I try to remain impartial and not be obligated to give 5-star reviews just because a place is a small business. With that being said, this place is a good 5-star. A little weird I will say that but that’s the intended vibe. Great how they support small artists. The food was surprisingly good so feel free to get that.

Super cute artist-driven cafe! Whimsical metal artwork caught my eye on the front of the building so I stopped in to find a large cafe space with plenty of seating. The cafe has Japanese bites, coffee/tea + pastries, and a bar for alcoholic drinks too. There is a piano you can play, books/games to borrow, and even a nook to relax or take a nap. They also have various events to check out too! Artists can collaborate with the space to host events for free. The owner said "This is a space for everyone" ☺️ Def recommend for a large, quiet, artistically driven working space or meet up with friends

Cute cafe focused around live performances. We visited on a Friday night and saw many great live performances in a cute/intimate setting! They offer drinks and a small menu for food. Overall it was a great experience

I'd love to give this place 5 stars because it's absolutely adorable and very unique + cozy, but there are a couple small things in the way. They have no decaf options for tea or espresso which seems like a big miss for any cafe. Except for their sweet honey yuzu syrup thing. Effectively, it means people who want a hot beverage who also want to sleep at a reasonable hour can't get a drink there. The service is very sleepy and inattentive. I was told that my number would come up "on the screen" but I wasn't given a number or a receipt so I was just waiting around for 20 mins for my latte before I realized it was just sitting on the counter. They didn't call out the drink order or anything. Overall though, super cute vibe. I really appreciate the stage seating and the collaboration with local artists.

this business operates in the worst way possible - expect long lines and waits at the register as they hold you hostage to buy a drink before you can get a seat. You have to spend $10 mandatory on top of your concert ticket, which i would understand at something like sony hall or a nice jazz club. But this is basically a coffee shop that serves premade canned cocktails that aren’t even really cocktails bc it’s not real liquor and food that is obviously prepackaged and microwaved. they need to 1 - just include the drink minimum or whatever you need in the ticket price - a $10 mandatory that you claim “makes the performances free” does not infact make the performances free. 2 - allow guest to sit before they order 3 - get a liquor license so they can serve real drinks 4 - no microwave meals all in all don’t go here this place sucks

This place has funky décor, great food and drinks, and an awesome artist-driven ethos of supporting live music. For a concert, there's a $10 minimum of food/drinks, and they need to figure out a better system so that long lines don't form at the single register (or maybe have more staff taking and filling orders?), so get here early and find a seat to enjoy your beer or milk tea and delicious fries!

The iced coffee had barely any ice and tasted watery and burnt. The staff didn’t let us know when our food was ready. We had a group of 5 and one of our friends didn’t want coffee but they made him buy something if he was going to sit in there with us. Overall the vibe was way off. Maybe because we aren’t artists and it is supposed to be “a space for artists”?

Great to see new musicians, play, and jam together. Cute and unique look to the inside. Nice stage and in tune upright piano.

This is one of the more bizarre businesses I've visited. I feel they have a crisis of identity-- it's part performance venue, part art space, part windowless cafe serving a menu that's a mish mash of many different cuisines. On their menu you'll find empanadas, chicken nuggets, udon, clam chowder, and lamb on rice, among many other dishes that don't seem to follow any cohesion or theme. I've tried chicken over rice and it wasn't bad, though I'm admittedly skeptical to try much else here. They're open during the day and serve coffee so there are a lot of people inside working on their laptops, but I find that the windowless space makes it much too dark for me to feel productive. I can see it working much better as the event space they purport to be. Take a look at their calendar and you'll see a range of events, like mahjong meetups, jazz shows, and open mics. The stage is set in the back, and is just big enough for a few people to stand on, with a set of stairs The owner is a bit of a colorful person herself, but her vibe and the space always gave me a weird feeling. Clearly I'm not the target demographic for this place.

This cafe offers coffee and alcohol with light bites and a cute live piano, which is great for a casual hang out or a spot to get some work done. It's very quaint and cozy, but some of the downside to ny experience today is lack of simple "coffee" and lack of heating. Tried ordering drip coffee, but was told only Americano was available (tiny, 3 sip drink) - disappointing. I stayed to get some work done, enjoyed the live piano and eventually got a mystery beer which you get to select (fair game) BUT for at a price tag of $10 I expected the mystery drink to be in that price range. Disappointing to end up with Sapporo which is regularly $7.50, felt cheated. Yea, I selected the mystery drink but this shouldn't have been an option with a $10 price tag. Needless to say, not sure I would recommend mystery beer. Overall, still a cute cafe for coffee and alcohol to socialize.

Performed here with my friend/artist! Such a unique gem of a cafe! Loved the ceiling lights and stage design. They have a plethora of unique acts each night, of which Japanese jazz sounded so intriguing! I encourage everyone to check out this cafe for a show supporting talent. I will try a boba tea next visit. Go, enjoy!

We felt welcome here in this clearly beloved Brooklyn destination (coming from Manhattan). The space feels like a home for the owners and guests. A friend performed a show here, which we enjoyed, while having some drink specials . We wanted to order some nibbles but the only vegetarian option is edamame. The owners chatted in a very warm way. I look forward to a return visit, with or without a show.

I came here to see a show, which I quite enjoyed. However, everything else was very disappointing. The place has no vegetarian entrees, which is disappointing. So, I ordered the edamame and seaweed salad, as those were my only options as someone who doesn't eat meat. They took forever to come out, which I assumed meant they were being freshly prepared. I was very incorrect on that. The seaweed salad was obviously pre-packaged and the edamame was unsalted and ice cold. Very disappointed in my experience here.

Not great experience... The place is different, stuffed animals hanging from the ceiling? The staff wasn't super friendly either. To be honest they were actually kinda mean. Pastries were so bad! This little tart with blueberry was weirdly grainy and the chocolate croissant was old (hard to bite into)!

Such a cool space in Williamsburg! I really loved their taro latte, it's unique and just super cozy for this insane cold right now. I enjoyed their muffins as well! The wait for our food and drinks took FOREVER though so I wouldn't recommend coming here on a weekend :(

This restaurant specializes in American Asian fusion food. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food nor was I impressed with the hefty price tag. I got the chicken nuggets with fries after looking on some Yelp photos thinking it looked promising. However when the nuggets came I realize it was just frozen chicken nuggets. That was a disappointment but too add onto it, I paid $15 for frozen chicken nuggets and frozen fries, which made the experience underwhelming. I didn't try their other food but my friend got the chicken over rice and she said it was too salty. They also had a $10 minimum requirement so that is something to keep in mind of. This is also a no service eatery. The person that took our order was a bit rash and wanted us to order quickly but there was a couple of people lined up behind my friend and I. Overall, I will not be coming back.

I want to like this place, but the girl who owns it is extremely rude. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is cause the space is very beautiful and we enjoyed performing here. However the lady who owns this place has no manners, a terrible attitude, was so difficult, greedy and unorganized. She deserves 0 stars. They say this space is run by artist for artist, but she makes you feel unwelcomed, takes all the ticket profits for herself (even though the space is already paid to rent out), and was rude to all my guest attending the event. The sound guy was a pleasure, but the woman is a terrible business owner. Don't see this place being around much longer due to her.

Cozy community space. They have a stage for performances and had a variety of events with a focus on the arts. Lots of tables to lounge around at. Perfect spot for to meet for a quick first date or to just hang out with friends. They sell coffee, tea, alcoholic beverages, and some pastries.

Such a cute and cozy spot right near the Bedford stop on the L. If you work remotely and want to switch it up from your typical coffee shop, I would highly recommend pinkFROG. Owned by artists, you can tell that love and care was put into this spot. They feature many pieces of artwork by local artists, and even have a cool stage-like area which is open to the public to use. I have been here multiple times-- one for just hanging out in the evening and the other to see an evening show. When it comes to the food, the best thing about pinkFROG is that you can sample many different Asian street foods all in one place. They also have standard coffee/tea for the mornings and daytime, as well as some cocktails, sake, and other wine options which are very affordable.

I can't recommend this cafe enough if you're looking for a place to quietly read or work, online or offline. My yuzu drink was solid, but the interior here is what really stands out. There's an actual tree inside that makes you feel like you're transported to another world when you step inside. The earthy tones exude warmth and comfort, and the tiered seating and old-fashioned lamps in the back remind me of a cross between a library and lecture hall, which was the perfect atmosphere I needed to get in the zone and do work. Bonus points for having a fair amount of outlets as well as proactively posting their wifi password under the tablet at the counter. I almost don't want to share this place in fear that it might get too rowdy and ruin the peaceful allure, but it'd be selfish of me to keep this gem to myself. Will definitely be back!

tldr: super spacious café-- great place to hang out or get work done. Drinks were pretty average, and food options were limited but enjoyable! Came in on a Tuesday afternoon to get some coffee and work done. The server was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He gave several food and drink recommendations while also telling me about the cafe concept. Loved the integration of local art and printed products to showcase them. It is so. spacious. If you are tired of going to a cafe and finding it so full that there is no place to sit down, stop. Look no further. There is so much seating/tables available, and it is not cramped at all. (I had a ton of stuff with me, I was nearly taking up two tables but there was no cause for concern because there was still plenty of empty space for others.) Also, for anyone planning to do work, there are plentiful outlets for your numerous chargers. As far as food/drinks, I started with a Thai latte with oat milk (the flavored lattes were highly recommended). It wasn't unbearably sweet-- and for someone who thinks a plain latte is too sweet, this is saying a lot! Then I got the crazy chicken bowl. (The vegetable pancake and dumplings were also highly recommended). It was pretty incredible. I don't know what they flavored that chicken with but it certainly deserved a crazy good rating. The only reservations I have is that areas of the cafe were very dimly lit. Maybe it was just the ambience they were going for, but I found my eyes having to adjust to the light changes quite often. I also found their drink menu to be quite average. But if in the area again, I would certainly return either to try other food options or just to hang out! p.s. nice and clean, spacious bathroom!

Unassuming from the outside, this is a hidden gem in north Williamsburg. Coffee here is great, but there is so much more! The food is tasty (I ordered the apple cinnamon pastry and my friend ordered the dumplings), staff are incredibly friendly and the interior design is on point! I can definitely see this being a frequent meet up and hang out spot for my friends and I. Can't wait to come back for an event in the near future.

We went for a friend's show on Wednesday. Night. It was pretty slow, but I liked the location. The food was decent, drinks were ok. I had a beer, my friends had sake cocktails. I would visit again, it looks like it's would a cool place to hang

What a GEM. I rarely write reviews but this place blew my mind. First off, within a min of walking in the owner/cashier greets me and tells me all about the Cade's history, the space, and the fact that it's a haven and performance space for artists. As an independent artist, I'm immediately hooked. Lan, the owner, then serves me one of the best cappuccino I've had in Brooklyn as I explore their space. Within 8 min, my lunch order - the crazy chicken, is ready. When I got home, my mind was blown once again. Legit the BEST lunch I've had in Williamsburg. Fresh, feels healthy, spicy, complex flavors and cooked perfectly. Idk how I didn't find this spot until now but I plan on going through the entire menu

Stopped by during their grand opening weekend. They had promos such as free drip coffee, 50% off chicken nuggets and pan fried dumplings, and 50% yuzu tea. You do have to be vaccinated in order to stay. I ordered an iced latte and my boyfriend ordered a taro latte. The latte was really good - milky and strong. The taro was sweet and the flavor was strong. It would've been better if they put less ice in the taro latte because my boyfriend inhaled the drink! We also ordered chicken nuggets later and I loved the crispy exterior and juicy interior. I wish they had more sauces for the nuggets. I only saw ketchup at the sauce counter. They also have self service water by the bar and alcoholic drinks. It's also very kid friendly. There is a bookshelf in the back by the bathroom with books and toys for kids. This place is great for getting work done. They have free wifi, outlets, bathroom, and plenty of tables. They do have live performances throughout the weekend. I'm not too sure about the weekday schedule. If that does bother you while you work, you can check their ig or site for upcoming shows to avoid going during those times. I do love the idea of free live performances though. The lady at the register, who I assumed was the owner, was very welcoming and patient with me. I noticed she would talk with other customers and made sure they were okay. She said that we can stay as long as we'd like. I'm afraid this place will slowly gain popularity and become very busy. I won't be able to find a place to sit and do work! I would definitely stop by again and possibly try their other foods. They do have a promo of $5 off $15 if you sign up your email with them. It was a great find and another cafe added to my "study spots" list.

How PinkFROG has so few reviews, I have no idea. When my friend and I stumbled in after a day of thrifting in the neighborhood, she said "I'm enchanted by this place," and I can't think of a better way to put it! Right off the bat, we were served by Mickey in the cafe portion, who was so sweet and funny (and witnessed my friend ordering her first taro content ever, which she enjoyed). This taro latte is something else. The foam is perfectly vanilla and nutty, and goes down like a warm hug. I opted to get it sweetened, but they do ask! At around $6.80 you might find slightly cheaper drinks elsewhere, but the space makes it entirely worth it--and then some. Moody lighting, a vast open seating area, shelves of lovely art and music books, and a freshly-tuned piano (which someone DID play, beautifully) makes PinkFROG a calming place for the soul to rest. I felt so cozy I almost fell asleep. At one point, someone I think was Lan, the owner, came out and kindly asked us how we were enjoying the space and told us a little about the new piano and collection of books. Just perfect. I can't wait to come back and try the food!

I went here to get out of the house and work in a different environment. This place has jazz music playing , is not over crowded and has great coffee from devocion. I also ordered the chicken bowl which I thought was ok, but it did fill me up. The chicken pieces could have been seasoned more. I would definitely come back to get work done.

Really cool space, delicious food & drinks, friendly staff, and a really well run performance venue! Great home for comedy shows, concerts, and more, and they treat their artists really well - can't wait to return for more shows!

Ok if I was rating this just for the vibes and ambiance it would be a total 5/5. But unfortunately I'm rating this holistically based on vibes, interior, service and staff, and the food/drink offerings. When it comes to the vibes and space, I was truly so impressed. Super spacious, tons of seating and just a cozy vibe. The staff was a little checked out and not very helpful when I asked about the menu - they sort of just shrugged me off. I got a cappuccino which tbh is kind of hard to mess up and I am by far not a coffee snob but even I could tell it wasn't good. Price wise everything was pretty standard for nyc. Overall, I would come back if I'm in the area since it is a nice spot, I just think the service could be a little better.

About 6.50 bucks for literally a cup of water with Half little spoon of honey yozu syrup you can get from any Asian market

First, I want to say this is my third review of this cafe; I absolutely love it here. My past two experiences have been nothing less than 5 stars and this would have followed the same path, however. Tonight, was a live performance and I suppose it stirs things up a little bit. I had two orders, the first being two hot mocha lattes, with chicken nuggets and French fries. This is the order that dropped the rating from a five, to a four. The mocha lattes, were not hot; there were rather a step above lukewarm. in the case, since it is mocha, the actual particles were not allowed to fully blend into the milk and espresso; leaving chocolate chunk on the surface. A disappointment but not enough to nuke the review, the next thing however was. It took me roughly 35-40 minutes to receive my last order item. At that point, the mocha latte was finished. Then, I went ahead and ordered again, this time just two mocha lattes, with the specific instruction of extra extra hot. Still, came out with little chocolate clumps but substantially smaller in size. Now, I could fully enjoy my meal; at a steeper price than I anticipated due to the incredible delay in service. why two stars when the other times have been good? well there was one barista saving the place with how amazing she makes the lattes, all other times after that I gave the barista the benefit of the doubt but its been bad. Lukewarm mocha latte with huge clumps of mocha powder sitting at the top and having to spend $50 because the first round was horrible, is a bit insane. Then the 35-40 wait, utterly insane. The performance was nice but something you can easily see at other live performances.

Hidden gem in New York! The owners are so welcoming, creative and innovative. They have created such a communal space through their skillful use of architecture and industrial design. I love the atmosphere, food, drinks and live music or even just to read a book- pinkFROG is the cafe for you!

Happy that Williamsburg has a new unpretentious cafe/bar space! Will have to come back for their happy hour deals and jam sessions!

Not exactly sure why this has such high ratings. I got charged $5 for a can of AHA seltzer and $6 for a milk tea that was way too sweet. Plus the ambiance is like a rainforest cafe in Williamsburg?

Per a friend's recommendation, I went with her to pinkFROG cafe for a quick bite of some fusion Asian goodies. I can't even tell you how I felt when I walked into this glorious space. It's truly like walking into a secret garden. There's a GIANT TREE in the middle of the space! The manager (?) told me that the branches were all real and they had to do some sort of process (something about soaking them in water for long time??? Not sure I got it right) to soften it in order to shape them (otherwise they'll break b/c they're too brittle). I can't imagine the care and trouble they took to do this (it's a GIANT tree). There were fantastical creatures (looks like they're made of wood) throughout the space as well as vintage lamps and random stain glass windows. You really have to see the space on your own... it almost transports you to another dimension that's manifested from someone's wild dream of an artist space, whether it be paintings, printing, sculptures, or performance arts. I came for food and ended up obsessing over the decor and ambiance. Right, food. The food that we had were an eclectic mix of: Takoyaki (apparently straight from Japan), pan fried dumplings (I think they made these themselves - not sure how they made those pretty webbed designs), New England clam chowder (dare I say perfect NE clam chowder - savory, plenty of clams, NOT too gooey, and small chunks of potatoes) and a daily special (sweet potatoes this specific day). I also had a hot yuzu (grapefruit) tea. I think they have a beer and wine license but 4PM was too early for drinks (at least for me, to each their own). I think it's a soft opening so they're still working out some things (the chef wouldn't serve us the yan su ji - Taiwanese fried chicken - because they said it's not yet been marinated long enough to the right flavor and they can't serve customers an "imperfect" product o_O) and finalizing the menu. I got to chat with the manager for a bit since (again, soft opening, not super busy) and she was very nice. She explained a whole lot of other things to me and my friend about the art and how she wants this to be a space for community sharing etc... again I feel really bad b/c I couldn't retain it all... I think this would be a great events venue (they have "stairs" for audience to sit and the sound equipment sounds great from what I could tell from the music they were playing) and from what I hear they do have regular events. I'm gonna try to come back next time to see an event here (and have the d*** Taiwanese fried chicken!!!). I hope this little gem stays around so that more people get to enjoy it! Truly a delight!

really unfortunate customer service experience. 3 of us came and paid $27 each for tickets and bought 5 drinks but were harassed because one person among 3 didn't have a drink. came here for music and was excited to come to mandarin night next week. my wife who doesn't drink who paid for a $27 ticket was harassed to buy a drink. 3 of us were on the same tab bought 5 drinks, which given their "one drink minimum" should cover their minimum for us 3. when closing out we were harassed because my wife didn't buy a drink. very disappointing and shortsighted by the owner. will not come back

This place needs to be seen! It's uniquely decorated. The vibe is so comfortable and intimate. I enjoyed the fruit tea and takoyaki and egg tart I ordered. They also offer lots of different events almost everyday. Chat with the owner and she will tell you her big dream offering a place to accommodate all arts.

If you're looking for a place to work for the day or to grab a coffee/tea with a friend then come here! It's MASSIVE so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a spot. I love their iced oat milk latte and strawberry fruit tea! I personally think their oat latte is the best in Williamsburg (big claim I know!). They also serve beer/wine and some food. I definitely want to come back at night for a casual drink and sit in on one of their events - they appear to have different stuff going on every week!

Amazing vibes very calming space. Live music is amazing. The vibes were so nice there was even moms that brought their babies to sleep in their strollers. Dirty Taro Oatmilk latte was absolutely to die for. Food and drinks were a little expensive but also understandable.

Wonderful place to get a coffee or meet up with friends. There's so much space and it's a nice, relaxed environment. Wi-fi was quick so it's also a good spot for getting some work done. The service was really friendly. I loved the minced pork/tofu over rice and the taro latte. Highly recommend checking this place out!

The best cafe environment in New York. Bold statement but true. The taro tea is incredible. The owner and everyone who works there are so friendly and welcoming. Every day I don't visit pinkfrog is a bad day.

Pink frog is one of my favorite local places that I get my lunches at least once a week. The food and drinks are Asian fusion style and are all delicious. There are often free large tables and Wi-Fi for people who want to get work done. The staff is super friendly and the decor has a really interesting hipster/artistic vibe. Overall just an awesome place.

The flat white I sipped on was delicious and beautifully presented. There is also a selection of cakes, pastries and savoury snacks. I was so glad that we stumbled upon this little gem of a place so if you're in Brooklyn yourself, make sure to swing by.

I love pinkfrog cafe so much! The dumplings are incredible. The chili oil is my favorite. It's a nice cafe too for drinks, live music / entertainment. The owner also is the sweetest. Highly recommend checking this place out

This place is awesome!! The space is thoughtful, pastries and food are delicious, and the staff are so sweet and welcoming. They also have a full bar for evenings and a really phenomenal space for events. It is clean and has plenty of space to work. It's also WOC owned! Support your local businesses!

I live right around the corner from this place and I'm so glad it finally opened. The food is tasty, as are the beverages, and the staff are really friendly. The chicken and rice, Thai tea, and yuzu tea are my favorites. It's great place to come study, work, or hang out. It has a very cozy and homey vibe. My only two constructive comments for the business would be as follows: first, their menu is kind of hard to discern what is what, esp. if you're not super familiar with Asian-fusion food, I think adding some pictures or perhaps descriptions would be greatly beneficial. Second, every time I order a drink the size of the beverage I receive is completely different - I've regularly ordered Americanos and the Yuzu tea and I always get a different size cup but pay the same amount. I just recently visited and was so excited to get my favorite Yuzu tea (which is so delicious, a must try), and when it was ready I got it in a teenie tiny cup (maybe 4-6 oz.), which is fine but the last time I got it it was in a much larger (maybe 12 oz. cup). The drink cost $5 so some uniformity in expectations/product would be appreciated by the customer. As some other reviewers said, this place just opened and I expect is working out some kinks so I am hopeful this is one of them. I would still definitely recommend it and hope it is successful because it is a great addition to the neighborhood.
