Intimate, artist-run venue championing experimental and independent music for 25 years. Beloved by musicians and locals alike, its nightly calendars prove Knoxville’s DIY scene is alive and evolving in the Old City.
The Pilot Light is one of the few remaining gems of performance spaces remaining in the southeast, or anywhere at this point. If you live in Knoxville or are just visiting, you haven’t completed your time here without visiting. It stands on its own as one of the best music venues in the country.

One of, if not the last independent venues in Knoxville. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and they always have some very talented musicians performing.

The Pilot Light has the most interesting and artistic musical guest in town! It is a little beer only bar, but the talent they bring in is amazing.

A great place to see an Indy, punk, metal, or whatever kind of show. Their venue is small but has great sound. Everybody is friendly and the beet is cold and cheap.
