I really loved the food here. The waiters/hosts were really amazing people and hospitable. The price for the food is really fair and good. My mom said the atmosphere made her feel like home. 10/10 would recommend.

Google
Pink Garlic Indian Cuisine in Allen Park never disappoints! The food is packed with flavor—everything tastes fresh and authentic. The butter chicken was perfectly balanced, and the garlic naan was the best I’ve had in a while. The customer service was just as impressive. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you’re looking for great Indian food in the area, this place should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend checking it out!

Google
Pink Garlic Indian is hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had—and I’ve eaten at many Indian restaurants across the U.S. Every dish I tried was packed with authentic flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and just the right amount of heat. The food wasn’t just delicious; it was truly exceptional. One of the standout highlights was the naan bread. Unlike some places that serve pita-like bread, this was the real deal—soft, slightly sweet, and clearly made from scratch. It complemented the dishes beautifully. Beyond the food, the experience was just as impressive. Pink Garlic is a family-owned restaurant with roots in the U.K. and locations around the world. Despite its small size, the decor gives it a high-end feel. The staff was warm, welcoming, and patient, making the dining experience even better. I have absolutely no complaints. If you’re looking for top-tier Indian cuisine, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Google
Everything that we ordered was fresh and tasted amazing! This was our first time eating Indian food, and I'm glad we went. I ordered the chicken Tika masala with the garlic Naan. Everything blended together very well. The food was savory and had a great price point. My family and I will be back to try more of the menu.

Google
The table was dirty and the space was small. BUT the service was pretty good and the food was good. I LOVED the garlic and cheese Naan. I thought the cheese would be kind of melted on top but it was baked in!!!! My butter chicken was good and had a sweetness to it, which i enjoyed! My partner had the lamb saag which was a little unseasoned but all in all we had a good experience.

Google
Do not second-guess yourself on this Restaurant. Everything about this place did not disappoint. The appetizers and dinner were absolutely fabulous and full of flavor, the portion sizes are very nice, I was able to bring some of my meal home for tomorrow’s lunch! The service was excellent, our waiter was very friendly and attentive, which enhanced our dining experience. He answered all my questions and trust me there was a lot! I even tried the mango lassi, and it was sooooo delicious, very smooth and refreshing, a definite must get! Do yourself a favor and give them a try! We all shared the butter chicken, tikka masala, chicken Chetinado, pink garlic chicken, Momo’s, garlic cheese nan, peshwari nan, kulcha nan and the mix starter …. All amazing!!! Can’t wait to return and try more! Enjoy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Every time phenomenal food and service regardless of they crazy busy carry out and packed dine in. Well done !! Update: we keep returning to this amazing place. Consistency, accuracy and top quality customer service impressed us.

Yelp
We normally get Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala whenever we are trying a new Indian Restaurant to compare restaurants. The sauces were both very flavorful and creamy. I loved this Tikka Masala sauce and my husband loved the Butter Chicken sauce better. Both sauces were probably #1/#2 best restaurants sauces we've had. We also tried the plain naan, garlic naan, and garlic and cheese naan. This was probably the best naan we've had - they were super fluffy and satisfying. I also felt like they have a good portion for each naan as well. Service was great, very polite and fast. We will definitely be back!

Melissa S.

Yelp
What a fantastic addition to a growing list of excellent Allen Park restaurants! The menu is packed with delicious options for any pallet. Delicious meat dishes, flavor loaded vegetarian items, even kid friendly classics. My husband and I have tried nearly everything, both through carry out and dining in. These are our favorites so far: Lamb Rogan Lamb Korma Butter Chicken Chicken Manchurian (spicy and good) Saag Paneer Tarka Dal Helpful hints: Dal = lentils Gobi = cauliflower Aloo = potato Paneer = cubed cheese with a texture like tofu Dining in gives you the option to choose your spice level. Personally, medium is just right, but mild is for beginners and almost all carryout orders are made mild. There are no tap water or free refills on soda. Water is available bottled. They are always short on ice if you like your beverage really cold, you're out of luck... I want them to get an ice machine soooo bad. The service is always with a smile and we just love this place so much and are so glad they are so conveniently located. Try them out! If you're not sure what to order, they will help you out with a wonderful recommendation.

Yelp
This was the first time visit for my wife and I. The dining room is charming. The staff were very professional and friendly. The meat samosa appetizer was delicious and perfect, served with three unique dipping sauces. From fragrant and sweet to slightly spicy. The Saag Paneer was absolutely perfect. The Pink Garlic Special Biryani was the only dish that failed to impress. Thrown together like leftovers the flavors hit the palate in a very unbalanced mixture. I would recommend rethinking the offering. The garlic naan was fabulous. This is a charming little place with great potential. I am eager to try some of the other recipes in the future. Cheers My one critical disappointment is the restaurant's policy of not serving water, other than water for purchase. Crumby policy. Pink Garlic Special Biryani Saag Paneer Meat Samosa

Yelp
Our first visit - but it definitely won't be our last. We tried the garlic soup first - delicious with creamy lemongrass broth and ground chicken. We got the #10 appetizer- samosas, pakora, chicken tikka & tandoori chiwith 3 dipping sauces - mint, mango and tarragon. So flavorful we got 4 chicken wings- fried very delicately . No sauce. Very good..garlic and cheese naan . To drink -mango lasso . Ice water was smart bottle and we got a nice hot towel to wash our hands service was a 10 -Sam and Mika I think. The customer s were like family- we shared our menu items . So fun

Yelp
I finally got a chance to check this place out. Overall, my experience was good from the time we came in to the time we left. Service was good, food came out in a decent time, food portion was large enough to take home for lunch the next day. I can't say I'm all that impressed despite the hype behind this place. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't the best I've ever had. The table next to us raved about this place. They dine here often so they must be doing something right. My absolute favorite dish was the yellow rice. That was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'd come just to get a side of that alone. The dining area is small/very intimate. We came at a busy time but were able to be seated immediately. I wouldn't mind going back to try other menu items. They have a large menu to explore.

Lauren S.

Yelp
I'm unsure why there are so many amazing reviews because my experience fell completely short. The service was good but my family and I all thought the dishes lacked flavor and spice. I also ordered the mango lassi and was disappointed with the taste. It was confusing to say the least because of what the majority of people had to say about this place We went during the summer when there was no AC running so it made the experience more poor, unfortunately.

Leslie T.

Yelp
I'm new to Indian cuisine but I absolutely loved everything we tried at Pink Garlic and we can't wait to return. Good service. Cute and cozy atmosphere.

Nav S.

Yelp
My family and I recently dined at pink garlic for Mother's Day dinner. Service was quick we had made reservations a week before and when we arrived we were seated quickly. It's a very cute little place and as we were seated we realized they had many customers that were returning ( always a good signs), they were very busy for a Sunday evening also (another good sign). Our server was very attentive and quick. We ordered many items as we were a big group, so I'll listen them below: Starters: tandoori chicken full 10/10 Chicken shashlik 10/10 Momo 10/10 Samosa 10/10 Main entree: chicken tikka masala 10/10 Chicken madras 10/10 Saag paneer 8/10 ( too much cream) Veg korma 8/10 ( way to creamy) Chicken tikka biryani 10/10 Chicken tikka wrap 9/10 ( wasn't fond of the sweet taste) Garlic naan 10/10 Naan 10/10 Dessert: pistachio kulfi 10/10 Malai kulfi Ras malai 10000/10 (show stopper) Drinks: mango lassi 8/10 ( to much yogurt flavor) Overall this is definitely one of the best Indian places to go to for Indian food. Food was extremely good and fresh. Service was top notch. Can't wait to go back and try other thing Parking is available on the side

Annette F.

Yelp
Highly recommend! We couldn't be happier to have a new Indian restaurant near us. Pure perfection......the service & food weren't lacking in anything.

Russel H.

Yelp
Shrimp curry, appropriately spiced, with water and naan for $20 pre-tip. Hard to beat that for dinner. Delicious, excellent service, extensive and varied menu. Highly recommended

Tristan V.

Yelp
This is my third time ordering from this Location and it's always perfect. If you enjoy spicy food, I highly recommend the chicken curry with a side of cheese and garlic naan. The sweet sauce that comes with the curry complements it perfectly. Thank you, Ray, for giving me three extra sauces on the house.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Great visit! I had tomato soup, a customized naga/sagawa king prawn dish, and pink garlic naan bread. All outstanding! The tomato soup is life-changing (simple Indian tomato soup that was well-balanced between sweet and spicy profiles). So good! And for my entree, I was trying to decide between two prawn dishes, so the owner said he would create a dish combining elements from both dishes. That was so nice. So I had tandoori prawns sautéed with spinach in a naga sauce. This is a spicier dish, but I like my food spicy. The naga sauce imparts a nice roasted spice flavor into the dish. And the way the chef treated the preparation of the prawns was spot-on. And the naan was excellent too. Very satisfying meal!

Yelp
I love Indian food and was excited to try a new place in Allen Park as the region is a bit sparse for international flavors. And when I think of international flavors, I think of Indian food. Sadly, they didn't hit the mark. The soft drinks were tepid and flat. Mine had a nice chuck of onion floating in it. No one is paying attention. The naan was still mostly dough, not hot and the type of dough seemed to be bisquick or pancake mix or something. I don't think t was proper naan in any way. The butter chicken meat was very under-cooked and got served still somewhat raw. I don't think it amounted to a single skinless chicken breast. It's probably a good thing in this case. The rice pudding was absolutely spoiled. The milk/cream had gone bad and the taste was quite foul. The meal was a total disaster. It's a no go for me.

Lauren W.

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience with this restaurant last night when I needed to order for a large group (about 6-7 people). The gentleman on the phone helped me figure out how much food I needed to order and I ended up getting the half tray butter chicken, half tray rice, mixed grill appetizer, samosas, and naan bread. It was very reasonably priced and the staff were so helpful. They even brought the food out to my car so I wouldn't have to carry it. Excellent service, excellent food, and it ended up being MORE than enough food. Thank you, Pink Garlic!!!

Alesia W.

Yelp
This food was sooo good! The most tasty Indian food ever. Simply delicious! They also have great customer service. Very accommodating. The only warning is when u order no spice it is still spicy, but was too good to stop eating it.

Patrick V.

Yelp
Tried this place out. My husband and I love Indian food and hard sometimes to find a good restaurant downriver. We usually go to Dearborn to get our Indian food but a friend had mentioned this new restaurant out. We tried many things and all were great. The service here is excellent and everyone is so nice to make you feel welcome right when you want in. I would definitely recommend this place when you are thinking Indian food.

Mary F.

Yelp
Visited the Allen Park location. Service was phenomenal and the staff very attentive. The food was very fresh, quickly prepared, delicious and authentic. The warm towels provided at the end of our meal was a very nice touch. Will definitely return.

Rick R.

Yelp
I was nervous NOT to repeat the Indian restaurant scene from Ted Lasso! Ordered the butter chicken MILD. Should have asked for "a little" spice! It was delicious! I also got Tandoori chicken which was perfect! They have this small space decorated very classy.

Waleed S.

Yelp
Good service, fast & reliable takeout & most important great tasting food with generous portions

Yelp
We've always loved the Pink Garlic restaurant in Oak Park but it's take out only. My wife and I were in the Allen Park area and decided to give this sit down restaurant a try for an early dinner and boy are we glad we did!! The restaurant is extremely clean with comfortable seating and bright natural light from the large windows. We were greeted by the friendly manager Ray who was so personable and a pleasure to talk with. Our server Sam was also awesome and took great care of us. But the food.....it was even better than Oak Park!! We started with the appetizer sampler of chicken tikka, pakora and a samosa. Served with a trio of delicious sauces. Wonderful!! Our entrees of lamb korma and chicken tikka masala were a perfect medium spice. So good. The naan was also perfect. This place is incredible, and although far from where we live, we will definitely be back. A true gem!!

Abir C.

Yelp
Had the opportunity to stop by Pink Garlic tonight and wow was I impressed. Very friendly staff very much attentive to details throughout the entire meal. We ordered prawn puri for appetizers and for the meal paneer Tikka Shaslic, fried rice, lamb curry, tarka Daal, tandoori roti and Garlic naan. All dishes were bursting with flavors. Definitely the #1 Indian restaurant in metro Detroit!!!!

Sabrina W.

Yelp
The food was incredible! I had the chicken tikka Marsala and ordered it medium heat. The service was immaculate! We felt like royalty!! Warmed towels at the end of the meal was the icing on the cake. The restaurant felt wonderful and welcoming. I will definitely recommend to everyone

Jay C.

Yelp
Pink Garlic is my new favorite restaurant. You won't find a more flavorful meal around. Service is always fantastic and kind. Restaurant is clean and welcoming. Outside of free food for life, there's not a thing they could do to make me enjoy it more. Absolutely love this place and you will too. Live outside the box and give it a try. Absolutely delicious!

Holly M.

Yelp
With all of the positive reviews I was very excited to try this place. We tried a few dishes and they were all fine, just fine. Every dish was lacking on spices, and for some reason everything was mildly sweet. There are better places nearby.

Lynn R.

Yelp
Food is always amazing. I never knew how much I loved Indian food until I ate from here. Love it!

Raneen T.

Yelp
The food so fresh and delicious! Even my kids enjoyed the rice and curry. The fried onion balls and carrot balls were a hit!

Yelp
Hottest NEW restaurant Downriver just opened, full Dining ROOM place packed opening Day . Located on Ecorse next door to Wishbone Chicken easy to find Allen Park Mi. All hand's on deck, including the owner a really nice guy. He opened first location Oak Park 2021 take out only, now this and another in Shelby Township soon. Highly rated in all Metro Detroit articles for a very good reason . Beautiful Dining Room with linen topped tables, fancy dressed waiter's and Hot Towels at the end of your meal. You can say a 5 star experience makes this a must visit. Note since opening takeout orders running a hour and had wait for dining room so be patient. Here's what we ate, my instant addiction Momos OMG . What are chicken momos? These are bite sized snacks from Nepal and Tebet but they have made their way around the globe and are now popular everywhere. I like to think of chicken momos like chicken samosas but so much lighter. If you like Chinese Dumplings you gotta try these. Mix Starter Consisting of Vegetable samosa pakora chicken tikka and Tandoori... Tandoori Mix Grill (1pc Tandoori Chicken, 1 Pc Lamb Chop, 2 Pcs Sheek Kabob, 2 Pcs Shrimp... Lentils Soup and Mega Chicken Wings . Butter Chicken (Special Marinated Boneless Chicken Strips Grilled And Cooked... and Pink Garlic Special Naan filled with Chicken and Spices WOWED. Prices are 30 percent plus cheaper than those Indian Restaurant in Dearborn on Michigan Ave. So excited to visit many more times for the Lamb and Goat dishes. Plenty of Vegetarian foods and desserts. We spent 2 hour enjoying our host's and marvelous food. Go tickle yo tongue for some of the very best Indian food in Metro Detroit. See full menu here https://pinkgarlicmi.com/menu/ Follow on Facebook Yelp and Google many hundred 5 star reviews Enjoy @pink_garlic21 #pinkgarlicindiancuisine #indianfood #momos #butterchicken #tandoorimixedgrill #samosa #lentilssoup #downriverfriendseat

Yelp
I was really excited when I saw we had an Indian restaurant coming to Allen Park. Unfortunately, the excitement lessened when we ordered. We got Chicken Tikka Marsala and Butter Chicken which literally tasted identical. We also got their Pink Garlic special biryani but I couldn't try it due to allergies. I hope they get it together; if you're going to include ingredients that in a dish you should probably include all the ingredients for those who have food allergies. Rated a mid because that's what it was; not the worst but not the best. Dearborn is too close with delicious Indian restaurants so they're gonna need to get it together of something.

Laurel N.

Yelp
We've been here 3 times since their opening. Service is outstanding. Food is very good. Samosas, garlic naan, butter chicken, Chana masala, chicken biryiani are all excellent.

Denise B.

Yelp
Visited the Allen Park location and was very pleased. Service was great and the food was fabulous! Authentic Indian cuisine! Will definitely be a go to spot for me. The restaurant at South is small but the service was eloquently done and you would think you were in a high-priced restaurant.

Jeff S.

Yelp
This spot opened by me - decided to give it a go. Yeah, even if I was inebriated I would skip this place. Opted for the standard butter chicken, lamb korma, garlic naan, and samosa. There was nothing I was impressed with. One samosa had enough breading for five of them and they tasted like a pasty. Which are gross - yeah I said pasties are gross. Deal with it. The garlic naan was sans garlic. The butter chicken - was literally naked chicken tenders in sauce. Then, the greatest disappointment was the lamb korma. It was near inedible with the amount gristly fat from untrimmed meat on top of it being... chewy. So it's going to be a hard pass from me going forward. I'll stick to the spot in West Dearborn that has Flames in the name.

Greg C.

Yelp
Small, relaxing restaurant with excellent food and service. There were two other parties at tables while I was there and regular traffic to the counter for take out orders. Staff was courteous and attentive. I ordered Chicken Wings lightly spicy appetizer and Saag Aloo Dish from the vegetarian menu. Did not use rest room during my visit. Will return.

Monica G.

Yelp
They try very hard to please! The korma is delicious! The butter chicken was very good!

Rhonda S.

Yelp
We read the reviews of Pink Garlic and had to try it out. Our service was superb as was the food. I had the grilled Chicken Tikka Balti which was delicious. My husband had the Butter Chicken. It is the best either of us had ever tasted. I highly recommend giving Pink Garlic a try

Anthony S.

Yelp
The food is terrific and the service is just as good! The owner could not be friendlier, and my girlfriend and I always love going there.

Angie P.

Yelp
the best butter chicken, with the most kind workers. I would give up my first born child for this food.

G M.

Yelp
Our experience here was fabulous. The food was delicious and flavorful! We will definitely return!

Jill L.

Yelp
For an appetizer they recommended Onion Bhaaji which was delicious with the sauce accompanying it! For my entree, I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala along with garlic Naan and rice pudding to finish off an excellent meal! Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere!

Marsha R.

Yelp
We went to Pink Garlic Indian Cuisine in Allen Park, Michigan for dinner. We had Saag Paneer, Garlic Nann, Lamb Biryani, Peshari Nann, Papadam, and meat and veggie samosas. The meat samosas rocked, all the bread was the best we have ever had, and the lamb was the most tender, melt in your mouth meat. We loved everything but had to bring half home for another meal. The service was top shelf and we had a great meal and a great time. Best Indian WE have had in years!

Mike C.

Yelp
After moving downriver from Troy I found there weren't many Indian restaurants in the area. Found Pink Garlic and that will be all I need. The butter chicken was fabulous! Best I've had. The rice wasn't clumpy at all and the cheese Naan bread was fantastic. Small place but they are doing a great job!

D M.

Yelp
Amazing service! Very personable, friendly owner, Ray. Food/spice level made-to-order. The food was the best Indian I've ever had. We had mixed appetizers, vegetable pakora, and the biggest, most delicious samosas I've ever seen. We tried masala and korma, among other entrees, everything was beyond our expectations. The business was comfortable and very clean. Highly recommend!

Mj L.

Yelp
The food was really tasty and the staff made great recommendations. Amazing customer service!!!

Cassie W.

Yelp
The food and service is amazing. For a restaurant that is so new I see great things for them in the future. Prices are beyond fair and portions are great. Chicken Korma is my favorite dish here. Highly recommend!

Barbara S.

Yelp
Food was so good. Made to order and as spicy or mild as desired. Definitely try the Mix Starter and the Butter Chicken and Sonosa. Service was exceptional and attentive but not intrusive. The staff was truly interested if the spice-level, taste and quality to our liking. The restaurant was bright and clean. Very cozy.

Ted F.

Yelp
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious. The best I've had. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. I will be returning often!

Alayna S.

Yelp
Great service and good food. Everyone was very attentive and gave suggestions on the food. Even brought a warm wet sanitized towel to clean our hands.

Kelly A.

Yelp
The best, cooked fresh to order Indian food, I've ever had. Super nice people and great atmosphere. I'll be back for sure.

Lori K.

Yelp
Food is amazing and the service is impeccable! I wasn't sure what to order so the waiter asked questions and made wonderful suggestion. Hands down one of the best meals I've EVER had. I'm hooked!

Angela B.

Yelp
Worst Indian food I have ever eaten. I ordered vegetable samosas, vegetable korma with rice, and two pieces of plain naan. The samosas were literally coated in salt and came with a cloyingly sweet sauce that was inedible. I have never had salted samosas in my life and this blunder was a precursor to the rest of my meal. My vegetable korma was bland and completely devoid of any seasoning. That was an absolute first for me! Most Indian food is flavorful. This was undercooked vegetables in a weird mayonnaise tasting sauce that was separating in the container. The naan was way too soft (almost soggy) leading me to doubt it was actually made in a tandoor. I would have been better off getting a ready to eat curry packet from the grocery store.
