The 22 Best Restaurants in Malmö, Sweden | Eater

"The original location of Pink Head Noodle Bar is by far the best stall at the busy Malmö Food Court (Saluhallen) in the newly developed area of Västra Hamnen. The menu is built around three noodle-based dishes that change frequently. The hand-pulled-to-order biang biang noodles are a consistently solid choice, especially when served with the house-made XO sauce, known locally as “Hong Kong Heroin Sauce” — it’s that addictive. A slightly out-of-the-ordinary restaurant. I ordered a ramen soup with handmade noodles and duck – absolutely delicious! Friendly and attentive staff. Relatively inexpensive, in my opinion. Highly recommended!

I am a very critical reviewer where my 2 stars means a pass and 3 stars means good (I don’t want gmap review to be inflated like shit, which is sadly the reality). Was gonna rate it 2 star but the staff is SOOOO nice! I guess I am from HK and they really wanted to know my comment! I told them my honest comment which is below: The Biang is good (3.5 stars) and the spice is on the point for me! The Kung Pao Chicken is not authentic but still well made (2.5 stars). Especially the crispy part of it. However the Tan Tan Ramen is too salty… (1 star) I told the chef about all this and they feel happy and energetic. I hope more improvement is gonna be made and if, I have a chance to visit Malmö again, I will definitely try this and hope for improvement! Also price-wise, it is cheap among that place where every restaurant meal is around 500kr lmao.

Got the pork tantanmen. Not a fan. The broth was a little too sweet, it had cucumbers instead of bokchoy, and it lacked the nuttiness and creaminess that I look for in a tantanmen. That being said, the vibes in the restaurant were really good -- you order and pay through a QR code on each table, food came quickly, decor was cozy, playlist was banger after banger.

The staff was very kind and welcoming even if we arrived just 25 min before it closed. The food was great

The dish was a delicious art! Loved the quality of ingredients. Perfectly matched with their signature beer. Pricier than some other options in Malmö, but let's say the quality, service, and design are worth it!

We were drawn in by the swedish chefs making noodles and quite the hard stuff as well (ramen and biang biang noodles is not easy to master). Firstly, The service was great, she was friendly and attentive and she looked like she enjoyed what she does which adds to the atmosphere. The food was very good, the Xi'an lamb biang noodles: the noodles were consistent with authentic freshly pulled noodles, the lamb was braised perfectly although I think the pickle was a nice touch it added made the already sweet sauce (which I think tasted like siracha and tomatoes) even sweeter. The shoyu ramen was also very good and charshu was executed well only criticism is the pickled onion and the peas was a weird touch. Overall it's a very good place to eat, it's somewhere that you can go often and I can't fault the chef for being creative even if it didn't land for me it might have landed for the swedish pallette.

Changing to QR code service was a fantastic idea and the food is still as good as always 😌✨ It's Swedish spicy with a twist on ramen 🍜

Super slow to get food. Once we got it was good, ramen lacked depth of flavor in the broth.
