Pinoy Groseri (Filipino Grocery Store at Philadelphia)

I live closer to another Filipino store. I visited this store because I was curious to see their menu and merchandise. It’s nice to have options for our birthday parties and other occasions. It was a weekday but their menu was just right and they were able to accommodate my other orders since I called ahead. My Filipino and even American friends were surprised and loved the embutido. I’m greatly satisfied with the service and Pinoy food.

I went hoping to get some cooked food😔They don’t sell it. I met the owner and he was very friendly and sold me ingredients to make what I wanted. The store has all the ingredients you need. The customer service is awesome! I will definitely be back! I can’t wait for them to sell cooked food. It makes me sad that there’s not many Filipino restaurants!

Nice location, very clean. Good choices. You can call ahead to ensure your item is available or they can get it for you.

Nice little store has plenty of food. Friendly staff answered my questions about shipping overseas using balikbayan boxes. They are a shipping agent for LBC. You can get boxes there and they will pickup your box for a fee if you dont want to drop it off.

I’m alittle disappointed. The store smelled so bad. The floor was so dirty. Bought some snacks and some of them were already old that it didn’t taste right or wasn’t crunchy anymore.

Went for the groceries, store owner was very helpful in helping me choose ingredients for my dishes! 🥰

Placed an order that had frozen goods. Paid extra for packaging and our food still arrived spoiled. Their website says they don’t ship on weekends to avoid storage in a mail facility over a weekend. Our confirmation of shipment was on a Saturday. Items were received on a Monday. Eight days later. You have to read to the bottom of their FAQ to see that they advise 1 day shipping. I’d be okay with this process if we were refunded our money for soiled goods. But we weren’t. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is not typically policy. In the future, your website should restrict frozen goods shipments to 1 day shipping to prevent this issue. Will not be buying from here again. Edit: As a consumer we understand that there are possible complications. However, a great company makes it right when things don’t go as planned. Changed to a 5 star review because the company was willing to work with us. Will order from them again (but probably stick to non-perishable items). Thank you Pinoy Groseri!
