Do you want to see a GIANT insect made out of car parts spray fire out of its head!? Then look no further. This IS the place! Tacos are pretty damn good. Staff is super nice. Coke’s are huge. Enjoy.

Google
So I am keeping my reviews short, those of you that follow me I apologize. This place is really good, as you know I love fish tacos and I was not disappointed at all and the carne asada was equally as delicious hear it...

Google
Pinches is a small hole in the wall spot with made tp order mexican food. Everything is fresh and the service is spot on. I enjoyed the asada nachos and an agua Fresca. The asada was tender but not heavily seasoned. The green sauce was delicious and made it pop. The guacamole was also spot on. And you can't go wrong with a refreshing drink. My friend highly recommends the queso birrira tacos. The quality and value can't be beat for this area.

Google
Delicious food and really nice staff! The quesabirria (pictured) was one of my favorites! I also really loved how creamy the flan was ♡

Google
Great tacos and sopes. Hand made tortillas were excellent. Friendly staff. Highly recommend

Visited six years ago and food still a hit. It's a bit overpriced, but it's sitting in a trendy strip mall, so I imagine the rent is really high. we had trouble finding it because they don't have their name advertised, just a picture of a skeleton with a beer, probably because the name translates to "effiin tacos." none the less, the food was great. The place was small so we ate outside. We enjoyed the view of Container Park. Well worth the visit. Highly recommend the fries.

Google
Nice taco shop to visit at container park! The tortilla is freshly made in front of you! I love the seasoning of the meat. It was flavorful, spicy, and tasty. Although it was a little salty, but it became a good match with the tortilla. The customer service was great. They borrowed me a towel to wipe down the chairs outside without giving me a hard time. I really appreciate them.

Google
We really enjoyed this restaurant, fantastic mole and fresh chips, and salsa. If you are vegetarian or vegan there are also a number of good food options. What makes it particularly nice is its location in Container Park, our toddler was able to play in the park as we ate. We will return!

Wendy B.

Yelp
Authentic and delicious. Everything piping hot and fresh. Enchiladas were just spicy enough. Vegan options too. Container Park venue was added bonus.

Yelp
The food was amazing! The service was great! I haven't had Mexican food that good in years. It was wonderful

Victoria M.

Yelp
Was in Vegas and decided we wanted tacos so of course we got pinches tacos again As usual everything was delicious customer service was awesome

Amber L.

Yelp
Sign in front reads Real Mexican food by Real Mexicans. I don't know what kind of Mexican would serve enchiladas in such a manner. The tortillas were heated up on a comal rolled up and drizzled with some nasty tasting marinara sauce. The Birria was UNACCEPTABLE and the comsumé was completely tasteless. I have to say as a proud Mexican myself I was embarrassed. My friend asked for red salsa and was handed a cup of the liquid from the store bought pico. DO BETTER!

John B.

Yelp
I've actually eaten at all 3 locations over the years and I would say it's ok at best. Today I ate at the downtown location and it was just bad. Zero flavor on anything. Salsa is a basic. When the salsa is bland with zero heat, you know something is wrong. I think they take the location for granted. Maybe tourists don't know any better.

Angel K.

Yelp
I think Pinches Tacos is a very average Mexican restaurant. They have a pretty large menu and added Birria when it got popular. The food is very simple, not too crazy on flavors, not heavily salted or seasoned. I believe they make their tortillas in house by hand. They also offer beer and alcohol and agua frescas. I've had tacos here and quesadillas and I think they're okay but I'd only go here if I'm in container park. I wouldn't go out of my way or recommended it. It's not bad, it's just above average. The salsas also don't have much flavor. I believe they use high quality ingredients and simple recipes but it just doesn't hit for me personally.

Yelp
Went here for lunch. Had the chicken taquitos which were absolutely delicious! My husband got three tacos all with different proteins (chicken mole, steak, and something else, I forget!). He liked them all, but I think he was a little envious of my taquitos which, as I have already said, were delicious. I would definitely return just for them!

Tristin R.

Yelp
Food was fantastic I had the Javi bowl my husband had the littleestiiffy and we shared a margarita it was a great evening meal!! Thank you for the kind service and again ambiance perfect with the food!!

Bryce L.

Yelp
This is located in the container park near downtown Las Vegas. The food here is really good. I've had the tacos as well as a torta and they were both delicious. My issue with this location is that everything is so expensive. It's about $5 for one taco, and the torta I had was around $17! Tortas at nearly any other place cost between $7-10, so it was crazy that these cost double. Overall good food, but I won't be going here again due to the price, especially since there are a lot of lower cost options in the same area.

Yelp
We were looking for a late night Mexican restaurant and found Pinches Tacos inside Container Park. The restaurant was small as it was created inside of a seacan container, but we were able to grab a table inside after ordering. I got the Pollo burrito and Asada fries. I asked foe both without cilantro. They were hot and fresh and super flavorful. The fries were huge, and I couldn't eat them all, even though I wanted to. My friends ordered a few items. They said the beans were amazing but their Gringo tacos were not. Overall, they enjoyed their meal.

Yelp
I can say it was sooooo great!! Visiting Vegas and went to the container Park. Could smell the food as soon as we walked in. Service was great. People were really nice. Price a little high but I will definitely go back.

Basilio M.

Yelp
Friendly service, clean flavors in the food. Absolutely delicious. Finally the Street Corn off the cob. They get me. It's a good spot for something simple and light that is in situated in a unique park in town. Good break from the Fremont experience. Sometimes you just want to sit and enjoy a small bite and listen to a song watching a giant steel Mantis spit hot fire on a chilly and windy night. Checkem out!!

Valerie A.

Yelp
We went to visit the downtown container park on Fremont and found this taco gem to try for lunch. I had the taco plate and my husband had shrimp enchiladas. There is ample seating outside and upstairs on the rooftop. Didn't realize there was upstairs seating at first. Food was delicious! They have a small selection of beer and drinks. The inside is small With a few tables and chairs, keep in mind it's the size of a shipping container footprint. Still a fun concept. Menu is pretty decent with lots of options.

Yelp
Decided to try this taco joint because it was the closest taco shop I could find near me in DTLV. What stood out to me was the carne asada steak tacos but my third choice which was the chicken taco tasted so bad I didn't eat it. I had ordered just 3 tacos but somehow wound up with an entire platter of rice, beans and chips. And I'm pretty sure I was charged for it because my bill came to over $51.00 For the amount and quality of food I received I gotta say $51 is not worth it. I think at the most a 3 taco platter which includes 2 very small sides should've been at most $30 and 2 drinks at the most maybe max $10 which totals $40. Another reason why this taco joint gets only 2 starts is the complete lack of customer service. As soon as my friend and I start to place our order with the cashier we are met with a complete unenthusiastic at the register who looked upset with literally zero people skills. I don't understand this at all-- we don't take it personal, we just don't understand. If you think about this for a second, it's customers that make your business or else you wouldn't have a business to run. Also the lack of friendliness didn't just stop with the cashier, there was another young girl who was bringing the food out and she also looked like she was miserable. I'm not sure if the boss is riding the employees into the ground but the entire vibe of this joint is just bad for business. Anyone who knows business knows that it's not just about good tasting food but you also need good people skills or else your not going to last-- especially in Vegas. And other thing that wasn't that bad but worth the mention, seating was hard to find on the first level of the restaurant. So we made our way upstairs which made things more difficult for the person running our food to us. I would've loved to have given this joint at least 3 stars but it's just not there and I'm not sure if it'll ever get there. My recommendation is to skip this place altogether because there are other places that have better food and service-- such as Roberto's Taco Shop on Charleston & Maryland. Sorry Piches Tacos but it's an absolute no for now.

Lady C.

Yelp
I love Tacos! Heard about this place from a friend and kind of was disappointed. Was kind of bland and not really seasoned meat. Have three different kinds and did not leave with a favorite. Maybe will have to try this place again and order something different. But for now I'll still to other places. The margarita was strong and tasty.

Galadriel H.

Yelp
I can't say enough about this place. Came here in 2018 and really enjoyed their tacos. Came back again in 2024 and the flavor profiles blew my mind. You can not leave Vegas without trying their chicken mole tacos. I live in California and have tried a lot of chicken mole. This place is without a doubt in my top 5 best mole. AND.... they make their own tortillas. It's a must try and just a block away from Fremont Experience

Jocelyn B.

Yelp
Love going to mom and pop places instead of big corporate restaurants. Met some friends for lunch for taco Tuesday. Place was clean and quaint. Ordered (2) carnitas tacos either rice and beans. Nothing but good things to say - the corn tortillas were freshly made and very good. Will definitely come back and try other things from their menu.

Rita N G.

Yelp
A surprising good taco! The tortillas are homemade! We tried the pollo al pastor, asada and lengua. The asada was juicy and perfectly cooked. The lengua was melt in your mouth tender. The pollo al pastor had amazing flavor. Don't sleep on this place!PINCHES TACOS!!!!!!

Cherish R.

Yelp
The food was amazing ! Today for Mother's Day , for mothers they had free mimosas blood orange/mango/guava . We all tried different ones all excellent . They had a d.j, in bar area . There were 7 of us we had a variety of different food . We did brunch Egg white fajita meal great , Lengua tacos , breakfast burrito , quesadillas . Lots of fun & ok service , the waitress was young busy & just nondescript .

Micky Z.

Yelp
Yummy Mexican chill inside the Container Park. I love their vegetarian tacos. Kind of a satellite location compared to the one on Russell. Bring your date or bring your kids. Something nearby for everyone.

Joey V.

Yelp
Overpriced. Came here on a Saturday night and was not too busy. My gf and I wanted to get a snack and found this place thru Yelp at the container location. We just ordered 2 tacos,1 regular fries and a bottle water and the total came up to be 19 dollars. The asada and Al pastor tacos were decent at best. We have recently moved here from the bay so it may be difficult to find a comparable place when we haven't been to too many taco places here in Vegas. Overall, I wouldn't come here again.

John K.

Yelp
Improve everything. Worst tacos I've ever had in Las Vegas. Low grade chicken and STALE tortillas. Indifferent service to boot. So many better choices in the area. Move on to any other taco stand. YAK.

Mitzi A.

Yelp
We stumbled here after midnight. We were down in Fremont .We wanted food. They were one of the only shops opened . Everything else seemed to be closed. We had the frijolero tacos. Which is beans with cheese and I added avocado. They have the best esquites. This place is definitely worth the time. The decor is so authentic.

Leslie M.

Yelp
If you love Mexican food, then this is the place for you!! I frequent their St. Rose location since it's closer to where I live but found myself in downtown one day and decided to stop in. I would highly recommend their gringa or gringo tacos and blood orange margaritas!! These two always hits the spot! This location is inside Container Park, such a cool vibe and a great place to hang out in the downtown area.

Lady Esmeralda Q.

Yelp
Overpriced, and long waits. It's a small little restaurant. They try but nothing special. The Michelada was good the orchata was ok. The food itself was nothing special. The carne asada fries not so good too much seasoning and the fries were not the best. I wouldn't come back to this place

Makayla B.

Yelp
i dont know who was working on 5/25/2024 at around 12pm, but i know it was a heavier set female with eyebrows the size of my pinky, but me and boyfriend told her we wanted 2 orders of carne Asada fries and she even repeated it back to us and we said yes and my boyfriend ordered a drink. Once we got our order it was only 1 order of carne asada fries. How are you going to repeat my order back to me and then not even put the order in correctly! my boyfriend noticed how upset and mad i was he didnt even eat he gave me the food! and while taking our order after we told her we wanted 2 fries she was even laughing at what her coworker said so im pretty sure she got distracted and fucked up the whole order alone. love the food. but the service and the employees listening services fucking suck!

Sam L.

Yelp
Went here in the afternoon sometime. Parking is a pain and you have to pay. We waited forever in line. They only had one register and only one guy cooking the food. They have margaritas in case your interested lol. The food took a long time to come out too. It was good but nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
This place is a GEM! 10/10 I will be coming here again. I love that they have so many vegan options, AND lots of meat options for my family and friends. I could not decide what to get because I wanted it all. I ended up with a pinche vegan taco (marinated fajita veggies), Mexican corn in a cup, and the vegan tortilla soup. All of it was fantastic but the soup is something I will be dreaming about for weeks to come. You can also add chicken to it if you're into that. My mom and grandma got the shredded beef hard shell taco and beans and rice, and they loved it all. The beans and rice are phenomenal as well. You must stop here if you're in Vegas!

Amanda G.

Yelp
I loved this place. I was apprehensive with their Yelp rating but ignore it, this was good! I was having trouble finding a place who made their tortillas fresh and that's how I originally found Pinches. Everything was so flavorful, margarita was one do the best, and the tortilla soup was unexpectedly flavorful! It was like a Bloody Mary in soup form which is a plus for me. The pollo al pastor and al pastor were my favorite!

Louise C.

Yelp
A great place with great people working here. Food was AMAZING. I especially enjoyed their adobada taco and the street corn.

Swatee G.

Yelp
So underwhelmed with our experience here, even though we had been excited to come here after reading all the reviews. All tacos are close to $4 per, which in my mind was a little outrageous for the food we received. Ragz had the pollo mole and the pescado. He liked the pollo and was okay with the pescado. I found the pescado to be lacking in any flavor, unfortunately. I even tried to lime squeeze on it, but it needed a kick of real flavor to it. The veggie was probably the most underwhelming. The veggies were in large chunks and the whole taco felt very heavy handed. There was a large glob of weird tasting guac on top of my taco, which made the whole experience soggy, messy and just mushy. The agua fresca was also underwhelming (sad, because we had excellent agua frescas everywhere we went in Nevada). We got the pina, which tasted very artificial in taste and vert strong too. Overall, I am not able to recommend this spot at this time.

Paloma B.

Yelp
I do not recommend. The mole was grainy and had zero flavor. The tacos al pastor had a raw texture and no flavor. The asada sope was fried to almost churro status. The shrimp burrito looks good but has zero flavor as well. The water fountain had a hair hanging from it. Not coming back.

Jered W.

Yelp
Fresh, delicious and a steal during happy hour. Thank you for a tasty Lunch and great customer service. Also super quick bringing me my tacos!

Casandra S.

Yelp
Customer service 0/5- At arriving i was greeted with a ladie at the register on her cell phone i was standing there for a good minute until she acknowledge us. I greeted her & she proceeded to take our order with such a snarky attitude, muy repunante y enojona. She got the order completely inaccurate, i looked at the receipt and saw she charged me for 3 combos. I pointed it out and through the entire refund transaction she kept making snarky remarks under her breathe ????? completely unprofessional. food was mid

Sarai M.

Yelp
Really friendly and very authentic food! LOOOOVEEEE ITTT! Location is great! Utensils could be offered more of be out for customers to grab, but we know customers usually take advantage of that option !

Kevin D.

Yelp
During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are helpful and kind. I order the nopal en la frente and el frijolero tacos which are tasty somewhat filling bites (especially decent for a quick bite to be full while walking around Container Park, I'm full for a few hours). The eatery has tasty drink options like Hibiscus Tea and Pineapple Juice (which I taste though I get a water with a lemon slice). The establishment takes different forms of payment. Lively vibes!

Sunny L.

Yelp
It's a decent place to come to. The staff are pretty friendly and the isn't busy late night. Food could be better. The portions are small for the price. For being the only ones in line, the food came out in an okay time. Pros: decent Cons: food could be better

Cynthia L.

Yelp
Located inside Container Park. We only ate here for a quick dinner as a last resort. Tacos were on the pricier side and it was just a sad looking taco. Ordered two carne asada ($3.95 each) with everything on it (that should include salsa, onions and cilantro) while my boyfriend ordered two al pastor tacos ($3.30 each), also requested everything to be on it. When the tacos were delivered, it was plain....just meat. So I kindly asked the lady who brought the tacos to us if we can have some onions & cilantro. There must have been a language barrier because we waited for about 5-7 minutes and I never saw her come back. So I went in and asked for onions and cilantro. The two ladies spoke to each other and one only came back with onions. Alright...better than nothing I guess. But I definitely would NOT come out of my way for Pinches Tacos. You're better off with Tacos El Gordo or there's a taco truck close by. These tacos are flavorless AND at almost $4.00 each....thank you, next!

Stephy R.

Yelp
A little overpriced but I understand given the location. The food was really good, authentic Mexican food. Their orange margarita is to DIE for.

Megan B.

Yelp
The food is way over price the meat taste disgusting I was not impressed if you want a real Mexican food stick to Roberto's and the customer service was terrible

Lorie P.

Yelp
Got the taco asada. It came with cilantro, green salsa & onions. I don't do onions. The taco was $5 and delicious. Nice menu. I watched them make the tortillas as they made the order. Highly recommend. Located inside Container Park.

Christie H.

Yelp
We only got a couple of appetizer items but they were both delicious. Very authentic Mexican food. I got the chips, salsa, and queso. The salsa is almost a pico de gallo and not very hot so it was perfect for me. You may want to ask for hot sauce or something similar to add to it if you like heat. We also had the street corn and it was also very good. It's different than I'm used to in Texas but was still delicious. After I ordered I noticed they had vegan items available which I would have tried but didn't need any more food. (Im a vegetarian so the corn and guacamole worked well for me, but the items listed were truly vegan. I noticed they had cactus on many of their vegan items.)

Virginia M.

Yelp
I had the nopal taco and the pollo mole taco. Both were outstanding! The nopal taco was crisp and refreshing, with a touch of acid. The pollo mole was rich, full-bodied, and unctuous with a bit of heat. Interestingly, my favorite bites were the filings combined that fell out of each taco. Yummy!!!

Alexis B.

Yelp
I saw Pinches Tacos while visiting the container park once before and said I had to go back and try their food. I love the name and get a kick out of the fact they have menu items named "gringo". It's cute. First thing I noticed was the decor. It's a smaller place but they have patio dining which I can imagine is amazing when they have music going in the container park and most of the place isn't shut down due to Covid. There are only a few small tables inside and it's actually painted to look worn down with cute skeletons on on the wall. Again super cute. I ordered the Pinche combo plate and got 3 different tacos. The asada, pollo and al pastor. It came with beans, rice and some tortilla chips. I also tried their street corn. I wanted to try one of their orange margaritas but unfortunately I was driving home. The wait was a little long. There was only one person in front of me but it seemed to take a while to get my food. While waiting I took pictures and looked at their other menu items. They do have some interesting items. Unfortunately I have to say for all the hype the tacos weren't amazing. I've heard people hype up Pinches Tacos but maybe it's for other menu items. I'm not sure. The meat was asada was kind of rough and the chicken tacos lacked flavor. They were rather bland. Out of the tacos the best was the best was the al pastor. The street corn however was really good. If I did return to Pinches Tacos it would be more for the atmosphere and the street corn than the tacos I think. Might give them another chance and try ordering something different.

Ruth Y.

Yelp
So greasy that it drips oil as you pick it up. The flavor was ok. Overpriced for what you get.

Crystal H.

Yelp
The container park is awesome. We went late at night, pinches tacos was the only restaurant open. Once I saw the menu, I knew it was authentic. The carbs asada tacos were great. Chips and queso dip were perfect. Street corn could've been a little better, or made with fresh corn. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Real refried beans were amazing!!!! Super tiny inside, but it is in a container. If it was a bit warmer outside, the entire park has cute seating areas all over.

Christina R.

Yelp
I've eaten here before but never made a review. On this occasion, we didn't eat we just ordered margaritas. I like the food here. The menu is kind of large and makes your head hurt a little but if you go in with an idea of what you want, you'll be fine. I've had tacos and nachos here in the past. Very good. They're a little pricey but I think a lot of things at the Container Park are kind of pricey. I feel like all the places charge a lot. The margaritas were ok. Very strong but also very sweet. I felt like I needed way more ice to weaken it a little. Next time I know to ask for an extra cup of ice on the side.

Katy T.

Yelp
Stopped by Container Park with my hubby to end our date day. It was pretty dead and I always crave tacos so I thought I'd check this place out. We had been once years ago! Highlights: margarita with the spicy rim was delicious and not too sugary compared to other mixes. The carne asada was juicy and well cooked! The portioning was enough to build more tacos! Awesome and friendly service as well! Opportunities: our carne asada tasted like fish as if they didn't clean the grill. The more we ate, the more pungent the fish taste became so all in all we ate maybe half the meal total. The tortillas also had a weird texture like they were corn/flour hybrids. They seemed chewy and not what I'd expect for a street taco. The meal was decent considering the park is pretty quiet, but it was sadly overpriced at $28 for a 3 taco combo meal, margarita, and a water bottle.

Steff A.

Yelp
Located in Container Park, it's the Mexican food option if you have hang out in the Park... Service: They have some friendly people working the counter and the grill. They bring your order out to you if you're sitting outside which you most likely will as the seating inside is limited. They do get the food out in a timely manner which I appreciate. Food: The 3 taco plates comes to you served on a 3 section styrofoam plate along with rice, beans and some tortilla chips. The tacos were made with fresh ingredients but unfortunately tasted very bland and lacked flavor. The beans and rice quality was something you can purchase at your local grocery store. I think they can do better. The blood orange margarita was decent and and served in a plastic cup out of a soft drink machine dispenser. I thought they got my drink order wrong and I was served an orange soda, but all was well. Value: The 3 Taco plate was about $10 and the Blood Orange Margarita was $8. I understand there's a premium for the location but the quality of food is lacking even for the premium location. I like sitting outside in Container Park on a nice days with the crew and would love nothing more than to enjoy that time with good Mexican food. I'm going to give them another chance because the staff is great and I'll hit up the nachos or burritos next time. Update coming sooner versus later as I love Container Park and the Downtown area.
