My wife and I recently visited Pine Hollow Winery, a charming local spot in Las Vegas, and it was an unforgettable experience. Owners John and Barb welcomed us warmly, making this cozy winery, tucked in a business complex corner, feel like home. We opted for the eight-wine tasting to explore their diverse selection, and we were blown away.
Each wine had a playful name and delivered exactly what its description promised. Aromas of orange, pear, apple, and cinnamon filled the air, and each sip introduced bold, unique flavors unlike any wine we’ve tasted before. These fruit-forward wines were fun, refreshing, and perfect for a hot Las Vegas day, with year-round selections to suit any palate.
What truly sets Pine Hollow apart is its commitment to locals. John and Barb built this winery as a haven away from the Strip, giving Las Vegas residents a special place to unwind. Their passion and hospitality made us feel like family. We enjoyed great conversation and left with a deep appreciation for their mission.
Pine Hollow Winery is now our go-to spot, and we plan to visit monthly to enjoy the wines and catch up with John and Barb. If you’re a local looking for something new or a visitor wanting a unique experience, this winery is a must. Support this gem of a business; you won’t be disappointed!
And on a side note: If you're looking for a bit of an adventure and you like spicy food at the end of your wine tasting, make sure to get the Hot Stuff wine. I did not expect that to kick me that hard! Even if you sip it, it's a nice burn, but it does eventually go away. What a unique wine!
