This was my 1st time ever getting a pedicure. I booked online for a L1 pedi which costs $38. The website is super cute and easy to navigate. The shop itself smells so good! All the scents from the bathbombs, scrubs, and creams (made in-house) add to the soothing environment. If you are sensitive to smells, it might be overwhelming though. The shop is cute, but TINY! I was squeezing past people and felt a general sense of 'being in the way'. They have a HUGE selection of colors to choose from! My nail tech was Chrissy. She didn't talk much, but I didn't mind. The only things that rubbed me the wrong way getting my pedi from Chrissy were:
1. She didn't let the 1st coat(s) dry completely before applying another, which caused an ugly ripple effect. In low light you won't notice it. It was pretty darn sunny when I went, so the rippling was immediately evident.
2. She left me under the nail dryer and forgot about me. Another nail tech came by and asked me how long I had been sitting there and then told me that if her clients were already done (they were there before me), that I should be done. This other nail tech was the one to check my nails, turn my dryer off, and give me some sandals. As I was walking out, Chrissy was busy giving someone else a manicure. :/ I understand you have other appointments, but please don't neglect clients you've yet to finish servicing :(.
I'm going to redo my toes myself, even though they do have a 72 hr policy for redoing work. Other than that, the place seems nice. If I had a different nail tech, perhaps the review would be better.
