"This cosy restaurant, once a butcher's shop, is located near Peškarija, the fish market where the chef selects the best local catch, offered in creative recipes in the indoor dining room or on the terrace. Using modern techniques such as vacuum cooking, with a four-course (lunch) or seven-course (dinner) tasting menu, you can enjoy appetising recipes such as cod poché with cuttlefish noodles, marinated egg, fresh spring onion and fish consommé." - Michelin Inspector

This fact shouldn’t matter but I’m opening with it…All of the outstanding food at this charming restaurant comes from a kitchen that’s probably smaller than your dining room table at home. Despite the tiny kitchen (or maybe because of it) every item on their well curated tasting menu is absolutely wonderful. Nearly all of the seating is outside where you can enjoy stellar people watching along the cobblestone alleyways.

The restaurant caught our eye with the Michelin 2025 sign. It is on a busy corner behind the fish market. We opted for the 6pm 4 course dinner. It was a perfect amount of food for us and each course was delicious! The waiter also paired a nice white wine for us. Fish is their specialty and each course was a special creation.

Incredibly inventive cooking & a super atmosphere makes this one of the best places I’ve eaten this year. Great service. Their early menu (served at 6pm only) is great value for money. A great spot for foodies.

PINKU is not just a restaurant – it’s a life experience. The 7-course menu was exquisite, so much so that we added 2 additional courses. Each dish was perfectly complemented by local Croatian wines, creating a journey of flavours that felt truly unique. A heartfelt thank you to Frane (owner) and team for your impeccable attention to detail and warm presence throughout our meal – you made us feel royal and special. Your vision of a small, intimate setting is absolutely the way forward. The magic of the blackened whisky ageing process, the storytelling, and the music added yet another layer to this unforgettable evening. Thank you for an extraordinary moment. – Marcos, from the Azores

This is one of the best restaurant in split. The foods are not fishy. And easy to eat with good wine. These foods are like Japanese style foods. Also super good a service and good local wine

I enjoyed the tasting menu here about four days ago, and I am still drooling over the entire dinner. Everything on the menu was fantastic! My husband and I attempted to rank the dishes against each other the whole meal, and I just kept claiming each dish was better than the one before it I look forward to my next visit to Split so I can dine here again. I’d say they deserve a Michelin star ⭐️

This is one of the best seafood experience restaurants I have ever been too. I came back just for the experience this year. The seven course meal wine pairing is beyond what words can describe. Our waiter knew everything. About the fish and the wine and took some food pairing suggestions we recommended And said he would try them out to see what we were talking about. It really feels like you're eating dinner outside with friends and you have a professional personal chef. Plan on spending an hour or two when you experience the seven course meal. There is no rush. Portions are perfect. Everything is absolutely fresh as it is right across from the daily fresh fish market . Added bonus there was a kitty cat down the walk who will let you give it some pets.
