My wife and I have eaten takeout from Pincho twice in the last few weeks, and I'd say the quality of the food, in regard to freshness, is average at best.
First, the people working there are always friendly and have provided great service during my brief interactions with them. The space itself is fine, has a typical and current burger joint vibe for aesthetics - seems always clean and tidy.
Regarding the food: I've ordered the Pincho Dog twice, a Smash Burger, the Smashdilla, and Queso Frita. My wife has ordered a couple different bowls each time.
The Pincho Dog is OK, not great but not terrible. However, I've experienced a somewhat stale bun during one of my visits, which easily ruins a hot dog.
The Smashdilla was drenched in grease - fine for grease lovers, not what I was expecting. Though I know photos used advertising an item never reflect reality, the tortilla was so drenched that it made the tortilla visibly darker. It was also rather flavorless.
The Smash Burger was also accompanied by bread starting to go stale, and the meat was flavorless and chewy.
The Queso Frita was probably the most disappointing item I've ordered from Pincho. Hard to put my finger on it, but it feels like the batch we received had been sitting out all day - felt like I was chewing into tofu after a couple of bites.
Giving the three stars for the food my wife ordered. She ordered a protein bowl and another bowl, I can't remember which, and enjoyed them both.
Considering I haven't tried a Kebab from Pincho, that may be the go to choice when visiting as the same meat was used in the bowls my wife ordered. I won't be ordering a burger or hot dog from here again.
