The Best Pizza in Rome

"Pinsere brightly lit takeaway joint that specializes in a modern interpretation of pinse, an ancient flatbread that's sometimes credited as the original pizza. The oblong flatbreads have become a popular alternative to the large, round, slice-yourself personal pizzas now the norm in Rome. Toppings include all the classics you'll find at every pizzeria in Rome (Margherita, zucchini flowers with mozzarella and anchovies), but there are some creative items on the list, as well (ricotta, honey, raisins, and figs)." - Maresa Manara, Katie Parla

Pinsere — Restaurant Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"Tell us about your first impressions when you arrived. Pinsere is a busy takeaway joint in Rome's Sallustiano district. Brightly lit and staffed with super-helpful staff, it's dominated by a marble-and-glass display case showing the pinse (flatbread) of the day. What was the crowd like? The Sallustiano district is packed with office buildings and government ministries, so the clientele is mainly work colleagues on a quick lunch break. What should we be drinking? The menu includes water, soda, bottles of beer, and glasses of wine. Main event: the food. Give us the lowdown—especially what not to miss. Pinse are a modern interpretation of an ancient flatbread recipe—Romans who bake pinse claim it's the original pizza. This is debatable, but what's clear is that pinse, oblong flatbreads, have become a popular alternative to the large, round, slice-yourself personal pizzas now the norm in Rome. Toppings include all the classics you'll find at every pizzeria in Rome (Margherita, zucchini flowers with mozzarella and anchovies), but there are some creative items on the list, as well (ricotta, honey, raisins, and figs). For a mix of local flavors combined creatively, try the mortadella, ricotta, and pistachio variety. And how did the front-of-house folks treat you? Romans don't tip at takeaways, so there's no need here. The staff is kind, helpful, and eager to make suggestions, so don't hesitate to trust them if this is your first pinse experience. They'll prepare a box to take away or a plate to eat standing in-house. What’s the real-real on why we’re coming here? Pinsere isn't on any natural tourist path, but it's convenient for a quick, cheap snack if you happen to be staying around Porta Pia or Piazza Fiume. Dimensions are tight, so it's not great for groups." - Katie Parla

Google
This was the first pizza we had while staying in Rome and it didn't disappoint. Amazing variety of pizzas with cheap, affordable prices. Lovely, helpful and attentive staff. We will definitely visit again. 💝🤌🤌

Google
This was an excellent stop for a light easy dinner. Delicious Roman style pizza (slightly crispy yet airy dough) and local flavors like procuitto/smoked cheese/sweet squash sauce (YUM!) and ultra thin potato slices/sausage. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating including making room for us to sit and offering recommendations. Small outdoor seating section only. Closes early for dinner (by Italian standards) so get there at least an hour before closing to ensure there is still a good selection remaining. Great value for the quality of food. All locals eating when we were there. Not at all touristy.

Google
First of all, great food. The pizza was crunchy and had a nice balance to it. It was also an excellent portion for lunch. Plus the price for a pizza, a soda, and a suppli were really affordable for lunch. The ingredients were really fresh. The service was excellent! They were really friendly and spoke multiple languages. You could tell the staff were having a good time and you could tell that in their service and food quality. This is a traditional italian pizza place with no frills but we're surrounded by locals. It was traditional but definitely not old. Definitely recommend this for a quick bite!

Google
Absolutely fantastic little spot. The pizzas and the rice balls were wonderful. The flavours offered were very interesting, and one of my favourites was the pizza with crushed pistachios on top. I couldn't believe how cheap it was when it was so good. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. I was so happy this was 2 minutes away from my hotel!

Google
The local pizzeria by the side of road. Nothing fancy, no white table clothes. But service and food and price was 10/10. I am not pizza person, and I found it amazing. Perfectionism isn’t in fancy things - usually hides in simplicity. Highly recommend this place.

Google
Shout out to my boys Lorenzo and Umar food was absolutely fantastic service was insanely amazing and inviting makes a tourist feel so welcomed and wonderful! Food came out so so quick and was so flavourful! I wish to come here again one day! Mwah to Lorenzo and Umar!

Really delicious, I mean really really delicious. Almost the best pizza that I have ever had in Italy. It is budget—friendly, the staff is really nice and everything is just — PERFECTO

Yelp
Needed a quick pick me up meal after a long travel day to Rome, so we made a stop for some pizza! It was 7.50 euros for a personal-sized pizza, and the crust was thin and crispy. It was the perfect meal/snack, and a yummy first meal in Rome!

Yelp
Simply the best pizza we found in Rome. It's simple, yet so delicious. They spoke English and we were told the pizzas that were popular. Pizzas were super crispy and had so much flavor. I had some mushroom one and mixed meat one and they were both good. Also very affordable, it was like $16 euros for the two pizza which was very reasonable compared to the other places I've been to.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with pinsere. I ended up going twice in a day because I found this place on my last day in Rome. Delicious pizza and highly recommend the rice balls as well. Extremely cheap and wonderful service. Nice outdoor seating, what more could you ask for??

Yelp
Very good, baked to order quick, light Roman Pizza. Was so good with the pesto and oil toppers. Had them cook a little well done and came out a little over 5 mins after placing the order. Highly recommend this place for lunch or a quick snack,

It's been 8 years since I've been here and I still think it's some of the best pizza I've ever had

Yelp
Very delicious Pizza. Nice place for quick bite. Excellent service. The workers are very friendly

Yelp
I enjoyed everything. Definitely get the pumpkin pizza! I don't even eat meat and I ate the whole thing, bacon and all Lorenzo was super helpful, patient, and kind. It's cute and chill; mostly outdoor seating with a small counter inside. Get 1 of each rice ball if you love your self haha.

Yelp
Pinsere lived up to its esteemed reputation. The pizza and suppli (arancini) are absolutely incredible. One of the suppli tasted like the most amazing Cacio e Pepe risotto. And, the pizza was unique and incredible. The staff here is very welcoming and willing to assist in what pizza to order.
google avatar

Yelp
Really enjoyed this place. Found through Yelp. We had two pizzas, and split a wine (one glass each) for €18.50 which is a really great price for the quality of food and service. They speak English and explain all the different pizza options to you. Sooooo tasty!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh this is perfect local find! They say when in Rome do as the Romans do, and we did that. The focaccia bread pizza was absolutely amazing. We went with the classic margarita with a drizzle of chilly and it was beyond amazing, it's anyway difficult to mess up a margarita. The other was the chefs recommendation for vegetarian and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of chilli and raisins was very uniquely different and I really liked it. The pizza is fresh; the staff is very pleasant and the service is quick! This is a must go place

Yelp
Awesome little place. I stumbled by it while walking around Rome. Seems popular with locals. It's a takeout counter. Pick one of the premade personal pizzas in the display case (they have tons of options and keep on cranking them out" and they reheat it for you. You go and pay, add on any extras you want like a drink or Arancini ball. Then they will direct you to a seat outside. When pizza is ready they bring it to you. The pizza was awesome. I crave it to this day. Wish I could try more. Guys behind the counter were friendly and chill. Some speak English too. One personal pizza, a peroni beer and an arancini ball cost me 12euro. Not bad at all and was all delicious.
google avatar

Lynnette L.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and great service. Super casual place with a great outdoor dining area. Very reasonably priced pizza that doesn't skimp on toppings or flavor. 100% recommend if you're looking for casual but delicious bites.

Steven Ralph J.

Yelp
Best pizza I have ever had. Crust was both crispy and light. Topping combinations were inventive and all pies were 7,5 euros.

Yelp
I only stopped in once, but I'm sure glad I did. My hostel owner recommended this spot, and it lived up to his hype. I ordered a slightly bizarre (at least by American standards) pizza (pinsa?) with broccoli and olives, and it was super flaky but also incredibly soft and cloud-like. The folks working in the shop were super helpful and patient with my poor Ital-glish. I originally intended to only eat half of this, but once I sat down and started eating there was no choice but to finish it. 10/10 would return when I'm back in Rome.
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
The bottom line: top notch crispy Pinsa, bottom barrel 5E prices, friendly staff--especially when they know your face. Pinsere offers a shifting selection of crisped to order pinsa with seasonal toppings. For 5-7E it can't be beat. There is no seating, but it's worth the stand.

Yelp
Best fire oven pizzas in Rome!!! We came here 3 nights in a road during our trip in Rome. This is a little hole on the wall restaurant. There isn't a place to sit. Very small and it is always busy. Absolutely worth the wait! It seems as they always have different concoctions for their pizza toppings but anything you try won't disappoint. I had one day a slice of a pizza with prosciutto, ricotta and pistachios. This was my favorite pizza!! I wanted more the next day but they didn't have it. We also had a spicy sausage one and a different one with pesto. They weight your slices. It is super affordable. Do not leave Rome without trying this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to get a quick pizza for a great price! We came here because we were super hungry after our 5 hour train ride to Rome. This place was the perfect place to come in between lunch and dinner! Can't beat the price! It was only 5.50 euros for a personal sized pizza. They heated it up and had it ready in just 3 minutes!
google avatar

Heather T.

Yelp
Fast, hot and delicious! Staff was great. Would definitely recommend to any travelers.
google avatar

Reshma K.

Yelp
By far the best pizza ever!! Folks here were friendly welcoming. We ordered Margherita pizza and spicy salami and both were exceptionally delicious. We also tried the zucchini with zucchini flowers pizza and that was super tasty. The crust is light and doesn't weigh you down. Point to note, there is no seating anywhere. They have a little ledge that serves as a table. If you are in a mood for pizza when in Rome, you got to try this place. No other place came remotely close to what is served here! 5 stars.
google avatar

Kirstin Z.

Yelp
This spot is pretty busy, but not too busy. The line moves quick because there is no seating. You order whatever is in the stand, and then pay. To eat, there are little bars outside to stand at on the wall. Cool, relaxed atmosphere and affordable. The guys working there speak several different languages well enough to help You order your food. Plus they wear cool pants!

Yelp
This local corner pizzeria was right by our hotel and we always saw locals there, so we wanted to try. The atmosphere is fun and crazy, with a very animated server who kept the crowd entertained with his "tell me!" way of asking what you want. Only choosing from small individual pizza that is in the showcase, he cooks it while you wait and you can only take it away or eat on the counters outside on the street. As for the food, the pizze look much better than they taste. They were good, but lacking in flavor. Not as good as other pizza that you can find in Roma. Go here to be entertained only. *This review was part of a 10-day eating binge, I mean vacation with my mother. The summary here reflects both of our opinions*

Yelp
Delicious pizza and risotto balls. This was a great find just walking down the street from our hotel. Everyone needs to try this place out

Yelp
My husband stayed by Roma Termini and found this amazing pizza! They do not disappoint! Best pizza hands down!

Yelp
Best pinsa in Rome! The eggplant parmigiana and the pancetta and pumpkin were our favorites! Friendly staff and great food make for a great restaurant!

Yelp
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. So glad I consulted Yelp my last day in Rome for pizza and we decided to wait it out till after our Roman Forum tour and late check out, which meant lunch wasn't until 2:30. A 15 minute walk from our hotel led us to an area/neighborhood we'd never checked out, but obviously where the locals go. The pizzas are par cooked and on display, and there were at least 8 different variations, as well as suppli available for purchase. I really liked our white truffle pizza, though I had actually picked the one with the capers. Crust was fluffy and crunchy on the outside. Super cheap at 5.50 euros each. No sitting room, but super fun to stand at the counters and eat. Highly recommended and best pizza we had on the entire trip!! PS they speak English just fine.
google avatar

Boru P.

Yelp
This place is so good! 6 or 8 unique varieties of pizzas await. You pick, and in the oven it goes. I had ham, onion and pumpkin cream, absolutely delicious. Hope to try the squash blossom next time. Light, perfectly crisp and delicious. I saved half for the next day. Plus, the staff is really nice! Absolutely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
I agree with all of the reviews that describe this place as likely the best pizza spot in Rome -- delicious, fast and inexpensive. Atmosphere (5): small little place that tends to be packed with people ordering and waiting for their food. There are a few places inside and outside to stand and enjoy your food. Service (5): even though Pinsere tends to be packed with people waiting to order and waiting for their food, the service is remarkably fast and efficient. Even for an American that does not speak Italian! The ordered pizzas also come out of the oven quickly and exceptionally fresh. Food (5): some of the best pizza I have had anywhere and it is also surprisingly inexpensive. The crust is remarkably both crispy (bit charred in some places, which I like), but also light and fluffy. Definitely a not to be missed spot for me in Rome.
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
Excellent example of best cheap eats! A personal pizza can run you about €5.50. Crust is awesomely both soft and crispy, a rare wonder I have not experienced until today! Beautiful buffalo mozzarella cheese. I ended with this along with brocolli, olives and anchovies. Pizzas are premade and then baked. I simply picked with my eyes. It was both fun and tasty! If I happen to be back in the area, I will fill myself with another. The crust is out of this world! Friendly and efficient bar service. Cash and credit are accepted. Pick a pizza and you eat within 5-10min standing outside a little "window" table.
google avatar

Ada J.

Yelp
As my first official meal in Rome I had to have pizza and beer! I just started to look up places and bam!! Pinsere it was!! It's a modern little spot with NO SEATING AVAILABLE! Thats ok... eating standing up make it digest faster!?!? Lol who knows. What I do know is the pizza is memorable. The guy behind the counter speaks English well and will give you the rundown on the the pizzas he has to offer. Make sure to order the fried rice ball. It's stuffed with cheese and crazy good! I tried the spicy sausage pizza with blue cheese and the buffalo mozzarella with ham, both were amazing! This was an awesome place to grab lunch! Cheap pizza, beer and friendly service!

Yelp
Just came back from Italy vacation this past July 7,2019 We stayed at the MARCELLA ROYAL HOTEL in Rome. The restaurant is just down one street from the hotel. It is very busy during lunch time. It is take out only. Or you can stand Ana's eat your pizza on the shelves on the side. They also sell drinks. They make the pizza (uncooked) - like a personnel size pizza and then display them so the customers can see the pizza or they can also ask what kind of pizza it is. There are so may unique combinations that more Than likely you will need to ask. One of the flavors was pepperoni with zucchini flowers. This tasted deliciously. My husband tried one with eggplant and dates. I loved how we could look and ask, if we had any questions. Most of all! I love how my pizza came out piping hot. Any one that is around the area where they see this little cute corner pizza place. This place is a must!! Remember standing room only. Also when leaving the restaurant, turn left and then another left, there is a gelato place. Omg!! Must try their gelato too!
google avatar

Carol Z.

Yelp
The BEST pizza ever had. THE BEST! €5-5.50 each personal size pizza. So affordable and good tasting. Crust is fluffy like many of the bread in Italy. Ingredients are special, prosciutto, mortadella, anchovies, zucchini flower. It's pretty to look at and tasty. It's a work or art!

Eliot S.

Yelp
Great pizza shop. Light and fluffy full pizzas. We shared 3 pizzas for 3 people. We didn't feel overly full and paid less than €25 for 3 pizzas and 2 drinks.
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
You don't have to pay amazingly high prices for...amazing food. Pinsere is definitely an amazing place to get pizza! The atmosphere is cozy but it is definitely a come and go type of restaurant. There are no seats and it is expected you either eat your pizza on wooden planks jutting out from the wall. Or you take your pizza to go. In terms of the food, the pizzas are premade and displayed in a display case. You then pick the pizza you want and it is baked fresh for you to...stuff your face with 5 minutes later. Specifically I had an amazing pesto and sausage pizza and an award winning pumpkin pizza. Whats better is the pizzas are all very reasonably priced! If you find yourself in Italy...go to Pinsere. Your stomach and wallet will thank me later.
google avatar

Garrett F.

Yelp
When in Rome, you must eat Pizza. I searched Yelp for pizza restaurants near my hotel, and came across Pinsere. Food: There was quite a selection, and was not sure what I wanted. One of the workers excitedly suggested I order the 2013 award winning pizza. I ordered the award winning pizza, which came with bacon, smoked cheese, and PUMPKIN. I've never eaten pizza with pumpkin, but I was up for something new. The pizza was actually pretty good; the dough was light and fluffy, and the flavors complemented each other. Sides Notes Ambiance: It's a small restaurant with standing counters only. The workers were so enthusiastic and had so much energy, which created a very happy and positive atmosphere. Service: Staff was so nice. They insisted I ate and enjoyed my food before I paid. Overall: Definitely give this place a try!

Therese M.

Yelp
Best pizza we had in Italy. Outdoor seating and limited drink list but the pizza is amazing.

Yelp
The guy at the counter is hilarious. If you walk in and say "Hi" you may be in for a little surprise. Try it :'D Oh yea, and the pizza, as you can see from the photos, is not like the other places around the area. The pizza here has a lot more substance. Its a nice buttery crust that has a very thin and crispy outer shell and, of course, a soft and light inside, making it effortless to bite and chew.
google avatar

Clarissa L.

Yelp
I found this place through all the great reviews on yelp. When you arrive, there are a bunch of premade pizzas you can choose from. We had the anchoive/brocolli/olive and ham/cheese pizza. Once out of the oven, the pizza's were topped with a pistachio oil drizzle. The pizza dough was well made and the crust had a great crunch. The pizzas were a bit salty, especially the anchoive one. The two pizzas cost us 11 euro. Overall, a good place to stop by for a quick meal.

Miriam F.

Yelp
Best pizza I have ever had in my life! Little hole in the wall, with only a few options which why I think they are so good at what they do!!! We ate here 3 times in the 3 days we were in Rome!
google avatar

Yelp
For our first meal in Rome, we wanted something quick for lunch, so why not start out the trip with a little authentic Italian pizza. Pinsere was a semi hole in the wall pizza joint a short walk from our hotel. This place was a bit intimidating because of how chaotic it was. Their menu was massive...just so many different combinations of pizzas to choose from. While we were trying to figure out what we liked, what was a must-get item, etc., you had the added pressure of the guys working there trying to keep everyone moving. They were trying to be helpful but they talked so fast and I think we just agreed to the guy's first two suggestions haha. On top of that, there were no tables, just a ledge along the outside to stand in front of. Like I said, I blanked out when I got up to order, and we ended up getting a bacon/smoked gouda/pumpkin pizza and a mortadella/ricotta/pistachi pizza. I came to my senses at the end and tossed in a cacio e pepe arancini ball as well haha. The guy just kept saying you like this? It's very good. And I was like uhhh, sure why not. Total cost for 2 pizzas, a rice ball, and 2 bottles of water was $16, which wasn't terrible. The taste of the pizza was interesting. I've never had pumpkin on a pizza before, but it was a very subtle flavor. The other pizza was closer to a traditional meat and red sauce pizza, except with a drizzle of crushed pistachio sauce on top, which again wasn't too overpowering in flavor. The crust was perfect. It was crispy and bubbly, but not too dense and filing. My favorite item was actually the rice ball. It was crispy on the outside, steaming hot in the middle, and was just so cheesy. This was definitely a popular spot because there was a steady flow of people the entire time we were there, even after 2PM. Overall, I'd say Pinsere is a pretty solid stop for pizza, especially for to-go orders or a really quick bite on the run.

Yelp
This is what you dream walking around Rome should be like. A pizza place with beautiful creations waiting for you to choose one. It's thrown quickly into a hot oven, just enough to melt and blend all the flavors together. Then take it to go or lean on a counter and enjoy it right there. Dear New York, Rome sees your neighborhood pizza slice place and raises you an artisanal individual pizza. The key to Pinsere is that the crust has been precooked, then sauce and toppings added in a beautiful arrangement and put on display. All that is left to do is just a few minutes in the oven and it's ready to go. The thinly sliced meat isn't in the oven long enough to get tough. The cheese gets perfectly melted quickly and the crust gets just a little more browned and crispy. After having a few doughier pizzas, we welcomed this more crispy crust as a great change of pace. Pumpkin, Pancetta, and Smoked Provolone - The owner bragged about this award winning pizza. He only had one left for the evening....it was meant to be for us to try that pizza. The pumpkin cream sauce that lightly layered the crust wasn't overly sweet and paired perfectly with the pancetta and lightly smokey provolone slices. Yes it's worthy of an award. 5 stars Speck and Buffalo Mozzarella - speck is sometimes confused with prosciutto. Speck is actually cured smoked pork belly. It totally lends itself well to being heated up on a pizza without drying out. It was sliced razor thin. The base of this pizza was a tasty traditional red sauce with dollops of buffalo mozzarella that melted nicely. 5 stars Ciauscolo and Stracchino - looking at one of the uncooked pizzas I was a little nervous as I thought it had raw ground sausage on top. Usually a flash fired pizza like this would have precooked sausage. But you have to trust this man, these are well thought out pizzas from beginning to end. Using Ciauscolo is genius. It is more like a soft pork based salami that is spread on bread like a pate, but it is already smoked and ready to eat before going in the oven. There is a world of cured meats that in the United States we rarely get to explore and they are delicious. Same goes for cheese and rather than just mozzarella, this pizza had Stracchino, which is similar but a little more creamy. You don't see if very often in the US because it needs to be eaten very fresh, within a few weeks, thus doesn't travel well to be sold on a large scale. Again a red sauce was the base of this pie, but it should be noted that the sauce on all of these pies were a very thin layer to just flavor the crust rather than be its own topping. After baking, a little bit of pesto was drizzled on top completing this tasty masterpiece. 5 stars. It was hard to tell which pizza I liked best, each was outstanding. We got these to go and ate them back at our apartment on our last night in Rome while we were packing. I wish I would have tried this place sooner, it was definitely worthy of several stops for a quick bite. Make sure you do.

Yelp
This pizza place is great and cheap. 5 euros for a full pizza. That said, the full pizza size is pretty small and many people can eat two of them if they come in with an empty stomach. I went there twice in a day, once at 11am and once at 530pm. There was no one there besides me at 11am but I was charged 50 cents just for eating in store. But I wasn't charged for eating in at 530pm when there were a few other people there. I think the guy who served me in the morning thought I was a rich tourist lol. The pizzas tasted great but were really greasy. So definitely not for you if you prefer the less oily ones. I personally prefer another pizzeria called Sapori e Delizie on Via Giovanni Lanza which actually has full-sized pizzas with a more comprehensive menu and it's made to order.

Yelp
The best pizza in Rome -- no exggeration. The owner makes the pizza shop the most welcoming and hospitable restaurant in Rome. His catch phrase for english speakers is "Tell me!" and it was funny watching him greet new people coming in. While I was waiting for the pizza he told me that the place has been open for around 8 years now and they sell ~500 pizzas a day. I ordered two pizzas and I would say one is perfect for a single person, but I was feeling extra hungry that day (and I wanted to try as many pizzas as possible). I ordered a ham and mozarella pizza as well as their award winning bacon, smoked cheeze, and pumpkin pizza! The pizza's texture was perfect -- the bottom was crispy while the top and middle were still moist. The flavors of the pizza were also delicious and balanced. Each pizza was 5-6 euros which was absolutely a steal in Rome. I can't recommend these pizzas enough. I asked him what he thought about all the pizza shops in Rome and he said there's too much generic pizza. They tend to be too thin and dry, which I agreed with based on my experience. Avoid ordering pizza in sit down restaurants and get them from specialized pizza shops like Pinsere! P.s. if you ask nicely, there's a small hidden bathroom in the back of the shop.

Yelp
The best pizza I've ever had IN MY LIFE! The staff is wonderful and friendly and were able to communicate in English. This place is small but very clean and you can eat inside as long as you don't mind standing. I would 100% recommend this place! This place smells like heaven.

Yelp
We hopped on a short bus ride with rolling suitcases and all to find this place. It was crazy packed with people and everyone outside had a little gold tray of pizza. A stayed with the luggage as I braved the overflowing crowd. As the crowd slowly parted left and right, the display of amazing personal pizzas I think literally sang to me. Suddenly I was overcome with ordering anxiety. What was I supposed to get again? What if I get the wrong thing? OK. I'll tell you now. I don't think there is such a thing as ordering wrong here. In a jumble, I pointed to three random pizzas, paid, and slunched back into the crowd to await my warmed 'zas. The staff was super nice and knew quite a bit of English, but there is definitely a lot of pointing and confusion at times as to who's order was up. It all worked out and we ended up with a box full of goodness. A and I used our suitcases as seats further down the street and dove in. We ended up with a prosciutto (or a darker cured ham) & fig, squash blossom & zucchini & anchovies, sun dried tomato & goat cheese & proscuitto. They were all so different and all displayed the perfect balance of creamy cheese, salt, and sweetness. We gobbled it all up. Definitely the best pizza of the trip. Will definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Roma.

Yelp
This place is legit. For 5euros it was good value for quantity and taste. Since we flew in from NY this was just breakfast for us. So we split the pistachio, mortadella, ricotta, and ham. Haven't found anything like this in NY

Yelp
Probably the most worthy pizza place you can find in Rome and the taste of every pizza there is simply amazing. Stop reading and start eating!

Yelp
My husband and I went here for dinner one night in Rome because we wanted a low key night. The prices were reasonable and the pizza was scrumptious! I liked that there were many types of pizzas that I had never had before. Also, I liked that the pizza were personal sized and cut into 4 pieces. The man working spoke fantastic English and explained what each pizza consisted of. My husband chose a spicy pizza and I chose the award winning sweeter pizza. Both were delicious, but ultimately, I liked the sweet and my husband liked the spicy better. You can eat the pizza standing either inside or outside, but there are no chairs. We chose outside. I would definitely recommend this place to any friends visiting Rome!

Yelp
This place is perfection! This was the best pizza we had in Rome by a large margin. The dough is fantastically light, airy, and crisp. Topping were all phenomenal. The highlights were the chorizo and red onion pizza, cheese and spicy peppers, and fig prosciutto and brie. All of their savory options are served with a drizzle of delicious basil oil and the fig came with honey. The family who runs this restaurant are extremely friendly, efficient and welcoming. The price is right (two pizzas, two beer 15 euros) as well. Their suppli are fantastic as well, I highly recommend the cacio e pepe variation. This is a must visit lunch spot in Rome. Grab a couple of pizza, couple of beer, and have a seat on the sidewalk outside and marvel at the deliciousness offered by this unassuming restaurant. FYI, they are only open Monday-Friday for lunch.
