If you love beer, Pinelands Brewing Co. is a place you should check out. Try a flight of four 4 Oz pours. Then, once you finish your flight, get a pint or growler filled with your favorite brew. The staff is super friendly. They have a fire pit out back and a couple of boards to throw bags while you drink. Huge plus is they are dog friendly.

Stumbled upon Pinelands Brewing through a line dancing event. From the outside, the place looked very small but it has a nice outdoor seating area at the back. My husband enjoyed the beers and flavors that they make. The bartender was very pleasant and helpful. Worth checking out and support this local business.

Google
Beer is very good and the place is clean. Sometimes there's a food truck outside, which is a great idea.excekkent quality in the beer and place has a good vibe. The outside is nice. The only k ock would be the miserable girl serving the beer. She made you feel really unwelcome. A small smile or a friendly comment would have gone a long way. We would have stayed longer, but we were getting depressed having to ask for more service. Owners, please get this young lady some happy pills.

Google
Great spot! Bands and food trucks often.

Guy behind the bar was super friendly, described all the beers they had and was happy to share their story and history. Beers were delicious.

Yelp
Just inland off of Little Egg Harbor and right on the southern tip of New Jersey's Pine Barrens is this true hidden gem. You might have seen their beer in liquor stores as they distribute all over the state, but it's worth paying them a visit if you get the chance. Great little taproom hidden in a small industrial strip, with great vibes, incredibly friendly staff, and some impressive beer. Don't sleep on this place, as the kids say. I've been here a few times over the years, most recently last night with my girlfriend after a day at the beach. We each got a flight, including one of my all time favorites: their blueberry ale. Great summer beer. The Sharp Shooter amber ale was a little too bitter for my liking (seemed to have an IBU of 2,000), but other standouts included the White Stag (Munich Helles) and the oh-so-delicious yet deadly 9.7% gnarly Pine (barley wine). Around closing time a group of us went outside and the bartender included us in the conversation with the regulars like this was the most natural thing in the world. Like everyone ends up friends here, which is a cool feeling. Great place that you should add to your brewery tour!

Yelp
Been going to Pinelands for at least 15 years. Great atmosphere, nice brews, friendly customers and owners, except Mike. He should stay in the back and avoid interaction. Extremely rude, no personality and needs lessons about NJ.....and it's people. Don't avoid the this place, just him. I really don't know what it takes to be a loyal customer with him.

Yelp
Lately I've been seeing posts about Pinelands Brewing Co. in the SJ Brewery Madness Facebook page but I've never been. Was in the area tonight (Tuesday) and finished up what I was doing around 6:45 so decided to swing over to check it out. It's tucked away off of 539. I've driven passed it many times without even knowing it was there. We walked in and was browsing the beer list and were greeted by both owners. They were incredibly friendly and personable. They showed us around the brewery including the outside, gave us their backstory. I tried a flight and each of the four beers I tasted were outstanding. I ended up finishing with a pint of Swamp Donkey. I can't believe that this was my first time visiting this establishment or even tasting any of their beers. I do visit businesses in the area occasionally and will be making this a regular stop when I'm in town.

Yelp
We finally came here on Labor Day weekend this summer after 2.5 summers of saying we had to come. The beer was great! I really enjoyed the Oktoberfest and the porter (both on nitro and CO2 draft). The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Love music on the patio was not too loud so we could have conversation but could also relax and listen. The picnic tables were plentiful and our group felt comfortable being spaced apart from others. We will definitely be back! I wish there was some food or snacks for when you're relaxing drinking beers and the location isn't stellar but the beer will keep us coming.

Yelp
Great beer. Good people. Nice local brewery. Lemon grassy knoll is a must try as well as the Mad Moxi black garlic.

Nicole I.

Yelp
The outdoor area was nice and the decor was hilarious! The bartender was friendly. The beer was just average.

Angie R.

Yelp
Nice beer and super comfy outside for hanging with friends. Great selection of beers.

Tommy C.

Yelp
Outstanding beer. Small place, outside covered seating. The gentleman behind the bar was knowledgeable, knew his stuff and nice as hell. I highly recommend Pinelands. The flights aren't bad $8 for the standard, $10 for a mix. I bought a 4 for home for $14. The prices are on par or a little less than others but the beer is better and worth it.

Orquidea R.

Yelp
I am so happy that we came across this hidden gem. The selection of beers is varied and all taste good, they even now carry a hard seltzer option. We experienced some live music going on and a food truck outside that is a plus to any brewery. Staff was very kind and attentive, and the outdoor seating very comfortable. I also love that it is dog friendly and with a nice view of the woods.

Ric T.

Yelp
This is a real cute hangout if you're down in pinelands area. The staff is really nice. This brewery is real low-key compared to some in central/north Jersey. I enjoyed the two stouts they had on tap. Excellent and tasty. But I didn't really care for the IPA's. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think so, cuz I'm familiar with a lot of types of brews. They have various games including serious dart tournaments. Note, for non-alcoholic drinkers, they make their own creme soda.

Jason M.

Yelp
I hate negatively review places when the service I good. Friendly staff, decent outdoor area but.... The beer is just unoriginal & uninspired. They don't play with flavor profiles. When they do... the coconut beer or the signature Blueberry Ale... it falls flat. The IPAs are one note.... HOPS, HOPS, HOPS with varying amounts of HOPS. No flavors, no hazy IPAs. I really wanted to like them after I developed a taste for IPAs (now that's all I drink).... but I just don't.

Yelp
LITTLE EGG HARBOR: if you ever checked our map of Dog Friendly places, you might have seen Pinelands Brewing Co at the top of the list for places we want to visit and we are excited to report that we finally did! As bartender Joe describes the vibe of the brewery, it has a "piney" feel! We love that every brewery is unique and loved Pinelands vibe! Dogs are allowed inside the tasting room and there are a couple of rooms to hang out, including a large outdoor backyard! Brie had fun meeting new people, especially giving Patricia a bunch of kisses! We were there on New Years Day and the place filled-in quickly with people looking to kick off the new year with a beer! There's a parking lot out front and plenty of grassy areas for doggie breaks.

Doug D.

Yelp
Last year I first tried their beer at the Atlantic City Boardwalk Beer Festival, and I had been wanting to go back ever since. We finally did. This is a great place to hang out in the Southern Ocean Co area that's not a bar or a restaurant, and where you do not have to spend a lot of money. It's located in an industrial park. Don't let that fool you. It's fun inside. All the beers have South Jersey / Pine Barrens themed names, and I love that. The names don't really coordinate with the flavors of the beers, however. The stouts were definitely the best ones the day we went. The lighter beers were somewhat lackluster. Keep in mind, that I'm pretty snobby with my beers, however. Overall, great place.

Chuck O.

Yelp
This place is classic! Was there on Easter weekend and they had an Easter egg hunt for children and adults! The beer is delicious and it is both child and pet friendly! I love breweries that allow dogs! Definitely worth stopping in. Has definitely gotten better with time!

Harry P.

Yelp
Very friendly service, and I liked the 10 dollar flight deal that included a glass. The beer hall is very small, but they have a nice outdoor area in back with tables. The beers here were average, I enjoyed their oyster stout, Zero Shucks given (good name too), I appreciate that they tried to do gluten free beer, but it wasn't good. The blueberry blonde ale was very interesting but I was looking for some more fruit notes. Their IPAs were good too, but nothing stand out.

Michael C.

Yelp
This place has kickin beer. 08087 top notch stuff. Great service and friendly staff. Best local spot in town

Jenny H.

Yelp
Had awful service here. Staff was rude, owner made offensive remarks us. Don't waste your time or money at this place. I'll be making a report with the BBB and potentially filing a claim with the attorney general's office.

Jessica V.

Yelp
Stopped in yesterday with my husband. We were on our way back from Cape May where we tried some of the breweries so I thought we should stop here too. As others have said, they are very friendly and welcoming. We both had a flight and my personal favorite was "Butternuts" followed by the Evan Porter Nitro. Nice place, good beer. Be sure to stop by!

Michael N.

Yelp
Pinelands Brewing is a welcome addition to the otherwise non-existent craft brewing scene at the Jersey Shore. Located in a unassuming industrial park is this a relatively small new brewery operation. It appears they are still getting off the ground, but the weekend tasting hours are a good opportunity to try the multiple varieties of beer they offer. For $5 bucks you can get 3 chips that are good for 3- 4oz samples. I opted for the $10 option which gives you 4 samples and a free pint glass. Overall the beer was pretty good. Unfortunately they were out of the IPA by the time I arrived but I did enjoy the Pitch Pine Ale. If you're not a beer person, they also make their own root beer, which was excellent. As for the "All The Fixin's", I didn't really enjoy that one.

Shannon J.

Yelp
Friendly service, nice outdoor area, great beer! Hubs loved the porter on nitro and I liked the Octoberfest.

Jon B.

Yelp
Another terrible brewery. Don't go out of your way to go here. The beer is terrible not much flavor and some OFF FLAVORS out of their beer. I think the owner is the Brewer and that's why they put this disgusting beer on tap. I even gave this one a second chance I don't know why I did that.

Tara H.

Yelp
If your looking for great craft beer in jersey, go here. Looks small, because it is, but one of the best breweries in jersey. Has the outside area to enjoy good weather and corn hole, if you need to be entertained. Staff was super nice and informational as were the customers there. Well worth the trip and love your IPA and 2X IPA. Please keep making them!!!!

Bloodthirsty125 I.

Yelp
Outstanding brewery! Always many different beers available. The coffee Stout is awesome. The 08087 starts off like an IPA and finishes with a hint of lemon. The Pills is spot on the money. Pinelands staff is very friendly and always available to answer questions and give tours of the brewery. Last weekend they had Cajun Jax food truck available with some fabulous menu items with a Saint patties day twist! Always a good time at pineland's with a nice outdoor Area in the back for the family and or fur kids as well!

AL S.

Yelp
Excellent selection of different beers. Reasonable prices and nice atmosphere. Tables available outside for food. These people know beer

Christopher J.

Yelp
Great beer and atmosphere. Definitely try the blueberry beer. Bring your own food so pick up a pizza on the way.

Maria S.

Yelp
Great place to go if you want some of the best tasting beer in the state. Small, nano brewery putting out some tasty beers. A must if in the area.

Darrin W.

Yelp
Great brewery to hit in the South Jersey area. Family-like atmosphere. Patio area out back, but bring an umbrella, the summer sun can be a beast. Been there a few times. Like the beer, just can't find my growler anywhere.. Good Brew, Good Times..

Matt R.

Yelp
One of the most friendly breweries I've ever been to. We walked in to the tap room for the first time with our dog and were instantly in conversations with numerous groups there. Had a sampler and brought home a growler of the Mason's Wheat. All top notch.

Michelle W.

Yelp
Ehh...staff isn't very friendly. Tried their pumpkin pie beer and it was warm. They had a small keg of it sitting on the bar, I think it should of been in the fridge or on ice. None of their other beers are anything to write home about. I don't think I will return.

Sara H.

Yelp
My husband and I have stopped here a few times on our way to LBI. We are not big beer drinkers, but we were told by a few people to try it and we were not disappointed! I tried a bunch, but my favorite was 08087 and my husband liked Evan John Porter a lot. I actually think their prices are pretty fair, a brewery near my home is almost double their prices. We look forward to going back this summer!

Mark Z.

Yelp
Been wanting to go here for some time, and it was cool. They have a great beer selection and friendly staff. The only issue, the place is incredibly tiny. The tasting room has one table with four chairs, but decent amount of outside seating. I can see it when it is cold out to be a problem, so I wish the place was bigger.

Eric M.

Yelp
They don't even accept their glass back for a refund like normal microbrews... What a bunch of crooks.

Laura A.

Yelp
I didn't even know we had a brewery in town! I went here with a friend and am not much of a beer drinker but they had 3 beers that I really enjoyed! Would certainly go here again.

Chris H.

Yelp
The beer is absolutely great. I love that they constantly try new flavors but keep their traditional flavors. The place is nothing more than a industrial store front and has no food. That is the only reason for only 3 stars. If you like craft brew this is the place.

Joe T.

Yelp
Good beer. Good people. Support local breweries and try this delicious beer. Their blueberry and Belgian dubbel are my favorite. Some of the reviews of this place clearly say more about the patron's knowledge of beer than it does the brewery.

Kristiane G.

Yelp
I can honestly say that this brewery is one of the happiest and friendliest I have been to. All the guys here are very welcoming and always have a smile on their faces. The brewery definitely represents its name they make you feel like your close to the pines. They have a lot of different types of beer to choose from, whether is ipa, stout, lite beers, fruity beers, seasonal favorites and not to mention the fact that they hands down have the BEST root beer and cream soda ever! Flights of beer no problems growlers and everything! These group of guys have no problems making you feel welcome. Great job guys!

Bryan N.

Yelp
Smallest brewery we've been too (out of 30 or so) that is really just getting going after being open for a little more than a year. They were out of the IPA but I enjoyed the blueberry, pinch pine and Irish red ale. None of the beers blew us away, but all were solid and very drinkable. I think this place has some good potential. It's in an industrial park with no food, but there is a Wawa less than a mile away and they have bench seating outside.

Ashley H.

Yelp
I get to come here once a year when I am in Tuckerton visiting my hometown. I was very excited to get a brewery in our small town, and then I tried their beer and I was not disappointed. From stouts to blondes, they get it right!

Louis L.

Yelp
Never got a chance to try the beer in the not so neat facility. Was ignored by staff twice on a not so busy small place. Local dissapointed

Justin P.

Yelp
Awesome brewery that is forever expanding their selections. They offer some really great choices and if your unsure of what to get the sampler is the way to go. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they will be more then happy to address any questions that you might have. Gets a bit crowded at times but the staff do a great job at handling the crowds and when I am in the area in the summer I always make sure to stop in.

Shaun K.

Yelp
Great beer and soda! Loving this local place, thanks for opening!

Kim B.

Yelp
Unfriendly staff. Tour of the brewery was a PowerPoint video that you watch alone which is bizzare. Small space with limited seating. No one greeted us until we stood there for 5 minutes awkwardly. Arrived excited to try the beer and ended up leaving with no tour, no beers, and feeling uncomfortable. This place is a joke.

Bob H.

Yelp
Everybody's new favorite, many great beer selections, the usual limitations on selling bottles and cans and hours, but worth a lazy afternoon with friends who know great beer. Free Cream Soda for those who don't care to imbibe and designated drivers.

Sean C.

Yelp
I found my new favorite brewery. I went to there Oktoberfest celebration and was extremely impressed. They had about 10 beers on tap and a firkin in the bar. The pumpkin pine was my favorite followed by the Oktoberfest. They have a short PowerPoint presentation as a self guided tour. They do offer a more in depth tour when you ask for it. They also have an area out back with picnic tables perfect place to eat lunch and enjoy a beer. They are not allowed to provide you any food so bring your favorite sub and enjoy drinking in the pines.

John B.

Yelp
Went here on a whim because I was near LBI during the recent holiday. First beer I tried was the Lemon Witbier. Good stuff! Nice tart lemon flavor hits you upfront with a crisp malty wheat background. But, as I progressed through their other offerings it kept spiraling downward. What they are calling an IPA is far from what you would expect out of a hoppy beer. Not sure I would even classify as a pale ale. I'd like to say the base beer was still great but sadly i found it undrinkable.
