Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof

This was an amazing stay at a wonderful hotel. It actually felt like a 5* and not like a 4*. We travelled with 2 young children and upon arrival we were surprised with two soft bunnies, 2 golden ducks for the shower, an extra plastic bath, shower gel and shampoo for the kids, even 2 small bathrobes! We have been to many hotels with the kids and this was one of the best welcomes our kids ever received. I especially enjoyed the whats app AI assistant tool, it was extremely helpful and replied promptly. When it didnt have answers an employee of the hotel enter the discussion and replied. We hired a car and when asked they provided pricing both for the hotel parking and also for a nearby cheaper parking (2min walk - very convenient). The Olivier bistro - restaurant was lovely as well and offered tasty food. We booked the suite which was very comfortable and even had a big balcony. To walk to the room from the main building (1min walk) you go through a lovely garden. Highly recommended!!

I wanted to share our recent experience at The Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof, which we found absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. We stayed in a Luxury Room Grand that comfortably accommodated the two of us and our ten-year-old daughter. She was delighted to receive some coloring pens and a drawing book, which kept her happily entertained.||The hotel's location is about a 10-minute walk from the town, but we appreciated the peacefulness and the fewer number of people in the area. During our stay, we tried several restaurants in Ghent, but the highlight was definitely Olivier Le Petit Bistro located right in the hotel. The food was exceptional, and we enjoyed having our dinner there for two nights.||We also took advantage of the hotel's swimming pool. Although it was a bit on the small side, it was nice and quiet, adding to the refined ambiance of the hotel. Overall, our experience at The Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof was delightful, and we look forward to visiting again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and chic hotel. Everything was so well considered and it was a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The room was comfy, well decorated and the coffee machine was a great touch. The spa area was also much appreciated. Thank you for your hospitality!

Very nice hotel. Modern, chic, quiet. Sauna and Spa is quite small. The pool is rather a ticking box exercise. Clean facilities and amazing cleaning team. Amazing welcome goodies for when you arrive. However - diff price rates per night - no thanks, will never visit again based on that alone. Never ever have been to a hotel that does that … and I personally do not like it.

Stunning, stunning, stunning. If you want to have an exceptional stay while in Ghent, Belgium, stay at Pillows. My husband booked this hotel from Canada (where we live) and we had no idea what to expect, other than we knew the pictures of the hotel looked nice. We were so pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel. It’s lovely, very well appointed and so close to everything you want to see in this beautiful city. We were there July 16th and were only there for one night. We could have easily stayed several more nights to get the full effect of Ghent. Turns out it was a good thing we were only there one night because the day we arrived, huge sound stages were being erected all around the city for a 2 week long music festival that was set to begin the day after we left. If you’re going to visit Ghent, do it. You’ll love it. But if you’re not going to the music festival, don’t go the last two weeks of July. Thousands and thousands of people descend on the city and you can hardly move, let alone see the historic sites.

Great location. Really excellent customer service from both reception, breakfast crew, and bar area. Lovely outdoor garden. Unsurprisingly really nice pillows! ( and sheets) comfy bed. Try to get a room facing the garden if you can. Good breakfast spread. Located a few mins walk from town center. I’m going to try other Pillows locations after this experience!

This was our 3rd Pillows & I think the best so far. Absolutely wonderful evening meal & delicious generous breakfast. The room was great but the only thing I would like Pillows to do is to have at least the possibility of brighter light in the bedroom. Even with all the lights on the rooms are too dark. The spa was lovely for a quick dip in the pool & a sauna. Friendly staff. Good location. We parked in the public car park on the Ramenstraat which was very convenient. A highly recommended hotel

The place is nice but you need to walk 15 minutes to the center. No conceirge and no valet parking when you arrived for the whole day. the service is very low. The room since 8:30 am until 3 pm has not been cleaned although we had a sign please clean the room.

What a beautiful hotel in the quaint city of Ghent. You get a historic meets modern minimalism vibe which works. The room I was in was spacious and lovely. The bed linens , pillows (yeah, I am a total pillow snob) and sleep quality were fantastic. I loved the in room coffee. We were here for meetings, and the common areas are very well appointed. The property itself is really gorgeous!

My husband and I stayed at Pillows for a few nights of our European honeymoon. While making our reservation, my husband put a note in saying that we would be on our honeymoon. Upon arrival, a member of the front desk escorted us to our hotel room. Once inside, we realized they upgraded our room and left us the sweetest note and a few goodies to celebrate our new marriage. They also decorated our bed! My husband and I were shocked and very thankful. Our balcony even had a view of the castle! They went above and beyond to make our stay special. We would definitely recommend anybody going to get Ghent, to stay at Pillows. The staff is amazing and so friendly and the hotel is very clean. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Opulence! That is the word that came to mind when I think about my week long stay at the hotel. Let's start with the service. Top shelf! From my arrival I have been treated like I am the only guest in the hotel even though I am not. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They seek you out to greet you and take care of needs you didn't even know you had. When I arrived at the hotel my bags were immediately taken from me. The receptionist brought me to my room and described the hotel, it's many amenities and all the functions of my room. My bags were also already in my room! How did they do that?? At the buffet breakfast the waitress asked me if I had any allergies and proceeded to sit me and then brought me all types of fabulous food. Btw, the cappuccino was incredible and I drank as many as I could throughout my stay. For dinner I chose to order food in one of the few very casual but high end sitting areas. It was like eating a meal in your living room, if you lived in a mansion. The staff is working hard to make sure you enjoy yourself and they make it look and feel inviting and effortless. Enough on the service....let's talk about the room. One big pain point when I travel is the ability to get a good night sleep because of the beds. The bed is awesome! Very high end sheets, feather duvet, feather pillows, and even a mattress pad to make the bed even more comfortable. Slept like a baby. The room is very well appointed with a daily stocked FREE minibar. Yes, free. It consisted of Belgium chocolate, water and soda. Everyday when I got back to the room it was magically restocked. The bathroom is very nice with a large shower and fog free mirror (nice touch). The room also has a 50" flat screen television (connected my laptop to it easily) and a Bluetooth speaker. While the room is not large, you are eager to get back to your room each night to relax and unwind in style and comfort. Now for the food.... I spoke already about the service at breakfast. The food itself was very good. What you would expect for 25 euro at a high end hotel, pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs made to order. What sets it apart is the service....and the cappuccino. For dinner I ate in the upstairs bar area in one of the living rooms. I started with a French onion soup. It was very good but the herb butter and bread was awesome. For the main course I had the peppered steak. While the portion was small, as to be expected, it was excellent and cooked to perfection. The chef brought it out to me personally. For desert I had a creme brûlée and of course a cappuccino. Both were excellent. In summary, I stay at many hotels globally and this one is the best hotel for comfort and service by a long shot. If you can stay here, you won't be disappointed! I sure wasn't.

I have had the opportunity to travel all over the world because of my job in sports. I've stayed in some of the nicest 5 star hotels imaginable. None compare to Pillow Grand Hotel Reylof. The service is extremely top shelf and the facilities are as beautiful as they come. My wife and I were greeted and taken care of with so much class from the moment we stepped foot in the building until the moment we left. My personal favorite moment was having bottles of fresh water waiting in the cup holders of our rental car each time we picked up from the valet. I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Ghent. I hope my future travels will bring me near so I can experience Pillow Grand Hotel Relof or another Pillow location again.
