Pilsberģu krogs, viesnīca un restorāns

Cosy hotel close to the sea with amazing late-night sunsets. Extremely good cuisine! Rooms were impeccable, except for it being too hot in the summer with no proper air conditioning

We stopped for lunch the on our way to Ventspils. We were surprised to find this very nice restaurant in this small village! Cannot say anything about hotel, but restaurant is worth of stopping 🥇😉

I visited this hotel during my solo motorcycle trip across Kurzeme. I was staying in the tent during this trip, but this one was exception and it was totally worth it. Very-very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very good planned - enough space for all my soft panniers and motorcycle clothes. The room and the hotel itself was very authentic in vary positive way. There was good bathroom which at first sight looked small, but with my height 190 cm it was very optimal at the end. Yes, there were only 5-6 TV programs, but who needs that when you have so spectacular seashore just in 5 minutes walk. I was able to park my motorcycle right under the windows. Very nice breakfast - I would suggest to take this as option as well.

Atmosphere awesome! Pork ribs, panna cotta- was delicious, pancakes with beef and soup wasn’t so good ☺️

On our trip through Latvia and Lithuania we had an overnight stay at Pilsbergu krogs, a wonderful old guesthouse at the Latvian coast. We had a nice room in the wooden old building, with a comfortable renovated bathroom. From Pilsbergu krogs it's only a few hundred meter walk to the beautiful beach at Jurkalne. And we enjoyed our breakfast in the traditional café/restaurant, also renovated in a very good way, with modern paintings on the wall. The service was great, very friendly staff. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to enjoy dinner here due to a public holiday in Latvia. And unfortunately our holidays were over. So, we have to come back to Jurkalne and stay for longer ... :-))) and enjoy the Baltic coast, and the forest around.

This is place is perfect. A beautiful garden, good food, breakfast as it should be, friendly people. Extraordinary rooms. Everything’s made with love for details.

Very nice, cozy and clean apartments. (Loved the shower) Location - superb. Seaside - wonderful. Restaurant has some minor flaws. But in it's own category - definitely 5*
