"Oh, Good Lawd... This place literally has everything. Allow me to list a few for you, Vintage Bowling Lanes (reclaimed from a Bowl-A-Rama), Coffee Shop, Outdoor Patio/Hang Zone, Swimming Pool, Bocce Ball Court... The list doesn't stop. The menu is expertly crafted, down to earth, robust and delicious. The mixed drinks are made by folks wearing suspenders and everything! SUSPENDERS I TELL YA! All joking aside, there are tons of fun things to do, drink and eat at this place and it's right on the river. There is also revolving coffee can installation from printmaker Bryce McCloud's Isle of printing, housed next to the lanes. Note: Reservations are recommended but not required for some of the activities and a must for dinner... Do yourself a flavor and go." - ST8MNT
"Pinewood is the EGOT of Nashville restaurants—it can do a little bit of everything. Part bowling alley, part summer pool hang, part cafe, and part bar, this Downtown industrial-chic spot has all of your bases covered, including brunch. It’s located within Nashville’s historic trolley barns, and on any given weekend, you’ll find a mix of bachelorette parties, families with rowdy kids, groups of hungover friends, and couples on their third date. On their tables: hush puppies served with a dollop of pimento cheese, breakfast burritos swelling with pork belly, eggs, black beans, and potatoes, along with a variety of vegetable-packed brunch bowls. And if you’re looking to avenge your pickleball loss last week, the bocce ball court out back awaits." - jackie gutierrez jones 2, ann walczak
"A retro-inspired social club centered around six reclaimed-wood bowling lanes (balls and shoe rentals included) that also features an outdoor pool and full dining and bar service—an alternative night out that blends entertainment and eating in one spot." - Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel is a writer with more than eight years of experience editing and writing for both brands and online publications—with a particular focus on travel, fashion, and lifestyle. "We’ve already discussed how great Pinewood can be for kids (hello, bowling), but their full-service outdoor patio has plenty of covered seating for people-watching and relaxing on the weekend. It can get packed during the summer, when people tend to lounge around playing ping pong, putt-putt, bocce ball, and cornhole. Plus, they have two pools that are both 21+ and first come, first served, as well as a walk-up bar serving sunshine-friendly cocktails like gin rickys, dark and stormys, and the sexier cousin to an espresso martini: a frozen irish coffee." - adam sloan
"There’s always a lot to do at Pinewood Social, but when it’s not bowling-inside weather, it’s time for the lawn games, lounge furniture, and a small pool outside to shine. Space in the pool runs out fast, but there will always be plenty of pork belly breakfast burritos and hushpuppies to go around." - ann walczak, jackie gutierrez jones 2
