pretty, good for hang out or date night. There was a live singer too and he sang so well and played the guitar. I believe his name was Dave or David. Kudos! Service: awesome, friendly staff Food: we ordered the chicken satay and shrimp and both had good flavors. As for the drinks they were super sweet and you wouldn't think it had alcohol in it. I would skip out on the flavored alcoholic drinks next time. Tip: they change their menus so often, initially we were looking for a Filipino restaurant and saw they served Filipino cuisine from their Yelp reviews but on our visit there wasn't any Filipino dishes and they informed us they changed their menu.

Yelp
My bartender, Jazz?!, was such a bundle of joy! Sharing a great aloha spirit and very knowledgeable of her menu! I definitely enjoyed, the time with her, and the amazing Happy hour they have! From discounted drinks to the $5 bao buns or $5 kalbi burger, it's a great time for sure! The ambiance is very open air, underneath the market in waikiki. The menu share's a local flaire of a wide range of cuisines! Oh, to top it off, Jazz recommended the garlic fries!!! And, though it sounds like a "big back" move, if you dip the burger or bao in that garlic goodness.... You may just die a little, it's sooo goood. Soo good? For sure it can't be good for you, PLS EAT WITH CAUTION! Overall, a great spot to go after a long walk on the strip of Waikiki or a swim! Coming back for sure!

Yelp
The drinks here were spectacular the bartender was on point. The bar/restaurant is downstairs outdoors, but covered and has live music and just really a great vibe I ordered the mixed plate Margarita, actually had three of them. They were excellent they were the perfect mixture of savory, and spicy. I think the chili pepper water really really gave the drink the perfect kick so much so we purchased some chili pepper water to bring home. The North shore garlic fries were fried perfectly they weren't too hard. They weren't too soft. Had the slightest bit of salt and the garlic!......with the butter sautéed and put on top of the fries was perfection. It was the right amount of garlic with the salt and I just used the fries to scoop up the garlic and just eat it. It was scrumptious.

Kelly M.

Yelp
Piko was our go to spot while here on vacation. The Happy Hour here is unbeatable! With Waikiki being so expensive we were really thankful to have found such an affordable spot. The food is excellent, very flavorful and they have some unique flavors and dishes here. We really enjoyed the soba noodles and bao buns. There is indoor and outdoor seating- we sat outside to enjoy the views and the weather. We were lucky to have had Danielle on 3 of the 5 days we dined here. She walked us through the menu, gave great recommendations and also gave us tips on places to go and things to do outside of Waikiki- we really appreciated the help. We did make it out of Waikiki thanks to her showing us how to use the bus system! Sadly our trip is over for now, but we will be back on our next visit!

Yelp
Stopped here after a music gig at a nearby hotel. The Okinawan Soba Noodles is what lured me, and it did not disappoint! The flavor combination was original and delightful. Lots of garlic, which is a big win with me! Loved how it also had a spicy kick to it. Definitely coming back just for this! Also had their Bao Buns and Kalbi Burger, which were only $5 each on today's Happy Hour menu. Score on the price! Flavors were nice, but not as interesting or novel as the noodles. Quality of food and presentation were top notch in all the dishes. The Kuawa Kooler drink had a nice bittersweet flavor, but definitely could have used more vodka. I sat at the bar, and the waitress was attentive and friendly. As I've mentioned before, this is not common practice today. One's meal at a restaurant is always more enjoyable when the service is done well. The open air ambience in Waikīkī created a relaxing vibe on a summer afternoon.

Yelp
I had a fabulous breakfast today at Piko Kitchen in Waikiki. I sat at the open air bar surrounded by upscale local decor. I received aloha smiles from the staff and was seated quickly. The menu offers local Hawaiian style breakfasts and features locally produced ingredients. The bartender recommend the "3-Egg Mahi-ia Omelet" with local eggs and mushrooms. I was all in. The plate came out quickly and the portion was large, easily sharable. The Boursin cheese was so creamy and the mushrooms and spinach were delicious. A generous side of hash browns was included. The bartender was attentive and my glass was kept full with lots of ice. They advertise a tempting happy hour - maybe an other day. The busses and street traffic are loud, really loud. There is an indoor air conditions dining room with a public bathroom.

Yelp
Great place for happy hour! This restaurant is located on the first floor of Lilia on Kuhio Ave. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the store overlooks the sidewalk, so you'll see a lot of foot traffic especially as there's a bus stop out front. I think there's live music at certain times of the weekend as well, which is nice. We were promptly seated and service was attentive throughout. Their $5 happy hour is a steal in Waikiki and runs from 2-6pm. We got the bao, burger, and some drinks (I got the Pilsner from Beer Lab Hawaii, $5). The orders came out promptly and the burger was a pretty good deal for the size and flavor, juicy and umami. The baos were tasty as well, I got 2 pieces and the crispy, sweet pork belly paired well with the soft baos. Would definitely come back to hit their happy hour again!

Yelp
We came here for an early dinner as a family of 4 and had a wonderful time. I recommend making a reservation because they have a very small seating area. They serve small plates. We ordered the bao buns, steak, calamari, dynamite rice, kimchee burger and for dessert we got the apple tart. Everything was AMAZING. Our youngest got the kids burger and he cleaned his plate. My husband ordered the old fashioned and it was special: Japanese whiskey and a special bitters. Our server was very nice, attentive and helpful. She recommended the Apple tart and it was a winner.

Yelp
Pika is nestled a block in from the beach in Waikīkī, and is an open air bar setting that features live music, smaller plates, and a great happy hour! The outdoor setting was inviting, my waitstaff was attentive and fun, and the love music was lovely. For being a block from the beach, prices were extremely fair!! I got a delicious beer cocktail, the Surfer Shandy, that was refreshing and tasty. The greens in my salad were fresh and dressed well, and my sticky pork was crispy and flavorful! I saw they have a $5 beer/bao/burger happy hour, and next time I'm in Honolulu, I won't miss it!!

Yelp
This is such a good place for happy hour! I'm so impressed with their $5 Kalbi burger! I'm a simple cheeseburger person so I was worried about the Kimchi slaw but it was so mild and still had tons of spices. The patty was well-seasoned and cooked to my liking. Fries were not included in the HH. So it was more than the burger haha. I love my Yuzu Collins -floral and refreshing. I like it so much I had two. Our bartender was nice but she was more personal to us towards the end.

Yelp
Stopped by for happy hour around 2 PM. They only had two food options on the menu: the Kalbi burger and pork belly bao buns, both without sides. It wasn't that busy for a Monday, but the food still took over 20 minutes to come out. They seemed understaffed--hardly any water refills, and service overall was pretty unorganized. There appeared to be 3 servers but apparently one server couldn't help out the other one who was busy. Like what type of teamwork is that ? Servers don't really care about their job or providing good service here. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. As for the food, it's actually pretty good for the price. The Kalbi burger was juicy, with a nice thick patty, but the kimchi slaw felt Americanized which makes sense to cater towards the crowd. The bao bun was solid, with a really tender and juicy slice of pork belly. Food was Nothing crazy good. 3.5/5 If you come, I'd suggest ordering two burgers right away so you're not waiting forever. Food is worth it for the price, but the service was Meh. Our server was sweet but the service sucked. Maybe he just started? Dont understand why the other worker wouldn't help him out. Seems like all the tables around us had the same issue. Just sitting there. Waiting for service. Don't come here if you want quick service

Yelp
Service was great 5/5 Food was also great... minus the gyoza, it was very mushy all one note & I couldn't even swallow it. Love the tapas style & that you can order these small portion & really enjoy a variety of the menu. Definitely would say this is a one & done for me but that might be different for you.

Yelp
Drove down Kūhiō Ave and the sidewalk sign: "BEER, BAO, & BURGERS $5 EACH" caught our eye. We had the option of sitting at the outside bar, outside table or inside. It was warm out so hubby and I opted to sit inside and the cool a/c was perfect. We stopped by during the happy hour time to enjoy drinks and the food caught our eye. Pork belly in the bao was cooked perfectly in my opinion. It was thick, flavorful, and juicy! The Kalbi burger seemed so simple but well executed. The Kimchee slaw in the burger was the cherry on top! We were also grateful to have received the North Shore Garlic Fries at no charge and we enjoyed that too! The staff were all very pleasant and anyone who walked by checked in on us. We really had a happy hour at Piko Kitchen+Bar!! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We found this place after shopping upstairs and saw the Happy Hour sign. Best food deals. $5 for 2 pork belly bao buns, $5 for the cheeseburger and both were delicious. We came back for breakfast because prices are half of what our hotel was charging. All food is really good and the service is friendly. You can sit outside or inside.

Yelp
We were eyeing their daily 2-6pm happy hour special so we came in on a Friday 3pm. Didn't have beer but we did order the burger and Bao special. Both were good but we rated the burger over the Bao. We ordered the burger in medium rare and it was cool perfectly in light pink. The Bao had a pork belly which had some great sauce and the pork belly was fatty. Service was great as we mentioned to our server that we've been trying out different burgers. Around 3pm, the bar was somewhat full but they have a counter facing the Kuhio street and more tables in the back. We sat at the counter since we're only trying the burger and Bao. Overall, good and service was good. Would definitely add this place on my list.

Yelp
We dined here 3 times, plus 1 takeout. Service was on point every visit. Presentation, plating, quality, overall ambiance were way better than expected for a casual joint. So much care and attention to detail. Kudos to the team and to the management. Breakfast: 3/5. This was the worst meal we had here, and our 1st visit. I'm glad we gave them another chance. 3 egg mahi'ai omelette and kalua pork burrito. Both were bland, even with the sauce provided with the burrito. Do not recommend coming for breakfast. Dessert: 5/5. Banana bread pudding and mango soft serve. The bread pudding was great, but the mango soft serve's OMG. The mango flavor comes across incredibly fresh and natural. The soft serve's silky smooth with a lovely, creamy mouthfeel. I can't remember what the toppings were exactly, but it was the perfect combination of crunchy & saucy without being overpowering or too sweet. Hands down best dessert the entire trip. That soft serve was so good that we went back the day before we were leaving...alas, the soft serve machine was broken. :( We had honey sesame shrimp (5/5), chicken satay skewers (5/5), pork spring rolls (5/5), bread pudding x 2, and minisadas (2/5). The mango soft serve was so good that I called them the next morning to ask if the machine was back up, hoping to get one before our flight. It was not. :(( Yes, it was that good. It still makes me sad that I didn't get to have another one. DO NOT PASS ON THE MANGO SOFT SERVE.

Yelp
I wanted to try Piko's happy hour, so two friends and I walked over Monday night. We were greeted warmly and seated at a nice table outside. I chose a $5 draft beer and the vegetarian tomato-cuke poke, $6. It was a nice-sized serving, but there was too much sauce for my liking making the dish overly salty. If I ordered it again, I would ask for the sauce on the side. My friends ordered drinks and food, one had the $5 happy hour hamburger and the other ordered the $12 pupu platter. Both were happy with their choices. Overall: nice ambiance, good value, quality food, excellent service.

Yelp
Had dinner here. Employees chatting 1 booth away, and talking shop the entire time we were there Food not all that. More like a pupu restaurant, and not full scale restaurant Parking elevator not working, had to walk down ramp to get to and from restaurant
