I enjoy coming here every Friday to have a few drinks at the bar. The bartenders are very polite and there's also a BBQ pop up that sets up here every Friday. Food is incredible!

Quite simply the best pub in town, best pint Guinness around, and you will be hard pressed to find a better pint in Texas. Family friendly, kid friendly, all the sport and TVs you need, no full kitchen but some light bites/pizza available. They also sometimes have rotating pop ups for food vendors. Great staff and owner.

Stopped in for steak night not knowing it was only served on Tuesday and Thursday. Seated ourselves and the waitress came right over. She was courteous and professional. Nice and casual, good for enjoying the game or just to relax and conversate. Had the orange blossom cocktail and it was really good! Not too sweet, just the right amount of fizz and it smelled amazing. Plan on returning to try the steak since it's so highly rated.

Went on Thursday Steak night, had the Prime Rib and it was phenomenal...Sat outside with friends and loved ones, enjoying fantastic conversation and music. Succulent meal.

Great Irish pub for everyone, including Irish expats in Houston. Shows all the 6 nations and Rugby World Cup games, as well as Premier League. Staff is very attentive. There's a great sense of community here!

I love this Pub. The space is well-run, and the service is exceptional. It always feels great coming here and the environment is always super friendly. Pimlico hosts fun events throughout the year and their beers are always poured just right. Happy to have this place in the neighborhood.

Our friends brought us here when we were visiting Houston because it's one of their old favorites and I can see why. Great Irish pub ambiance, and the most perfectly poured Guinness I've ever had outside of the Guinness HQ itself! Apologies to other patrons for all the ABBA we played on the TouchTunes jukebox.

Visited this little hot spot on a Thursday night. Really enjoy the Irish pub atmosphere, the crowd was a variety of ages and the drinks were on point. On Tuesdays and Thursdays there is a company that grills steaks, pork chops, lamb and makes mashed potato's. It looked and smelled delicious. Bring cash as that's the only payment the cook takes. We had already eaten a late lunch but will definitely be returning to try some of that food! Will update with the results!!

Pretty good Irish bar. Our experience was marred a bit by a patron who came in pretty trashed and kept following us around. We asked the bartender not to let him keep buying rounds and giving them to us to the point where we finally hid on the upstairs patio...too much.

Pim is a great pub. It is a great local or the perfect place to drop in as a stranger. The bartenders are friendly but not intrusive and competent. It is a great rugby or soccer, ok football pub as well.

Very solid Irish pub! Came here for the first time a month ago and now have been here a couple of times! Ambiance is chill, service is quick since not super packed when we go. There are darts and usually the Astros game is on!

I loved the Meat Mojo Steak Night! The food was absolutely delish and super well seasoned!! Love, love, loved the steak, served with smashed cheddar and jalapeño potatoes. The fresh pineapple was super tasty with the meal! Yesss and yummy. The bar was a quaint spot, with friendly and attentive servers. I would return for steak night and other days. Really tasty drinks and a comfy place to hang out!

Meat mojo is out here on a Thursday night! Always a favorite bar steak for me, added with great ambiance of the Irish pub, makes it a bigger hit. I normally ordered the famous rack of lambs that is always so ever tender, moist with pineapples and ninja sauce, but wanted to take it easy and enjoyed the boneless ribeye. Love the grilled marks perfectly cooked medium rare. Paired with mash potatoes and pasta salad, brings out the savory flavors. Meat mojo sauces are ever so addicted with its sweet, spicy, and tangyness that gives the steak a kick. The steak do take awhile to come out, but perfection is hard to rush

This is a fantastic Irish Pub. The service and range of drinks are great. It has the perfect atmosphere, the owner and his team know how to manage a good pub.

Steak night here on Tuesday is AMAZING. The drinks are priced well, parking is free, and the overall vibe is very friendly. I will definitely be back.

One bad ass Irish pub. Only here for St Patrick's day and the place was packed, drinks were flowing, a live band played, and met some nice people. The atmosphere is as friendly as the leprechaun with an efficient staff pumping out drinks. Didn't get to try their food but the menu looks delicious based on what I've seen. Look forward to a return trip here to check out the rest of the place.

I came here for an Olympic marathon watch party with a group and enjoyed my time here! The drink selection is great and the atmosphere is super laid back. The service is great. It's a nice place to bring a group of friends, but you wouldn't expect it to bring them to some bar in a strip mall! Don't overlook it though! Parking situation: on-site

Been at bar 2 hours. Two Guinness Pints. Average number of people. Friday after business crowd. 5..ish. Very much a bar with regulars. No one has said hello except bartenders and even they seldom check up. Definitely not a welcoming crowd if you're not cisgender.

This pub is in a great prime location! I stopped by for steak last night (Tuesday) for Mojo Steak Night. Mojo never disappoints which is a great addition to Pimlico. My server was quick on our drinks and efficient. Flavor was spot on when I asked her to freely mix me anything sweet. Great vibes and friendly pub!

I am giving a low-average rating to Pimlico and my whole rating is based on one less-than-great factor. I live in Louisiana and come to Houston for medical treatment. My absolute favorite Irish draft beer is Smithwicks and Pimlico has Smithwicks along with 12 other draft beers and Smithwicks sibling beers Harp and Guinness. If you don't know Smithwicks it is a dark Irish ale about 2/3 of the way from Harp to Guinness. All three beers are owned by the same company (Guinness Brewing). Anywhere I travel, I am looking for Smithwicks on tap. Pimlico has it on tap. However, Pimlico does not take care of their taps and beer lines. Any good bar should regularly wash out their beer lines with proper chemicals to clean out any build up of sourness or other substances that change and ruin the taste of the beer. I had two glasses of nicely poured Smithwicks within the past couple of days, and the beer tasted terrible. It was not the taste of Smithwicks and it was not good. It is clear that there was one of two possible problems. 1.) The keg had been tapped and had sat for weeks or months on tap and just wasn't being ordered and served. No wonder !!! or 2.) The beer lines had not been properly cleaned. There are several companies that sell beer line cleaner and it is a standard process of cleaning the lines. My bet is that the owner or bartenders just have not cleaned the beer lines in a very long time. Cleaning should be a regular process. In addition, the metal taps should be disassembled and thoroughly flushed with the same solution and the inner bore wire-brushed thoroughly with the same solution. I have my own keg cooler and my Smithwicks tastes great .... but I regularly wash the lines. My guess is that the Smithwicks tap was not their only beer forgotten and all the other lines were equally dirty but I ordered nothing else. Its a shame.... periodic cleaning is not optional, It is mandatory. I won't be back. GARY

What a great place. The owner, Kevin, is so hospitable. We were celebrating my husband's birthday & Kevin was happy to find a space inside accommodate a group of 9. Great selection at the bar & on tap. No, kitchen, but the pizza they had hit the spot as well.

Last night was our first time to try this place. We absolutely loved it! The staff is very friendly and attentive. There are lots of little alcoves to sit in to talk, watch the football game, sit outside upstairs and downstairs! Good prices on beer. Pub food available. Just an overall good experience. Will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!

I've only been here for the Monday night Trivia. There are eight rounds of questions of eight questions each including both visual and audio questions. Pretty difficult questions. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and they also had someone selling burgers outside on a Monday night. $8 gets you a burger and a bag of chips. I didn't try the burger so I can't tell you how good it is and whether or not it's cash only. They don't serve food. I came hungry not knowing this and left hungry. So come here for drinks and come here for the trivia.

I have visited this bar on 2 occasions recently to participate in their Tuesday Trivia Night. Both times I had a good time. I haven't been able to eat any of their food here due to the kitchen being closed for remodeling I believe. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The small parking lot in front is limited so street parking is very likely if you come here. I like the interior decor and bar and table service for drinks have been A-OK. I will update this review if I get to sample the food here.

Looked like a cool place, I walked in with a group of friends for steak night but unfortunately nobody showed up to help us around about 10 minutes, not even a "we'll be with you guys shortly" or anything.

Pretty traditional American Irish bar that's run by a super sweet and Firefly Irish man. Typical, easy going bar with wine and beer and spirits. Nothing fancy.

This is the most authentic pub I have found in Houston. It's a pub, it doesn't have a 13 page menu, it has half a dozen potato chip choices. It does some cocktails but mostly it does great Guinness and has an impressive liquor collection. Staff know their regulars and remember their orders, they have darts and a jukebox you can control from your cellphone.

Loved it! Went to watch the Astros play with a group of friends. The bar wasn't too packed so it was nice to sit back and enjoy our company. They don't serve food but allow you to go and bring other food from other places in, which is nice. The staff was friendly and attentive. And the drinks were cheap! Win win win!

I've been coming to the Pimlico for a little over a year now. Kevin, the owner is about the nicest guy you could ever want to meet. The pub pours Guinness the right way and in my opinion is the best pint in Houston. This place is my go-to for an Irish pub in Houston. If you happen to be a Tottenham Hotspur supporter, this is their official pub for matches in Houston.

Live life long enough and a few things start to become self evident. 1. TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM TREAT YOU & YOU WILL BE HAPPIER FOR IT IN THE LONG RUN 2. A POSITIVE ATTITUDE GOES A LONG WAY 3. WINE MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER {OK, maybe not that last one for some ~giggles} But seriously, I must explain the reason for this updated review in a way which should open the eyes of CURRENT service/industry folks from a former service/industry person. Your efforts, when actually put forth, goes such a long way. A glance and a genuine, "I'll be right with you" is important to most people. Not, I'M BUSY RIGHT NOW, GIMME A SEC, and then you go chit chat it up with your friends - ((CUST SVC FAIL)) - I digress... I love this bar for sooooo many reasons - Location is awesome, the jukebox, the super selection of wines and beers, the nights there's food rocks So Hard, the patio is uber sexy, it's clean and well run....omg, my fave place to refer people to when they're just in town for work and yes! I have met really interesting and brilliant people here over the last couple years. Although I don't frequent often, I'd like to continue to patronize for a very long time. That actually matters to me the most...a long time neighbor rather than a regular drop-in only until the next place lures you in. Not my style. Be well... See you later Pim. I was going to give 3 stars because it's not really a memorable bar and it's confusing where it begins and where it ends but they do have free parking which I always appreciate and you're close to the bayou trails so if you're going for a walk and want to stop by for a drink when the weather is nice, it's not bad. I also love their ginger beer thing (Russian something) with the copper cup. I think it would help them to kind of define where one can walk with the alcohol and where one can't because it's confusing and the owner seems a bit jumpy and freaks out if he sees someone going a few feet away from the door. I'm not sure what the TABC rules are, but apparently his sidewalk is ok as he has chairs, but the other side of the sidewalk is not ok because there are no chairs, but it still is in front of the bar. Maybe put a velvet rope to define the space. Has to be velvet.

I'm not going to give a bad review to a pub where it's home to the Houston Spurs (Tottenham Hotspur supporters group). It's a small pub with a upstairs and downstairs patio. Nice bar with a darts in the back area. There are ample amount of TVs to watch the game. Parking can be tricky. Sometimes you can park at the Jack in the Box next door. Good services. Doesn't have much in the way of food. There is pizza or sandwiches available. Great service from the bartenders.

The good folks at The New Potato told me about this place when I was leaving their Happy Hour in search of a steak night. They did not steer me wrong. The bar staff here is attentive and the service is great. My go-to for a Tuesday night definitely.

Great Irish pub to grab a pint after a rough workday. Great atmosphere and location. Left a star off because it has a very minimal food menu. I showed up (and left) hungry.

True Irish Pub! Fabulous Whiskey selection(one pf the best I've ever seen in Houston). The place is posh and comfy. Friendly and prompt bartenders. Great music at just the right volume. Great patio with downstairs and upstairs seating(where you can catch a nice breeze), not to mention cushioned chairs! Check out their Steak Night on Tuesday nights which has so much more going on than just steak and is FANTASTIC. Oh! And I'm pretty sure they have the best ladies bathroom in town. I love this place!

If you're a fan of lamp chops then you really really need to come here on Tuesday! They have the guys from Meat Mojo that comes out there on Tuesdays to grill the best of the best chops ever. I still think about how good it was at night. So definitely come drink and enjoy the food.

Never in my life had I EVER gone to a place where I was absolutely disrespected! My best friend came into town, and we wanted to try Pimlico's steak night. At first we felt welcomed and customer service was nice. We ordered beverages and also a shot. I didn't care for the shot nor did I drink it. After dinner, I asked the bartender if she could remove the shot from the tab. She kept going back and forth with me and always had something to say. She finally removed the shot and complained how she had to eat up the $5 cost. Although she might have thought her tone was in a calmly manner, she would not shut her mouth and continued to argue with a customer. I finally asked her for the manager's name and contact number. She quickly said Kevin and wrote down his information but refused to say her name. At this point I'm shocked and heated. I immediately contacted their manager Kevin after we exit the restaurant. As I am leaving a voicemail message, the bartender came out and told us to leave the property. She also threatened to call the cops. I was still on the phone leaving a voicemail and in the the background you could hear all the commotion. There were a few customers who witnessed this drama. We waited for our Uber outside in the cold. While waiting, we sat on these stools that were outside of the restaurant. The same bartender came out again and threatened to call the cops. I told her to do it. We weren't doing anything wrong. We were waiting for our Uber and minding our own business. She demanded I would get off the stool. I told her "NO". She repeatedly told me to get off and then she grabbed the stool to pushed me off. Things just started to escalate. I told my friend to start recording because I already had enough of how unprofessional and poorly we were treated. The man who cooks all the steaks already informed me he was staying out of the situation. However, the cook and a waitress instigated the scene which had nothing to do with them. I have clips of all three of the employees' behaviors were towards me. Although their steak specials were $20 per a person, I was charged $60 for the price of 2. I didn't care or complained about the extra charges. The steaks were impressively tasty and still had my money's worth. However, it's definitely not worth $60 to get mistreated. This sort of behavior was low class and extremely disappointed. People like that should not work in the restaurant industry. I was a waitress and never in my life have I ever treated anyone like that. It's unsure if the bartender gave me the correct manager's phone number. No one has yet to reach out about this issue.For a grown man to instantly say he would stay out of it, surely egged it on. He told us to never come back and gladly we won't!

Awesome place! Laid back. Great selection of beers. Lots of tables inside and out, TV and dart boards. Dog friendly. Great parking as well.

I enjoyed this Irish pub! Nice atmosphere inside and out. There is a jukebox inside that you can control with an app on your phone. Friendly and attentive wait staff. As far as food goes, there is not a huge selection and I don't believe they always serve food. I have had the chicken curry and the Guinness beef stew. Both were delicious and reasonably priced! Great place to enjoy a Guinness!

Got a few beers. Asked the bartender for a food menu. He replied "we don't have food on Wednesday's" Ummmmmmm. ?

Stopped by this place because of the high reviews. Its a new place so it looks great. Nice outdoor area and an upstairs section for chillin. Got the feeling its a bar for regulars and I was disappointed with the lack of craft beer. Service was average. Detected a slight attitude from one of the staff. If people are blown away by the service they must be going to some pretty crappy places. Overall I was not impressed and felt either Yelpers are helping their friends or they got this one wrong. If you are in the area.... well there are better places to go. I wont go back.

Nice little pub in this area. Music: I came on a Wed that is advertised as 80s/ladies night. If you like 80s music and think you'll be listening to a steady stream of classics and loud enough for you to want to shimmy, think again. Not asking for blaring music, but it just wasn't loud enough. FYI additonally they do have one of those touch tones juke boxes and it takes plastic. Drinks: they do have a cocktail menu (for those who enjoy something different) which is a plus, and during the happy hour drinks are good, strong, and cheap.
