Delicious doughnuts! I just moved here about 6 months ago and have been looking for a good shop. Well, found it! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Oh my donut holes! These donuts are amazing! The crumb donuts are my favorite ❤ They make really big donuts that were only $5 a dozen is $12, but so many to choose from and absolutely worth it! My new favorite go to place. I'm so picky when it comes to donuts and I love these! The glaze donuts are sweet, I like the more non sweet glaze, but still so good! If you haven't tried this place yet, you should. Great service also, which is another plus! Just know that if you want to get your dibs on the donuts you want, get there early, these donuts get sold out.

Donuts are amazing!! The apple fritter is to die for. Another favorite of mine are the Buttermilk. This morning we went and they were out of the glazed but had a few plain. She said if I had a sec she would have them glazed for me!! Thanks for the wonderful service ladies. We are thankful you're open ☺️

I have heard a lot of great things about this donut shop and I was very pleased with the shop. I loved the simple atmosphere and appreciated the small town vibe. The two workers up front were very friendly and fast. But, most importantly the donuts were fresh and taste great.

Good donuts, but..... They are open from 5 am to 1 pm. It's 9:30 and the case is completely empty except for the one tray of maybe 20 donuts (only 3 types). "That's all we have" is what I was told. What are you going to sell for the next 3.5 hours you are open? Like I said, good donuts, but I guess you need to get here at 6 am in order to get anything.

Worst donut shop in business ! This place must need a cash infusion . Always out of donuts , not because they are busy but because they don’t know how to run a business . When you are out of the same donuts every week ... Make More ! Not a good place my suggestion is to drive a bit further or make your own, until they close their doors and someone with some business experience that values a customer store over For you mask loving sheep wearing mask is NOT a law ! if you want to wear a mask wear one and if you have one you don’t need to be concerned if others are wearing one. It’s a personal choice not a civil rights violating LAW

The donuts are great when they have them, but they're regularly sold out by 10 or 11 so unless you're there at 7 or 8 don't expect there to be much to pick from if they're even open. I'll amend my review if their service changes but today was the third time in a row I stopped in around 10am to find them closed.

The only spot (that I know of) in town and the best spot in town to get fresh bakery style donuts that are perfect every time. If you love donuts it's important you get here early because they sell out FAST!! they have an option you can text your order the evening. They have great variety of options for the family. The only thing I wish they had would be crullers. Everything else is amazing. They also have cronuts that are fire.

These donuts are amazing! I buy 2 dozen at a time and freeze them! They are perfectly preserved when unwrapped! Love it that Laura runs her business her way. When she sells out, she closes. Doesn't wast time or product because most days, they do sell out! It's truly a BUMMER when you roll up and the sign shows closed! You know if was a good day on donuts!

The young lady behind the counter is an absolute delight however, the owner The blonde older woman in her 50s kinda heavy Set blonde is so dismissive and rude to her customers and her employee. Every day I go there they're closed or either sold out of donuts. I arrive at nine or 10 o'clock in the morning. They say you have to order online ahead of time. I find that to be inconvenient. They're never open when they say they're supposed to be open and they're always out of donuts. The donuts are delicious but the the owner the blonde have that lady is extremely rude rude and she wrecks the whole deal for me. I would not recommend this place at all unless you wanna leave there without donuts and offended and feeling like she totally just misses you

Delicious donuts every time! Love the large selection and especially their cronuts! So flakey and fun to eat. Highly recommended and always the place my family turns to when we have guests or a birthday to celebrate!

Great doughnuts. Always a line and the only downsize is that they run out of doughnuts too early as they are so popular.

I love the donuts here and prefer them over the grocery stores, Krispy Kreme, or any other donut shop. They are the perfect amount of sweetness and fluffiness for me. The cronuts are amazing and you can get donuts custom filled. I do have to come early to make sure I am able to get what I want.

The donuts are good. My only complaint is the staff has zero hustle or concern about getting the customers served timely. I recommend you order your donuts ahead of time. Do not show up on a morning before work thinking you'll quickly get your office a dozen donuts!!

Super way to start your day! great people help you to pick anything you like and CUSTOM FILL IT with Yellow Custard, Lemon, or Raspberry fillings or anything the "kid" in you desires. It's just me, but I was having so much fun I bought a ton! Great service and prices are important, but to be impressed they have to taste amazing and these all did just that. My personal favorite for 50 years is a MAPLE BAR STUFFED WITH YELLOW CUSTARD! as much filling as the walls of that donut can hold! I was hoping I wouldn't have to beg for this custom custard delight, or worse, they say "we don't do that!". not this time... Poppa donut master Marshal stuck his head out at 5:45 am still mixing and making because he heard me and well... this is such a classic great donut that's not typically made nowadays. He says... "my personal favorite too!" I think we both got a kick out of that exchange. It's a lot of top of the heap donuts so my choices are always similar to my favorite saying. "why buy 1 when you can get 2 for twice the price!" haha but honestly, priced right and the counter service was so excellent, I tipped. I'm 57, live in lincoln hills and have been missing out on this great local business, buying from safeway, and always just barely getting my "donut fix". Not today, it's just me at home, but I'll bring some to my sweet momma and ring my neighbors doorbell with treats. No way as much as I want, put down all these donuts. But, I'll try to bring out the 20 year old in me when I would stop by an american icon shop we all know of, with a W in it! i'm embarrassed to admit how many of these I could eat with a gallon of milk... hey c'mon now, I was growing! Thanks the perfect dozen is just that! nuff, more than enough said. be well, look younger, and live longer, eat more donuts while you still can! the kid in me says....weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! and does the "happy food dance!"

It was my 1st time here, my kid wanted donuts for their bday. This place only has 3.5 stars so I read the reviews, it's all a bunch of people bitching that the donuts are sold out or that they (god forbid) be closed so the owners and employees have a day off. If a place is sold out of donuts it's because the place has amazing donuts. The staff was super friendly, donuts were amazing. Whoever the owner is that is writing the reviews back to the people is really want me over on this place. I own two businesses, and this is exactly how I respond to people when they are being dumb.

Very rare that I get fresh donuts like this but man when I do it sure is tasty. It was my daughter's first day at school so I decided to grab some donuts and some chocolate milk, you know something to start her day off right. Got a glazed donut, a chocolate donut, a pink frosting sprinkle donut and a maple donut. All were very fresh and yummy, at least that's what I was told about the sprinkle donut because I didn't eat any of that. LOL very friendly customer service and I would totally go back and enjoy some more.

What a joke. Closed 2 days of the week and only open from 5:30-1100 the other days * or until they sell out. Do you guys even make donuts there? Where do you get them from? I thought donut shops actually make donuts. Why would you sell out? Seems like you should MAKE MORE DONUTS.

As a donut shop, they are passable. Has a business? I mean, why close at 11 AM? And why aren't you open at 10:30 AM and why would you be closed on Monday and Tuesday? Seems like your heart just not in it maybe you should pass the torch to somebody who actually wants to provide donuts. As the only donut shop within 6 miles, you are doing your market a disservice.

The Absolute best donuts in Lincoln California or anywhere close by. The Ladies are always so friendly and the Variety is 2nd to none. Where as alot of donut shops have shifted to selling coffee not here donuts are their still the main game in this town. Thankyou Mike from Lincoln

Best cronuts I've ever had! Amazing donuts I work in Rancho Cordova and my coworkers ask me to bring the donuts cause we love them so much. So many to choose from but can't get enough of the gooey goodness of the cronuts! I've tried them at other places but nothing like the perfect dozen!

Service and Ambiance are good. Food in the other hand- Cinnamon roll lacked top glaze that is usual for rolls. (I didn't even expect raisins). But the white glaze not donut glaze is quite necessary or else it's just a big rolled up donut. The apple fritter has no apple bits (canned or fresh)!! Another deep fried donut masquerading as a fritter. So if you want a donut ONLY this is your place.

Went here for the first time ever this morning and I am not disappointed. The donuts are phenomenal and the service was fantastic too. They had the kindest staff who seemed happy to be there. Can't wait to go here again.

I dont know why this place is so low rated. This place deserves 10/5 stars. Donuts were absolutely delicious probably the best in Sacramento. Staff were friendly and their selection was great. No wonder why they are sold out so fast. You have to try their donuts!

Was a regular because it's the only donut shop in town but won't ever go back. The owner has a nasty attitude and after coming here to leave a review I decided to read others. Her responses to anyone who leaves a non five star review is nasty. Not sure how anyone would want to give business to someone who speaks to their customers like that. Oh and my friends and family won't be coming in either. Going to call some other donut shops I know and see if they want to expand to Lincoln. I think once they read these reviews they would be very interested. Response: I don't care what programs you have or don't want. You are rude the way you respond to people and anyone on here who reads your comments to your other customers will see it for themselves. Please people scroll and read.

The best local donut shop! I dropped in to get donuts for my daughter's daycare to celebrate her birthday. Laura went above and beyond to make sure the dozen included pink donuts, per my 3 yo daughter's request :) She added some unicorn sprinkles to glazed donuts and even offered to go mix up some more pink frosting since the pink donuts were running low. And the donuts are DELICIOUS.

We weren't aware of the hours and arrived at 10:30am, the closed at 11am. Our selection was limited to about a dozen different donuts. We chose three different kinds, and were not disappointed with any of them! They were delicious they were extremely fresh, a good size and a comparable to other donuts shops in cost. The staff friendly and eager to help. They even give out the phone number so that you can text your donut order the night before and they will pull them and hold them for your arrival. The shop included tables for enjoying inside. It was a very pleasant treat.

Today was my first time stopping by . I ordered 3 dozen donuts and I wasn't sure on which types I wanted (it was for a graduating class) I'm unsure of what her name was but the girl working the front was not only patient but extremely pleasant . I LOVE great customer service . I'll definitely be back!

The staff is always very friendly, and the donuts are always delicious! As with any donut shop, they're busy on the weekends so make sure you get there early. But even with the line wrapped around the store, service was fast and they were quick to restock the popular donuts.

We love The Perfect Dozen!!! We are weekend regulars, and I have also ordered several custom donuts as well. The donuts are always beautifully done and always so delicious.

I am not sure why this place only has 3 stars on here. Let me start by saying this place is a gem. I came in on Valentines Day around 10:30am... They had only one kind left so of course I had to try it. Sprinkles! I know what your thinking who get sprinkles well I did considering every other donut was gone. The donut was soft, moist and delicious. I wouldn't normally order this kind. Glad I tried it the sprinkles were perfect not to sweet and the donut was the same. So I decided to come back when they opened the next day to try all the other ones they make. 5:02am is when I showed up on a Saturday I had the whole place to myself. Yeppie and all the shelves were stocked. They had everything I could ever want. So I had to get a dozen of a variety. I was blown away. They even freshly add your filling to the inside of your donut to order. Wow I am impressed. The girl working the counter was chipper and friendly ! I was so happy to have someone that was a morning person like me!:) This place will be my go to spot for donuts when I am in town! Great Job Pink Box.

I'm sorry but this donut shop is nasty. I just don't see how they even pass inspection. We need a much better and cleaner donut shop here in Lincoln. I'm usually not one to post anything but after going to this place for the first time and seeing how dirty it is, I would think twice before buying donuts from here. In response to your question below, Un-washed pans and baking utensils all over on counter with dried batter on counter behind etc, and this was around 10:00am. Just messy. Baseboards in shop grimy-like with floor dirty. We went in there a second time cause maybe just hectic day first time; same issue. Wished I had taken pictures.

The Perfect Dozen donuts are the best! They're fresh and tasty, Perfect for a quick couple of donuts! I always am late, so there's not always a tremendous amount of varieties but there is always a good amount , and there is always something that I love! Give them a try! Also customer service was great!

Establishment never makes enough donuts for the day. Always out of the popular items. hit or miss on donut holes. Need to plan better.

I personally wouldn't buy any food in a dirty location, and being a business owner myself, a few minutes on a business page can tell you a lot when the owner cares more about being right in an argument than creating a place that serves their community. I'm happy to drive farther and pay more for food safety and good service.

These donuts hit different. Do yourself a favor...go early, go often. Delicious. Period. Best maple anything I've ever had..and the apple fritter was amazing. If you don't like these donuts, you can settle for less and hit the Raley's bakery next door.

Always delicious! Fresh filled and fluffy. It honestly doesn't get more PERFECT than these donuts! AND she's local!! Support your people y'all!!

Credit where credit is due, the donuts here are very good. However, I can't recommend a place right now that not only does not have their staff wearing masks or encouraging their customers to wear masks, but seems to be condesending to the people who are concerned about their "masks are a choice" policy based on the owner responses below or on Facebook. Again, good donut. And if masks aren't your concern, go for it. For me personnally, I won't be back

If you are looking for the BEST donuts and all around shop, you should definitely stop by The Perfect Dozen. They are fresh, delicious, and there is not a spot nearby that even compares. You can even text or facebook them to preorder your order!!!! Laura, the owner, ALWAYS takes care of her customers, and I have come to adore her! In fact, all her staff is amazing. I preorder all the time for every occasion; birthday, baby birth, halloween, valentines, just because, etc. I RARELY give reviews, but when I do, it is 100% deserved. Thanks for being my family's favorite local donut shop!

I have recently been trying to limit my intake of sweets. This is difficult for me and I occasionally cheat. Today was one of those days. I had passed The Pink Box in my car a number of times without stopping. This morning was different. I parked the car and walk into the establishment. The aroma of doughnuts was strong and appealing I arrive late morning and there was not much inventory left. The lady behind the counter was helpful and I ended up selecting three items - a traditional cinnamon roll, a cinnamon doughnut and a maple bar. I took them home to enjoy. I sample just little of each calorie loaded treat. They were OK ... but not fantastic in my opinion. I found them a little doughy and somewhat dry. The flavor was good but not as strong as I would have liked. Note, if I am cheating on my diet, I have really high expectations / standards for the foods in question. Next time I come back, I will arrive much early. I would expect there will be more selections to choose from and the available inventory may be moister.

My 73 year old father-in-law surprised us with some doughnuts this morning before the kids took off to school and I took off for work. This is a great local business, who's owner has been volunteering and contributing to this community for YEARS! I'll be back and I highly recommend visiting for a treat!!

I would love to support this local business if there was an opportunity...and I've tried. Two previous times the store was closed early and today my toddler and I came in at around 9 and there wasn't anything left. I've read some recent reviews and replies... Laura's responses to customer feedback is unprofessional. Partner with other local donut shops to learn how to better manage your market need and service experience. Lincoln does still need a good donut shop. Good luck.

The Perfect Dozen has the freshest and delicious donuts.. I look forward to going there when possible. You have to go in early to get them as they sell out usually between 8 and 9 AM. But i find its worth it to get the best!!!!

Awesome little donut shop! They fill the boston cream donuts to order and their specialty donuts are always great! We drive past half a dozen donut shops to go here!!!

I would go further to get better as they are either a real donut shop that's in it 100 percent open and selling or partially with customers not having want and when we want . If I want at 6,10 or 1 in the afternoon I'll go to Rocklin and get exactly what you want.

My son decided he wanted birthday donuts instead of a cake at his birthday party. Arranging the order and picking them up could not have been easier. The donuts looked amazing and were all decorated in my son's favorite colors and the donuts were absolutely delicious.

Good Doughnuts but business isn't run properly! They always run out and put Sold Out sign on the door. Idea, make more doughnuts before another competitor moves in and takes your customers

After this shop has changed hands a couple of times, we finally have an owner in there that cares about their product. This place is clean, has friendly service, and hands down best donuts around!!!

Great doughnut shop, ignore the negative reviews. Went on a Sunday and they are so busy with large orders it's amazing they can keep up.

UPDATE TO MY UPDATE: "anyone else who can intellectually absorb my response", that's all I needed to hear to change my review from 3 stars to 1. I will 100% be taking my business elsewhere. Literally every other business in lincoln (and most of the US) is wearing masks because it is the right thing to do. It doesn't matter if I'm 6 feet from you. You are handling my food. Your face is within inches of my food. Like I said, I purchased the donuts because I myself am not worried if I catch Covid, however, I am worried for the people around me. I posted 3 stars based on the quality of the donuts & the selection. I mentioned the lack of masks so people can make an informed decision before visiting your business. I will patronize a business that cares about their customers because hey, as you said, it is my right. Update now that I have tried the new Perfect Dozen. Donuts were good, slightly better selection than what you would've seen at pink box at 9:30am. However, not one single employee had a mask on. I'm not scared about the virus for myself, but we live in a community with a lot of elderly people. By not wearing masks, you are telling our elderly that you don't care about their health & safety. Every single customer that entered the building had a mask on, and you could almost see a smirk on the blonde woman's face behind the counter. Something tells me the people working there/the owners think that COVID is a hoax. So do what you want with that info. If you are worried about COVID, this is not the place for you.

The perfect dozen is the perfect name for this donut shop. They really provided the perfect dozen. All of my coworkers at the District Attorney's office enjoyed the sweet treat. The employees worked quickly and were helpful.
