The Best Bars and Restaurants for Drinking Wine in Las Vegas

"As the first winery to open within the City of Las Vegas, the Pine Hollow winemaking facility and tasting room are decidedly fabulous, but not fancy. The small tasting room hosts tastings in which you can sample six or eight of the winery’s hand-crafted small-batch wines. The wines are inventive and fun — there’s the Warm Fuzzy, a chardonnay with peach and apricot and Peppermint Dreams, a merlot with hints of chocolate and peppermint. A white Zinfandel and Cabernet Franc are both set to be released in 2025." - Jen Avison Smith

Pine Hollow Winery plans to open westside tasting room - Eater Vegas

"Specializing in fruit wines, the proposed winery and tasting room will move into a 1,465-square-foot corner space at the Fiesta Square retail center, already home to Yaw Farm Coffee Roaster at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Antelope Way and across the street from The Hush Puppy Restaurant. Relocating from leafy Trafford, Pennsylvania, Pine Hollow Winery will create each small batch on site, crushing the fruits, fermenting, filtering, and labeling each bottle by hand. The front of the store will host the tasting room and sales area." - Bradley Martin

My wife and I recently visited Pine Hollow Winery, a charming local spot in Las Vegas, and it was an unforgettable experience. Owners John and Barb welcomed us warmly, making this cozy winery, tucked in a business complex corner, feel like home. We opted for the eight-wine tasting to explore their diverse selection, and we were blown away. Each wine had a playful name and delivered exactly what its description promised. Aromas of orange, pear, apple, and cinnamon filled the air, and each sip introduced bold, unique flavors unlike any wine we’ve tasted before. These fruit-forward wines were fun, refreshing, and perfect for a hot Las Vegas day, with year-round selections to suit any palate. What truly sets Pine Hollow apart is its commitment to locals. John and Barb built this winery as a haven away from the Strip, giving Las Vegas residents a special place to unwind. Their passion and hospitality made us feel like family. We enjoyed great conversation and left with a deep appreciation for their mission. Pine Hollow Winery is now our go-to spot, and we plan to visit monthly to enjoy the wines and catch up with John and Barb. If you’re a local looking for something new or a visitor wanting a unique experience, this winery is a must. Support this gem of a business; you won’t be disappointed! And on a side note: If you're looking for a bit of an adventure and you like spicy food at the end of your wine tasting, make sure to get the Hot Stuff wine. I did not expect that to kick me that hard! Even if you sip it, it's a nice burn, but it does eventually go away. What a unique wine!

My husband surprised me with wine tasting & we were not disappointed. The owners were so friendly and the wine was great. Niagra was our favorite. The owners are so friendly and the place has a welcoming, cozy vibe. We will be back. Thanks again!

What a great little gem in Las Vegas! Who would have ever thought of a winery in Vegas? Located in a small strip mall, this place is awesome and the wine selections are unique. The "Toasted Coffee" for example has a hint of roasted coffee and chocolate. It was a great choice! Something different in keeping with the Las Vegas vibe! "Hot Stuff" takes the Lake Erie and Niagra wine exoeriences for those who have been to wineries in those regions to a whole new level merging it with a chile pepper from Thailand. Definitely wine with a kick! John and Barb are great and they take time to explain in detail the history of each wine. There is a definite "one of a kind" craftsmanship that goes in the making of their wines. A "must" recommendation for locals and for guests and visitors coming to Vegas. This place makes it well worth venturing outside of the Strip or Fremont Street to experience something different in Vegas, even if involves hopping on a rideshare from where ever you are staying in the city. Visiting a winery in Vegas, how cool is that?

Google
This is a great hidden gem. Wines are on the sweeter less acidic side, which I like, and they have incredibly unique flavor combos. Barb was a great help in selecting wines to fit our tastes, and both her and her husband made the experience fun and memorable.

This place is awesome! Did a wine tasting here for an event! The wine tasting was awesome! Three different ones. After Midnight, Niagara, and Toasted Joe. Which we got to guess at at first. Niagara was my favorite it was so good! You must try this one when you go! Also the chocolate peanut butter balls from Sugar and Spice were amazing and great to pair with the wine! Toasted Joe tastes like chocolate and coffee, so if you are a chocolate and coffee fan, this one’s for you. They also have a deal where you can taste different wines via flight purchases. $10 gets you 6 1-ounce samples and oyster crackers, $18 gets you 8 1-ounce samples and oyster crackers, dark chocolate, and a Pine Hollow winery stemless glass or a car keychain as a souvenir. They even have a deal where you can add a personal charcuterie box and a knowledgeable wine guide to help you with your wine tasting. Military ID and veterans get 10% off. The winery looks so cute as well on the inside and the owners are so nice!! So much cute merchandise you can buy and they are part of the Passport program where you get a stamp when you go to all the wineries pretty much in Nevada. The place is in the corner of the building so park towards there if you can. What a great find off of Charleston! I can’t wait to go back again!

Google
Nice little gem of a find, with marine John ready to greet you and discuss passionately about his process to creating award winning, sweet, hot weather drinking wines. Enjoyed the flight as it opened up discussion and after decided to get 6 bottles of our favourite to take home, felt nice to support local business too.

Just left this spot. Let me tell ya, great vibes, owners are nice and pleasant to talk to. Oh and the wines are great. The peach tea winner was very good. Thank you see ya next time.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! Located off strip in a shopping center, I was surprised to find how big the venue is! On Friday night, it's Happy Hour from 6-8 pm - all glasses of wine are $5.00. This place had a huge variety of wines... not your traditional, everyday wine. I had a pear wine, and a strawberry wine , both were delicious! They were definitely on the sweeter side which is what I prefer. We also tried the blackberry zinger and the naughty noiret, again both were a bit sweet and found them to be delicious! The owners served us and took time to tell us about the wines and the winery, they were extremely personable and very friendly. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place if you're looking for something different to try in Vegas!

Yelp
Well, let me tell you about this place called Pine Hollow Winery. They've got this dish--a juicy, succulent rack of BBQ ribs. The flavors just explode in your mouth, like a party you never want to leave. Each bite is smoky, tender, and drenched in a rich sauce that hits all the right notes. Trust me, it's a feast for your taste buds.

Yelp
There is this wonderful place dedicated to everything wine. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The atmosphere provides a wine tasting experience away from the typical strip vibes, which is refreshing and different, almost like a change of scenery. Come and try their unique selection of wines, as they are not your traditional varietals. They are all uniquely crafted to be easy to drink and distinctly unique.

Yelp
Attended an event here yesterday. What a beautiful winery! It was very spacious with lots of different wines to choose from. I met the owners and they were both very nice and welcoming. This would be a great venue to host parties, bridal showers, etc. At the event I was able to taste three wines. My two favorite was the Niagara, and Toasted Joe! I also purchased a glass of the strawberry fields , Naughty Noiret, and The after midnight! The after Midnight was a little to dry for my tasting, but I loved all the other ones. I can't wait to come back and try some more. Thank you Pine Hollow and YelpLV for hosting an amazing event!

Yelp
I came here to see what the winery was about. . My friends were in town from DC. Wanted to do something different. This is an amazing place, cute, but large enough to have a nice time. The employees are wonderful, helpful, and know their stuff! I'm having a great time. More pics to come

Yelp
This winery is the first of its kind in the heart of Las Vegas and is owned by a sweet couple from the east coast that brought their passion for unique wines and flavors. It is located in an unassuming part of town in the same place as Frijoles, and the space is designed for painting events and wine tasting. John and Barbara were great at answering all our questions, even though most of us were not knowledgeable about wine. They offer wine tasting with either 6 flights or 8 flights; the 8 flights came with an additional wine glass as a souvenir and a peace of dark chocolate. They also supplemented us with a bag of soup crackers to cleanse our pallets. The tasting experience was quite affordable; I think this is a great date night or group date experience. They offer a variety of sweet wines with different flavor combinations and the owner John was happy to share his journey and knowledge with how he got into the business and what his process was for coming up with these different flavors. I was happy to see many options for sweet wines, which is my preference. The flavors that stood out to me were the Tropical Splash, the Monkey Business, the Strawberry Fields, The Raspberries, and the Blackberry Zinger. I left with a bottle of their Blackberry Zinger (classed as semi-dry but was easy to drink). They host paint lessons in their space as well, which I would one day love to do once I find a group of folks willing to do it with me. The ambiance is relaxed and suitable for all ages. Overall, we all had such a positive experience and I highly recommend coming here even if you don't know much about wine. There is no judgment from the owners, as they've had many visitors come in with zero wine knowledge; you might even develop an appreciation for wine after visiting!

Yelp
Lovely place and environment. Every wine I tasted was so yummy on my palette. Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back! The owners are a beautiful nice sweet couple that made us feel so comfortable and welcome.

Yelp
If you like supporting cool businesses that are locally owned and operated, this place is worth checking out! All of the wines are crafted by the owners. There are some very unique flavor combinations that range from sweet and fruity, to dry and bold, and even some that are made spicy by being infused with chili pepper. The prices are super reasonable, so trying a flight of 6 or 8 doesn't break the bank. Among my friends the blackberry zinger was a hit. You can taste and smell the blackberry, and the wine is super smooth. I personally enjoy a bold red, and I liked the naughty noiret- I ended up buying a bottle of it. The ambiance is nice. You walk in and the colors are warm, the place is clean, and the sound level allows for conversation where you don't have to yell talking over loud music. The owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine making process. We were told they also have a great happy hour weds-fri from 5-7pm. I will definitely be coming back here!

Yelp
Nice little winery in the heart of Las Vegas. Saves having to drive out to Pahrump to do wine tasting. The owners are super friendly. The vibe was nice. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Yelp
Amazing wine and an intimate environment! Pine Hollow is my new favorite go to for a delicious glass (or bottle) of wine and good conversation. The couple that owns this establishment are so sweet and the husband actually makes the wine! So many surprising and tasty flavor to try so I definitely recommend grabbing a flight for variety!

Yelp
Great wine, staff was warm and welcoming!! My favorite wine was the Naught Noiret which was perfectly paired with chocolate peanut butter ball prepared by @sugarandspicelasvegas

Yelp
We just stopped by this hidden gem- it was wonderful! Thank you Barbara and John for the great wine tasting! Our fave was toasted Joe and warm fuzzy. We will be back for the cranberry cheer. I would love to see our office host a holiday party here! Can't wait to be on your newsletter as well! Thanks! Rachel and Richard

Yelp
Went here for A Path 4 paws charity painting event. It was so much fun. I eneded up buying 5 bottles of wine because there are so many great flavors. Great service and I will definently will be getting all my wine from here.

Yelp
Poor service. The place was empty except for a couple at the bar. The guy stood there talking to them for about 20 minutes before even acknowledging us. We ordered wine and food. Took forever for our food to come out Then to top it off our bill was incorrect. There were charges for glasses of wine and food we didn't order on our check! But a women at a table near us had ordered those items!!!

Becky G.

Yelp
Horrible red wine if you're a connoisseur avoid this place, Over priced for the quality of cheap sugary wines, owners have No personality, just hand the drink and bill to ya, not a hi how do you do? nothing! They don't seem appreciative of your business which is probably why no one is in the place.. No foods to speak of.. come on a microwave pizza .. I won't return nor do I recommend.

Yelp
Today my wife and I had our wine tasting experience and it was amazing to say the least. We had an hour to try 16 different wines and enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board. The experience was a 10/10 and we definitely want to come back. Barbara and her husband were very kind and welcoming which made everything even better. We don't know much about wine and they are very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We went home with our favorite wine which was the Warm Fuzzy! Thanks again for the great wine and conversation!

Yelp
Attended with my friends to the yelp event. Love the wine and atmosphere, owners are super attentive, my favorite wine and totally recommend if you like sweet wine monkey business and Niagara, this place is great for a date night! Happy hour Wednesday-Friday from 5-7 $5 dollar wine glass!!

Yelp
Our first time here and we were not disappointed. We love supporting local business. We also enjoy a nice glass of wine. Close to home, casual. No smoking. Perfect for us. We intend to become regulars and take our friends.

Yelp
Definitely a hidden masterpiece. It's highly recommended. Family owned business, everyone is super nice

Yelp
While in Las Vegas for my daughters dance competition I discovered Pine Hollow Winery. I can't say enough about this place. The wines are primarily fruit wines and delicious! They are smooth and silky each with a unique flavor. John makes them himself. Both John and his wife Barb are great people. There is entertainment Fridays and Saturdays. You can do a wine tasting...3 different options, or simply enjoy a glass or 2. Pick up a few bottles to go so you can enjoy them at home. Hard to pick my favorite, as the wines I had were amazing. If you live in Vegas or are visiting, go off the strip for a few hours and show them some love. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Had a networking event here last week. What a great place to have an event or party. My guests really loved the atmosphere and decor. We provided all our guests with a free glass of wine, and it was really easy to work with the bartenders to keep everyone happy. We will definitely have another event here in the future.

Yelp
Just enjoyed a refreshing and different wine tasting. Super friendly owner, from Pittsburgh. Sweeter wines, but not overly sweet. Grapes from PA- who knew!? Check it out.

Sil A.

Yelp
This location is the best kept secret in Las Vegas! John and Barbara are the owners, they made our event go so smoothly! Our members loved the different wines they offer. Will be booking their location again soon. Thank you SPARC NETWORKING

Yelp
Just what the doctor ordered! A winery in Vegas and I am HERE FOR IT! Nestled in a neighborhood but accessible from the 95, I know this place is going to be Popping corks for years! See you VERY SOON and hopefully VERY OFTEN!

Yelp
A winery in Vegas?! Let's go!! I used to live in Temecula (awesome area in SoCal if you're not familiar) and was so excited to see a winery here in Vegas because I miss the winery life. Love that they grow the grapes here locally and each wine is a unique blend. The place just opened so definitely go check them out! Great location and easy to get to from whatever part of Vegas you live in. We can't wait to keep going back and trying all the wines they have! Happy to have been the first of many people to write them a great review.
google avatar

Denise M.

Yelp
Friendly people, good vibe, very interesting wines that they create. Having Patrice Isley entertaining is a bonus.

Faith D.

Yelp
We stopped by based on the excellent review rating on Yelp. Sadly, we were not impressed with the wine selection. Flavors tasted forced and lacked refinement. A couple selections were "ok", but we struggled with the flavors not matching the provided descriptions. Additionally, seating at the bar was uncomfortable. I would encourage the owners to consider extending the countertop width and providing barstools with backs. Or remove the barstools and encouraging standing tastings only at the bar. Lastly, we also had errors with a few of our bills. Overall, this winery was just not a fit for our groups palate and expectations. Wishing the owners continued growth and success.

Yelp
Went for wine tasting this afternoon. Nice place, Barb and John were great hosts. They had several different wines that are made on the premises. There is something for all tastes. We particularly enjoyed the Warm Fuzzy and Naughy Noiret although all are good....check it out.

Yelp
I'm so glad I finally checked this place out! Being in Vegas for 3 years now, I've really missed wine tasting with this kind of friendly, personal touch. It's run by a married couple and has some super unique flavors, and if you love sweet wines (as I do) you have plenty to choose from. I took home a bottle of the Toasted Joe which is basically sophisticated liquid s'mores. Hoping to get a group together to return soon - please support this place!

Vicki B.

Yelp
This place was great! The wines are fantastic & the prices are very reasonable. The owners were super friendly & knowledgeable. When we make it back for our next visit, we will definitely stop here again.

Jeff S.

Yelp
Cool local winery. Owners were nice and learned a little bit about the backstory of how they got started. Would recommend for a unique experience in Vegas.

Yelp
Great little hidden gem. Boutique wine bar with a variety of infused wines. Great trivia night every Thursday night. Great place for group gatherings.

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Such an awesome hole in the wall! We randomly found out about this place on Facebook and knew we had to check it out. We both got the tasting with 8 wines and ended up both buying a bottle. I'll definitely be stopping in for a bottle of the warm fuzzy occasionally! The toasted Joe is also an amazing dessert wine!

Ulises M.

Yelp
Honestly you walk into this place thinking it isn't going to give you the best wine you've had all year but that's where you're wrong. Literally every single handmade wine is delicious we tried four different wines and left with a bottle of the Monkey Business. Can't recommend this place enough!
