Pilo's Tequila Garden

I had a very unpleasant visit to Pilo's Tequila Garden in Miami and I feel like I need to share my experience with others. Upon entering the bar/club, we were the only ones there and it felt like the server was trying to make the most money out of us because of the language barrier. The hostess quickly rushed us to order without giving us a chance to even look at the menu. When I ordered a frozen margarita, I later realized that it may not have even contained tequila as the hostess seemed uninformed about the drinks. What made the experience even worse was the fact that the hostess was uninterested in honoring the Yelp promotion of a free mezcal shot and charged us significantly more than the listed price for a single margarita. The discrepancy in prices was further emphasized when my husband was told that a casamigo on the rocks was priced at 50 dollars, only to later find out it was priced at 20 dollars online. This left us feeling as though we were being ripped off and taken advantage of. We were not only disappointed with the hostess' lack of knowledge and willingness to honor promotions, but also the overall atmosphere of the bar/club. It was empty and lacked the energy and excitement that one would expect from a bar or club. In conclusion, I would not recommend Pilo's Tequila Garden to anyone looking for a fair and enjoyable experience. I suggest being cautious and aware of the prices before ordering anything, and to consider other options in the area for a better experience. We ultimately left Pilo's and went to a nearby bar that was packed with people and had much better vibes. I will not be returning to Pilo's and will not recommend it to anyone else.

Cool vibe here.. everyone gets up and dance. Very dope! Will be back! Deff gotta try the birria and the nachos next time. DJ Tury was doing his thing son! Playing all the feels and classics.. Had something for everyone. Very chill Miami Vibe. I see this place has mixed reviews but my team and I had a blast. And fellas the women are half naked? Why not lol. Stop in. Have a drink or few! I’ll definitely be back.

The music here I hated because every track was a disco/techno house song that sounded exactly the same as the previous one. The place started to get a little busy at 11p. The place is really small. The food was below average. The service was very quick. The drinks weren’t very good. The girls that work here are all very good looking. The inside has a closed area and an open area. Overall, I think guys would have a good experience here; the girls may not because of all the attractive female staff, esp. the bartender. I saw groups of women alone and groups of guys alone so may be both groups came to find each other but they were not talking to each other. In conclusion: I think the place is definitely worth checking out if in the area; however, you may be disappointed by the garbage music and below-average food and drinks. The view of good-looking women was the saving grace for me as a guy.

The food and drinks are good but they charge & for EVERYTHING! My husband & I will not be returning. We came to see Michael Blackson & was entirely disappointed. So many things was wrong with this venue. We purchased tickets for $174.58 for 2 people for a 7pm show. The show did not start until 9:30pm. They also said we had to stand up but if we wanted to sit at the high top tables, they were $100 minimum. $500 for the wooden booths & $750 for seats next to the stage. Remind you, this is an outdoor event. It was very hot and my husband was sweating bullets. The fans were not enough to keep anybody cool. They also wanted a credit card and ID to hold onto just in case anything went wrong. Once again, we will not be returning. It was very expensive and not worth it at all!

This place should be closed down for their shady practices. Viviana decided to charge us for Casa migos and a $4.00 extra charge for margarita mix when we simply ordered house margaritas. To add insult to injury, she decides to tip herself 3.00 on top of the 20% service charge (which is probably the reason they charge you like you ordered premium liquor). I spoke to the manager and he stated that they don’t serve house liquor. A bunch of scammers running a restaurant. It is not about the money but the principle of stealing right in your face. In my years growing up and living in another big city, NYC, I never experienced these scams by waitresses or bartenders.

This was an adventure! I saw this restaurant on Instagram and decided to go. It was definitely not what I expected. Everyone was very nice. Service was good but the food/drinks a bit pricey. Enjoyed the music. A must visit when 8n the wynwood area.

The prices of their drinks were ridiculous. Ordered four Casamigos shots was $107 before tip. I’ve been to clubs all over the world and have never paid $25+ for a shot of a lower end drink. Honestly, the vibes aren’t worth the price. You will have a better time across the street at The Dirty Rabbit.

Purchased a bottle and was seated at my section to then be told that we needed to finish our current bottle and either leave or purchase another bottle at a $400 minimum. The security guard was standing at our table watching until the bottled was finished to than call the server over and to have us leave the club. Myself and my fiance are business owners as well and this was very unprofessional and we will not be visiting this spot again.

Halloween Weekend at Pilo's was a blast! Fun atmosphere, super nice bartenders, and awesome music! I do not think they service food here but I may be wrong. The venue reminds me of a large outdoor styled backyard. Highly recommend to come with friends!

No cover if you enter before a certain time. When we left it was empty Drinks are okay, but expensive. Bartender was friendly Bathroom semi clean, they also have a bathroom attendant. My gripe is they ONLY play Spanish music. I was there for one hour and heard maybe one or two songs, and the socks were jack Harlow songs, lol!!! Switch it up- and this is from someone who enjoys Spanish music.

Omg this place is AMAZING! Me and my girls were celebrating my bachelorette and looking for a place to go for a drink, we were a bit skeptical at the beginning, but these people treated us like princess! The DJ, the promoter, the bottle girls EVERYTHING was wonderful!! I would 100% recommend to go party here you will have a blast

Great place for a turn up on the weekend or even a weekday! Sections are worth it but if you don't want to splurge on a bottle I recommend getting there a little early and waiting for the party to turn up. Reason being.. the line tends to get longer as the night goes on and it may be hard to get in without a table. But great area, right in wynwood around other bars and clubs. Perfect place to celebrate a bday, bachelor/ette weekend! Music is good. Spanish music mostly but they'll throw in some hip hop & R&B. I guess it depends on the vibe of the crowd.

Get the guac. Period. Also what a cute outdoor space with retractable roof. It started to rain while we ate and drank and the cover certainly made staying outside possible. Service was good, prices aren't outrageous (it's wynwood after all). And thanks to the DJ who basically played my 8th grade tracks and had me dancing in my seat before I was convinced to extricate myself from the guac, quesadilla and tacos to move it in the floor (no school dance awkwardness these days).

Okay so I don't know what happened to this place but I will say I have been going to this club through a bar crawl special that I purchase through Eventbrite. so needless to say for the price which is $43 including 4 alcoholic drinks and 3-4 covers included within the price it isn't too bad. I will say that any club you enter in Miami, if you don't have a promoter it is difficult to get in anywhere without paying. Overall the place is small compared to other locations. I don't think it gets too packed unless it Is really late, which by then your probably one too may drinks down and don't care. It is a "garden" meaning it is outdoors, and although it has a roof to shelter it is still hot and if it rains you will get wet. The service is OK, I feel any club you go to your bound to spend on tips specially if you order bottles. If I didn't have a promoter special I probably wouldn't pay to go inside or buy drinks or hookah here. I do like the DJ and music they select compared to many others on the same strip. - From a Miami Native

Cool place to go clubbing in wynwood. Every day of the week you can catch a lit vibe.

We went for taco Tuesday / Happy Hour around 7 ish and it was empty! I was very skeptical because I've never been to a taco Tuesday and no one was there ! But we had a great experience ! Happy Hour was till 8 ! They in fact have Happy Hour every day of the week which is nice! Food/ drinks : the tacos came in 2's and were 6bucks! They were filled pretty well and so flavorful! I really enjoyed them! The Fish had a Light crisp to them and the sauce on top was tasty. We had the guacamole and it was fresh and good but the chips were stale . They brought us fresh hot chips and it made a world of a difference. The guac was 6 bucks as well I believe. The like Margarita was tasty i had two rounds and the first round was really good the second round I believe it was a different bartender so it was just okay. The DJ was good he came shortly after we finished eating and he played a variety of late 99's early 99's music which I enjoyed!

They tell you there's no cover to convince you to get in line, and give you a band, then the bouncer at the end of the line tries to extort you for money. The guys in front of us it was because they had open toed shoes (not sure how much they paid the guy). For us it was because we were wearing shorts-- he told us it $40 each. We turned around and left. so, no shorts for guys in Wynwood. in the sunmer. It's laughable what a scam this place is. Take it from a local-- there's tons of other bars in Wynwood-- better to go there instead.

The service from the bartender at the outside bar and the cocktail waitresses were phenomenal, and the door manager/promoter, but the manager that deals with the registers etc inside was a (not going to name call). Since no one was around and I was advised the food menu is inside, asked him. Instead of sarcastically saying I don't know, he could've simply told me it's on the tv screen, which I later found out. By then, part of our group had already left to the taco spot, and we decided to join. That's 30 ppl who wanted food but couldn't find it at the time we had interest.

I came to eat here on the weekend. The place is located in the Wynwood area. Parking is very tricky here on weekends. They have metered street parking that you pay with an app. You may need to take the first available space that you can find and walk from there like I ended up doing. The place is kind of cool. It has an open roof and two bars. It is decorated with some neat murals, as is all of Wynwood. In the evenings, this spot transforms into a club. The restaurant part of the place is behind one of the bars. I ordered the El Pescadito Taco. It was delicious; very tasty.It came in a pair of 3. I also got a couple of drinks from here. They also offer bottle service, and hookah there. I did not partake in neither. This place is a bit pricey, and they do not let you open up a tab. You either have to pay cash or swipe your card every time you order. Like most places in that area, they also add the tip to your bill. The staff there is pretty friendly and the place seemed pretty safe. This place is more of a 3.5 place but I rounded up. Good food, decent service, horrible parking, pricey food and drink pretty much sums up my visit.

I used to frequent Pilo's in Brickell quite often, good food there, mostly tame in terms of patrons. This sister establishment was quite opposite energy. I did not try the food, but was first introduced with a line out the door. Luckily some friends, got me shuffled through into the intense back courtyard which had nonstop DJ energy and a lot of dancing / drinks / energy from the crowd. If you're looking for loud beats, nonstop DJ sets and an amped crowd, this is a great spot for you. If you're looking for something more low key, consider their Brickell location.

I had gone to Pilo's before during the night. This was my first time I had gone during the day. Ladies were free on Sunday and men were 40$ each but the cover came with a drink at least. Either way, we were invited to the VIP area on the main stairs. We went, and it was more spacious fresher than the main area. The music was good, half spanish/reggaeton half english/trap. I thought that it being a Mexican place it would be mostly spanish but it was still enjoyable. The attire was very casual, very urban as you would expect in a place in Wynwood. However, I do have to say that the place gets very hot during the day. I was sweating a lot! I would most likely go back to this place but during the night. But, during the night it definitely gets more crowded that during day hours.

The music was great on Friday night! Got there early, the service was good and quick!

The most Wynwood taco experience ever. I took a star because Pilo's has two identities and I want the restaurant identity to shine a little more. Vibe: picture your a bar/club outdoor situation with tasty food. Now your open your wyes and welcome to Pilo's. There was a dj the night I visited and I wont lie he gave me old school 106 & park hits and I was here for all that. The servers were great and attentive. Couldnt find a menu which made it tough to order because asking the server questions over a DJ was rough. The tables only had barstools which is always annoying to me. Imma need a little back support with my taco. This setup was my only option at 7pm. I understand we are going to flip to a dance party experience but lets do that a little later please. Food: 5 stars. The tacos were perfection. The flavor was full and packed a little punch. The drinks were amazing. And by drinks I mean tequila me please!!! Since I didnt have a menu it stopped me from going through the hassle of ordering more but I definitely would have.

Daily happy hour! Everything was $6! $6 for 2 tacos on happy hour menu! Mon-thurs 4-9pm, Fri-Sun 3-8pm. The DJ on Tuesday evening was amazing!! He played lots of 2000s music that was a nice evening of throwbacks. I was surprised how yummy the margaritas were, and they were a nice size. The tacos were full! We ordered the fish tacos and were quite pleased! We also ordered guacamole and chips. Our chips were stale, so we asked for another order of fresh chips which they kindly made for us. The portions were surprisingly great! The two tacos filled me up. One of my favorite things was the decor! The murals, the skulls, the setup was really cool. Glad to have found this little gem. P.s. There are only 4 options for tacos on the happy hour menu and no vegetarian options. One other thing that was odd was that you pay before receiving your meal. And if you want to get more drinks, it's a separate order/swipe of your card...so if I didn't enjoy my food I'm not sure I would have gotten a refund or been able to order something else! This also included a 20% gratuity.

Worth checking out :) Ill start off by saying that I didnt eat or drink here so I an unable to include that in my review. THE PLACE: Pilos is located in Wynwood, difficulty parking is expected in this area. Pilo's is relatively small, but its very cute, feels modern and cozy and played great music. The Dj did a great job engaging guests and keeping the party going. THE SERVICE: Bouncer and waiters seemed professional, but I didn't really have much encounters with them. My boyfriend and our friends had basic drinks, no specialty cocktails, and only 1 of the bartenders seemed to be nice. Would I return, sure? But it didn't blow my mind either.

It doesn't matter what day of the week it is. Pilos is lit every day! Haven't tried the food but for partying is all the way 5 stars.

Say it's R&B night but only play 2 R&B songs !!! the DJ doesn't let a song play, also he doesn't play enough English music mainly spanish and this is a club with different races

It was very fitting that my first time here was on Cinco de Mayo. The outdoor seating is very nice with colorful outdoor seating and decorations. We ordered the lime and pomegranate margaritas which were very delicious and strong. I definitely was feeling it after one drink. We then ordered the queso and guacamole dips to start which were very delicious and fresh. They were doing a mix-and-match tacos just for today which did take a while to come out but were very filling and flavorful. I definitely would come here again just not on a day like Cinco de Mayo due to the amount of people that were here. Thank you for the awesome meal!

The flavor in this tacos were immaculate!! The dj was so much fun and kept playing all the bangers all night. The drinks were super sweet and you could barely taste the alcohol but you know it was there. I wish I could come again for the tacos but I'm leaving Miami. 10/10 get the shrimp grilled tacos!!!

Horrible experience specifically with the apparent Hispanic bouncer at the front with the high haircut being racist and rude to my Peruvian friend presenting her Id. He kept exclaiming that she needed to have an American Id??? He kept saying "What country are we in" and " that's not my problem" when we asked what other ID can people use. Like Miami doesn't get international tourists. We don't recommend out of town tourists coming because of this racist and disrespectful worker. Honestly extremely disappointing coming from another apparent Hispanic worker.

You might be asking, is Wynwood even poppin' on a Monday? And the answer is YES, thanks to this place. It's a taco bar but ask me if I even had one LOL the answer is no, unfortunately. Because we were too busy enjoying the outside part and the amazing DJ they had that night. Excellent music, nonstop. Great vibe. Definitely a great addition to Wynwood. And they have hookah (in case that makes a difference to anyone thought I'd mention it lol) I'll update my review once I've tried the food, of course!

After brunch we stumbled across this place. It had a great entrance and the music was bumping so we decided to try this place out. Super cute open outdoor space. From the looks of things we may have missed brunch and came in right before the day party started! Who knew! Awesome drink specials, can't beat a $6 margarita. The dj must have known he had some old folks in the building (us) because he was playing all the hits from the early 2000s lol. Sunday day party for the win! We couldn't stay long, but I'd highly recommend trying it.

Went here for a few drinks and let me tell you. They were excellent. Ambiance was nice. Definitely a good spot to go with your friends. Highly recommended and will be going back there again whenever I visit miami

Went here last weekend and the line wasn't too long so the wait wasn't bad. There's a cover here, once you walk in it's spacious. Music was a mix of different genres, drinks were good, bartenders friendly. Can't really complain here.

This place is a joke. Viviana decided to charge us for Casamigos shots and a $4.00 extra charge for margarita mix. We order two house margarita. Viviana also decided to tip herself on top of the 20% service charge they automatically add to your bill. When we spoke to the manager he was completely dismissive.

Wouldn't recommend this place as a person of color as the staffing(mainly Hispanic) is very rude to you. Got yelled at and called out of my name by staff member (claiming her name to be Melanie) due to my wrist band that I sat on the counter fly over on to her side of the bar. After I tried to explain to her that's what happened she then proceeded to yell and tell me I can go to another bar because she doesn't want me (a paying customer) around her. My friend and I then tried to order another drink at the same bar she (Melanie) had her coworker come tell us we need to leave for being rude to his coworker (Melanie) after I reacted for her calling me out of my name. I then ask to speak to the manager of the night to let them know what was going on and as soon as the manager (Yulissa) came over with security the first thing she tells us is to leave without even trying to speak with me. As a customer who spent my hard earned money at this establishment I can honestly say this night was very traumatizing for me and I will not be back.

Got there as soon as they opened and got the birria tacos and passion fruit margarita. Both were surprisingly delicious. Since it was still pretty early in the night it was super quiet and chill.

My friends and I went to hang out after dinner. Music was bomb, food good, shots better No complaints here.

Walked in here on a Saturday night and it was pretty cool. It wasn't heavily packed but the music and the vibe were great! The Dj was awesome and interactive and played great music! From Salsa to hip hop to reggaeton. There is an inside bar but the area is more of a resting spot cause it is quite small. Not sure if there's any food here though but the drinks were great! We danced the whole night. Definitely a last stop, fun spot!

I wanted to like this place but the blonde botched lady at the door is horrible, please get rid her! She clearly shows favoritism, as my single guy friend only had to pay $20 bucks and charged me $30 and and also forced a $60 dollar tab for drinks without reason or giving a heads up. She didn't do it to my friend. She's a terrible lady with a terrible attitude. I really wanted to give this place a chance but ush she ruined my experience with that forced $60 tab

Updating my review to 5 stars, cuz even though I find it to be over priced I keep coming to this place. And any place you come back to 2+ times deserves a 5 star

I come here often and was just harassed by the bathroom attendant she grabbed my arm hard allowing someone to skip and yelled no allowing someone to skip. I told a bartender and she said they can't do anything because she's been here for years and is loved and she won't tell the manager lmao. So harassment is allowed here because they all are "family" lmao woww soo we pay for harassment now?? So much for coming here to have as "good" time. Thanks for making me feel safe!!! This lil hole in the wall club has a vibe out of this world. Hookah's, drink and wings. The music was playing and we jamming. I like the vibe but I wish they played more R&B

Dope spot.. absolutely cool spot. No complaints there. The complaints start with the staff.. in the inside bar i got charged 17.00 for a double Tito's, in the outside it was 70 bucks for a double Tito's and a double jack . I can't believe a double jack was 53 bucks.. anyway. The spot was cool the bartender sucked.

I hate to say it but...I will not return to Pilo's Street Tacos in Wynwood. Where do I start? The food? The drinks? The service? I was unimpressed with all three. The only thing I liked about Pilo's Tacos was the murals and decoration. Upon arrival, we sat outside. There were at least 5-6 waiters/waitresses clustered together, and not one of them greeted us at our table. A few minutes passed by and still, no assistance; someone in my group had to call them over to the table. Finally, they came over and they could barely hear us, so they were taking off their masks to communicate. I think we should've just sat inside. Since the place is a "club/restaurant", you have to pay before you receive anything. So if you need to make any adjustments or add on, you would have to have an entirely separate transaction. A lot of places are like this but the setup is just a little strange. It felt like I was just sitting in the middle of a club expecting service like a cafe, Lol. The drinks were not mixed well-- I had to send mine back. The food? Served in foil takeout containers. All in all, I've had better food, drinks, and service.

Had a bit of mixed feelings about this place. Came here because the music sounded absolutely amazing and we had just left Gramps, another bar that was in the area. In comparison, the energy just wasn't there at this place. Definitely felt like an older/more boujee crowd that would rather people watch and get bottle service than dance to the loud lit music. There was a $10 cover to get in which wasn't bad at all late on a Friday night. The drinks were pretty good although very expensive and not strong, boo. The place is well designed and the look to it is really nice and modern. I personally loved the place and the music the most. Whoever was DJing on July 2nd, keep up the good work!! This place closes relatively early too compared to other places, so it feels more like a sit down place. I think Pilo's definitely has a lot more potential and could go on to be great, but some work would have to be done to match the energy of the place to the crowd that comes here. Cheers!

This one is a tough one. My friends and I came to grab a drink after dinner at Le Chick around 1030/11 and the vibe was relaxed but with some great music. Service was quick and friendly. Drinks subpar but decent for the money and vibe. The next day we returned around 12 when we were told things pick up and now the place had a $10 cover for women and was strictly Latin music (merengue mostly in the half hour we were there) and again drinks subpar. I think the first time we came was good for music drinks and convo but I don't know that I'd return for a party vibe.

This place is terrible, first wouldn't let my girl in for not having backs on her sandals. After putting a straw around her ankles from across the street they let her in without noticing lol and inside saw girls with regular sandals like hers??? Then made me and my buddy have a $30 minimum each. The girl running the door is extremely rude as well. Once inside the DJ was horrible kept putting horns and sirens literally every 30 seconds couldn't even hear any song. Then at the bar I ordered a beer and a shot of tequila (didn't specify what kind) it came out to $38! I then asked for the receipt and she put Casamigos but poured me the cheep well stuff. Basically just ripping people off. I would never go here again, the girl at the door will ruin that place. Not to mention they make you wait forever just to go into a empty bar lol

Pay 10$ flat fee for entrance. Drinks are kinda too pricey. Very much Spanish environment sometimes music changes. Wynwood parking is already chaotic especially on weekends. But had a decent time shared with my friends is it COVID safe Not really very crowded but what do you expect out of a night club. And tables availability is very 2/10 chances you would get one. The table we managed to get eventually got bought out after we were consuming more than 300$ worth of their service they notified us someone purchased the table so we had to get out but I guess that's how it goes just annoying to get comfortable than get kicked out and figure out where to put our hookah and drinks.

This place really isn't about the food. It's the great ambience and music, to dance and have a good time. Fellas they usually charge 40 but it's a bar tap, so you technically get two drinks whereas girls are free. Fun place to dance and have a good time

Paula is the best host, so gorgeous, so generous. Bottle service and attitude got the place better.

Huge shout out to Paola and the rest of the servers/ bartenders. They showed us how to really do it. We walked into Pilos the first time gen admin thought it was amazing and headed back a second time. That when we met paola. Doesn't stop there, our server recommended the GREATEST drink I've ever had. It had a whole ice cream popsicle concoction inside of it. Legit dream about it. Pilos became our "date night" spot. The place is a whole damn VIBE. My wife and I were treated so well. The music and the food ? Phenomenal. I can't stress the music enough. I can never ever sit down. The service is actual service! So hospitable! I recommend reserving tables! Did it once and never showing up without a reservation. This place is WORTH every penny. We will def be back.

I used to love going to pilos for food and drinks. But today I was super disappointed as they didn't let me inside because I was wearing sandals. There were so many people that were being let in with sandals after I was pulled to the side but I was told I couldn't go in because of my sandals. I was also wearing wide pants so you couldn't even tell what shoes I was wearing. But I was asked to lift my pants so they can see my shoes and told me I couldn't go in. I mean come on I'm on vacation and we are in wynwood everyone is dressed super chill there so I don't understand what the problem was. The girl and the guy working the entrance were super rude to me and treated me as if I were dressed like a bum you which I wasn't. I will never go to this place again and don't recommend it to anyone anymore because it's ridiculous these rules they have all of a sudden and because they treated me so bad I will not return.

Bought a table here and our server was so sweet and cute so hell yeah for her and always tip your servers/bartenders!! but I paid for what I thought would be an actual table and bottle 800$ which ended up being something I could have got for free at another bar or 300$ less so if ur coming here DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A TABLE PLEASE!!! U can get this for free at any other bar if you don't include the bottle
