I visited Pinkie's Liquor yesterday afternoon and left feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. From the moment I entered, the atmosphere was off-putting. I was loudly asked what I needed across the store, forcing me to announce my interest in allocated bourbons to everyone present. This lack of discretion was the first red flag.
As I browsed, particularly at the front display, the situation didn't improve. Another employee confronted me with a rude tone, asking "What do you want?" while giving me a piercing stare, as if my presence was a burden. This approach made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.
Despite my intention to make a purchase, the unwelcoming and abrasive attitude of the staff led me to leave without buying anything. It's disheartening when you're ready to spend money, and yet you're treated poorly. Customer service is crucial in retail, and unfortunately, Pinkie’s Liquor fell short in this aspect.
I won't be returning to Pinkie's Liquor. A one-star rating feels generous given my experience, which was marked by a lack of professionalism and basic customer courtesy.
