Pinkerton Wine Bar had a strange subconscious calling for me when I visited last Saturday, as I realized I had been there a few years back, despite usually being very aware of places I have previously visited.
The vibe is great. It is woodsy, and I loved the small details, such as the ship on what appeared to be a wine closet. The atmosphere is dark and intimate, but because it is quite popular, it is not the most quiet place. However, I had no trouble talking with my friend or the bartenders.
One thing is very consistent about Pinkerton Wine Bar: the bartenders are amazing. They were amazing last time I visited, and they were amazing this time. I wish I had gotten their names, but it was my third drinking place of the night.
I do not know if I can even accurately describe what each wine tasted like because I was happily buzzed, but I remember that they all tasted great. We each got two glasses of white wine, and then decided to split a glass, but the bartender actually gave us nearly a full cup's worth each. I really wish I had gotten her name; she was a VIP.
The olives were just olives, nothing special about them.
The bathroom was not dirty, but it also seemed like it was being used for storage.
I had unintentionally returned to Pinkerton Wine Bar, and I will be returning again if I am in the area, specifically because of the amazing bartenders and the overall good vibes.
