One of, if not the last independent venues in Knoxville. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and they always have some very talented musicians performing.

Hole in the wall with interesting touring musicians and a good mix of local artists.

The Pilot Light has the most interesting and artistic musical guest in town! It is a little beer only bar, but the talent they bring in is amazing.

A great place to see an Indy, punk, metal, or whatever kind of show. Their venue is small but has great sound. Everybody is friendly and the beet is cold and cheap.

I spent $1000 for a VIP pass to the Big Ears Festival and traveled across the country to go there. Went to go to a show at the Pilot Light and the doorman, young African American guy with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, rudely said "we don't honor VIP here". "you're just like everybody else here". "Get to the back to the line!" The place is a complete dive and smells like stale beer and urine anyway. I'll be filing a lawsuit for false advertisement to get my money back for the tickets that "we don't honor here".
