Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof

Stayed here between Christmas and New Year with my partner. Staff were informative and friendly, offering a smooth check in and a room upgrade upon arrival, as well as local suggestions. The room was very clean and modern with a comfy bed and fresh towels/robes and black out curtains. It had a lovely view of the main building. The spa and pool were very clean, calm and smelt divine, with towels/robes. We dined at the Olivier Bistro which offered tasty and high quality food for a fair price, cocktails also tasted excellent. The hotel itself was modern and classic with a homely feel, and everywhere smelt lovely. Location is fantastic being a short walk to the main square and shops. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury and relaxing stay in Ghent.

Wonderful stay at a fantastic hotel. Exceptionally friendly welcome, very comfortable room, great location. We ate in the bistro and loved the food. Great atmosphere, a real luxury. We used the spa and enjoyed a relaxing swim. Would totally recommend.

Just at the centre of this lovely little town. Off the main street , walking distance from the market and restaurants alone this sides of the river . The hotel is elegant and well decorated. The lobby area have a small cafe and bar with a cosy seating area . The hallway leads to 2 restaurants, on of them is a Michelin star Belgian/French restaurant, with a seating area in and outdoor at the hotel garden. The hotel have 2 buildings each is made of 2 floors . Clean hallways. The rooms a spacious , either with a street or a garden view. New and comfortable sofas and beds. Small fridge and coffee machine. Bathroom is clean and well designed and comfortable. Great breakfast and excellent staff . Highly recommended.

As a Hyatt Globalist, I can not recommend any Hyatt members stay at this property. Upon arrival, we were never greeted or thanked for being Globalists as is standard for Hyatt affiliated hotels. Though this property is a Mr. & Mrs. Smith Hyatt property, we have always been greeted at these types of hotels very warmly and shown appreciation for our globalist status. While this really wouldn’t have been an issue, it became more clear that we weren’t welcomed at the property when the employee checking us in berated us for not adding our 2 small children to the reservation in advance. This has never been a problem in all the other stays around the world we’ve had but she made a huge deal out of it. They do not offer any upgrades or anything special for being a globalist and simultaneously charge for every little extra including a crib which is standard at most other hotels. I’m not sure if the staff there are familiar at all with the Hyatt affiliation because they seemed clueless on the status. Furthermore, the person checking us in thought we booked on Expedia, not sure how she came up with that when we booked on Hyatt with points. Only select rooms are actually in the historic building most of them are in a structure that looks a motel in the back. The staff at the cafe was friendly and beds comfortable with decent location but unfortunately the positives end there. Hyatt members might as well be checking into the Marriott down the street as your Hyatt status will not be recognized as anything at this hotel.

Ive stayed here for up to 2 weeks at a time multiple times for work over the past several years. The service, room, and amenities are always amazing. Its quiet yet in walking distance to the city center. The food options at the hotel restaurant and cafe are delicious, and they are always very helpful if there are any challenges. They also have a very nice spa. Highly recommend for any trip in Ghent

This is top notch hotel, I’m in love. First, the stuff here is incredibly polite and sweet. They gave us map, places to see & EXTRA CHOCOLATE 🍫 for us to taste before buying. Also there is more chocolate in the room - WOW 🤯😍 Second, the room… I’m speechless, we’ve got to be in the room with the terrace! I think it was an upgrade? Not sure. Then the SPA. I will add more tomorrow as we didn’t get a chance to see it yet BUT I think we’re going ti stay another night here as I want to stay to live in this hotel (I’m dead serious). The restaurant looks so good too, the special menu from chef… 😍 I’m coming back here to update on the rest tomorrow 🙌🏻

A really nice vintage-style hotel close to center (10 min walk) of Ghent. The hotel offers a rich, varied and abundant breakfast. There is a gourmet restaurant making tasty food. Plus the hotel has a gym, sauna and spa free for guests.

What a beautiful hotel in the quaint city of Ghent. You get a historic meets modern minimalism vibe which works. The room I was in was spacious and lovely. The bed linens , pillows (yeah, I am a total pillow snob) and sleep quality were fantastic. I loved the in room coffee. We were here for meetings, and the common areas are very well appointed. The property itself is really gorgeous!

My husband and I stayed at Pillows for a few nights of our European honeymoon. While making our reservation, my husband put a note in saying that we would be on our honeymoon. Upon arrival, a member of the front desk escorted us to our hotel room. Once inside, we realized they upgraded our room and left us the sweetest note and a few goodies to celebrate our new marriage. They also decorated our bed! My husband and I were shocked and very thankful. Our balcony even had a view of the castle! They went above and beyond to make our stay special. We would definitely recommend anybody going to get Ghent, to stay at Pillows. The staff is amazing and so friendly and the hotel is very clean. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Opulence! That is the word that came to mind when I think about my week long stay at the hotel. Let's start with the service. Top shelf! From my arrival I have been treated like I am the only guest in the hotel even though I am not. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They seek you out to greet you and take care of needs you didn't even know you had. When I arrived at the hotel my bags were immediately taken from me. The receptionist brought me to my room and described the hotel, it's many amenities and all the functions of my room. My bags were also already in my room! How did they do that?? At the buffet breakfast the waitress asked me if I had any allergies and proceeded to sit me and then brought me all types of fabulous food. Btw, the cappuccino was incredible and I drank as many as I could throughout my stay. For dinner I chose to order food in one of the few very casual but high end sitting areas. It was like eating a meal in your living room, if you lived in a mansion. The staff is working hard to make sure you enjoy yourself and they make it look and feel inviting and effortless. Enough on the service....let's talk about the room. One big pain point when I travel is the ability to get a good night sleep because of the beds. The bed is awesome! Very high end sheets, feather duvet, feather pillows, and even a mattress pad to make the bed even more comfortable. Slept like a baby. The room is very well appointed with a daily stocked FREE minibar. Yes, free. It consisted of Belgium chocolate, water and soda. Everyday when I got back to the room it was magically restocked. The bathroom is very nice with a large shower and fog free mirror (nice touch). The room also has a 50" flat screen television (connected my laptop to it easily) and a Bluetooth speaker. While the room is not large, you are eager to get back to your room each night to relax and unwind in style and comfort. Now for the food.... I spoke already about the service at breakfast. The food itself was very good. What you would expect for 25 euro at a high end hotel, pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs made to order. What sets it apart is the service....and the cappuccino. For dinner I ate in the upstairs bar area in one of the living rooms. I started with a French onion soup. It was very good but the herb butter and bread was awesome. For the main course I had the peppered steak. While the portion was small, as to be expected, it was excellent and cooked to perfection. The chef brought it out to me personally. For desert I had a creme brûlée and of course a cappuccino. Both were excellent. In summary, I stay at many hotels globally and this one is the best hotel for comfort and service by a long shot. If you can stay here, you won't be disappointed! I sure wasn't.

I have had the opportunity to travel all over the world because of my job in sports. I've stayed in some of the nicest 5 star hotels imaginable. None compare to Pillow Grand Hotel Reylof. The service is extremely top shelf and the facilities are as beautiful as they come. My wife and I were greeted and taken care of with so much class from the moment we stepped foot in the building until the moment we left. My personal favorite moment was having bottles of fresh water waiting in the cup holders of our rental car each time we picked up from the valet. I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Ghent. I hope my future travels will bring me near so I can experience Pillow Grand Hotel Relof or another Pillow location again.
