Entertainment Complex Pinstack Opens in Austin | Eater Austin

"A North Texas–based entertainment complex opened in the Tech Ridge Center (500 Canyon Ridge Drive) on Feb. 19. The venue combines a full-service entertainment floor—bowling lanes, rock-climbing walls, laser tag, bumper cars, arcade and virtual-reality games, a 16-person giant foosball table, and 20-foot-high ropes that span the space—with an attached restaurant serving a broad American menu (burgers, pizza, seafood, mac-and-cheese pops and a pancake tower). The property includes two full bars offering cocktails, wines (including tapped options), and local draft beers, and is part of a small chain with existing locations in Plano, Las Colinas, and Allen operated by Entertainment Properties Group, Inc." - Nadia Chaudhury

I visited this PINSTACK location this past Sunday, and I had a wonderful time! In my opinion, the best way to go when bowling is the VIP area every single time. More secluded, less crowded, and less noisy because people don’t usually want to pay the extra money. The Riesling wine was amazing, but I missed out on the adult shakes. I will be back to try them for sure.

So hubby and I came to Austin for the fourth to see my best friend and her daughter. So with all the rain going on, we decided to go bowling for the fourth. Since you couldn't see any fireworks for it's been raining a lot. 😒 as soon as you walk up, there are these red glow in the dark little circle.Things that are real neat. So when we went in, you saw the first thing. Is this huge game wrong? And you see a desk in the front and there's a restaurant to the right. By the time we made it there, it was a little late, so the restaurant was closed. So we all walked around and took a look-see? We went into the game room and looked at what they had to offer, and it was a lot they had bumper cars, they had all types of games, they had motorcycle rides. They have games to grab the fluffy stuff animals out. They had rock climbing and also, they had some type of thing when you looked up. I guess it was a walk the rope type of thing, but it literally was very high. Yo this place has everything the also have a place where they sell baked goods.Ice cream beer food is just a freakin wonderland for adults and kids🫡 After looking at all that we decided to go and ask about bowling. There was a line and as soon as it was our turn. The young man behind the counter told us it was $58 an hour to bowl also it's five dollars for each person to get their shoes🫣 OK, so before you judge us. Yes, we were a little bit shocked ok a lot shocked.( we just knew some type of big celebrity must own this place) 😂 About $58 an hour to bowl. Not that we didn't have the money to do it. We were just shocked that it was fifty eight dollars an hour to bowl once again.🤣 So if you don't know me, your girl asks everywhere I go😁 Do ya'll take military discounts or AARP because somebody discount had to get it popping for this😜 So they did take military discounts and the manager I totally forgot her name but she was nice enough to help us. So she gave us lane #1 because we're number one.😁 So as we go over there, it looked like VIP lanes ok we are liking it so far.😎 We all pick up balls and start putting our names in the machine. They also ask you to put in a picture. But we didn't, so they insert their own pictures, which are very funny , and you can see them in the pictures that I took. I was the pig. Lmbo when the waitress came she asked us.Did we want any food or drinks? But we had 8 before we came so we just got some drinks. My friend and I ordered a strawberry lemonade, alcoholic.Drink my god daughter got a coke and my husband at koniak and coke. They? Also sold these amazing shakes to the people across from us.The young lady ordered one.So I took a picture of it at man. When I tell you they spruce up these shakes, they had cookies. Some of them had candy and I'm some of them had all types of stuff. But we see that a lot of people order these shakes and they lit really good. So we ended up having a great night and had a lot of fun. Also, while everyone is bowling, they play this great 80s.Type music, so it has a really good.Chill funky vibe.😃 My husband won🏆 He beat me by 14 points. I came in second and then my best friend and her daughter. But we had a blast, so it was worth every penny🤫 So if you're ever in austin, this place is good for taking the family doing date night or just hanging out with your friends😊

I thoroughly enjoy visiting Pinstack in Round Rock, Texas, every time I go! The vibrant atmosphere really enhances my experience, making it the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening. The bowling alleys are well-maintained, and I love the variety of lane options available. The food is delicious, with a diverse menu that offers something for everyone, from gourmet burgers to tasty appetizers. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that every visit feels welcoming. Plus, the bowling balls are kept in great condition, adding to the overall enjoyment of the game! We enjoyed celebrating my daughter's 12th birthday. The food was tasty and bowling and arcade areas was fun. The girls really enjoyed laser tag and bumper cars.

We recently celebrated my son’s birthday at Pinstack Austin, and it’s a wonderful place overall. It offers a wide variety of arcade games, attractions, and some of the best bowling lanes. It’s truly an amazing venue for kids and families. We booked a birthday party package for my son, which included two hours of unlimited attractions. The kids absolutely loved it and had a great time. We were served fresh, hot pizza, fried mozzarella, and unlimited soft drinks and lemonade. Our server was awesome—very prompt and helpful, especially when serving food to the kids. However, the booking process was extremely painful. I tried calling multiple times to book the birthday party, but the party manager was often unavailable, and no one else was able to answer our questions. We even visited the Pinstack location in person, but by the time we arrived, the party planner had already left for the day. At the reception desk, most of our questions were met with responses like, “I don’t really know, but…”, which was disappointing and not what we expected. We struggled quite a bit to get clear answers. Eventually, we were able to speak with the party planner, Max, who was great. He answered all our questions, helped resolve the issues. Unfortunately, the party contract was initially sent to the wrong email address, which caused multiple follow-ups. After some effort, we finally received the correct contract, signed it, and the birthday celebration went ahead successfully. Would I recommend Pinstack? Absolutely. Despite the booking challenges, it’s a fun place with lots of activities, good food, and a great vibe. Kids will definitely love it. Thanks, Pinstack!

Google
Staff treated us very nicely. They were attentive and ready to help anytime needed. There aren't too many bowling lanes, but enough to have a good time. The seats were comfortable and clean. Arcade wasn't a bit of a downer. The games are expensive and there isn't a big selection. If you come as a group, the prices and fair and you'll have a good time.

Google
Great place to come out for fun. Bring a group this place is equipped to handle large groups. Great service from our server during our time out on the lanes. There are plenty of menu options to choose from. Including a Giant Wing platter to feed those big parties. Parking is plenty and discount lane prices from 10:00 A.M -12:00 P.M. if you are looking to knock some pins down before lunch. Arcade is to date. The kids will appreciate the many game choices. It is a very nice place to hang out with your friends and family.

Google
I was there at 10 am yesterday for discounted early bird bowling, but the cashier insisted we’d be charged for “weekend pricing” ($44) since it was a holiday. When we pointed out the numerous signs—including the pricing flyer right next to the register—advertising $10/hr bowling before noon *every day*, he told us that was incorrect and that “their system had not updated.” We pushed back, and he did eventually give us the $10 rate. But it was an unnecessary hassle when it should have been simple to charge the advertised price. Alternatively, it should be communicated very clearly if “every day” doesn’t actually mean every day. The bowling itself was fun! Plenty of available lanes, clean, etc. So I’m giving it 3 stars for a fun time, but we will likely bowl elsewhere next time to avoid the pricing issues.

Yelp
My wife and I won a giant prize pack from a trivia contest and we waited a while before using it. Skip a few months later and here we are. A few weeks before it expires. During this visit to Pinstack we got food, played games and did some bowling. The bowling was fun but it's bowling so you should know what to expect. The food was half and half. The Mac and Cheese balls were super super good and my wife and I gobbled those up quick. The fries however, not that great. It's supposed to be "cheese fries" but in actuality it was just a bunch of fries with a small amount of shredded cheese and some sour cream on top. The games were fun but it does cost a lot of points per game to do anything. If you're gonna get a small amount of game credits on your play card, like 20 for example, you'll run out of points quick. I would like to come back again for bowling but I won't rush out the door to come back. I'd say if you're coming here for the first time, get a good amount of credits on your game card or just do bowling. Food is up to you since we only tried 2 appetizers I can't comment too much on it.

Yelp
Husband and I won a trivia game here back a couple months ago, and our prize was two hours of bowling, shoes provided, two appetizers, and 160 points worth of arcade games on a card(s). All of these things were printed on a formal piece of paper with the managers signature on it to show authenticity. Anyway, so we walked in and walked right up to the front. We showed them the card and they asked what we wanted to redeem. I asked them back if we had to redeem everything all at once, or if it could be broken up into different visits. The woman told me it had to be used all at once. So I'm not entirely sure why she asked me what I wanted to redeem if in the end, it didn't matter and had to be redeemed all at once anyway. Regardless, she pointed us down the hall to the bowling section and told us that we could get started there and they could also give us cards there as well for the arcade section. Bowling was fun, no qualms there. Although I will say that after two hours, my thumb was starting to get a little blistered lol. Husband and I enjoyed the different types of games You could play aside from just typical bowling. We did Christmas bowling, we did Angry Birds bowling, and we even played HORSE bowling. Fun! During this time, we also ordered our two appetizers. We ordered the loaded fries (without bacon, because I'm a vegetarian), and the mac & cheese bites. Our server had to take our paper with him that explained what we were entitled to, but after a while of him, walking around, but not returning the paper back to us, I had to stop him and ask him to return the paper back to me because that was the only way that I would be able to redeem the other things that were on there. No issues there, he returned it. He also checked up on us a couple of times. So we had a pretty good experience. We really enjoyed the mac & cheese bites! After our two hours of bowling was over, we headed over to the arcade section. We were able to get it so that they divided the 160 into two cards so that I got a card and my husband got one card with 80 points each on both. Their selection of arcade games is a bit smaller than others, but we still had fun. There was one game that did take some of my points, but did not allow me gameplay. I believe it was The Walking Dead game. I swiped my card so that my husband and I could do double player, it took my points, but the game did not work as though I had swiped my card. And I did not want to swipe it again under the fear that it might continue eating the remaining points I had left on the card without allowing me gameplay. In the end, we amassed a grand total of about 287 ticket points. Not much that you can get with that, but we did end up cashing them in to get some slime. All in all, we spent about maybe three hours here. It was fun for date night :)

Yelp
We had such a great time at Pinstack! I took my parents on a rainy afternoon, and it ended up being the perfect spot. The setup was super easy, just check in at the counter, they assign your lane, and you're ready to start playing. We caught their happy hour deal, so our game was discounted, which was a nice bonus. The whole place had a fun vibe with bowling, the arcade, and a full bar. We'll definitely be coming back with more people next time

Yelp
We celebrated my grandson's 5th Birthday party here and it was perfect from beginning to end. The staff was attentive, the food was tasty and the drinks were amazing! It's was fun for the whole group of all ages.

Yelp
This place is way nicer than main event so surprised at all the hate. Went here with coworkers to hang out at happy hour. We even got a pizza by signing up for their loyalty program. Its prime location for the Tech Ridge and the arcade had lots of games. We even played a round of bowling and a quick 1/2 round. It's pretty clean too.

Yelp
I went on a date here the other night. We just wanted to get a few appetizers before starting our arcade night. While sitting in the restaurant portion, our server went on break and the server who was supposed to take care of us never came to the table. We were wondering why no one was checking on us, and when our server came back, she explained that she was on break and we were supposed to be someone else's table. She promptly became our table again and took good care of us. The manager was very apologetic about the situation and gave us a discount on our bill and also gave us a game card. It wasn't a great situation, but I felt that management made it right. And we had a great time playing arcade games afterward. The food itself is ok, just bar food. But I'll definitely come back for the good service. And arcade games!

Yelp
Upon walking into this place, I was surprised by the sheer size of it. This place has everything a kid could ever want, games, bowling, food, laser tag, obstacle course, prizes, small bumper car room, climbing wall, and there are even rooms available for private parties. In the bowling area, you'll find one room (VIP suite) which offers eight private lanes with a large private dining room and a bar for private/corporate events. There's flatscreens every direction you turn. For the parents, there's a large dining room/bar and another bar in the bowling area. They have a very good selection of craft beer, wines, even alcoholic shakes. There is an outdoor seating area with a bar along with an outdoor play area for the kids. The food is reasonably priced and they even offer a $50 pizza (36" Kingpin) for your crowd that is absolutely gigantic. The burgers and sandwiches are pretty good, just not amazing. However, I definitely recommend the house frozen margarita during happy hour. For $5, it doesn't disappoint. As the photos included attest, this place has a lot going for it, and certainly worthy of a visit. Lots of music, distractions, action, and noise to occupy your senses. 41/2*

Yelp
I usually don't leave reviews, but I had such a negative experience here that I felt I needed to share. When the place was closing, an employee named Adrianna suddenly started pointing fingers at me and speaking to me in an extremely rude and unprofessional way. This was completely unprovoked -- I hadn't done anything to warrant that treatment. I know the manager could easily check the cameras to confirm what happened, but regardless, no customer should ever be spoken to like that. I left feeling very uncomfortable and disrespected, which is the last thing you expect when you're just trying to enjoy your time somewhere. I hope management takes this seriously, because experiences like this drive customers away. She was pointing fingers at me out of nowhere it was insane felt like I was in a fever dream

Bayron R.

Yelp
Completely Disrespected by Staff -- Unacceptable Behavior I usually don't write reviews like this, but after tonight's experience at Pinstack Austin, I feel it's necessary to share what happened. My family and I were celebrating a 21st birthday at the bowling alley when one of the waitresses behaved in an unbelievably rude and unprofessional way. She spoke to us disrespectfully, in a rude and pushy manner when we were getting to our lane. She rushed in and told us to wait and move and rushed in to grab the money off the table before we could even get a chance to say "hello" or anything. My mother in law apologized and tried to explain we didn't mean to get I. Her way and she in annoyed rude tone dismissed her and walked off. My mother in law was embarrassed by the action since it happen to her in front our entire party and decided to go to the desk and you know explain that she felt disrespectful and was disappointed in the server who did all this before she even greeted us and told us her name. Management said that we will have another server and they'll handle it , well as she was walking by flicked us off, stuck her tongue out, and we found out that she made false accusations against members of our group saying we were yelling at her and threatening her. This all happened while we were simply trying to enjoy our night and celebrate a family member's birthday. We completely understand that every business has rules, but there's no excuse for an employee to treat paying customers or anyone in general like that. It was embarrassing, uncalled for, and left a really bad impression of the establishment as a whole. I hope management takes this seriously, because no one should have to deal with that kind of behavior while spending their hard-earned money at a place that's supposed to be family-friendly and fun.

Yelp
All around a very solid place! There's genuinely something for everyone: bowling, arcade, laser tag, rock climbing, bar, restaurant. With everything there is to offer, it's perfect to bring the family, a fun date, or by yourself to let out some steam! I've been there a couple times and have had great experiences every time. I will say, bowling is a bit pricey, but there's plenty of other fun to be had! One of the bartenders at the bar next to bowling (blonde dude with a goatee) is the coolest guy and has the best service. Keep in mind that this place isn't a restaurant first, so the food is not amazing, but it's good enough to have a good time. And I will absolutely be trying to take down the Kingpin by myself sometime soon!

Yelp
Love coming to Pinstack. We have so much fun bowling and in the arcade. The staff is awesome and very friendly. The burger I ordered was really good and so were the nachos. Definitely would recommend trying this place out.

Oni A.

Yelp
The place is only about making money an has horrible service. We usually go to Spare time in Pflugerville, but we happen to be in the area of pin stack. Today I took my son an my buddy to have some fun. We walk in an the two employees are talking an flirting with each other an dont even acknowledge us. So we go to the bowling area to pay for 1 round of bowling for just one person. Spare time has this option for less then 6$ if you bring your own shoes as well. The teenage at the desk was very unhappy with her job as I could see. The way she acted was like we were bothering her for just asking for a lane. So she says $50+ something for 1 single hour or $32+ for half hour. I said for 1 round 1 person you have anything cheaper for that. She said no an pointed at the sign an said look here's all we have . I was like really. I can read but sheesh . So no option for a cheaper route. That really blows. So my buddy didn't bowl. Wasn't going to pay that ridiculous price for 1 round. Plan was to bowl 1 round an play some games in the arcade section. So then I go put his bowling ball an his shoes in the car so we can enjoy some games . I walk back I an meet my son an buddy in front end. I look around an no one is there. So I see a machine to get the play cards for the arcade. My plan is to get 2 cards for 20$ each. I choose the selection an as im about to pay i notice its 22$. Not 20$ like I choose. I get the attention of another teenage that works there an tell her I picked 20$ card for games an ask why is it charging me 22$ instead. She told me there's a 2$ fee for the card. Wow. This was the first place that I've ever had to pay for a game card. We just left an went to Spare time. Ya so if you like to just give your money away to a place that dont have good service then go here. Ill never spend a pennie or go there again. Spare time is way better.

Yelp
Our family drove to Austin, and since my son wanted to bowl, we decided to stop by Pinstack. It reminded us a lot of Main Event. The facility was really nice, and we enjoyed the bowling, but it was just a one-time visit for us. We didn't get to try the food, but for a quick family outing, it was a good experience.

Yelp
We had a fun day at Pin Stack and it was our first time. We ended up spending 5.5 hours there including bowling for an hour, games and lunch with the tweens. They have discounted bowling during the week from 10-noon. The game room was large and fun and included bumper cars, rock climbing wall, and aerial ropes course. We also had lunch there which was good. The only down side is the portion of fries with the entrees. It was super small. We had to order another order for the table to share. The tweens loved the prize options. They said it was a better selection compared to other similar places. They have a mobile app. Download it before you go so you can start capturing your points . We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Kids loved it. Arcade is in great shape. Only negative is some of the claw machines seem like they will never pick up an item.

Yelp
Brief version: They served a minor (8 years old) alcohol, they were unapologetic and even had an attitude with us after I brought it up to management. Reporting to TABC as of July 22, 2024. On July 13, we came into Pinstack for a family night. We sat at the tables near the bowling alley, and ordered food + drinks. No problem. We ordered alcoholic beverages, and non-alcoholic for our son. When the waitress came, she set the drinks down in front of each of us. Our son's drink was orange/green in color, and I specifically asked, "this one has NO alcohol, right?" To which she replied, "This is the one with no alcohol, yes." Great. So we drank. After a few sips, I realized that she served him an alcoholic beverage. I didn't freak out at that time, just gave our son a ton of water and made sure he was ok. The waitress came back, and I clarified the mistake that was made. She had no concern whatsoever. I had to almost beg to get the drinks remade... I had them all remade to just make sure 100% that they weren't ok with serving alcohol to minors. Her attitude during the entire interaction shows that this location is not properly trained on TABC rules and regulations, and that this has likely happened before, and they just don't care. The management never came. No one was concerned that a child was served alcohol. A literal child. Not a teenager. After begging the front desk agent to talk to someone, a manager did come by after about 30 minutes, and offered me a game coupon for my "inconvenience." That's fine. But overall? Not ok. This wouldn't have been an issue if there was any sort of acknowledgement or apology from the waitress or management, but there wasn't. The attitude of not caring and blowing us off was entirely unacceptable. I get if this was a minor food mistake or something stupid like missing a straw, but to reiterate... THEY SERVED A CHILD ALCOHOL KNOWINGLY, AND DID NOT CARE. ONCE THEY FOUND OUT, THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE WITH US! This is insane, I know. But really, just avoid this place and know this before going in. Taste your kids' food and drinks before they eat or drink here.

Yelp
My first time at Pinstack and we had our employee appreciation celebration here. We had the buffet with bbq and ribs, mac and cheese. We went to the bar and ordered drinks. Most of their cocktails are sweet. We tried each others drink and too much sweet on everything. I decided to get The Swirl (sangria & frozen marg mix) it was okay. The Guy at the Rock wall climbing was helpful and patiently guiding our group who wants to do the climbing. The most fun activities were the Laser Tag, Rock Climbing and the Arcades. A place for a birthday venue, company team building and also for a family day. I would recommend this place and will be back for sure.

Yelp
Fun place but don't expect a grand meal. Over priced food. Just pregame prior to this place

Yelp
Cool spot, it's pretty big, lots of fun games, me and my sister took our kids, didn't have time to try the food or drinks because we went an hour before closing but would definitely go again! Kids had fun and we did too!

Yelp
Great drinks that's about all. The bartender (Mario I believe) and the young lady who brought our food I can't recall her name I believe it started with a "U" anywho, they were the only nice people in the establishment. It was our first time there the manager seemed to not care, he barely explained how everything work. The people who were responsible for the wall climb and the obstacle course in the air were the worst. I mean their attitudes were awful. I'm an adult that they treated this way imagine them treating a child so coldly. Our bowling game got cut off when we started playing because we were eating first and did not know that the time was running; this was not explained to us either. The over all pricing was expensive. However, the pricing would've been fine if the customer service matched it. I would not recommend this establishment and will not be back.

Laura B.

Yelp
Great venue, much better than I imagined. Clean, good drinks, nice atmosphere. Food looked good, but I didn't try anything. Enjoyed bowling and arcade. Nice space, will be back!

Yelp
Rather large area with lots of fun activities for young and old. We came here for a work team bowling night and took up two bowling lanes. One of the lanes didn't work as well (the system kept glitching and staff had to come over a few times). They offered us VIP lanes and a partially refund, so that was nice. The food was pretty good for bar food, and the service was great (shout out to Bryan for doing such a great job). We would definitely come back!

Yelp
Way too expensive Way too dark Service sooooooooo slow Didn't get what we ordered had to wait So loud 100 servers and still super slow

Yelp
Me and my family have been coming here since they first opened a few years ago and this place has gone down hill the new management is just horrible they don't know how to do anything it takes them forever to come and talk to you after an employee calls for them me and my family spoke with manager Edna when we had a issue with some game cards had to been new because I never seen her face before she was clueless to everything even asking employees how to do things and was very rude to me and my family and also heard her being rude to a employee like this is insane Pinstack's is going down hill with this new management

Rodolfo V.

Yelp
This place is nice, but if you have a big party don't expect great waiting service. I asked for a water they brought me a pail of water and a stack of cups....our soft drinks didn't get refilled until we got the check. 18% tip on our party isn't the problem, but the fact that we were not attended to by our waitress having to ask other employees for things we needed I really hope the tip doesn't go in her pocket alone. The manager is nice I will say that much. Definitely just don't come with a big party to "eat".

Yelp
Best bar in round rock!! Ownership should add NFL ticket next year and promote UFC fights!! Thanks to great bartenders like Steph and Kayla!!

Yelp
Been here a few times already and will be back. This place is clean with great staff. The bowling is decently priced and fun! The games are fun, however, buying prizes with the tickets are pretty stiff. We have tried the WTF Platter as well as the Pinstack Signature Burger. The WTF platter is huge. The onion rings perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the chicken nuggets were over breaded and had some dark spots in them which was odd. The French fries were a bit soggy also. The burger was pretty standard. Pros: Onion Rings Mixed drinks Games Bowling Cons: Chicken nuggets French fries

Shelbi R.

Yelp
We came here one day on our group trip and we LOVED it! The activities were endless and everyone had a great time!(:

Yelp
Was so much fun!!!! We loved it!!! Just don't get your card punch to get a necklace because then it makes the card hard to swipe in. Don't leave your table even though they say it's OK they will throw away your food and drinks.

We drove to Austin from Dallas and was looking for something fun for the kids and we came to pinstack. We weren't able to go bowling they said it was a 5 hour wait. So we played some arcades and we went to the restaurant inside of the establishment. We ordered the salmon with creole sauce and it was very bland. The service was slow and the restaurant was ver messy. We tried to order the milkshakes and they told us they weren't taking any orders for milkshakes but later on we seen another table was able to order milkshakes. They forgot to bring our order for wings. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I doubt if I come back.

Yelp
Pinstack Austin is a big new entertainment venues with bowling and arcade games. I went for a trivia night which is hosted in their great enclosed patio area (that can be opened for hot days). They have a good setup and it is a fun place. The food, however wasn't the best. The brisket nachos were really good and I liked the queso. The pizza was not bad but the Nashville chicken sandwich was not good. Some of the drinks were a little heavy on the grenadine but the frozen Jack and Coke was good.

Yelp
We came on a Tuesday so it was pretty quiet, whoever was playing the music had great taste. The best part was definitely the interaction with the bartender (Hunter). He made us laugh a riot, he was able to recommend some drinks for us and just kept checking in on us through the time we were at the bar. We would definitely come again just to see him !

Yelp
Aside from the initial lack of product knowledge, the new employees did okay. Product familiarization will come with time as long as management continues to train and develop them as well as update them with current events and promotions. They knew little and guessed much. Most of them seemed very young; high school aged so they just needed additional leadership and guidance from management. I am able to let that slide for a soft open. Restroom. The men's room was not clean despite the over abundance of personnel on-hand at the front counter during the soft open. Hopefully that was just a one time oversight. Games. The latest in high-tech entertainment! With that comes the high prices/credits of playing them. They also had a little room in which you can drive their bumper cars in the game area. It was a little too confined for me. The food was great and so was the bowling! The console was user friendly and easy to operate. We spent the majority of the time in the lanes bowling and snacking! Our server was attentive and visited us often inquiring of our needs. Wishing we caught here name. She did great! Overall it was a fun place and we had a blast! We'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Stopped in for trivia night on Wednesday. To the business' defense, I don't think the staff were prepared for the amount of people coming in at the same time. However, they have some work to do for improvements. I ordered a bottle of wine for their 50% off wine bottle Wednesday, but they didn't have my first 2 choices... eventually they gave me a comparable substitute about an hour after placing my order. If I had known it was going to be such a long wait to get my server back to take food orders, I would have ordered food when I ordered my bottle of wine. There were only about 2 servers for the entire room of trivia goers...as there were probably over 50 people in the room. Not a good idea by Pinstack. My burger was dry (could have used some mayo, and I didn't realize they optioned "well done" til I got my receipt, I don't remember the server even asking how I wanted it). I had to ask for the truffle mac and cheese after the food came, bc I had subbed it, but the kitchen missed it and gave me fries instead. While the mac & cheese tasted alright, there was no hint of truffle in it whatsoever. My friend added a fried egg in his burger, but the kitchen missed it too. Thankfully, the server did take the extra upcharge off the ticket. Overall, the experience was alright....but there is work to be done for preparation of busy nights like that.

Yelp
Monday evening service 9/23/24. You'd figure it would be a great experience given there was nobody else seated in the entire dinning/bar area when we got seated. The first round of cheese sticks came out cold and soft, but was fixed without issue. Kids Mac n'cheese was literally soupy but the kid muscled it down powered by excitement of games. Wife's brisket Grilled cheese was soft and sad looking, then had to request her side soup that didn't come out with spoon, then was given a long skinny teaspoon lol. Finally my chicken sandwich was meh, thin over cooked chicken breast with thick bread was tuff but glad I ordered extra mayo or else wouldn't have gone down. The waitress was nice but just not around, and Both managers appeared to be seated by the bar our entire time there. One lil walk by to your only table would have been nice to let them know their kitchen was not on A game.. normally not too quick to post but for $50+ in food with NO-ONE else there the kitchen coulda done better.

Yelp
I think that Pinstack is a really good place to play bowling in Austin, The ambience is great, considering that the whole place is filled with lights, making it seem Neon and Electric, which helps the vibe. The service is fast and easy, because last time I went, I ordered a large lemonade, and I drunk it all, and there was free refills, so that was great. The lemonade itself was the best I've had. The Meat-Lovers Pizza was easy to eat and great, because it tasted good and had some bacon and pepperoni I think I remember. The overall place is huge, having a ton of arcade games, and a huge climbing wall, and some bumper karts.

Yelp
The service at Pinstack on Canyon Ridge is absolute trash. I walked up to the bar, said hello, the server that was behind the bar made eye contact with me, then walked away from the bar area. My daughter wanted to play games, my husband had just re-upped her game card so we stayed. We got hungry, went to the hostess counter to be seated, no one was there, but 2 or 3 employees looked at us and kept doing what they were doing. No one addresses us. This was a Monday around 3:30...plenty of individuals dressed in Pinstack uniforms walking around. Additional note: I took a seat by door, across from the hostess booth to write this review. A white couple entered and walked to the hostess counter, no one was there, but an employee appeared out of thin air, almost immediately. I hesitated to describe the instance at the bar as racial, but after witnessing this, I'm thinking it is. If service here is based on color, please ignore my green money.

Yelp
Look at your food while eating... my mistake, 1/3 of my way in to my burger it's all pink, didn't ask us for drinks at all, had to ask for water , then we had to pour our own water at the bar , literally can see everyone in the kitchen and bar on their phones or something cause everyone standing still and looking down. Their milkshakes are warm and I don't even understand how they even did that??? My first time here .... probably my last

Yelp
This is one of those places that you hate giving a good review about because you don't want everyone finding your hidden gem and as a result get too busy. But they deserve a great review for these reasons: 1. Friendliness - I love the employees and management here, they are kind, and customer focused. 2. Great games and activities - not only do they have great arcade games, they have VR, rock climbing, a rope course, laser tag, bumper cars and bowling 3. Food - their food is actually pretty good for a place like this. 4. Cleanliness - this is probably because it's new, but even so, it's kept up very clean It is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for...

Yelp
So I went here to bowl but never got a chance because the wait was too long. That is not the reason for the 3 stars. We decided to eat at the restaurant instead and the wait there was about 30 minutes. I'll go ahead and lead by saying the food was really good. The service, however was awful. I think they may be short staffed but the bartender was trying to make drinks, take orders, and bring out food and it wasn't working. I watched my food sit in the window for about 15 minutes getting cold. Once they got it to me hot, it was good. While we were waiting on the table, we played games and had a blast. This is definitely a good spot to go with a group of friends because there is plenty to do. I just hope they improve their customer service. I did notice afterwards, that they allow online reservations for bowling. Will definitely do that next time.

Yelp
The main reason for the low rating: they charge by time, not games. I've never been to a bowling alley that does this. I asked if I could pay for two games, and was told I had to buy in half-hour increments. I was told that because they were busy, I couldn't add time at the end. I guessed two games would take an hour, but after an hour we still had two frames left in the second game. The game immediately shut off, and we had to leave. Beyond that, the place is fairly mundane. The lanes are small, and you share a booth and ball rack with another lane, which is also unusual. The machines are simple, with no graphics. When I got a turkey I expected to see a turkey show up on screen, but nope, just an X and next person's turn.

Yelp
Went there with my wife and kid. Baught $50 worth of game tokens. Immediately lost about $15 into machines that didn't work. It's crazy how many things don't work here. We tried to get someone to refund us, so they said would come back and then didn't. The staff here seems to be either overworked or completely bored. This place has a lot of potential, but it's not ran very well right now. The machines are obviously are need in desperate repair

Yelp
We had our son's 10th birthday party at Pinstack yesterday and I cannot NOT recommend this place enough. The party room was small and stuffy. The party host and servers were inattentive and downright rude at times, left us hanging multiple times. They were very very disorganized...food wasn't ready when we got there, we asked for some water and were told NO bc they were too booked. Finally our host brought us water in two plastic cups to share I guess? We were left in our party room with 10 kids that were done with cake and pizza for almost 20 minutes and just wanted to play games but the host with the game cards was NOWHERE to be found. My favorite moment was when I was trying to find napkins for our party and peaked my head into an unmarked area attached to our party room that I guess I wasn't supposed to go in (thought there was NO SIGNAGE as to that fact) bc I couldn't find anyone to help us. A server in this area threw me out of the area and gave me some very harsh words. Then she came back with the napkins and let me have it again! Very very unnecessary. The management did listen to my concerns and took some things off my bill but honestly these efforts just didn't cut it. Don't have your event here....it WILL NOT go well!

Yelp
I wanted to review the restaurant called King Pin but that didn't come up in my search. The restaurant within Pinstack is delicious! We had the Honey Bee pizza and it was really good. I cannot believe putting honey on pizza would turn out so well. I also had the specialty drink Painkiller and it was pineapple coconut rum delicious and was pretty strong! We played video games afterwards and did some laser tag. Nice family outing!

Yelp
Pinstack has a wide variety of games and activities to play. There's bumper cars, laser tag, bowling, so many options! There are a lot of games I've never seen anywhere else like axe throwing. It was unclear how to get food, apparently if the restaurant is closed you sit in the bowling area and someone will come over to take your order. We did sit but no one came by so we just kept playing games so not sure how accurate that is. They also don't allow backpacks fyi. Overall very fun, would recommend!

Yelp
We were having a great time. The games are mediocre but yet enjoyable- at least for a kid but that's not my complain. My complaint is the service in this place. This place is extremely unorganized. We ordered but it will usually take at least 30 mins max to receive our food. When we got our food items were missing . We kept asking for the missing items and we did not receive anything. You can clearly tell how messy this organization is and I find it very unprofessional.

Yelp
Came here I think 2 days after they first opened in here in Austin, and they were still putting up things, fixing electrical etc etc. We were one of the first people through the door for a rare afternoon day date. It was super clean being opened only 2 days so 5 stars for cleanliness. We got seated quickly and were treated great by our server. I will say the food was pretty good, the fried mac and cheese balls were the favorites for us. The fried pickles were good but kinda soggy not enough crunch to it. We got the big appetizer platter and it gave us a good idea of what the food was like and it was worth it. We stayed played some games, very similar to a dave and busters but nicer. Game room is a little smaller but it has bumper cars, laser tag, a rock wall, some stuff hanging over everything so it was really neat to go see and hang out for an afternoon. Wanted to go bowling but it was honestly a bit pricey but I am sure you pay for the atmosphere more than anything. Overall great spot we definitely will go back and enjoy it more. giving it 4 stars only because the fried pickles were soggy, and it was open for business but it looked like they were still working things out, should have had all that wrapped up before opening (having random electrical work done all throughout not exactly very pleasing). Great spot would come back again.
