Pinkies Up Beer and Wine

I am late to this review though I was able to visit before the Grand opening and glad I did! After a visit to Crazy Love Coffee nearby, I thought I'd drop by here and made it just before close. The area is in a nice spot not far from Historic Roswell which makes it easy to get in and out. Once I entered, I noticed everyone talking and being friendly with each other - stark contract from taphouses, breweries or even coffee spots that have people everywhere yet no one is interacting. You can easily tell that the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. When it came to the wine and beer selection, there's something for everyone. I was happy to try the Octoberfest / Marzen along with an amazing sour I wish I remembered the name of. The staff was welcoming, people were friendly, drinks were good. Can't ask for more. Definitely the place to go for a weekday or weekend drink to relax when in the area.

We got to meet the owners of this fine establishment yesterday! What beautiful people! They are community – driven people. They love partnering with local vendors and supporting the heck out of anybody that they can. They are very knowledgeable about the beer and wine industry. They have many events that help educate you on their wines and pairing with foods. They know how to do things right! Definitely an upscale place to hang out at, and yet you will feel at home! Plus look at how beautiful their space is! Can’t wait to visit again!!

WOW! What can I say about this extraordinary craft beer and wine lounge. My husband and I have been going here since it opened and it is just outstanding! The beer and wine selections are phenomenal and if you're ever unsure about what to get, the owners are experts at making recommendations. This is a great place to meet with friends, have a drink, play games or bring your own picnic, and just relax in an atmosphere that is super accommodating, comfortable, and customer focused. The proprietors are both amazing people with a world of knowledge regarding their products. I highly recommend that you check this place out. It's fabulous!!

I love these owners... They truly work to educate their customers on why they feel certain wines shine over others. And they definitely take care of their people. It's a great place to go and hang out but also to go shopping for wonder and beer. I bring my two kids all the time and I've never had an issue. Never been in a place like it, and in glad they call Roswell home.

THE BEST!!!! I was introduced to Pinkies UP Beer & Wine through a great friend and they have always exceeded my expectations. Today, I went to purchase vegan wine and Mr. Terrell IS BACK! He was the person who told me all about vegan wine!!.. For those who know and love PINKIES UP BEER & WINE, know that Mr. Terrell has the best taste when it comes to beer and wine. He is articulate, kind, always has great energy and his skill-set is absolutely amazing. He was the person who got me out of my comfort zone and I appreciated it then and I definitely appreciate him now. I write all of this to say, go visit PINKIES UP BEER & WINE and say hello to Mr. Terrell....... Mr. Terrell, WELCOME BACK!

Best things to do in Atlanta list nomination - Sure it’s Roswell, but this place is at the very top of experiences I’ve had in or near the Atlanta metro area. If enjoying new wines and beers in an welcoming, unpretentious environment is for you then this spot is a can’t miss establishment. And if you live in the area, I’m sure it will become a place visit and love time and time again. My first time there was among my all time favorite libation sipping adventures.

My office recently moved placing Pinkies Up right on my route home. If that wasn't the case and I had discovered them another way I definitely would go out of my way to buy draft beer (growler fills) here. Nice selection and variety of styles, knowledgeable owners, and nice atmosphere. I thought it was too good to be true, but this is a great place!

I really don't get the concept here. The "ambiance" is a cross between your Dad's man cave and a Quik Trip. No food is served. The seats aren't comfortable, it's not cozy... The gal behind the counter was VERY nice, and they had a decent selection, but I don't see that they offer anything more enticing than A) my house (cheaper) or B) a restaurant. (Um food!) They've been around a while and good on em - just one opinion.

Terrell, the manager, is amazing - very knowledgeable about wines. Nice, relaxing place to enjoy & learn about wine & beer. Great venue for special events too. We wanted a casual atmosphere for our wedding & reception - so we held it @ Pinkies. Terrell assisted us with planning to ensure it was a wonderful day!

My hubs and I had the best date day! We had a random Saturday without kids and have been wanting to try this place and I'm so glad we did! We had tastings of wine and beers and played Phase 10 (cool touch to have the games on site!) and then came back after dinner for comedy night! Can't wait to do this again!

I pass this shop on my way home every day and finally decided to stop in. I just wanted to pick up a few bottles of wine after a hellish day. I was looking for my go-to Oregon Pinot, and they were able to recommend several that I hadn't heard of. I left with three bottles; one of which I've already opened and can totally vouch that it's delish. Some of the best wines come from smaller, more boutique wineries, and they seem to be well represented here. They mentioned offering wine flight nights coming soon, which sounds really fun. We need that in this area!

Amazingggg!!! First the owner is very informative! She matched me with a wine I absolutely loved. Pinkies Up is a cute space you can come to hang out with friends and even bring in your own food. There are games available to play as well. My Junior League Small Group met you there to catch up! Beer and wine options are readily available. Like any bar, you can open up a tab. Before giving you a full pour, you are able to get a taster which is great just in case. I highly recommend Pinkies Up! ALSO FUN FACT: I forget the name but I think it's "Period Box". But Pinkies Up is a drop off spot for women supplies! This is great to have in the community! We will definitely be back!

What an awesome place! Came in on a whim on a Friday night because we wanted to try something new. Got to speak with the owner/operators about the concept. This is very popular in the Raleigh area where they moved from and were excited to bring it to the Roswell area. How can you ever go wrong with a beer and wine tap room? The selection of each were really nice. The goal for them is to bring in different taps than what are currently being offered in the area. You won't see our local favorites as they are offered in so many other area restaurants and bars. There is no food preparation or snack options. This sits right next to a BBQ place, and several restaurants across the street, they encourage you to bring your food in and stay awhile. This little gem has also been added to the Trolley stops in Roswell. I am excited about my next visit and actually ordering from the wine list. They are going to be hosting a Thanksgiving Wine pairing event on Oct 27th, I can't wait. Hope to see you there.

The best of everything!! The staff is EXTREMELY knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and kind. Everyone who enters is treated with respect and care. I can not recommend it highly enough! I'd give it 100 stars if I could!

Place is weird. Staff unfriendly. Beer wasn't very good and the vibe of the place was odd. No need to go back there.

Over 20 beers and 4 wines on tap, with numerous wines available by the glass as well. They do not serve food, but bringing ones own food in is allowed, so we got a pizza from a nearby place before hand. We stuck to beers tonight and the owner, Melissa, was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the beers on tap and for sale retail. The beers on tap range the spectrum with several IPAs, Belgians, and darker beers. The taps having their own flow control levers to fine tune the beer pours is a testament to the attention to detail here and commitment to excellence as a beer bar. The retail collection of beers contains some real gems such as "Old Engine Oil". I'll be back.

Nice space set up to check email and/or finish up work or just try a beer . There is also a little patio area set up for nicer days to bring your own cheeseboard and a few friends. Prices are reasonable and selection was sufficient and reasonably priced. My favorite nail salon, Jolie Nail Salon is right next door so getting my nails done will be more fun.

We enjoyed this pairing event immensely. The venue is great and looking forward to coming back - often!

We went to check this place out yesterday. Super friendly people and had a great selection of beers. I didn't know they had a whole wine selection as well, so we'll have to keep this in mind. The place was roomy and plenty of seats and standing room. If you come in with a group, there are a couple large tables to seat everyone and plenty of games to keep you entertained with. Glad there's another place to hang out and drink some Good beer.

If you want to meet on of the best kept secrets in a Roswell with the friendliness ownership in town look in now farther. This place is a great community bar with wine aNd beer. However not just any kind of wine. Ones that are so unquie that don't give you a hangover. The ownership takes pride in making suree no Mega Purple is their wine. Melissa knows more than "BO" here pallet and knowledge for wine and beer is increbile. A must place to go to hang out with friends or make new ones.

Awesome setting with awesome service and awesome beer and wine, even offer tastings of anything on tap. It's a unique place; I think it's the only one like it north of Macon. The owner is super knowledgeable of ALL the beer and wine they serve and sell. It's a nice, modern setup. They also let out the place for special events.

If you have not been to this place you have got to come ASAP. They have great beers on tap, you can get a growler to go, you can grab some champagne, some wine you and you can play games etc.

Pinkies Up is the place to be. They have 21 BEERS on tap and 16+ WINES on tap. The atmosphere is open and welcoming. If you need to host an event, go here. They don't charge for the space and you can bring in your own snacks/appetizers (next door meat market has charcuterie boards to go). Seriously. It's amazing. Check it out

Gotta be honest, when this place opened I scoffed and said some smart ass comment like "not a chance!" Thankfully, I was very wrong. I have come to love this spot. Melissa is wonderful and gets to know what I like and don't like to make the drink and purchasing process flawless. Great selection of wine and beer with an environment to compliment it all. Well done guys!

My absolute favorite place to hang out! I love that it's dog friendly and their wine and beer menus are fantastic. The owners are incredibly kind and the place is always clean.

Great place to stop in with or without the little one(s). Great selection and incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Also very cool that all their tips are given to charity, never seen that before. We will definitely be coming back!

I love this locally owned wine bar. Great selection and good prices--glasses of wine all between$5-12 a glass. Very good, hard to find wines on tap. No food (yet), but you can bring in your own and make a night of it. Support this business that's owned by the nicest, knowledgeable couple!

I held a private event at Pinkies Up on Friday, December 13th 2019 and IT WAS AMAZING! The owner, Melissa, is so easy to partner with and was incredibly hospitable. The concept of the establishment is unique in that you can bring your own food, it's pet friendly during the warmer months, and it serves hand-curated wines and craft beer that you can't find anywhere else. It's quaint and clean and everyone is so friendly. Girls' night? Pinkies Up. Date night? Pinkies Up. Hosting an event? Pinkies Up. Need to get away from family during the holidays? Pinkies Up. I can't recommend it enough.

Pinkies Up is unlike any place I've been. More than a Growler shop, more than a tasting room. This is a place to pick up dinner somewhere and come hang for a while! They have a TON of uncommon beer and microbrews on tap. As well as about 20 different wines by the glass. The atmosphere is super friendly! They have lots of fun games to pick up and play at your table. Sports ball on the television for those that may like to keep up with thier teams scores. We love Pinkies Up! Stop by for a pint or glass of wine, buy a bottle of wine or six pack to bring home. You wont be disappointed!

Not only do they offer a wide variety of beers, but they also have a wide variety of wine! The atmosphere is very chill and I can imagine sitting here going though my emails while enjoying some wine. I'm glad I found this place.
