Ambiance: Cute & classic pizza place from the exterior, the neon lighting outside is fun and welcoming. A few high top tables inside, although the space is small. Ideal location for ordering a pizza to go or quickly eating inside. I enjoyed the 12 inch supreme pizza with my husband. Fresh flavor and ingredients. Pizza was made on the spot. Pricing seemed average, however $3 for a small bottle of Dr Pepper felt a bit pricey. Parking onsite. If in the area, I would go back. Decent pizza for a late night snack or lunch on the run. Not a place I would plan for a sit down lunch/dinner, however.

First time to Pinks and it was amazing ! Casey recommended me the Duece pizza and man it was amazing ! Great service for sure !

Google
Good pizza that tastes like it was made with care and not like a cardboard box. Whoever was in charge of the music that day deserves a raise. Love going to a place and heart some classic rock and r&b and not trap and mind tap. Only three workers that night but they were still managing it pizzas. I will return.

Google
Great little place. Pizza was good. We spent about $95 for 4 pizzas 2 extra toppings and 6 drinks. Nice place, friendly helpful staff. They don't get 5 stars because there was no ice for drinks (I hate just cooler cold soda.) & worst of all only PEPSI/ DR PEPPER PRODUCTS. PEPSI IS GROSS NOT A PLACE TO TAKE A BIG GROUP BUT NICE DATE NIGHT OR PARTY OF 4 SPOT.

Google
The place was empty and also looked dirty but I ordered anyway. This location is off of 14th st & Heights. This is the hawaii five 0 pizza. Basically hawaiian pizza .. Guys, I love pink's pizza but this location is Not a great representation!!!

Houston Guy

Google
Small location designed for take out. Two small tables inside and one picnic table outside. Prices are slightly higher than expected for the size of a slice. The pizza itself tastes ok but they go light on the toppings, again you would expect more based on the price (see pics below). The pizza sauce is a little too bland.

Google
Pizza sold by the slice! A delicious slice customized to your taste and fresh. The people here are welcome and friendly. The seating is larger than you’d think and it’s very low key chill. Highly recommend

Google
That was my last Pinks pizza. I keep trying because they used to be really good but the last 4 have been seriously lacking. First - they forgot to add the fresh basil EVERY time. Really??? Then - I got 2x sausage and there were literally no more than 4 (mostly less) on each slice of a 16” pizza. One (or less) slice of portobello on a slice. The piece I’m eating right now has 5 black olive slices. That’s ridiculous for the price. Done. Too bad.

Yelp
Pizza, pizza, pizza. This is my neighborhood spot, about 5 min drive. I don't eat much pizza anymore but I do love theirs. Things I've ordered: Double Down Pizza - (5/5) Rosemary chicken, bacon, mozzarella, spinach, tomato, and roasted garlic with Alfredo sauce. It's my go to. Delicious. Periodt. Hot wings - (4/5) these are a nice level of heat but wish they did 6 or 8 instead of 5 because they are pretty small wings. Still very good. They also do pizza by the slice which is a new discovery for me. They are larger slices and foldable. Salads -(3/5) it's a hit or miss. Sometimes the salads are nice and other times the lettuce is wilted or the toppings are meh. They are close to a high school so during the school year they get pretty busy during lunch and sometimes after school. It's fairly small shop so they are busy but mostly courteous.

Yelp
Holy moly guys! I thought I would give the Heights location one more try and I regret even considering ordering from here. Simple: two pizzas, salad and two pepperoni sticks. Order was supposed to be ready at 545. Even decided to carry out because if you order deliver from the Pinks Heights location you *might* get it tomorrow. It's 6:20 and I'm still sitting here waiting. IF, and that's a big IF, we do order Pinks again, it will be from the Washington store b/c they seem to have their shite together.
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
Today 07-20 at 6:20 my family and I encountered a very aggressive cashier whose behavior was entirely unacceptable. From the moment we approached the counter, the cashier was rude and dismissive. Instead of greeting us politely, he snapped at us and seemed irritated by our presence. When we asked for recommendations, and pizza sizes he responded with a hostile tone making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. This type of service is highly unprofessional and not what we expect from a reputable establishment like Pink's Pizza. It has left us with a negative impression and made us reconsider visiting your location in the future. We kindly request that you address this issue promptly. Proper customer service training should be provided to ensure that all employees understand the importance of treating customers with respect and courtesy.

Yelp
If you're in the heights, and looking for the best pizza spot, this is it! This pinks pizza has been here in the heart of the heights for what seems like forever, and the pizza gets better with every passing year! Their service is exceptional and fast, and they deliver! Great location, great people, great pizza!

Yelp
This may be one of the best Pizza joints in Houston. We constantly try new things while in Houston but we ultimately go back to Pinks over and over again. We also go and pickup because their delivery is so busy it's just easier. The pizza is thinner crust with an amazing sauce and cheese and the pepperoni tastes so fresh. If this place ever decides to make a frozen pizza which you can purchase at grocery stores count me in-and I don't like frozen pizza but this one I bet will be amazing.
google avatar

Leslie R.

Yelp
Pizza by the slice! Last week I was solo and wanting pizza for lunch. Something that is not readily available drive through. I stopped at Pinks on Heights and was out it under ten minutes with a huge slice and a drink for under $10. They start with a basic cheese slice, you pick your toppings and they pop it in the oven.

Yelp
Two comments: 1. This pizza is expensive, but if you look at the EYESORE sign that doesn't fit the neighborhood, come on...spend a little of that profit on a new sign covering *see pic. The sign is so faded one can hardly read the name of the pizza place on the left side. The right side has some sort of orange tape covering what could be a discontinued menu item. 2. I dislike that there is no crispy thin crust pizza offered. I just didn't like the crust on my pizza, it had too much bread.
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
Love that they have "real bacon" 3 or 4 - Pizza, pepperoni. I've had good to great, last time was good. 4 - Stix, Cheese. 3 - Wings, Spicy BBQ. 1 - Wings, Hot.

Yelp
ZERO STARS!! I'm thoroughly disgusted with how Pink's treats its customers. Management is horrible, a joke to say the least. My husband had an incident trying to place an order and was threatened by a "manager"/ thug at the Washington location - he called to follow-up with the owners at a different location and KK at the heights location said that she did not have time to deal with it because she was in the middle of the dinner rush and hung up on him. Who are the people running this place? We will never return. Please go elsewhere, Houston has far better places with better service! We have never experienced such horrible customer service like this ever.

Shane R.

Yelp
Zero stars. Posting about another pinks pizza because after I was threatened today by one of the workers at the Washington location, I'm trying to reach out to other pinks pizza locations and talk to management to find out who owns these places and who can help me find out who runs this place, as I was verbally and close to physically assaulted by one of their employees, and I have been told by the manager "KK" at this location that she "does not have time to deal with this issue that she's busy " and hung up on me even though there has been violence portrayed against a customer. Unacceptable and I hope whoever owns these pink pizzas reaches out to me because this is unacceptable. I understand that different pink pizzas aren't entirely connected but communicate at some point and the treatment that they are giving a customer of eight years is absolutely unacceptable.

Yelp
Called in for a half Hawaiian and half supreme! Oh man! Just the first look and this pizza looks so sad! The crust was soooo thin and soggy, the topping not proportionate. It's definitely a hit or miss with the consistency at Pinks! My suggestion if you want to give this place a try! Open the pizza on the spot and reject delivery if it doesn't look good!
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
I'm giving 2 stars for a quick refund. The pizza never showed up and after two hours we cancelled. Door Dash was supposedly the delivery service they use and they are pretty worthless these days.
google avatar

V R.

Yelp
The pizza is the best I've had in a long time. It's savory, cheesy and very favorable! My new fav spot.

Will T.

Yelp
Walked in tonight and there was a kid rolling around on the floor and an employee walking around doing food prep while holding a baby. She put the baby in a car seat near the oven and went about washing what appeared to be a baby bottle. Pretty unappetizing and dangerous, so it was fine that no one bothered to take my order. I feel sorry for working parents and challenges with child care but this was ridiculous.

Yelp
Solid. I am annoyingly & persistently hundreds of miles away from my 3 favorite pizza spots in the world - which are: 1) Frank Pepe Pizzeria - New Haven Ct 2) Johns of Bleecker Street- NYC 3) Blue Pan Pizza - Denver Pinks doesn't come close to the big 3....but really no one Za-Spot ever really does....but I will say that it is in my Top 10 (not including top 3....top 3 stand alone-top 10 is a separate list). In my view Pizza & Sushi are cuisines which are in two categories. 1) The BEST In The World 2) All The Rest So Pinks is #2 behind Kenneally's in Houston. Pinks has a consistent pie with a great sauce & crust...what makes a great pizza is the oven - a stone oven that has been in operation for decades. Pinks like most pizza spots uses a conveyor belt oven... I would suggest asking for the pie to be cooked a little extra - not burnt...if you dont it tends to be a little doughy... It may sound like this is a two of three star review but its actually a four star. The pizza is REALLY GOOD....I always get a large with pepperoni sausage mushroom & onions...ITS PRIMO But to be certain Pinks is a take out spot - not dine in. Of their locations I would say the Heights one is the best....with the raddest employees... When looking for pizza which takes care of a itchy Za craving you will never go wrong with Pinks!

Yelp
Please do not ignore the bad reviews. This was my third call after 3 hours of waiting for my order. Completely pointless - the customer service is truly non existent. Sad for what used to be a great neighborhood spot.

Yelp
Try out the Bada Bing Pizza goes very well with some good red wine i strongly advise anybody to try it the pizza was crunchy & delicious will come by again service was very quickly & friendly

Judy B.

Yelp
I placed an order for a meeting of about 22 people which I placed a day ahead of time. Door Dash delivered on time and was great. The pizza was so delicious and hot. The Greek salad was so crisp and perfect. But it didn't come with the balsamic vinegar nor ranch dressing, but I did get Ceasar dressing. The only complaint I have is that I specifically asked about the red pepper flakes and parmesan, didn't show up with the order! Ugh I probably will order again.
google avatar

Libby S.

Yelp
Three stars because I like the pizza. Two stars off because I ordered cheesecake through DoorDash, get it and they gave me a cheese pizza... had them fix it, got it, get another cheese pizza..... on my receipt it clearly says cheesecake
google avatar

Melissa O.

Yelp
Just called right now and they hung up on the first time and the second time they told me they are busy wow. I'm glad I don't spend money at this stupid location with crap customer service and donkey crap owners. Wow

Eat E.

Yelp
Absolutely vile. Ordered from door dash the "fresh" mozzarella margarita pizza. It was full of a brown garlic powder paste and crap processed mozzarella. Total cost $32 with delivery for a medium sized pizza. Look at the photo of the removed paste and removed vile dried tomatoes covered in garlic powder paste. I'd like to throw it in their faces.

Yelp
I have been to three of your stores and every time the orders are delayed too long, I have waited more than 20 minutes beyond the promised time and their employees are rude and disrespectful both in the washintong and in north sheppard and the 14th with height in Houston

Matthew B.

Yelp
The pizza is good service is terrible. The Last two time I have ordered my experience is been terrible. I got their desert it was burnt beyond eating. Today I tried to do a delivery. Ordered at noon said it would be to my house at 1:01. I called at 1 to check the status of the order was told they use door dash before 4. He would send the order back out to be picked up received a text at 120 saying I would get my pizza at 1:50. A two hour wait is just unacceptable.
google avatar

Brettny J.

Yelp
I got a gluten free pizza. There's no pizza taste. It's very bland. I fratelli and George's Pastaria have way better GF pizza.

Jason H.

Yelp
After a previous review of not getting everything we ordered on the pizza, we of course tried this place again. They went above and beyond with the toppings. Why did we go back? Because it's the best pizza in town.
google avatar

Shannon B.

Yelp
My favorite casual pizza joint in Houston. What I really appreciate about pinks is the fact that their pizzas are not overly oily. Ingredients are fresh and their dough is the perfect balance between thin and think ;) what else can u ask for
google avatar

Cassie T.

Yelp
Pink's Pizza isn't bad but it isn't great either. I ordered a "Marie" pizza on Postmates but later received a text saying that pizza wasn't available. Which I'm not sure why it wouldn't be. So I then substituted the Marie pizza for the Freshetta pizza. Once I got the pizza it looked okay. But then I noticed the pizza was cold, and the melted cheese had already solidified. The toppings on the pizza weren't bad except for the cold cheese. The crust was a little burnt for my liking. Overall the pizza wasn't horrible, it's a little better than frozen pizza.

Yelp
Im born and raised from New York and I've been desperately missing some good pizza. I've tried and tried but couldn't find the right pizza that would come close to my New York pizza. BUT THIS PLACE LEMME TELL YOU - THIS PLACE IS PRETTY DARN CLOSE TO IT. Ive gotten the mediterranean pizza, the cheese pizza, the veggie pizza, and the Rocko. Everything about the pizza is absolutely delicious, the crust is a perfect thickness and its not too doughy, the sauce is a perfect taste, and the toppings always taste fresh. They are also always super nice there. This will be my forever go-to pizza place from now on.

R B.

Yelp
Although the outgoing message says how much they strive for excellence tonight's order was no where close. They did not send the right pizza and it was cold. My salad was not included. After trying to contact the location- no answer after sitting in the queue for 10 mins twice. So disappointed!!
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
Great pizza. Good crisp and taste is spot on. Hands down the best pizza in Houston. If you come from an area with great Pizza like I do I. The Northeast. This is about as close as you can get

Valerie L.

Yelp
First time visit - two amazing pizzas. The Greek salad was great too! I'm a fan. Heights location is small - don't think they have eat-in seating.
google avatar

R. P.

Yelp
The stars are for the Lazy Lasagna which is always a hit NomNomNOM! The Big Boss was more like a big nothing. No visible meat. Almost needed a microscope to see the mushrooms I paid extra for yet 5 or 6 whole leaves of basil were quite visible. Maybe I was given the wrong pizza?? They were not that busy so I cannot figure out what happened. Wasted my money on that one .
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
My family and I regularly order pizza for delivery or pick up at the Heights Boulevard location. Typically without incident. Tonight I ordered pizza for dinner for my family. Given 45-60 minute wait time for delivery. After two calls and two hours they were going to have to remake my order because driver was concerned about a docile dog next door. Had he called me, I would have met him at the gate. Two hours of waiting for nothing or they would remake and have into me in 45 minutes. No communication. I had to keep calling. You have likely lost longterm customers. I was incredibly disappointed and let down by tonight's experience.
google avatar

Steven H.

Yelp
I wish they had a location in cypress Texas! I stop every Monday after my electrician class is over and I order 2 pep and cheese to go ! It's amazing!!!

Marla W.

Yelp
Lesson learned... never order from Pinks and expect it to be ready when they say it will be ready. Needs better management.
google avatar

Joseph V.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite pizza joint in Houston. They have plenty of options when it comes to toppings, they even offer pizza by the slice. We ordered the BYO pizza with sausage and chicken, definitely a great combo. We ordered Togo today since we are watching the astros, but the pizza was piping hot once we got home. The pizzas have a crispness to them which I absolutely love. The crust has an oven roasted flavor too, that makes their pizza distinctive compared to other places I've been to. If you haven't tried them, you need to!
google avatar

Yelp
VERY disappointed with the service tonight . Ordered at 7:12 , waited till 9pm , I was starving . The delivery man was very rude to me ... he wouldn't allow me to hold the pizza box without signing , when all I was trying to do was help him. I opened my box and was even more unimpressed , and I would have sent it back, however, by thing point I was starving! I attached a photo of my order , and a picture of what my pizza slices looked like . They were a mess. I order Parmesan cheese ... didn't get any . And on one half there were onions , which I didn't order at all. And really the whole pizza looked as thought everything was just thrown on here in a rush! Also, my $5 salad. Which i paid extra for EXTRA Gorgonzola cheese ... well , I got goat cheese , and very little . But maybe someone made up for that by adding sun-dried tomatoes which I didn't order . Bad experience all around. Best part about it was that I did get to eventually get some food, because I was starving.
google avatar

Huyen C.

Yelp
They have Vegan options which makes me happy! The non vegan options are always really good! The crust is great, but the pricing is a little high for a pizza!
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
We had Pink's for the first time on New Year's Eve. We were not expecting such a treat! The Big Sleep was garlicky and delicious. And we loved the pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks we ordered as well. The delivery was also super fast! This will definitely be our go-to in the Heights moving forward!

Christopher V.

Yelp
I was actually pretty clear that I was so hungry I could eat a horse! So I went to Pinks Pizza, got a huge 16" Supremo, 1 hour later, I felt like I was fat as a cow! Gobbled up the whole large!! Thanks!!

Chris B.

Yelp
Ordered a pizza from here on 9/30 because Ive had good experiences with the gray st location. The picture is what I was given. They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Marla S.

Yelp
I'm from Chicago who has great pizza. Recommendation; original is too fry, BUT if you request extra sauce it's way better and I'd give it 4 stars!
google avatar

Cody J.

Yelp
It's mainly a take out pizza place, and close by, which is perfect! They are really expensive, especially when you have to do add ons. Customer service was quick and we were able to place the order online. When we got home, my boyfriend's Hawaiian pizza was mostly cheese and pineapple. There were small strips of ham, but under the cheese and few and far between. My gluten free and dairy free one was super dry, which can happen with a gluten free crust. But, cardboard may have been less tough. They used what seemed like Daiya, which is the better cheese. I'm not sure if it was me not usually eating pizza, or if there was something wrong with it, but my stomach woke me up during the night and was still not normal, today. I appreciate the gluten free and dairy free options, as well as the topping options, but it's priced way too high (mine with add ons was $21 for basically a medium pizza).

Yelp
Pink's Pizza is a Houston-only business with 8 locations scattered around the city. This one is located in a strip mall and has a low-key, working class kind of vibe to it. There was a dude tossing floured dough up into the air behind the counter as I ordered, so you know they make everything fresh. We ordered a 16-inch "This Guy" pie, which was the right amount for my wife and me, though we're pretty big eaters. The crust wasn't super thin, nor especially thick, and it had nice burnt and charred edges with a texture between chewy and crisp. The "This Guy" features prosciutto, rosemary chicken, goat cheese, mozzarella, spinach, mushroom, tomato, and roasted garlic (we opted to get it sans Italian sausage, as we though the meat would be too oily and overpowering). The ingredients were all super fresh-tasting, especially the blistered tomatoes, and the combo hit the right balance of salty, sweet, pungent, and nutty. I'm fairly certain that if we had gotten to eat the pizza hot out of the oven rather than 20 mins later, I would be giving Pink's 5 stars right now. One day soon hopefully!

Yelp
Great pizza!! Friendly staff. Always a good experience. Highly recommend. I don't recommend their gluten free pizza, but love their regular pizza.
google avatar

Katrina G.

Yelp
All I can say is WOW! I have a very restricted diet (GF/DF) and Pink's was able to make a pizza for me that was both. I would have to say it was the best tasting pizza I have had with these dietary restrictions! I order the Supremo!
google avatar

Nayeli F.

Yelp
Best pizza in the heights went there a lot after school. Friends enjoyed it and I did as well.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst customer service. I placed an online order and wanted to tell the driver to call when they arrived since I'm in a gated community. It's been over an hour and I've called about 10 times throughout the hour with not anyone answering. I called the Montrose location instead to see if the person could pass on the message and the women that picked up said she couldn't help me at all and she was very busy then hung up on me. Horrible customer service and will not be using again.
