The food flavor was great, but my Pat Thai chicken felt too chewy or reheated. Service can definitely use some help. Sticky mango rice tasted like it was Yesterday’s. I’d like to think maybe they were short staffed and try them once more but definitely wish the food was more freshly made! The server needs to be trained as she does not hear what you say and gets it wrong.

I’ve been to this Thai restaurant twice now, and both times have been amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. You can really taste the love and authenticity in every dish. The waitress is so sweet and helpful, making the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, but surprisingly not very busy. which honestly makes it feel like a secret spot you’ll want to keep to yourself (but I hope more people discover it!). Highly recommend supporting this local gem you won’t be disappointed!

Google
I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing, and I've tried all three curries - red, yellow, and green - with vegetarian options. The taste is incredible! While the service can be a bit slow, it's completely made up for by the flavor of the curries. I've been here many times and always had an awesome experience. I highly recommend it!

If I remember, I try to take a picture of the current menu for those who might want to know the prices. Arrived 40 minutes before closing for lunch. There’s a lunch special Monday-Friday, Opening to 3 PM. The decor was cute especially the pistachio chocolate gelato colored walls. It was quiet and the music was lovely. I had the chicken yellow curry and it was amazing. Slightly sweet with a hint of heat. The vegetables and chicken were cooked to perfection. I didn’t like the calamari as much. The batter used had a slight rancid taste and there was a thick layer of batter. I think it was a bit overcooked. But the horseradish SAUCE was so darn good. I always look forward to thai tea at restaurants. Sometimes they can differ. But this one was mmmmmmm Delicious. Favorite part was stirring it all together. It’s my fun dopamine thing. The service was excellent. Server was friendly and checked in us in a timely manner. Overall lovely place. Will definitely return.

Penang curry and chicken satay are both highly recommended. Not busy when I came by to order take out. Clean and authentic atmosphere and friendly staff.

Google
when we first walked in the waiter helped us immediately and sat us down. i asked for a thai coffee and they told us that they were out and also the mango sticky rice because it was out of season. we got the fresh spring rolls and it was okay. the thai tea we got was really good. i ordered the panang curry and it was okay, it could have been better, made the sauce thicker and not a soup. i also got the drunken noodles which was too salty. overall the service was good, they just don’t have all the things they said they have in their menu.

Google
really good food- it has a gourmet level taste. Comfortable location along Fairway Blvd across the street from Home Depot. Moderately priced.

Had a wonderful lunch. My new favorite Thai spot in Roseville/Rocklin. We were in a bit of a rush and they were very accommodating.

Yelp
This is my first time here. I was greeted immediately with the sweetest server. The food was AMAZING! The curry was so rich with flavor and so was the Khao Soi. The Khao Soi is almost like a green and yellow curry noodle soup. Definitely something new that I've tried and I loved it. Consider trying it if you come:) I also had the Thai tea which is a must have at any Thai restaurant and it was also tasty. The atmosphere on a Saturday was quiet & calming. Restaurant is clean and relaxing. Check this place out. Would definitely come again.

Yelp
First time trying this place. It was completely empty when we walked in but was greeted with great service. For drinks, my family and I ordered the Thai tea and thai green tea. I wasn't a big fan of the Thai tea it was overly sweet in my opinion. The Thai green tea was pretty sweet too but I liked it a little better than the regular Thai tea. I probably wouldn't order it again. The soda tasted a little bit diluted/less carbonated than I would like it though. I ordered the tom yum with medium spice, mango fried rice, chicken red curry and pad thai medium spice. For the tom yum, the spice was perfect. It wasn't bad in taste I would give it a 7.5/10. The mango fried rice was the first time I've ever tried it. My family usually orders the pineapple fried rice. It seems like it contains the same ingredients as the pineapple fried rice but juice with mangoes there was an after taste to it due to a specific spice they put in it that I was not used to but it was very good. 10/10. I didn't try my family's red curry but did not hear any complaints. But wowwww the pad thai was 10000/10. One of the best I have ever tried. It was not lacking in flavor AT ALLL. very well done. I could tell prior to my visit that the pictures I saw on yelp did not disappoint. And having to try it in person confirmed it. Only thing is it didn't really taste like there was any spice but the flavor was outstanding. I can't wait to come back again! Hopefully next time I will make more room for the mango sticky rice :p

Yelp
Saturday early dinner at 5pm. Must have been between server shifts - it was a little slow on the food but not low on the kindness and good service. Started with Pot Stickers. Ordered Choochee Salmon and Eggplant Stir Fry with pork. Brown rice. And a pot of jasmine tea. The salmon sauce was like peanut butter and red coconut curry flavor. Both dishes had veggies done near perfect. My eggplant was a tad over cooked but still was good. The stir fry sauce was delicious. Pot Stickers came out steaming HOT and the dipping sauce was good too. Portions were adequate and kept me from overeat. I took a small box home with leftovers. Lots of tables so might be good for groups but if you come with a large party maybe call ahead and make sure they'll have an extra server. Our server was holding it down - phone orders, to go, bussing tables, taking orders and bringing out the food. She was great!

Yelp
The food is sooo goood! We ordered a whole bunch of stuff to try. The server was super sweet. The restaurant is very unassuming as it is basically tucked into a strip mall. We ordered the Tomkha Soup, fresh rolls, cucumber salad, and something else I can't remember what it was called. Can't wait to go back. We wanted to try the Papaya Salad but they were out...so next time! As usual, we started eating before we snapped a pic.

Yelp
Went there for my birthday recently and made reservations beforehand for a larger crowd since I know its usually a pretty small waitstaff (1-2ppl). Everything was delicious amd came out promptly. Only complaint was that we only ordered one dish slightly spicy, but several of the dishes came out hotter than it normally is. I was fine with it, but I know some of my friends struggled to eat some of the food. The waitress had confirmed our order when she left and correctly repeated back we only wanted one dish medium hot, so I dont know what happened. Still a favorite of mine, but would like to warn those who can't handle spicy food to be very clear when ordering what your spice tolerance is.

Yelp
We ordered the yellow curry, drunken noodles, and fresh rolls to go. The fresh rolls were enjoyable. The yellow curry had lots of flavor, but a few of the vegetables were slightly browned, as if they had overcooked on the bottom of the pan. Unfortunately, the white rice was undercooked and inedible and we had to throw it out. Despite that, we really enjoyed the curry, drunken noodles, and fresh rolls overall. This was only our second time ordering from here, and it's the first time we've had any issues. We'll likely give them another try.

Yelp
Was in the area and decided to dine-in this time. The Vietnamese roll is now determined to be a favorite at this place! It was better enjoying them at the restaurant fresh and warm! Crunchy and very tasty! The yellow curry mild had a little (tolerable) kick to it. Love them potatoes and carrots in that dish! Although towards the end of our meal, it got near closing time, we did not feel rushed. Our server was nice with a quiet demeanor. Happy to report we actually finished our meal before closing time. I would recommend dining in!

Yelp
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff at the front. I ordered the Chicken Cashew Nut, it was amazing, I absolutely loved it! I definitely plan on coming back again, and would recommend to my friends. I've ordered Cashew Nut at other restaurants before but in my opinion this was the best I've had so far. Restaurant inside is clean, quiet and roomy with a nice set up for seating. 5 Stars all around.

Yelp
The Shrimp Fresh Rolls are huge, fresh and healthy. Just $9.99 so not bad and healthy AF paired with a a delightful Tomha shrimp soup. Empty place on a cold Thursday night 11/7. After I ate the rolls I ate all the peanut sauce. Yes, you can do that.

Yelp
For one the service was excellent and the young girl who took care of us was attentive. The food was good and reasonably price. The place was clean and organized.

Yelp
Always the best in Rocklin and Roseville area. Real Thai Family owned little restaurant: husband is the cook, wife is the waitress and sometimes daughter helps. Food is authentic. She keeps everything sparkling clean.
google avatar

Laurie M.

Yelp
Nothing special about the decor, but this place has excellent food! I especially couldn't stop with the Pad Thai - soooo delicious. The sweet & sour pork was a little skimpy on pork. Parking is easy for large groups.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best Thai restaurant I have found in Roseville. Reasonable prices and amazing food. Their yellow curry is the best I've ever had! I also appreciate they have brown rice and not just white rice. We usually get takeout and it's always ready very quickly. The two ladies who work the front are lovely, nice and very efficient. Love this place!

Yelp
I was getting my nails done and saw this place across the way. The family wanted pad Thai for dinner, so I thought to give it a try. It was a tad pricey and I had to wait for a little bit. The customer service was very good. It is a small location and the front area near the cash register can get crowded with pick-up order people. The pad Thai was good, just not amazing. I'd go back if I was in the area.
google avatar

Lindsay D.

Yelp
Best Thai food in town and we have tried them all. Our favorites are the Pad Thai noods and chicken sauté. Honestly, their chicken is just to die for.
google avatar

Pam N.

Yelp
Consistently good through the years. Even their brown rice is above par. All of their curries are great as are their egg rolls. The Tom Kha is my favorite in Roseville.
google avatar

Mario M.

Yelp
Giving a 3/5 star because my dish really wasn't all too tasty. Got the sweet and sour pork and tasted like ketchup ontop of pork and it was mainly veggies on my dish. Everyone else's dishes were all pretty good though. The pad Thai and cashew chicken both tasty as well as the coffee which comes with a free refill. Super cute and quiet and clean inside. Will reevaluate rating next time I go and hopefully my dish will be up to par. Service was great as well.

Yelp
Yuh-mee! Perfectly cooked shrimp, tender noodles and came to my door piping hot! Side of fluffy jasmine rice and a creamy perfectly sweet Thai iced tea. My new local favorite!
google avatar

Brandon F.

Yelp
Drunken noodle is my go to and pinto thai makes one of my favorite drunken noodle around. All of their curries are also fantastic. Heads up They do allot of take out orders so unless you enjoy being the only person in the restaurant I suggest you do like everyone else and order to go.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
The red curry and the Thai basil with chicken are our go to favorites! The pra ram is also fantastic! Service is always wonderful and the portions are generous. It's a favorite Thai place for us and recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a wonderful dining experience!

Yelp
We ordered Thai tea and egg rolls for appetizer. For our entrees, we ordered yellow vegetable curry and Thai basil fried rice. The egg rolls were made with rice paper which I personally prefer over the regular wrappers as they are more crunchy. The dip was a sweet chili and fish sauce mixture which I wouldn't mind drinking it all because it was so good. The yellow curry was my favorite of all. It was slightly creamy and was very flavorful with the vegetables. I also ordered a side of rice since it would have been too flavorful to eat on its own and also keeps me full. The fried rice was good and not too much basil like it can be at some places. I came on a triple digit day so the a/c wasn't working properly but the workers put a portable a/c next to my table to keep me cool which was nice.

Amanda Z.

Yelp
We came on a Tuesday evening. We were the only customers. The waitress is very nice. We ordered Thai fried chicken wings as appetizer. It's ok. I give it 3/5. It has the Thai sweet and sour sauce, but the flavor is only on the surface. I got Kow Soi (coconut flavor curry with crispy noodle on top and regular noodle underneath) It was really good!! 5/5 don't forget to ask to make it spicy if you like spicy. My husband got a Thai basil chicken. He loved it. But again, ask for spicy option. Otherwise, it's not spicy at all. And it doesn't come with rice either. You need to order it separately.

Sam J.

Yelp
Food is great have ordered multiple times here the staff is friendly. The ambiance was great overall a good experience. Only point docked was when ordering to go the orders can sometimes be inconsistent. My go to is the drunken noodles with no bell peppers but sometimes there will be bell peppers. My favorite mango sticky rice spot in the area!

Yelp
Amazing Thai food. Likely the best I have ever had. I love curry's. I have fallen in love with their pumpkin and Penang curry. I love it Thai hot. I've been almost weekly for a few months now. Took my sister last night and she also thinks it may be the best Thai she has ever had. We enjoyed the Jasmine tea and the spring rolls. The service is also amazing, they are too attentive though. Instead of just filling water the very young waitress typically interrupts conversation. I love good service, but she's a bit over the top, interrupting our conversation 13 times in an hour last night. Sometimes people just want to enjoy without talking to the waitress. She's young but needs the feedback the people will get her attention if they aren't happy. She interrupted our convo 4 times to ask if we were happy with the food or needed anything. Among the other interruptions, it takes away from the experience of connecting with the people the customer is enjoying the food with. I hope that improves because it's become frustrating. Thank you for the flavor!

Yelp
Same difference as other Thai restaurants. Such a big disappointment. Everything was good, the pretty girl brought us told us that we can pick whatever place she gave us a round table kind of alright I suppose? Yet I kind of know that is still a tad bit small for our family. I got some root beer I think? And water, the main dish I chose was a dish that I am familiar of which is drunken noodles hottest spice of 5, I was asking if there is any hotter? Got the food, I first tasted some beans kind of alright? Until I started eating the dish, the whole dish tasted like fish... That was when started the big disappointment. Quite sure that the cooks DID NOT change the oil, after they used the god dayumn exact same oil when they cooked some fish... There was a huge decision of why I chose TOFU, mainly because I am VEGAN, not supposed to be consuming any type of mear products... Hence SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. I WOULD NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS BUSINESS ESTABLISHED FOR THE COOKS ARE SO LACKADAISICAL

Inna G.

Yelp
Very pleasant people working there but food was not great. I used to visit Thailand and maybe expect more. The curry was not bad. The chicken larb though had zero spice , almost no lime ( I had to add at home) and no fish sauce. It was very disappointing.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and the food was delicious!! We ordered the pineapple fried rice, pad Thai and the drunken noodles. Restaurant is super clean, the host was the sweetest ever. We live in Yuba City and will be making the commute to Roseville for our Thai food. We did wait quite a while for our food and restaurant was not packed but then again everything was made fresh.
google avatar

Sara J.

Yelp
I don't want to give 5 stars because I don't want people to make it more busy for me!!! But I would be lying if I didn't. The food is amazing. We were getting Thai food regularly elsewhere and were losing interest. Tried this place out and fell in love. The spices in the dish were delightfully spicy. If GF, many dishes are made with rice noodles, so we got to try things we couldn't elsewhere. YUM!!! So, basically this has become our go-to-I-don't-wanna-cook-and-I-want-something-delicious place.
google avatar

Roopa T.

Yelp
Excellent food. All dishes are so delicious and authentic. They use best quality ingredients and cook them to perfection. service was so gracious and efficient. it's now my all time favorite.

Yelp
Good food and peaceful ambiance while eatting. There is a wait sometimes but totally worth it.

Yelp
FOOD - Thai Fried Rice with Shrimp: stir-fried rice with eggs, peas, carrots, and green onions with a side of cucumbers. Good flavor. 4.5/5 - Pad Thai with Shrimp: stir-fried rice noodles with eggs, tofu, bean sprouts, and green onions, topped with peanuts. Just the right combination of sweet and tangy. 5/5 - Thai Basil Chicken: chicken sautéed with Thai basil, green beans, red bell peppers, and onions. A little on the bland side. 3/5 - Red Curry with Tofu: red curry paste with coconut milk, bamboo, red bell pepper, green beans, and basil. This curry was really good. It had it hint of spice. 5/5 SERVICE: I ordered take-out. The young lady who took my order was friendly. The cook made my special order correctly. 5/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I'd come back. We were mostly satisfied with the food.

Yelp
I finally found my Thai restaurant. I've lived in Rocklin 3 years now and the search is over. Yeah, it's a little pricey but where isn't nowadays. Fast service, nice people, quiet place, great for date night or take out. The medium spice chicken Drunken Noodles is outstanding. Thank me later
google avatar

Shila A.

Yelp
I've tried every Thai restaurant in Roseville and Rocklin because I'm a huge fan of Thai food, but honestly this is just on another level and I had to let them know! The Thai basil and curries are excellent, but today I also tried the drunken noodles with mixed vegetables and I was completely blown away by the explosion of flavor. I recommend checking the hours closely, and planning to come here for Thai food rather than anywhere else. It will be worth it!
google avatar

Christina K.

Yelp
So good! Friendly service! Will definitely come back soon. Surprised it wasn't busier

Yelp
Order: Pad Thai Green curry Everything prepared well but would say the pad Thai was too sweet.

Yelp
The pineapple fried rice is to die for! Great customer service every time we go. Definitely our favorite Thai spot in Roseville

Yelp
This is our go to Thai restaurant. The food is always fresh and flavorful and they use quality meats. The service is always fabulous. I dare you to find more polite staff anywhere. We love pinto!

Yelp
This is a long, over-due review. When my wife and I moved to Roseville a year ago, we made it our quest to find the best Pad Thai in the area. This was the first place we tried, and it blew us away. Our quest was short-lived: Pinto Thai is better than any other I've tried across all of California. In fact, it was as good as, if not better, than the food in Thailand. We don't go out to eat often, but when we do, we find ourselves coming back here. The flavors here are A U T H E N T I C. Everything here, from pad thai, the curries, drunken noodles, thai salads, to fried rice is just packed with flavors. You can taste the tamarind in the pad thai, the kaffir lime leaves in the curries, the aromatic roasting of the cashews in the fried rice, the hint of peanuts in the salad dressing. They don't cut corners here with how they make each dish. Best of all, the food has Michelin-level consistency! Each time we come is just as good as we rememebered. It's as if Thailand's God of cooking resides in the kitchen here, blessing us with truly delicious food. Every single one of our friends and family that we've shared Pinto Thai with agrees that the food here is amazing and worth going back for. If you're looking for some authentic Thai food, then this is it.
google avatar

James O.

Yelp
Love this place, eat here all the time. It's a family-run place that never gets too busy so there's never a wait. Drunken noodles are great, all the veggies are cooked through and noodles have a great chew to them. Yellow curry is really good, potatoes and carrots are always tender. Great flavor and aroma. Tom Kha always hits the spot and it never disappoints from here.

Chris N.

Yelp
Hidden gem Pinto Thai B. Is a lovely, quiet restaurant with good Thai food. I like this restaurant over the other more trendy restaurants because they have a great atmosphere, if you like quiet. Also their food is brought out quickly after ordering and the food is not overly greasy. Although I like my food spicy, I have some of my family members that can't tolerate spicy. This place can do either, or in our case both. I've gone to places where you order some of the dishes, spicy, and the other mild, only to get everything equally spicy. At Pinto Thai bistro, we order some dishes spicy, and the others mild, and they get it right. Prices are reasonable too. Beware: Closed on Mondays!! Love their green papaya salad, drunken noodles, and their Pineapple or basil fried rice. But I love getting a side order of steamed vegetables for just $4 dollars. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!

Yelp
This is so close to 5 stars. Why 4? One reason, value, I found their price point to be high compared to their category competitors. However, there is significant difference in what they deliver. First, the establishment is impeccable. It is decorated nicely and is spotless. Everything is clean, not worn down, and seems very well maintained. The experience has been well thought out with purposeful intent. I really appreciated the attention to detail. The cuisine was really the star. We started with spring rolls adding shrimp to them. There were 6 total pieces that came with both peanut and sweet and sour sauce. These were as fresh as they can come, and were delicious. Our main courses included chicken pad Thai and chicken with vegetables. Both were wonderful! Each had a unique taste and were skillfully executed. So why then the minus 1 star? First my soft drink was $3 with refills included. That's a bit high, and as well the spring rolls were $10. The entrees were in the $12 range which for lunch is a bit high, for a total including tip of over $44. I am not saying the experience wasn't fantastic, our server was great, the facility was fantastic, and the food was wonderful, I just think that had the price point been closer to just under $40 for lunch, it would be off the charts for value. We will go back, just not as often as we do to our other Thai favorite, based on the cost. We will go here though for something special!

Yelp
Great restaurant, best Thai food in Northern California, and great service! We have been ordering out and dining in person for years now.
google avatar

Linda A.

Yelp
Pretty good food....curry was one of my favs - red medium heat with peppers. We asked for shrimp but had a total of 4....so don't waste your money on the extra for shrimp. Pad with beef very nice and sticky rice was good but again small serving in aluminum foil for $3 a serving? And what were we suppose to put curry on? Overall I may or may not go back.

Renee C.

Yelp
This food is absolutely the best and most authentic Thai food in the area. Just watch the heat level. My husband and I like spicy food and eat it all the time. We order spicy level 2 and feel the spice. Highly recommend pad thai, basil fried rice and drunken noodles
google avatar

Sivasa L.

Yelp
I really enjoyed coming to this restaurant. It is my first time being there, and even after my party and I had finished eating and spent extra time there, the restaurant was not pushy to escort us out. The service was OK, and the food was brought out in a timely manner and nice and hot. I really enjoyed the mango sticky rice along with the Tom Kha soup. I appreciate that they had plant-based options and so all of our food came out with tofu instead of meat. My favorite dish is the fried flat noodles or pad see ew and for me, it is what I Judge Thai restaurants off of. Although tasty, the noodles were not cooked all the way through. The sauce did not evenly distribute throughout the flat noodles giving us bites of bland tasting noodles from time to time. This is not to say that it was unbearable, but again this is my favorite dish and it helps determine whether I will go back and whether I will refer people to them. I did have to remind the waitress for a few items but it was no big deal. This is not a bad place to go if you're looking for Thai food in this area, but I would love to see the improvement in how they cook the food specifically their flat noodle dishes.

Yelp
Excellent food! Never disappoints and food is always flavorful. My family and I frequent this gem regularly and when we have out of town visitors, they rave about it too

Yelp
Never going back. to say the least, we've been going to this place off and on for over ten years. it's always hit or miss. The original cooks were great! We've always called food in and picked up, and 1/3 of the time it's completely different or wrong. we have to drive back up there and wait, to get the "right" order. Tonight we ate in. ( Which I've also done multiple times.) Their website says " open " as I write this. it states open until 8:30 pm Tuesday-Friday. food was ok, but what got me, was the fact that a woman in a mask came out with a bucket of extremely high concentration of bleach/ chemi water, and began mopping as we were still dining, only a few bites in to our dinner. Right adjacent to our booth! It ruined our experience, and I started feeling sick. I left it up to my husband how he wanted to handle it, & he decided to get to-go boxes, and we asked for the check... if it were up to me, I'd have left the food, and walked out. Either way, we're NOT going back or ever ordering takeout again from this place. Good luck staying in business, Pinto Thai. Se'La Vee. AND, btw I used to refer Lot of my clients to go try this place. I'm literally about 1/4 mi away. Not doing that again either.

Yelp
This bistro is amazing! One of our favorites around Sacramento. The veggies are incredibly fresh and the flavors are immense! I can tell the spices are fresh, too. Curry that is very fragrant and spicy- perfect for all the senses. My only downside, which is just a personal preference, is the pot stickers being deep fried instead of pan fried. The staff is very courteous. The lights are low enough for some ambiance (and no one can see the food on my shirt). Why isn't this the busiest place in town?!?! Go!! Now!!
